From the developers of Deep Town, Sandship is a factory management game set in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi universe. You control the last remaining sandship: a gigantic, artificially intelligent mega-factory, which roams across the endless deserts of a far-away planet. Noranti One was a highly advanced civilization. After an accident forced your sandship into hibernation, it awoke in a world of ruins. Join us on a journey to rediscover forgotten technologies, forge a better tomorrow through crafting and trade, and fight a vicious cult hellbent on your destruction. Unlock the secrets of this cryptic land onboard your incredible sandship.

Design futuristic factories from the ground up in this free to play adventure. Place devices like synthesizers, chemical mixers, and ice guns in your sandship factory. The more devices you have, the greater your automated productivity. Connect those devices with conveyor belts to craft a wide variety of materials, from copper wires and combustion engines to ancient technology utilizing the mythic power of the overwell. Upgrade your sandship and add bigger factories to get the space you’ll need to produce more complex items. Trade the incredible stuff you make to earn credits, XP and get old crates filled with scientific research from the distant past. This ancient knowledge gives your sandship new abilities, becoming stronger, smarter, and more powerful than she’s been in a long, long time.

Your engineering mentor is Harvey, a tenacious one-eyed cyborg who needs your help to reconnect with his past. Harvey will show you the ropes of sandship engineering as you build and maintain more complex factories on a desert journey. Are you ready to voyage through a mysterious alien desert with many obstacles in your path? The planet is inhabited by an unusual assortment of robots and aliens. Some are friendly and astounded by your sandship. Others are hostile and want to see your sandship destroyed, but you’re not sure why. Complete quests to meet new characters, uncover ancient civilizations, hear campfire stories and learn how this once industrious world crumbled in the distant past.

There’s so much to discover on-board a sandship. Solve factory floor puzzles, then create your own to share with other players. Get creative in the sandbox to try out new setups without using any resources. Build an enigmatic underwell to mine precious resources, but be prepared to defend against hordes of extraterrestrial enemies to collect them. New features and places to explore are added continuously. The universe of Sandship is constantly expanding.

Honestly it's a very satisfying game. You are not pushed with ads or to buy. I hope it stays this way. This is the type of games and developers I'd support. If not to buy a few boosters then I'd invite my family to play it. Don't turn it into a social game. I mean like send a invite get a 10min booster or something. I would like to see this game either get a second or expansions. When I mean satisfying, I mean it. The ambient sound does snap and cracks when combined with the music. Music 10/10!

  2. Brian M-avatar

It's a beautiful game, great gameplay, great concept, excellent crafting. However everything that they did that is good, it's completely destroyed by in app purchases. I was playing for less than an hour and a half, when I ran into my first roadblock. Now a few more hours in, I have to spend at least five bucks to continue playing due to constant waits, coin blockages. I would absolutely love to purchase this game as a full game and not one you have to constantly feed real money to.

  3. Alexis Mendez-avatar

This game is pretty good. As production games go this one really stands out. Too bad about the bugs. There's a lot of them: freezes, failed text (it says null) and some issues with screen transition. There are also things not properly explained. Edit: thanks for the answer. Please do something about the clock bug, it makes the game unplayable. I'll leave it at 3 stars for what the game could be.

  4. Zeruel-avatar

The game is really good and I like it, but it needs some fixing. Sometimes it freezes when I go collect crates from contracts and it'll outright crash when I rotate something in my second building. It'll say "Error: rotate modifier not enabled" before crashing. I really hope this can be resolved. I don't want my playing experience interrupted. Like I said, I really like this game.

  5. Peter Korinek-avatar

First of all, as a fan of factorio, I really like this game. However I have some suggestions/bug reports. When you place a factory from the stash usually it's turned on, but it doesn't produce anything. Building a factory from a blueprint also makes the factory unable to function. The problem is probably with the synthesisers, replacing them with new ones fixes the factory. Also i would love to have the option to give conditions to factories. "only turn on if in transit steel is less then 100"

  6. Keavin Mutuc-avatar

Another game that has fallen victim to the paid time-wall business model. I would have happily paid once for a quality game (which this game is almost), but constantly having to wait real-life hours for research and deliveries is the antithesis to what a factory is about: speed and efficiency. I honestly love the game, but the business model is getting in the way. So much for a game "Engineered for Fun."

Great game so far. Looking forward to getting farther into it. It's not always clear how to perform certain tasks, however. Two examples: getting back to the menu to build a micro factory if you built a large factory first or how to pull up your manufactured items easy back at the beginning. A help area where you can revisit this information or a diagram explaining what each sexton does would be great. Overall, though, really awesome job. You can tell the dev's put serious effort into this.

  8. Christine Tan-avatar

One hour in, this is exactly what I was looking for in a game! The controls aren't fiddly like other factory building games and it looks really nice, plus there's an interesting progression outside of the factory. It would be useful to have the ability to rotate an entire selection or flip it! There are a couple of issues but the devs are already addressing it as seen in the reply here and it's also mentioned on their discord. They also seem attentive to the reviews on here and reply to a lot of them which is shows a lot of care goes into this game! There are in-app purchases but tbh I barely noticed them because this game doesn't force them upon you and I haven't felt the need to buy anything (which makes me want to put money towards this game even more!). Coins are easy to make if you're smart with your factory so you never have to buy any in-app purchases in order to progress. My last suggestion would be some sort of multiplayer aspect (not just pvp, but also coop - I'd love to be able to work with my friends to build something)

  9. Coleton Bruno-avatar

3RD REVIEW: I'm level 7. So far really enjoying the game. Really close to being a 5 star review, but the biggest issue is only being able to do 1 contract at a time, money becomes an issue because you can't make it fast enough, unless you're constantly doing puzzles. Another issue/BUG is when trying to look at resources I have/need it tends to pick up an item and scroll at the same time so it's always thinking I want to move the item. Other than that, game is super fun.

  10. Jay Kings-avatar

Sorry, I take back all I said. The game is great. Feel as though it is just as good as your previous success: Deep Town Mining Factory. It may even be better. Thank you for fixing my issues and those of other people. Keep up your excellent work! Only one problem though: the game is just too laggy and there are a ton of sound glitches. Please fix so I can continue to play. Thanks.

  11. Raul Maldonado-avatar

REALLY well made idle game, with actual factory puzzle/logistics aspects like in Factorio! Fantastic music, and beautiful art and animations. I have played for about 2 hours and it's been really fun and exciting. The story too is well presented and interesting. Would definitely like a way to rotate a selection of parts as a whole, but so far it's small enough area and easy enough to remake things in different orientations. 5/7 game for sure! Can't wait to play more and see what else there is!

I have been a huge fan of the previous Rockbite game for years and was very happy to see the new game release. While having still having some small performance issues it is very engaging and entertaining to play. While some progressions take a bit of time to unlock, there is a great amount of things to explore in the meantime. I am looking forward to seeing more of this game and hope they give it the same continued support and attention they gave their previous releases.

  13. builder boy-avatar

The game clearly has time put into it, there are rough spots but it's to be expected. The puzzle building is a pretty interesting feature as it gets you to think about the problem in certain ways. you can do puzzles other people post and post your own. You get rewarded for solving the puzzle and not punished for mistakes so it's a great motivator and great to pass the time waiting for upgrades to buildings or stuff to be made, I can't wait to see where they go with future chapters

  14. Rossen Ruzhev-avatar

I love this game, I love its art style, story, gameplay, everything. But I have some problems with it. Every time my screen locks/turns off/minimise the game with the game still running it crashes. And it's not a fast loading game so it gets really anoying. Second problem: the game gets really laggy in the first day or so from all of the plates and conveyer belts The problems will get fixed, I am sure of it. And an idea I have - at some point get the ability to do >1 contract at a time. ♡You

  15. Matt Angelo-avatar

The factory must grow. This game is very similar to a popular PC game. And it's amazing. I haven't experienced the microtransaction based time gates others have said, but you have to assume a mobile port of factorio can't really be ran on a phone for hours at a time. Your phone would overheat and blow up, and the battery would do quickly. Lol. So they have to put content in somewhere else

  16. Rodrigo Manzan-avatar

It's been a while since I started looking for a game that is not pay to win and doesn't devastate the gameplay experience by abusively advertising. This game (so far) isn't anything like that. Congratulations. There is a minor bug where the game don't let me move machinery to the first row, it only let me buy new ones and place it there. Congratulations and thanks for making me believe on mobile phone games industry again.

Game could be great if it didn't take so long to do things... And if the recycling would work offline & if your inventory was full. As it is by the time you get to level 5 you are limited to 10 minutes of play every 4 hours. -- RESPONSE: That sounds like a bug with the transporters and the recyclers -- it shouldn't cause everything to be shut down, it should just cause them to be less efficient.

  18. jps6688-avatar

Really wanted to like this game. The basic factory setup is very good taking the best ideas from Factoria and simplifying. There are a few bugs, but overall it works well. The problem in the game is that it does not utilize the f2p model well. While your factory can produce resources fairly quickly, the only thing to dobis complete requests that require a fixed time limit which you have to wait for before you can do anything else. This turns what is a stellar idea into a "waiting simulator"

  19. Andrew cassell-avatar

This game on the surface very simple its a resource porduction game. That being said it has more depth than just an idle game there is much more going on. Other than some minor glitches that cause it to crash, which is not a major problem becasue the game keeps track of everything very well. This game is perfect. As well the lack of adds as a major focus is really great.

  20. Kurap Cat-avatar

This is a great game. I really love it so far. But theres some bugs i found like when i press vol+/- it registered as back button. And the editing mode is kinda wonky. I have few suggestions. Firstly, we should be able to tap buildings and place it instead of long tap/drag. Secondly, add copy layout and clear all building. This game will do well, keep up the great work :)

  21. Murtons-avatar

I am a huge fan of Deep Town and am not disappointed by this. The way that it also become a puzzle game when having to figure out the correct order of machines makes it very unique. I do not know if Deep Town is in the same universe as Sandship but I like to think it does. The only problems I have with the game are typos, crashing, and error that came up saying I did not have enough resources to complete a quest causing it to crash and not being able to change my name. Keep up the great work!

Played for about a day. Had multiple crashes but nothing too bad. Then got an error and the app won't start back up. It's stuck at 100% on the loading screen. Tried everything even uninstalling and reinstalling. Overall great game, excited to play more when you fix it. I'll edit my review to 5 stars when fixed because it has been really fun.

  23. karl vdk-avatar

This scratches the factorio itch in pocket form. I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes these types of games. I would go so far as to say the art style is superior to factorio. Well done to the developers, a mobile game to be proud of, which can sometimes be hard to find in the waves of rubbish that appear in the app store. A big thumbs up from me.

Do not recommend. Brilliant concept, gameplay, and art style marred by time/item gating encouraging microtransactions. There's a lovely polished factory game under the surface, and I'd definitely pay a premium price. As is, I can't recommend this unless you don't mind waiting several hours between sessions, or you have deep pockets and don't have an addictive personality. Hope to see a premium option, would definitely try premium games by this dev.

  25. Bentlysk-avatar

At first I didn't think this game would be fun to play, but I found that as I started progressing the storyline became more interesting and the ways to produce things became harder and harder making the game more enjoyable. Only nitpicks I have are that some of the dialogue isn't finished and the GUI isn't very intuitive and I had trouble finding things like buildings for a while. -dialogue fixed

  26. Kolano Pigmeja-avatar

on the missing resources pop up there is a gray space looking like it was designed to contain more detailed info. Sometimes there are black squares instead of letters, for example when not having enough stuff to upgrade a sandship. About being online all the time: I understand now, my wifi randomly disconnects for a moment recently. I have found several other issues, I'm screenshotting every single one of them and try to send some kind of message about it in near future, if it's possible.

  27. Max Yang-avatar

This game had a lot of potential. The constant crashing made the game suck a lot. The game doesn't calculate the clog ups of designs forcing the player to create designs a lot more efficient. This might sound good but it is far more annoying than good as resources are expended more than they should be. There are other factory like games far better than this one.

  28. John Cornelius-avatar

I really like this building experience. Something about it feels calm and soothing. However, the only thing that keeps me from giving this a 5-star rating is the microtransactions. I would much rather, given the detail that was put into this game, pay for a "full version" void of these in-game payments, even if they're optional.

  29. Seongjae Lee-avatar

Many essential informations not given. Bugs. The way they handle progress speed and method is just kinda bad. Control is pretty bad. Overall doesn't match expactations, but it's better than practically any other mobile game, so. If you want the best factory making game, turn on your computer. If you want what probably is the best factory making MOBILe game, this is it.

  30. JDeaco-avatar

New: the customer service of your team is very good at the moment, I am not having any of that issue anymore and the game is running smoother overall, however there is still a few bugs but I know that they are hard to iron out. Excellent game though Old: It is a good game with a decent idea however it is very glitchy such as it works for 5-10 mins then crashes, when reloading game it constantly crashes on loading screen saying "something went wrong we are trying to fix it" then closes the game.

  31. Ameer Hayder-avatar

I have been playing Deep Town for 3 months. I find your games as brilliant as it gets and the graphics are excellently made with very nice visuals. Yet this game has surprised me as never before on the android platform. After playing this game for 3 hours, it exceeded my expectations, highly recommend since their games don't have the forced extremely annoying ads. Please keep up the good work.

  32. Alex Wingender-avatar

After one day, the game becomes a timer fest. The game's design is such to only push micro transactions. The fun part is over quickly when needing to open loot crates and hitting timer walls. The developers claim it is to keep the game fair. How? Why not just let everyone progress equally, or at their own rate. Its a single player game. Make content, not timers. The game needs a method to just play continuously or reach larger goals.

  33. Mark Robonen-avatar

Is the game perfect? No. There are some bugs, the stability could use some improvements, etc. Do I like it? Absolutely. The concept, the art, the atmosphere are truly amazing, and I am certain that I will play the hell out of this game. Yes, some things need to be changed/fixed, but I am certain that they will be, that the game will evolve and improve. And so, 5 stars, hoping for the game's future glory.

  34. Kevin West-avatar

I find myself giving less and less 5 star reviews, but this is one of the few games that I genuinely enjoy and recommend. Essentially, you run a factory. It is entirely up to you how you want to design it, and I find myself removing everything to discover new or creative ways to maximize productivity. It may require patience at first, and there is a lot of trial and error, but that is kind of the point. The more you play, the more proficient you become. Give it a shot!

Absolutely loving it so far. There are a few server issues here and there so I wish I could send crash reports. With the art style and intricacy of the game, I feel it is unfair for it to be free given the effort put in. I have always wanted to play these factory sims and now I get a nice first impression. Thank you to those at Rockbite.

I'm loving this game so far! A great work in progress, but getting a few bugs with the belts not connecting and currently crashing my game. Also having general issues where the production line maths don't seem to add up so I cannot make my machines perfectly efficient. It comes to quite a sudden stop in terms of pacing forcing the use of gems, if there were some way to grind for these that would be amazing. (Edit: also a way to alter the amount of resources spawned would be amazing)

  37. brian haas-avatar

Might be a great game. Hard to tell. Every time I try to change something in the factory it crashes to desktop. That is whole game right build stuff? Should be early access or beta not ready for players. Spend more time logging back in then playing. Got through the tutorial finally but took half a day for a few minutes of actual game play. Graphics are fine, music is okay but make it stable already!!

So the concept, story (thus far) and gameplay are all awesome. I'm not too far in, but on that front, no notes. However, there are some strange issues with internet connection that nearly lost me. Namely the fact that when you lose internet, the game crashes out with an esoteric "https error" message and no further explanation, as well as an earlier dialogue bug with the "Jaja" asking for Iron. All his dialogue comes back as "NULL" The game itself is really good, but the code needs better QA.

  39. Ngoc Nguyen-avatar

The graphic and sound is awesome. However the gameplay experience sometime is not smooth. I can not rotate the Splitter by tapping on it (need to rotate with 2 fingers). And in Arranging Mode, please create an "Undo" button. Sometimes I accidentally make mistakes and need to re-arrange things one by one again and it's frustrating. And the app crashes with errors like "the device is not available" which I don't understand. Using Realme Note 3.

  40. Thane K-avatar

played for maybe six hours or so, brings a decent amount of fun. however the gold system is handled terribly early game (at least in my experience); i made the mistake of not paying attention to my gold supply (it throws just about an endless supply at you right from the start, so not a difficult mistake), and the only (!!tedious!!) way to recover enough to get past the one remaining quest before the next stage quite outweighs the fun this game brings.

  41. Eric Clay-avatar

Good game ruined by bugs and excessive time gates. In the first area there's a side quest to talk to someone, but the text is always NULL and the quest appears to be broken. Every time you do anything (jobs, research, etc) you have to wait, or spend currency. Your item storage fills up way too quickly. Overall neat concept ruined by bugs and extremely poor design choices with the time gates (which you can spend real money to bypass). Don't spend any money on this game, go get Factorio instead.

  42. ???-avatar

The story is really good and the factory element is fun and simple and you don't get ads every ten seconds i like it and recommend playing it. The timers are very annoying and only get longer i would rather have higher resource demands and very expensive upgrades for the machines so it's still better to make efficient factories. There's is way too much space at least in the beginning haven't played that much yet. The game also reloads every time you exit the game for two seconds. Good game.

  43. Ian Thomas-avatar

Would have preferred to pay 10 Eur and have no wait times. Nice idea. I don't like the always online feature though, let's see how it goes. Seems to be aimed at people who dump money into games through IAPs. edit: I'm enjoying it so far however I've found countless bugs, will report them, what's the main way to do this?

  44. Reziah Taylor-avatar

It punishes you for progression (short version) 50k space for everything. That means the more items, the less space per item. That's bad game design. Update: Developer replied that they're working on it. That's great, they actually care about their game and that's worth something. If they fix the issue I'll update the review, but I don't change grades on promises, only deliveries.

  45. James Kivenko-avatar

Oh boy! Been waiting for this game for a while, and it is great! (so far). I've only been playing a day but it's a smooth introduction to the factory building genre (think factorio, but optimized for mobile). It has a lot of unique content to offer though, like a story and tons of cool features and machines.

  46. FlintVockz-avatar

A very well made game. I've wishlished this on my account for many months waiting for it. A very nice game although audio gets abit weird when there are too many items in the screen, making the audio lag (I think) but overall it's a very fun game that I recommend to other people. Thanks for entertaining me and hope you keep doing what ya do!

This Game Is Ameazing. I love the art style. The gameplay is really fun. The story is Paw-Some. And I just finished the first chapter and I like the ideea of the credits, its not just white text on a background. And well. The only problem I had so far was a little crashing. Something like machine x:(number) y:(number) not existing. And some text beeing just black rectangles. Bat the loading screen was fast so didn't mind. And I totaly forgot thet I wanted to pay this. Good thing for notification

After watching this game grow, to playing at Pax East. I waited for this game for so long, in hopes to enjoy it as much as I did. However the game is unplayable. The game will not even load past the beginning loading screen. Keeps telling me action failed. As a steamer, there's no way i can play this game at this current time

  49. Dan Stock-avatar

Intriguing so far, but needs a lot of work yet to be as polished a game as its graphics are (and as its predecessor, Deep Town, is). It is still a relatively early release but is in desperate need of several things: 1. better help/wiki info to explain how various game aspects function; 2. game stability (far too many HTTP error/restart messages) 3. more backstory! The devs have a potential winner here - it just needs more attention.

  50. john hibbs-avatar

I like the game as a machine factory, but I hate that I can't do anything for the past week because I'm waiting on a rare part to fall out of the random fetch quests. The factory part is cool. The time gating makes me hate this game. Most of my recent "playtime" is opening the app, completing the fetxh quest starting a new one and closing the app. This not a game.

  51. Ken Mattenlord-avatar

Since my issue has been fixed. I gotta improve my review. So they fixed it with the updates and they compensated me with the damage. Its completely understandable for me if the game has many lapses and bugs. Thats the community's job to help the devs. The controls and some gameplays maybe needs improvements definitely. But other than that, i love it. Keep up the good work guys!

  52. Patrick Dean-avatar

Like most I had a bad experience the first couple days due to service issues. Since then the game has run very well and is fun to play. Having to wait on timers kind of sucks but the game is very high quality for being free. The developers have had a lot of communication regarding issues and are accepting of input and ideas which is great. I think this game is going to be awesome in the long run and I'll stick around to see how it develops!

  53. jkmerlin-avatar

I have some issues scrolling through the item drawers instead of grabbing objects and vise versa, but my main issue is having to close and open the game every time I leave it in the background or even just when I lock my phone for more than a minute (and sometimes less). I'll rerate when this gets fixed; there are a lot of stalling tactics but overall I enjoy the game.

  54. Austin Rasnake-avatar

Game doesn't use an energy system and gives a really healthy balance of idle and management style game. Game also has a really easy upgrade/research system. The quest in the game really make progress feel frequent. Love the little quest that pop up in the world during the game. Not very far into it, but so far I am loving everything about it.

  55. Emi R-avatar

Overall a great design held back by time gating. (+) Factory buildings! Multiple ways to layout and design the factory. Stellar graphics. Puzzles and test labs to prototype and learn with. (-) Extensive time gating. After about two hours, I ran into multi hour timers to proceed. I have the materials, I simply have to wait. Please shorten the turn in timers, or simply ask for massively more materials instead. It would serve as a time gate, but rewards us for good design and planning.

  56. Haris Sarajlic-avatar

5 Stars. Reminds me a lot of Factorio and I love it. The only issue I see is that the game is pretty much linear with the leveling system. Doing contracts gives you so much exp that you need about a 100 to level up which means that you only level as you reasearch stuff. I was amazed by the intro to the game and the music, the artstyle. 10/10 for both. Gameplay is fast till you reach lv 4, thats where it slows down and becomes an idle game of farming resources and contracts. Still, well done devs

  57. Matthew G-avatar

The game is progressive but fun, i found it slightly repetitive and the controls are a bit funky but overall i would reccomend to people who like puzzle and building games with a bit of creativity and management in between. It can at times get a bit boring as it's not that interactive once you have figured out the production side. I give 4 stars, great game.

I love it but having to wait so long or to pay for credits to speed up the game is overly harsh. Otherwise sound game. I know i wont play it for long purely because of the constant time restraints. It would be good it you could submit multiple contracts at the same time & potentially if you could research multiple things at the same time. The game is slow when you have the money or resources 2 take an action but have to wait an hour, 2 wait another hour, only then be able 2 play the next part.

  59. Urist McDwarf-avatar

It could be a great game. Unfortunately it isn't. To make progress you need credits, to get credits you need to buy boosters or wait days irl time for idle missions to complete. And even with booster the game is a chore to progress. If you expecting Mindustry or Factorio you will be disappointed. Art, story and music are greath though. Shame they are wasted on such bad gameplay. It could be a really great game if devs decided to make it a game instead of mobile cash mill.

  60. Jan Marek-avatar

Pretty fun to build all the assembly lines, but it has some connectivity issues. Usually once in a 20-30 minutes I get some http error that kills the app, and sets me back around 4 minutes in progress. Definitely something that needs fixing. Response edit: had it happen both on wifi and when just using mobile data, and in both cases losing the connection for a few seconds is possible. I don't think a game for a smartphone should react by completely shutting down every time that happens though..

  61. Carlos R.-avatar

First I rated 5 because the first couple of hours are amazing. After a day the game degrades into a waiting game. This game could be groundbraking but the constant waiting kills it completely. wait 3 hours to unlock something which is required the start the developement of a 4 hour thing which is required for the mission. In this time you can't do anything because of the Warehouse/Money cap. Which means you can't grind for the next missions because these will fill up in an hour. Therefore the game now is not a game anymore. Here is how i play after 2 days: start a 2-3 hours contract and a 3-4 hours Research. i play other games and i come back to the game do some modification in the factory (max 5 minutes) and repeat. This is not a game unfortunately. The story is amazing the characters are cute the world is brilliant. BUT THERE IS NO GAMEPLAY!!!!! Really sad! I hope the DEVS come up with something because this is not good in this way. For example: Paralell developement: why can't we start a 3-4 different contract? a 4 hours for epic, 3 hours for rare and 10-20 minutes normal? In this 10-20 minutes you can play missions (dev created not the stupid puzzles) or create a sandbox factory which not doing anything just you can play and try out new things without spending your resources. Also you can lower the waiting times. Why on earth do you think it's a good idea to wait 4 hours+ for something while you CANT do anything? (to spend of course) but good games offers EXTRA for money not progress. For example "useless" skins for your sandship. Or decor items. Which are useless but eyecandy. A lot of great games operates these ways and look... they are working business models. Please devs...add more game to your game because this one is a great project but currently lack a lot of things.

@Graphics: Nice looking game with a constant level of quality on all artwork. @Controls: Really well done. After a few minutes, placement of conveyor belts and machines is quite fast and easy. @Gameplay: I really like the concept despite the typical timers of a mobile game. Instead of artificially bloating playtime, I would rather play a demo and then pay for the full game with a different research system (see Factorio and others). EDIT: Dev response cleared up my complaints about errors.

Worth paying for. I've played a few of these assembly line/factory type games, because these games interest me, but unfortunately a majority of the time thats all there is. The developers take that idea and add so much more to it. What the main gameplay is in most of these is just a piece of this game. I was gonna complain about contract times until I found the puzzle building, a great concept able to capture your time and show you whats possible while waiting for shorter contracts if need be.

  64. Newtomic-avatar

Edit2: Another Factorio like game, a very good one but ultimately ruined by the artificial waiting to "comply" with the crazy F2P model I play it for a bit and if there was an option to just buy the game for the right price I even might buy it, but like what it is right now noup, the waiting gets completely absurd, could be a good game as it is... uninstall. Oh and it's Always-Online-DRM! (I don't see any ads so take that into account for my op)

  65. Namless-avatar

By far the most well done mobile game i have played in a long while. Thank you for the wonderful game, I can tell you put a lot of effort into it. The music, sound effects, art style, and story so far is really well done. There seems to be a lot of influences from factorio, so if you like factorio you will prly like this game!

  66. Norman Rericha-avatar

I think this is a great idea, and part of the game types I enjoy. For that reason, I will keep following it. Starting with 5 stars this is why I am deducting. 1 Star - for the excessive number of times I need to close the Content/Building window (does someone get paid each time that window is displayed ?) 1 Star for the bugs ... and oh boy there are lots (reset to get timers to expire, goods not counting properly, etc) 1 Star for a clunky UI - scrolling is difficult, rearranging lines is confusing, difficult to find factory issues without clicking on each building (and then closing the Content window). I realize this game is new, the plus side is that this game can do nothing but improve.

  67. Ryan Kirkland-avatar

Really well made and polished game. Yes there are paid elements but if your willing to give it some time you'll get what you need to keep progressing. A few hiccups with the servers on release but everything seems to be running real smooth now. One feature I would like to request is the ability to "copy" and "paste" a setup from one factory to another. Very addicting but also relaxing and pleasing to the eye! Kudos for some of the scientific accuracy. (Melting carbon+iron=steel). Love it!

  68. Vladimir Putin-avatar

The style is certainly not entirely new, it follows the style of games like Factorio or Satisfactory. But the game itself is solid and is certainly worth playing. Some parts could be made more clear, particularly about how exporters can only seem to export a few types at a time. The game isn't perfect yet, but I have complete faith in Rockbite studio to work out all the bugs and polish it. It is also much more of a framework in its current form, it (hopefully) will get a lot more content later.

This looks like a great game, but I wouldn't know because I can't even pass the tutorial. I was half way through the tutorial but it paused on one screen and there's an arrow pointing off screen. The game is very buggy and I still have the same problems even when I re install the game. I will change my review when this problem gets fixed.

  70. thykka-avatar

The game wouldn't start without Google Play login, progress bar stuck at 100%. The puzzle mechanics seem nice so far, but I don't think this'll be the "factorio for android" I had hopes for. The waiting/gems micropayment model kinda ruins this for me. Would've preferred a premium game. Also, the game eats a LOT of cpu, and hangs when I invoke it via the running apps list.

Substance harvester in the building shop says inside size:48×48;but when you place it is a 4×4. Hope you answer fast because this is inaccectable! You can t have more than 10 synthesizers and every time you have to buy them again!Hope it doesnt do that with other structures! 72. Chris-avatar

Really addictive and interesting game play. I like the story and aesthetic so far. My biggest issue is that some lines of dialog come out as "Null" and I don't think that is intentional since I was given an objective after the dialog and I had no idea until I checked the objectives pane. Otherwise, excellent and fun so far.

  73. Chia Yu Xuan-avatar

I like this game very much and I see it has alot of potential but good lord the bugs are plentiful. Firstly, the game will kick you out to the home screen ALOT. Secondly, some AI npc's like jaja has completely stopped working, whenever I tried to tap his speech bubble thing it just says NULL, I've tried quiting the game, refreshing the game but nothing, and there are more bugs I've yet to mention. But it's still a good game ngl but these bugs had really soiled the fun for me.

  74. Tayro-avatar

Game is great but I hope you can add more action to it since it is online game. For example: 1) You can add "creat your battle robot". By using resource you should creat battle robots to fight in arena. If your robot destroid you must build a new one with full cost if your robot got damaged you must pay 25% to repeare. 2) "Looting mood" creat fighter bots to attack and loot other players' resources. I know these sounds too much but it would be great. Goodluck

  75. Zatch Bell-avatar

Isn't as i expected, factorio was addictive and fun where u can play for hours with a goal to reach here and in sandship you have a heavy timer and IAP, you have substance limit, in-transit limit, storage limit, credit limit . So in no way this game is related to factorio, i would say it is better compared with clash of clans and the likes. Im kinda pissed that i waited so eagerly for something soo cheap. Would have definitely purchased the game if i could. Hope it comes to steam someday.

  76. Benjamin Dills-avatar

Game is good, and has great potential. The aesthetics are a lot like Deep Town, which I loved, but with more detailed gameplay. I'm assuming the developers will also keep adding more in. Please take note! Similar to Deep Town, this game borrows a lot from idle games. It's the kind of game you check in on regularly, not sit down and play for an hour. I do have a recommendation for the designers: - A way to see from the exterior view which buildings are active, and turn them on and off.

  77. Brian Roachell-avatar

Still needs alot of work. The game mechanics are interesting, but the 'Pay to Play' aspect of it is a little offputting... Be prepared to pay real money, or wait at least two hours between decent contracts. There are some fun aspects, and the graphics are better than DeepTown (which honestly isn't hard to do). Still on the fence with this one... I will say this, the Devs are super responsive to feedback and inquiries. Added a Star. 😁

  78. Leonardo-avatar

5/5 stars game! Amazingly beautiful design! With an unbelievable good game! This game is like Factorio with a good story behind it! CON: over time, it became a pay-to-win, with progressive longer waitings. I wish it had a "unlock everything" in-app purchase instead of "loot boxes", or something like watching an advertise in exchange of a few purple-crystals / time-jump item

  79. James Ritchie-avatar

I really wanted to like to like this game. However, even after the update there are still quite pervasive timers and the randomness of crate rewards really exasperates this. I would happily pay a £1- £3 to remove wait timers permanently. As it stands I won't be putting any money into this game. Furthermore, even ignoring those game design issues I have quite severe gameplay issues; http code -1 crashes, broken sound (even after update) etc. Will change review if these issues are fiixed.

  80. what Only-avatar

Enjoying the game at the moment. Found some bugs: jaja home chat strings only show Null (is that supposed to happen?) and the app crashed while turning factory off and showed error 0. The controls for moving and change directions of objects should be uniform.. It's kinda weird the way it is atm, I think. So far, enjoying the lore and ambience of the game EDIT: thx for the reply! Also, I unlocked puzzle building but i guess you guys are still developing it?

  81. Allison Blake-avatar

An overall good game, looking forward to seeing more. I would have rated it 5-stars, but the game now has a habit of restarting me to my home page whenever I try to turn an object in the small factory, so now I'm limited to only one. Half the time the app doesn't even let me in. Otherwise, yes, I'd suggest it 100%. I really like the steampunk-type vibe. I've been looking for a good sci-fi game for a long time now, and this is it.

  82. EV0LVY FPS-avatar

90% of mobile games are no where near console/PC level. But this game is actually a hidden gem. The music is beautiful, the game is fun, the story I'd actually good and the lore is incredible. The animation style is perfect and the little effects/animations in the game blend in with the music. This game is console worthy, great studio you guys/girls did a really good job. Keep it up, can't wait to see more.

Rarely do I leave reviews but this one gets my hat. Gameplay tends to get a bit hard if you don't understand the mechanics but this is pure logistics. Building factory lines takes a bit of practice. Did not encounter the bug yet for research. A little warning though offline income are limited by the size of your transport so upgrade it first! Anyways kudos to the team.

  84. Andrew C-avatar

I like the mechanics and concept but the timers/limits on everything ruins it. The storage is too small to make it an idle game, the timers (missions, research, upgrading, etc) are too long to make it a game to actively play. I don't want to agree to a 2 hour mission only to come back and see that I need 2 more of the random components that are prizes. I can tell the waits only get longer and gems don't buy anything permanent. No skill required, just money and/or patience.

  85. Sue Gossman-avatar

It displayed properly the first time I opened the game. I came back after 10 minutes or so and had to sign in again (way too long a process) and then all the input dialog areas were just dark rectangles. Tried closing the game and restarting a few times and it happened again each time. Too bad, might have been a good game.

Great game i already spending my time with it. The only draw back is when an error pops up and then crashes and then i have to wait 1 min on the loading screen again which annoys me. I hope it dosent crash the game and just waits for the connection to be back because i cant stand waiting for a min on a loading screen over and over again. If you wanna play it, go for it you wont regret it.

  87. Thomas Wills-avatar

A brilliant blend of far lone sails and factorio combined with a narrative that's tucked in there and you know you will find it sooner or later. The only small problem I have is unstable frame rates experiencing massive drops when entering and exiting buildings but that's mainly down to device performance the game is entirely playable and I am yet to find any bugs. My favourite setting for a game is exploring "what was" seeing technology once at it's peak...Rusted, broken, forgotten.

  88. Jet Lim-avatar

It's all fun and games until u try to use the blueprint function. Here's what I encountered, whenever I placed down a blueprint, conveyor doesn't connect to any other machines (smelter, splitter etc), underground conveyor doesn't link up either, even unremovable in editing, when stack a new underground on it, it instant crash the game. So all I can say is, blueprint function is extremely buggy.

The game has a lot of potential, so let's wait to see all the content coming in next updates! On the other side, the game is a bit too easy to complete (unlocking all labs researches in two weeks). I think there should be more content to entertain players, after the initial new materials it become repetitive.

Game play starts off a bit slower then I like but it picks up fats after a few minutes. The UI is a bit confusing at first and it toke me a while to find how how to buy a new factory but after that everything went smoothly. If you like factory games where you make your assembly lines more efficient then this is the game for you

I played your Deep Town, but it seemed pointless so I'm glad you added storytelling and RPG elements into this one. The UI is good and well thought out even on phone screen (albeit 6.5"). Fun game, I love the concept and though I've seen quite a fair few games like it this one implements it the best... Why only 3 stars then you may ask... Well the game has some bug-squashing to be done. The two (fatal) errors I got were: Rotation modification not enabled. When rotating a part next to a blocked(but unlockable for resources) zone. And a error when completing the second steel plate quest, the quest showed as done, I tried to claim it but got a crash, after relog I had too few plates

  94. MineEXP23-avatar

I've played my fair share of production games and this on takes fills the belt, I would say that this is the Factorio of the Google Play store, I love the level of detail for how to make certain things, like making iron plates you have to heat them up, that is something that Factorio doesn't have. I honestly didn't think it'd be worth my time, but boy was I wrong. 10/10 game. And amazing sound track.

  95. Tiny Saints-avatar

It's fun until I need to build things quicker. They only allow one slot or worker to research for new skills, upgrade your buildings, upgrade your skills. I wish they allow more than just one for everything. It's not efficient imo. Yes. You can use gems to speed up, but that's not the point.

I wish I could pay some amount to have a more streamlined game experience, without getting stuck for contracts, it really ruins the game... Maybe subscription-based service? I don't want to pay for the 12 boost because that would pressure me to play way too much all at once, I'm looking for a more long-term experience.

Sometimes numbers in the warehouse glitch out and I can't see them, also once the game didn't increase the steel in my warehouse even though my factory worked perfectly, so I restarted my game and it set my whole progress 20 minutes back and stopped my contract which was 2h and had 50 mins remaining. Also it would be nice to have your total completed contracts/your biggest number of a certain recourse saved for future contracts.

Just started but already crashed the game. Basically, I lined up four machines without belts between them, thinking it would work. The plates went into the exporter, but didn't count toward my total. Shortly after, the game crashed. EDIT: It works now. Not sure what I did to break it or what I did to fix it but it is fine now.

Very fun, lots of interesting mechanics and it reminds me of an old factorio mod (don't stop the train) that I loved. Unfortunately, it's super buggy, crashes all of the time and is a huge battery hog. I'd love to give it a 5 star review but at the moment, I can barely keep myself playing with having to restart it to try and get past a bug every few minutes. I've completed chapter 1 and the bugs have just kept coming. @developers respond to this when the game is fixed and I'll update my review!

I was very excited for this, and was following development on the blog. Factorio on Wheels on mobile. Sounds amazing. Then you get into the game. Within minutes it devolves into 'here's a timer. You can skip it with gems.' Gems are a paid currency in the game. That was in the tutorial. You are teaching the player how to play the game, and it involves premium currency? No, thank you. The game is also always online for some reason. Get disconnected for a second? Oops! Guess you have to restart the game. And start over whatever you were doing. I would have happily paid for a game like this that was not riddled with Pay to Play nonsense.
