Hello, Friend.

Ruuvi Station is an easy and fun way to use Ruuvi sensors at home and for your hobbies. The app is specifically designed to work with our open-source weatherproof RuuviTag Bluetooth sensors.

Ruuvi Station collects temperature, relative air humidity, air pressure, signal strength (RSSI) and movement data from all nearby RuuviTag devices, and displays this data in real-time. Ruuvi Station allows you to manage your RuuviTag devices, set alerts, change background photos, visualise the gathered weather information through graphs and even send your RuuviTag data to an external server.

To use the app, get RuuviTag sensors from our official website:

How does it work?

RuuviTags continuously send tiny messages over Bluetooth. One message is being sent every single second, 24/7. Battery lifetime lasts up to 3 years.

Nearby mobile phones can detect the messages and that’s why there is no need to pair the device with your phone. Nice and clean.

History logging works with the same principle. The app is able to collect and store sensor data always when it hears the live messages.

What else?

Even though the app already offers numerous possibilities to use RuuviTags, that’s not all. Ruuvi devices are 100% open-source and can be used not only by private consumers, but also by businesses, developers, students and makers.

Average temperatures could be visible in the stats but otherwise everything just works. Now I get a notification when the sauna is ready.

There seems to be something wrong with syncing long term measurments, did the firmware update back in July to the 4 tags I have and was able to sync least 24hrs of measurements points, but for the last few weeks, at least, syncing takes a couple of seconds and the measurement span is only a few minutes.

Ruuvi application requires location and internet access consent. It does not work without it. The app does not explain why it needs the access and what data Ruuvi collects and why. There is no disclosure on Ruuvi web, pre or post sale. I am RETURNING the devices for REFUND. Responding to Ruuvi comment - it contains no commitment or privacy disclosure. Ruuvi should address user privacy and device functionality publically before sale. Without it - the application consent is what matters.

Sensors are great, work perfectly! Unfortunately one must grant location services access to the app, although on two of my Samsung devices, I can connect to the sensors without granting permission. The location requirements is intrusive. The constant nagging about location permission is unwelcome. The tags are awesome though! Individual needs to weigh privacy vs functionality.

Would love to see a home screen widget that displays current data, or the current data accessable by using Tasker for creating data driven tasks.

The sensor are super unresponsive, and there is no way to get them to send refresh data on command. Some times takes me 5 to 10 minutes just to get the darn thing to update. I can't recommend this thing until that's fixed....*STAY AWAY FROM THESE*

Lacking some basic functions e.g. average readings for last 24h and similar. App is a little clunky in how you scroll through the graphs. Background reding, logging fails seemingly at random regardless of settings in the app.

Otherwise a very nice app, but sometimes goes haywire and starts recording every single message from all the nearby Ruuvi tags, eating the battery like crazy.

No GPS tracker and each time I go far away from the beacon and come back to it the app does not recognize it or perceive it. I was hoping for more...

Great app! But there is no homescreen widget available. Please add widget function to the app and it will be 5/5.
