App no longer connects to my Seagate drive, but I can connect from my phone's web browser. Since the app won't connect anymore, I also can't set up auto-backups for my phone. Surely this app should have better functionality than my phone's web browser.

Works from local network only..Seagate no longer supports remote access. I guess that is why they don't sell the Seagate Central anymore. They figured out to lose former loyal customers.

Cannot backup my device. Cannot see media on the NAS. Cannot find the PlexServer on the NAS. Sits at 98% of updating media index forever (at least 12 days). the hardware of the PersonalCloud works well. The software is horrible. Seagate has ZERO relevant help on the web and Tech support (apparently) doesn't actually exist.

I can no longer connect through the app to my Seagate personal cloud. Stopped working a couple weeks ago. All the services are running when I check through the PC browser. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. it says my phone is connected to an unknown SSID. It used to show the SSID of my home Wi-Fi. I do not know why it is no longer showing that, but I suspect that this is the issue of why I can no longer connect to the personal cloud.

As of June 15th 2019; it so longer works with Seagate Wireless Plus gen #1. It won't connect to the HDD at all and won't update the firmware anymore. Once Seagate discontinued their Remote Access feature, it discontinued this older HDD as well from the app. It sucks Seagate stopped making these portable streamable hard drives.

It doesn't seem to work w/ PC with a Seagate external drive, can't find "any external drive" from Android, while win10 PC can't find CellPhone from within Seagate Media (but non-SeagateMedia file access is fine). [Andr 6.1 SamsngJ-7] Other backup S/W works. Can't recommend.

Used to work fine, will no longer connect to the hdd to view my files. Just keeps saying connecting and no matter how long, it doesn't connect. I also tried through my pc and tablet, nothing connects, even tried a resetting, no change!

I bought personal cloud. I did not set up password, but the software set it up, now all pf a sudden I can't connect or reset, all my files are inaccessible. The app cant even see the cloud which I can see on the computer. Horrible.

The previous version of this app worked well on my older Samsung tablet, but the current version won't even open. It keeps stopping. Please undo whatever you did to cause this failure.
