SDR Touch allows connecting hardware SDR receivers to Android via a USB cable. Turn any mobile phone or tablet with USB host/OTG support into a portable software defined radio scanner and a spectrum analyser. Driver support exist for RTL-SDR, NeSDR, SDRplay and HackRF.

Listen and record live over-the-air FM stereo radio stations with RDS, weather reports, emergency stations, taxi traffic, airplane communications, audio of analogue TV broadcasts, HAM radio amateurs, digital broadcasts and many more! Depending on hardware used, radio frequency coverage can span from 20 MHz to 2.2 GHz. SDR Touch demodulates broadcast FM, AM, narrowband FM, upper sideband (USB) and lower sideband (LSB) signals.

The built-in RDS monitor will allow exploring the hidden digital data feed that most commercial FM radio stations broadcast. This includes the station's program type (PTY), country of broadcast (ECC), date and time (CT), unique program identifier (PI), list of alternative frequencies (AF) and advanced statistics about the digital RDS carrier signal.

SDR Touch receives live radio via external USB hardware. The app runs offline and does not require a data plan or an internet connection! Take SDR Touch anywhere and find out what hides in the radio spectrum!

In order to run SDR Touch, you will need to plug your SDR receiver into the Android device using an USB OTG cable.

My Galaxy S8+ has it working great. I have yet to try it on my tablet. But on the phone, it works great. Obviously the better the antenna, the more you hear and it loves my scanner antenna. Now to experiment with frequencies and what I can hear and to find a good portable antenna for it. Great app!

I am using this app in my car on an Android tablet. It is a decent basic app that works. I bought the key and it is worth it. There are not many Android SDR Apps. I only use it for listening to FM radio. I am hoping he will add HD Radio Support for the people in the U.S. There is a Linux HD radio Decoder so hopefully it can be done on Android.

Good on some phones but not pixel 3,. Used to work on my samsung S9 but when i switched phone to pixel 3 it kept crashing. Its a great app if your phone is powwrful enough i guess

A major downfall of the app is when you're scrolling it constantly keeps messing up the hertzs in others words when you're scrolling through it to find a channel it very often will stop while you're scrolling and you to readjust from killahertz to Hertz you have to readjust constantly

Demo times out after 60 seconds. Can't even enter a frequency through the Uber-clunky interface. How can you possibly evaluate if it's worth buying a key? In my judgment there's not a chance. How about a real demo period, like a week or something? Cripe.

IT WORKS. Using it in my new Samsung s42 with a NESDR Nano3. I wish the PC apps I've tried for using SDRs were even half as easy to setup and run.

This is a demo of a pro version. I know it takes time and effort to make software, but having it clearly stated on the play store listing is a must. Actual app was decently designed, with a waterfall plot and good signal readings, but the countdown to popup Asking to buy pro docked some points.

I have the payed version it also stops . I am very disappointed. The first half a minute is great, but it can not be enjoyed for long :( Iam waiting for some update......

One of the best apps I have installed. It got me started with a simple sdr dongle, and has led to me getting a HackRf! One thing that I would really love to see in the next update is dsd+ integration within the app so that we have thw ability to demodulate dmr, p25, nxdn, etc signals. I think that this would be a real game changer and bring the app to a completely new level. Please, please, please make this happen.

Absolute trash! I have an SDRPlay (RSP1). When I connect the SDRPlay to my phone, and start the app, it appears to be working, but the signal strength I get on this app is so much lower than what I get when running SDRUNO on my PC with the same antenna in the same location as when connected to SDRTouch. There doesn't appear to be a way to change the IF sensitivity, as there is in SDRUNO. Perhaps I'm missing something, but if that's the case, then the app is anything but intuitive.
