Love the vacuum, but the app needs some work. When you open it, it gives you a tip and won't let you actually get into the app until this goes away. It stays on the screen for a really long time. I usually open the app, put my phone down, go do something, and when I get back it'll be ready to use. Also, the app lost my map and No Go zones a couple of times. It was a pain to put it all back in. The vacuum is amazing, though, and worth putting up with the app.

I like the vacuum itself but the app isn't good, we've had our vacuum for over 3 months and a map still isn't made of our house, even after resetting it twice. I don't see the point in that feature, or in the price I paid to have that feature, if it isn't ever going to work. The floor plan isn't that complicated..

Love the vacuum. Hate the app. They keep making changes making it work even less than before. A year ago I had no issues. Now it forgets my map constantly. I have two units. Happens on both. Many times it takes more than FIVE tries to send the robot out to clean. I was going to buy two units for Christmas presents but they would have too many issues trying to get it to work using the app. Please just fix the app. If you have to revert back to the old one, I think many would prefer that.

5 stars for the actual vacuum. I love it! I am amazed at how I almost never have to clean hair off the brush roll. But this new version of the app sucks. While the old version was really basic, it worked. And every time I try to find a workaround for the issues I'm experiencing, it seems like the next update breaks them in a different way. *If you're unable to create a room smaller than 4 feet (for a hallway) try zooming in before clicking Add Room. The more zoomed in, the smaller the room.

The map never improves and it gets deleted to often! Looks like it needs some work. It doesn't let me know when the robot is stuck. When the map is somewhat correct, you hit "yes" and nothing happens after. The names of the rooms get on top of each other and you can't actually see the names. You can't zoom the map. And it is overall a slow app.

At the price these things run I'd say dump some money into making something work. My phone died waiting for this thing to "connect" I wouldn't call that "this could take a moment". Useless app meets useless product. Still waiting for the user friendly part. Not a great first impression at all. Think I'll go with Dyson.

The app will not stay connected to Google or Alexa. When I open the app to change the cleaning mode I cannot make any changes once the vacuum has started. The app is terrible if you don't start off by making the set adjustments then starting the vacuum yourself. I wish you could set the cleaning mode per rooms. Examples: Eco on wood floors & regular on carpet. I love the vacuum & the bin combo! Would give 5 stars just for that. Yes, my app is up to date. I check it daily.

I'm afraid we bought the wrong company. The app is horrible. It will not just open. You have to stare at a helpful tip for 30 sec before it opens, if it opens. The app is not user friendly. Many functions are not easily accessible. Very frustrating when the vacuum is not responding appropriately and the app won't work.

I love the Shark robot but hate the app. My home screen doesn't display properly and cuts off certain features I would like to be able to use. Setup can be tedious, even for a networking professional. Scheduling works as expected, notifications too, but overall I don't find the app very helpful. The room naming method is horrible. You are guaranteed to name the same room twice. This app doesn't need to be complicated to be great. 2 stars. It's a functional app, but just barely.

Works great for two weeks then when you launch it, your robot vacuum is gone and you have to readd it and connect and remap the area. EDIT: this review is entirely for the app. The vacuum itself works great. I have a husky and hardwood floors and it picks up all the hair. Doesn't work that great on carpet, but for hardwood it's amazing.
