Remember that time when your device lost 50% of battery life during the night because a gazillion services from careless apps kept keeping your device awake and you have no way to disable them? Or when apps keep waking up your phone for no reason and you find no way to fix it other than uninstalling it? Servicely to the rescue! First of all make sure you're (it won't work otherwise). You'll be able to select which apps will be put to sleep when the display goes off. Magic! You can also disableenable permanently any service on your device. It's useful if you have services that tend to auto-restart and keep your device awake, or if you have games sending you never-ending notifications. There's also a feature to prevent apps from running in the background (doesn't force stop or disables them) on your system. It's particularly useful to prevent popular social network apps from constantly keeping your phone awake during idle. Disable any broadcast receiver from any app on your device! This app is somewhat powerful so be responsible when using it. Feel free to reach out! Unlike most developers you will find, I'm more than happy to respond. If you have a problem, before putting in that one star review, please reach out to @franciscof_1990 on Twitter, or send me an e-mail to [email protected]. I'm always happy to get back to you. I take no responsibility for any fault or damage caused by any misuse of this app.

This is a fantastic battery saving solution for rooted users on Oreo. Pair it with NapTime as the deadly duo for eliminating parasitic battery draining activities on your device. This does require quite a bit of very detailed user configuration, most of which is not for the faint of heart, non-technical or just lazy people. It would be ideal if between Servicely and Naptime, one of tham provided the ability to create a Home screen icon to turn off the screen and immediately activate Doze.

Fantastic program, thank you Francisco! Everyone else, ideally you should be rooted. So spend a few minutes learning about this program and how it works before giving a lame review, because you are clueless, and do not know the actual purpose of the app. This app is ten times more usable than the plethora of popular battery saving aka: eye candy apps that actually do nothing.

For whatever odd reason, whenever I have Servicely enabled, tap to wake feature through Franco Kernel doesn't wake up the phone. And neither does lifting phone. It even struggles to open using the fingerprint scanner. . . it takes a good 5-10 seconds for the screen to turn on. I haven't disabled any services or crucial Google apps. This is on a Nexus 6P on Oreo 8.1.

Exactly what I needed, does what it's supposed to, easily & reliably. The ads can be turned off for free (that's nice of the dev), but I find it useful so it's well worth buying the dev a coffee.

Servicely definitely silences background activity and it does this really well. I've run into a few issues whilst having this and Naptime both enabled but I cannot say whether either of them were the cause. I was running BlissOS 9.0 and it does have some bugs so I am testing now with stock OxygenOS with Magisk and latest BluSpark kernel release. I will revert to factory stock OOS if issues persist so I can send debug logs. Thank you for your awesome work!

Awesome all in one to disable services and receivers! Use with his other app Naptime, they complement each other. Do research into your problems (more than likely wakelocks) and help them with this app! Awesome dev well known in the XDA Community. I've used his kernels on my OnePlus One, hope he develops for the OnePlus 8T which is my new baby now!

Doesn't seem to work. Services I never disabled are showing up on disabled services screen, re-enabling them and coming back to the app later, they still show as being disabled. Not sure what's working and what's not.

it is a good app, but it refreshes the app list every time you want to disable an app from running in the background or check settings that you've set for apps. why not let users manually refresh the app list to reduce loading times?

A fantastic tool to help increase battery life and assist with keeping services down when the device is down. A definite must have for the advanced user and a real benefit to the Android world.

Rating this app for one star because this doesn't work without "root." In all seriousness, I haven't gotten a chance to use this app at all considering I'm not root. When I opened the app I was met with "please don't rate this app one star." I feel bad that the developer is terrified of unjustified reviews so I gave it 5 stars. What I can say though is I wish the word root was somewhere in the title that's a little misleading to store it within the description. TL;DR this app requires root. D:
