    I installed the app on Wed 15th. I have tried Covid 19 check in 3 times in 3 days with 3 failures! Error message in red text: " This is not a NSW govt QR code." Well of course it isn't. These are cafes. UPDATE. Tuesday, I tried the app at 2 places and both failed. My 3rd party app succeeded.

    I am disappointed I can not log into this app. I have a service NSW account, I tried logging in with the same details and it says it's incorrect. I have tried ringing Service NSW and they have no idea why it's not working

    Slow, unintuitive, gives no progress indication, requires multiple logins between eg maritime licence, doesn't seem to display other licence/ registration details, but not sure it should??? Stick with your Wallet versions.

    Cant add my driver licence no matter what I try, it checks my account and then says link my account and I select to use the email address on my service nsw account it says successfully linked then checks my account again but then goes back to the same screen and asks me to link my account with an email address....

    Keeps advising to put in a valid email when re-logging in after an account was made, however it does not recognise a valid email. Tried using 3 ppl who have an account and no ones worked. Kept saying that the email is not valid. Definitely know theres no typo errors. Tried on another phone and still same issue.

    Stalled downloading at 87% and again at 99%.. why do we have to install ANOTHER app to be covid safe? This should be part of covid safe app OR just have a QR to register on a website. Soo much easier than this app which wont install.

    App freezes on my pixel 3a at license display. Can't check in to a venue or prove the license isn't a screenshot as app freezes there every single time even after a reinstall.

    Still can't log on, had twice asked for the same into. Still not logged in. This is a totally unnecessary app, or could all be done via website.

    Load of rubbish, could sign in once, since then it's told me my pin is wrong, I sign in with me acc details to setup a new pin and when confirming the new pin it says an error has occurred. There's no way around this, no option to use my secure login details then a less secure pin, no 2fa, absolute joke. [Edit] Seeing as I can't responded to the generic developer reply directly, how does going to a service centre help with the poor insecure design of the app? Can I give zero stars?

    UPDATE: Latest update fixed this problem. App works well - especially the covid check in. When i scan a Service NSW QR code it doesn't recognise that i have the app installed and takes me to a website asking me to install. If i click on that link it tells me the app is already installed. If i have the app installed It should take me straight into the confirm contact details screen so all i have to do is confirm. People won't read that they have to install and open the app first.

    Absolute rubbish! Keeps asking me to put in a valid email. IT IS A VALID EMAIL! IT IS MY ONLY EMAIL! It is typical of anything to do with State Government. I can not log into my own account, tried to make a new account but it wouldn't let me because, guess what....THAT EMAIL ALREADY EXISTS! I am not an idiot, I am doing everything right and still you stupid app won't let me sign in to my own account.

    It worked really well on my other phone now I have changed phones it keeps telling me already installed. Go to find the App icon to log in NOTHING! It shouldn't be so damn complicated to xfer to new phone. Have been without digital license since upgrading to a new phone. Can not find the App to uninstall and can't find app that has been installed. Total waste of time!!!!

    From reviews this App sounds typical of most government instigated ideas. Best of intentions but never tested properly before being pushed out for public consumption. Unnecessary frustration and time wasted akin to trying to access information or intelligence from Centre link.

    Very frustrating. I have the same problem as Kranq Aus in back in June 20. I log in and then it demands my PIN but won't accept it. The software is very clunky in its operation too. PS (in response to Service Australia's response) I rang Service Australia's IT people who blamed my Smartphone, a Moto G7, and said they couldn't fix the problem.

    Good app able to open up my drivers licence easily. But unable to access my fishing licence or boat licence. Says samsung needs a security certificate and opens up a new web page. Am I doing something wrong. Edited, I'm the dummy didn't link the other licences through the web site. Probably needs to be mentioned in the app for old guys like me.

    No way in if you forgot your password. It sends you a one time code but that opens and logs you in on the web. When you switch back to the app you're still logged out. Frustrating

    I only use this for virtual licence. The fingerprint unlock is nice. The virtual licence is a bit too heavy for budget phones like the Nokia 3 though: the animation isn't smooth.

    I haven't been able to use the app at all and I was a beta tester more than two years ago. It keeps telling me there's an error when typing my pin and try again later, for 2 years! The same occurs when resetting with a new pin. I contacted Service NSW support and after 6 months of emails. They told me to use an iPhone to reset my pin and only then I would be able to use it. I wish the app could give us more information for a support ticket.

    Does not work very well when you are using a larger font. Many screens become hard to read with one line of text overlapping the next. Other than that it's nice to have access to many vehicle and license related stuff in one place

    Aftet registration and initial setup of password and then pin code, subsequent login attempts are hindered by the pin code functionality not working properly. Password login works to then force you to try to use the pin code. Pin code login gives "Problem occured please try again" message for both regular pin entry and reset confirmation pin entry. Using an LG V20 with Andriod 8.0.0

    Ridiculous as it doesnt work on rooted phones. I have my banking app which works on my phone which I really should be concerned more about of it's security leaks than your frustrating app! So next time when you push an update please disable "root check".

    Easy to set up, must be leading the country (and the world) in having and accepting digital licences. Note signup screen took a bit of time to load, just leave it for 10sec.

    Have tried 5 times to link licence. Have given up and deleted the app. Useless. After 4 days of many, many attempts and being told service was temporarily unavailable I finally succeeded.

    Rubbish. I login, it asks me for a pin (after ive logged in using either my login or fingerprint or authentication for email) it then tells me my pin is incorrect, even though if already logged in using two other forms of authentification. Then i need to give it a new pin, but i cant use old pins so i have to use a pin that i have little chance of remembering. Let us use old pins. Or just plain old logins. Pins are supposed to be for convenience. Ease up on the restrictions.

    I've been trying for 6 months to get my digital licence. App on the pixel 2 asks me to link to RMS which it reports as successful then cycles back to where I began - asking me to link to RMS. I've previously reported the problem and received no response. Come on! Why is it so buggy? UPDATE: ServiceNSW app team helped me fix this issue. Efficient service from Chris. Rating changed to 4 stars as a result.

    When I tried to add my digital drivers licence, my husband's license automatically installed. Now he can't access his license on his phone and I can't change mine! It's automatically provided me with his details without any verification. I thought being on my phone, I would only be able to see my details. There's no recognition from the beginning to verify who's details your going to access...lucky I didn't register my fingerprint for it! Deleting app now.

    Can't log in. The red bar below the login screen which is presumably for pressing to log in has three white dots that show up as loading, regardless of whether any credentials have been entered. Once credentials have been entered clicking on the red bar below does not take effect. Observed on Huawei Y7

    App stopped working after about two weeks with a message saying I was using an unsupported version of the software and directed me to a login page which did not work either. This would be no good for me to show my digital drivers licence which I can no longer access.

    Fingerprint scanner has become slow to appear and slow to scan. There is no visual indicator to suggest that the scan has occurred. This is an issue if haptic feedback is switched off.

    Digital pwc licence inaccurate, states not valid to drive pwc, and in details states not valid to drive pwc at any speed, yet the licence type is pwc, also no photo shown...

    👎 I am suspicious of the security of my private data and others should be too. This has come since the latest, May 2020, cyber attack hacking of Service NSW's electronic database. Hackers retrieved hundreds of thousands of documents including drivers licences, and 47 staff accounts were accessed. It's unfortunate it's happened, but it's not unfortunate that the government didn't upkeep the security of the system. I do not trust them holding peoples personal and private data. Uninstalling. ☹️👎

    USELESS!!! Don't bother NO ONE accepts this as an I.D Banks, court house, correctional centres, post office etc! Even worse now that you can't log in, I only had it cause im always forgetting my licence No#. Uninstalling now

    For me this app is close to useless. There are so much more that can be done in terms of being useful and more efficient. Not sure what this app is really trying to achieve. I can only register my Driving Licence, nothing else. Absolute security overkill, cannot copy/paste, text select is blocked after opening the app, no screenshot, annoying repeated password & PIN requests, etc. Can't use fingerprint or other biometric.

    was working fine for ages. after latest update unable to log in due to non standard software.. the phone is stock and no new apps.. *edit* contacted supplied email. Support was able to assist getting this resolved, they where very responsive, professional, and took the time to read and respond to each email, there where no scripted responses. turns out Rom Manager(an old app that came across from a rooted phone, and was useless on a non-rooted phone) was causing this issue for me

    EDIT: Previously, I had posted a review that you couldn't access your Working with Children Check info on this app. The day after I posted it, ServiceNSW updated the app and now I can access my WWCC! Very useful and quick anticipation of users' needs on their part. It appears that the app functions are still growing, but so far so good!

    This app was easy to use with a nice, simple UI. After the latest app "upgrade however, alot of features have been removed: one example I can no longer easily check demerit points via the app (it now takes you to the Service NSW website where you have to log in again). The new UI is terrible and logging in is so glitchy & slow it's just become useless. NOTE TO SERVICE NSW: BRING BACK THE OLD APP. IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER WITH A BETTER USER EXPERIENCE/INTERFACE.

    9/10 times putting in the pin does nothing. Once you are finally logged in after force stopping the app repeatedly most of the functionality is reduced to the error called "something went wrong". Want to show your new digital license at a RBT? Well that's too bad because "something went wrong" after you had to apologise to the officer that it takes you about 15 tries just to log into the app in the first place. Don't hold your breathe to get rid of the physical card anytime soon.

    Worked fine on first install a few weeks ago. Went to load my licence last night and it locked up the phone completely. Twice! Then told me I was using "non-standard" software, so wouldn't let me log in. Updated the app this morning. No more lockup, but still getting the "non-standard software" message. Not much use to me in this state, so uninstalled it. I do not run a custom ROM, and my phone is not rooted. Standard Telstra Galaxy S8. Five banking apps all working fine.

    The digital licence works pretty well. Very handy if you ride a motorcycle. You don't need to take your wallet on rides. A small gripe I had with it was when I upgraded my bike licence from Learner to Provisional it did not reflect on the app even after refreshing the screen. I needed to reinstall the app to get it working. Also there needs to be a way to get rid of the give feedback link at the bottom.

    The digital licence thing doesn't work, tried to link it a few times and every time it just stays on the "checking your account page" without progressing. Useless. Update: still can't link, get a new error message now. This whole online service is completely pointless, and basically telling me to visit in person, which defeats the whole purpose of creating online access.

    I have had this App for a few years as I work out of NSW but still keep cars for when I return - I tried to use it but it wouldn't open because I had to update it. No problem I updated, restarted my device and kept getting the "to continue you need to update" message. So I deleted and did a fresh new install which still won't open because it says "to continue you need to update". Work out the bugs guys -very annoying

    EDIT: After almost ten attempts to get this app to work, it seems to finally be working. ---- This app doesn't work. After logging into my account, it then asks to set up a PIN and after entering the first time it asks for you to confirm your new PIN and then it just freezes up every time and does nothing, have tried multiple times and still the same issue. Pretty annoying that they have sent out an email to announce that you can now use a digital licence and the app doesn't even work!

    What a waste of the last 3 days of continually trying to set up my licence with this app. I have set up a pin, fingerprint access and the amount of times I have put in my surname, licence number and other required number to no avail. It continually asks me to log in, when I have just logged in and when I do get through to entering my details, it just goes into a checking mode, which never comes back with any further details. Great idea, that fails with delivery. Poor form by the NSW government.

    What's going on? This app used to be very useful with everything in one place, then after the last update they stripped out 90% of things and now just redirects the website for what you want. I thought I just couldn't find things after they did an uldate which can happen with apps, but nope, they actually did strip out most things!

    Don't know if this app works. Have tried, over several hours, to install. Google store tells me "installed". Every time I try again message is "Service NSW will be installed on your device soon." Obviously their definition of "soon" is not the same as mine. Finally got it installed and can't use it because I don't have a Google account. Tried my wife's account (we share it anyway) and it loaded her license. Why is Service NSW forcing us to use google? are they getting a kickback? Any way to get my license onto the same phone? We share that too. Jeff

    Previous version was half decent. New update renders it almost useless ... rather atrocious. Why have so many previous options been taken away ? Online rego payment, checking demerit points, notice of disposal, etc. This app has been totally dumbed down. Don't bother using it, just go directly to the RMS website.

    It's a good app but hard to use. the Fine section is confusing. It shows a fine without mentioning a due date! I haven't even received a bill after 2 months. Another issue is when you click on request review for the fine, it again asked you for details even though they already exist in the app and there is no way to copy them.

    If you already have a Service NSW account, the login and set up process is fantastic. I literally just downloaded the app, logged in and all my details, including my Digital Licence was linked. I didn't need to enter or link my Licence, it appear automatically in the app. The whole process took less than 1 minute, very surprised. If you don't have an existing Service NSW account, I can see where the struggles and additional set up is required which will take longer.

    The Service NSW App is very difficult to navigate and it's certainly not 'user friendly'! The Digital Driver Licence (DDL) appears in a large box on the top of the main page when you log in to Service NSW and it's not something that you want to see every time you log in. It needs to be under a heading (i.e.) like registrations. I can't even find my Boat Licence on Service NSW anymore, it's simply disappeared! Everything was great before i downloaded the DDL now it's just a very frustrating App!!

    Says my device is using non-standard software and I can't log in due to this. I have done the checks it reccomeneded on the play store and that all says it's certified. I got the app ages ago (I've had the same phone for 3+ years) and it used to work. Don't know what updates they've done cause this is bull that it wont work/let me log in. I have an oppo phone.

    I write apps as part of my job and I would be embarrassed if I wrote this. All this app does is palm you off to the website where you need to login over and over again. Writing APIs for your mobile app isn't that hard, bring all the functionality into the app and only palm off the hard stuff, but at least make the authentication seamless

    Very limited unless you live in the drivers license trial zones or have a boat license for example. Surprising lack of functionality given how useful the physical stores and webiste are. Even checking demerit points (only function other than license) does not provide any additional information such as offense. The name of the app might be a problem when setting expectations, perhaps License NSW would be a better option.

    Got the email about digital licences. Go to app, attempt to log in, tells me that I have a "non-standard......". Follow the links, check the play protect status ("Device is certified"). Uninstall the Service NSW app and reinstalled it. Attempted to log in again, same story. Oppo R9S. Up to date. Something broke.

    Same experience as some others. Says installed but App 'not installed/available.' My ServiceNSW account creation originally was very problematic a year ago. Very circular and prone to error. Have a Samsung S9. Maybe those who report instant access recently to app have different tech. Will try again in a few hours. Till then ... rated low and will review when accessible.

    This app is useless, it DOES NOT work on the latest Android for my Galaxy S8? WHY??? It says, that the OP on my phone has been modified etc and its not compatible? It worked before with v4.3 but with v7 Nougat and v8 Oreo it does not work, tried to uninstall and reinstall it, numerous times and it still dosent work. This is a useless app, typical of Services NSW as this problem has been apparent for at least 1 year!

    I was experiencing the same issues as alot on here with putting in all the information and it just never loading and retrying regularly. Decided to delete the app and re-download it and it has now worked. Annoying that it doesn't always work right away but I'd recommend trying that. Now since my driver's licence is linked I have tried to link my fishing and b PWC licence several times and that is now telling me my info is wrong. This app needs some serious work!

    Cant log in keeps crashing. Service nsw has stopped. Last update 24th Jan. App still crashes after entering pin code. Service NSW , you need to find more experienced app developers. Update 18th Feb. app still not working. Currently running note 3 with android 5 this is the last operating system for this phone and im happy with it so im not going to upgrade just because you cant get the app to work on android 5. Its a simple app that should work accros all platforms.

There is a message basically say my email is invalid. But this is my only email account and it works on RMS Web version and i have been using this for years. Tried function to recover my email via text message. A text i received reveiled exactly the email i am using which wad initially being denied for access.This doesn't make sense to me.Uninstalled

    app used to be good but now seems broken. cant even log in. upgraded phone and need to re sign in using email and PW which it doesnt recognise. tried using forgot PW link but cant access their server due to it not having any certificates to authenticate so it blocks me. reinsalled app hoping it would provide certificates and still same issue. if I could log in somehow I may upgrade the app rating but for now, dont bother.

    OK, I decided to see what all the fuss was about after the news announcements, so I installed the Service NSW app from Google Play. The newest reviews are pretty scathing, but I persisted. It installed. I ran it. It asked me to sign into my ServiceNSW account. I had to look that up because I hadn't needed to deal with it since paying my rego in April. It asked me to set a four digit pin and whether I wanted to use my fingerprint to unlock the app. YOU ARE NOT TAKING MY CHILD'S FINGERPRINT! So I said yes. I got in and the first thing that appeared was "Get my Digital Driver's Licence". A few seconds later, I had it! I also had a link to instantly see all my traffic fines and demerits (none for both of course) as well as my car rego details. And I got to see my digital licence. It's actually very clear and large (on my big phone), and the background waratah (or is it a lotus flower?) takes a little while to appear and changes colour occasionally. The QR code also pops up. If you refresh the screen by pulling down on it, the page reloads and you get a different QR code. When someone wants to verify your licence, they use the same Service NSW app and they choose to option to check a digital driver's licence. They scan your QR code with their app and it "briefly" displays your name and whether you are underage or not, so it doesn't show your D.O.B. or your address, which is good. All in all, I think it's a big improvement on the plastic one. Well done Gladys!

    Stuck on checking your account. I tried to link licence to serviceNSW via web site instead. Got an error that no phone number or mobile was linked to licence and that I needed to phone them as it could not be fixed online. Did this and issue was sorted out and could continue with app setup. This was with version 4.0.0

    Makes new "easy to use" digital car licences and says that it will always be available within the app. Open my app to show people "fancy" new licence, get the prompt "too many people loading there licences'"... what a terrible excuse, what happens if this is when an officer pulls you over, or in line at a pub. The worst. Still didn't work after an hour of trying. Fix it or don't make promises you can't keep!

    ** UPDATE ** Continues to falsely detect that my Android 8 phone is modified and thus unable to sign in rendering the app useless. Google pay verified my phone and apps as being OK. Banking apps allow me to use full services! I do have a ROM Manager installed (Magisk) which is possible without rooting, it's a very useful app in many why instruct me to uninstall it just to access your thank you! Your app is just a waste of storage space.

    The app won't let me in because it thinks it's been rooted (jailbroken) my phone is stock and has never been rooted, bootloader been unlocked or even a custom ROM installed. Please fix this bug as I'm sure many others while looking through the reviews are experiencing the same thing.

Keeps going to google play which recognises that it has been updated, but when you click open, it goes back to the screen thar tells you to update.     Please add the feature for adding and viewing car licence details without being in the current digital licence trial zone. This feature should be implemented as it was a feature in the past versions. I will give a zero star rating if I could. However Google require a minimum of 1 star.
