5 stars because I needed this; there's no other Shanghainese app available, and, so far at least, its accurate.

Provides many, many useful (and alot of military?) phrases which can be spoken to help pronunciation when learning. I didn't know Shanghainese was so different from Mandarin Chinese, but I've learned with this app that spoken (and written, to a sizeable extent), it is unintelligible to a regular Chinese speaker.
