Quick and helpful support from Abvio to get going again after a Google Maps bug affected this app (as well as 100s of other apps)

  2. guest-avatar

It is really a great app. But after after each announcement the app takes way too long to allow my music to play again. Making it unbearable to use. It has a don't interupt musiu function, but it doesn't work. It is a small thing but really anoing

I used Runmeter for 7 years on my iPhone and expected to lose all of that history when I moved to a Galaxy. Runmeter's Support team is so professional and helpful that I was completely blown away. I'm used to never hearing back when I contact an app's support, but Runmeter provided clear and concise instructions that actually worked, and all of my data came with me. I'm happy to pay the annual fee to upgrade to Elite for a product that I've personally road tested for 3000 miles. (That sounds really impressive until you divide it by 7 years!) Keep up the good work!

The elite version is the way to go with this app! I love the notifications it gives me while I'm running so I know how far I've gone or how long I've been running. It also allows me to listen to my music and still receive calls while I'm running. The design is intuitive, complete, and easy to look at. I love being able to see my path on the map. I appreciate being able to share my run with my husband so he knows where I am. Being able to keep a history of all of my runs helps me track my progress and inspires me to improve. Runmeter is fully customizable and the customer service from the developers is top notch!

Stops Tracking intermittently. I went with this program after seeing a friend use it on a walk. I thought the output it created was nicer that what i was using. However, the program i used worked flawlessly and this one kept dropping position so the data us obviously worthless. She was using a iPhone and myself an Android. I will probably ask for a refund.

A long time iOS user. I've moved to Android and while the app isn't quite as functional as the iPhone version, it's still way better than any of the overpriced options out there that go for $60 or more for a yearly premium subscription. I'm hoping they do something quick with the Gear sport watch because then it would be a ten star app!

  7. guest-avatar

I run in an area where google maps and my hunting apps have no problem tracking me via GPS. Runmeter however is basically just a stop watch because it says my GPS signal is so poor. I was trying the free version, maybe that $9.99 a month they keep shoving down my throat for the premium version would somehow boost the signal. I can guarantee I'll never find out.

  8. guest-avatar

GPS tracking is not accurate. I've a Mate 20 Pro, and the free Google Fit app tracks perfectly while this paid app tracks the same route, but about 10 meters off to the left. Pls work on your tracking. One star because I've used the iOS version and it was perfect.

This app is perfect on iOS, but the GPS is inaccurate on Android. I love Runmeter because there is no other tracking app that allows this much customization. Unfortunately, due to the GPS inaccuracy, I usually use MapMyRun instead.

  10. guest-avatar

So, I have had this app for years. It is the beat value running app and has a bucketload of features, especially the elite. Unfortunately, I have had problems recently on that i can'tget into plans, which is really annoying.

Paid version may be ok, but free version is very basic. There's no way to test sensors unless you pay subscription fee.

  12. guest-avatar

Idea and customisation ability are outstanding! You can operate a great variety of statistics parameters. And you can construct any statistics output.

  13. guest-avatar

Keeps stopping during cycles. Can't track distance or time done.

  14. guest-avatar

great tool for running and mountain biking

  18. guest-avatar

Great App! I have been running for years and used all sorts of devices and I can recommend this one. Compare it with the prices you would pay for an expensive running watch and consider the gps on you phone is probably better. I just wish I could export the the data into Garmin Connect (which you can do straight through your phone) but it registers as a course instead of a an activity. Does anyone know a work around for this?

  19. guest-avatar

Seems to be the most full featured running app out there

  20. guest-avatar

Great app with just a fraction subscribe fee compare to big name app. Very rich feature. The down side is most of the great features are available on the Elite mode, but it doesn't cost much and also get rid of the ads. Worth.

  21. guest-avatar

Liked this a whole lot better when a single one time payment got you all the features. Plenty of great free apps that offer most of the paid features this app has now gone to. Disappointing for sure. This was once the best app.

Love it on iOS but Android is very inaccurate. Bad at tracking distance and worse at tracking altitude. They keep posting updates but nothing gets fixed and not much changes. I know the phone GPS works but the app shows me way off. Please add the iOS history graphs!

  23. guest-avatar

Paid for the subscription, but the app has never shared to Facebook for friends to see. Therefore, you can't receive announcements from friends while running. Disappointed. I contacted support but they couldn't help. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy s8.

  24. guest-avatar

SO happy run meter is now on android! have used this app for years and I was so disappointed when I changed phones and lost my runmeter. Glad to have it back

Thrilled that it's on Android! Hands down the best fitness app out there.

  26. guest-avatar

Full screen pop up ads, no thanks

  27. guest-avatar

Annoying ads everywhere. Strava is better.

  28. guest-avatar

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for finally bringing this awesome app to Android! Used Runmeter and Cyclemeter for years on iPhone and was sad to see that there didn't appear to be an Android version in the works anytime soon. I eagerly waited a year and a half after ditching my iPhone for an Android phone, trying other tracking apps, being sorely disappointed. Runmeter and Cyclemeter are versatile, powerful apps that are easy to use. I love them! THANKS!!!

Can't wait to run tomorrow morning

  30. guest-avatar

My favourite running app ever (and the best)! Finally on Android! Also the best support! This app is SO comprehensive... They analyze things you never imagine!

  31. guest-avatar

My favorite Running app! Love all of the detailed stats and announcement options. Excited to have this on android!

Thought it was great at first, but then it consistently failed to track my run. Getting a decent GPS signal was virtually impossible and at the conclusion of my runs, I had apparently ran 0 miles! Ended up going back to Nike running app. Shame, because it had potential.
