Scratch Pad is a free and very simple notepad / scratchpad application! Starting the app brings you to the one and only edit page! When you leave it or press the "done" button, the notes are stored in the device memory. Scratchpad Features: 1. No ads. 2. Does not require any special permissions. 3. Split screen mode and multi window mode for devices that support it. 4. The text and background color can be changed. 5. Text size can be changed. 6. Share (send, backup) the note (via for example email or sms). 7. Undo/redo function with a history of 10 changes. Note: To keep the permissions list as short as possible, there is no backup function. I had basically the same app that I used for years until today, when I updated to Pie and opened the app and was told that it wasn't supported and may not work. *panic* then I find this one and it seems like the same app. Whew! I couldn't live without this. I open it and it's ready for my note. So grateful to have found this...

Quick and simple great for making note of a thought for action later

Great and simple app to use! But, only has one continous page to use. Meaning, can not create separate notes like a grocery list, gardening list, project build list... separate scratch pad pages to be save, recalled or updated as needed.

You can't paste !!?? I usually start with a message in another app, then want to bring it to a larger text window to compose (instead of the pokey little window [and often buggy on my Samsung Note ..Facebook for example]), then copy and paste it back

Exactly what it says on the tin. Scratch Pad is a drop-dead simple place to put quick notes without having to fuss with different files. Just what I've been looking for!
