NTW’s Self Help app gives you access to the full range of 23 mental health self-help guides. These guides, three of which have been commended at the British Medical Association Patient Information Award, have been written by NHS clinical psychologists with contributions from service users and healthcare staff. Covering common mental health issues like abuse, alcohol, anxiety, bereavement, anger, depression, domestic violence, eating disorders, health anxiety, hearing voices, panic to anger, domestic violence, obsessions and compulsions, panic, post traumatic stress, postnatal depression, self harm, shyness and social anxiety, sleeping problems and stress. Our guides contain useful tips and hints as well as self-help techniques. Each guide has an introductory video as well as a choice of male and female recorded audio versions available to stream. Guides can also be downloaded free of charge for offline reading. A PDF viewer is required to read the guides.

If I could have given it zero stars I would. I don't see how this would be useful to most people it's being recommended too. Maybe if you've never seen a doctor about your problem or have no understanding... but it's all very basic and condescending. Plus the app doesn't load the leaflets half the time. Absolutely a waste of time.

Previous issue have been fixed now. I know the information contained in these leaflets to be amazing. This is an awesome, helpful app for those struggling with the issues contained within the files.

Not great keep kicking me off doesn't load videos. Very slow but the contents us helpful so it's a shame the app isn't good. So there are 23 pages but you have to flick through all of them by hand every time you want a page and if it goes off you have to start all over again that's very frustrating and nit helpful when your desperately needing the help Doesn't anyone review this app it doesn't let you download the files what is the point of this app very cross you don't keep it working

Rubbish app. The PDF files are almost unreadable on a phone because the font is so tiny. The Easy Read PDFs are so abridged that they're useless. I cant believe thst NHS professionals are recommending this leaflet library to people with chronic mental health problems. It's like going to A&E with your arm hanging off and being given a sticking plaster to apply yourself. Woebot and Wysa are far better self-help apps than this.

To get working on Android you have to go into your settings and in the Self Help App settings make sure storage is on which it isn't by default when you install it. Needs a pdf reader and works fine with Adobe Acrobat.

Great app but still having issue with leaflets. Hopefully can be fixed soon. All other information is great however.

It's very a different similar issues during this particular crisis we are all under or facing at this moment but I'm learning to manage angerment issue . It's like a step by step working on certain issues with behaviour issue .

Unfortunately this app is not working on my Android phone. Couldn't really get anywhere apart from up to the 6th slide and then is always collapsed. Have had to uninstall it as not working - shame...

I can't open any of the PDF's. I noticed in some of the views this was an issue before, but it's still an issue now for me.
