WATCH OUT THIS APP WILL BREAK YOUR HEADPHONES AND EARPIECE. after I install it and applyed +6 boost, the headphones jack no longer work ( headphones gives very low audio), same goes for earpiece...

Works just as says on the tin! only needed it to quieten my main speaker for dual speaker mod on S8, instead of turning vol up on earpiece i used this to turn down gain on media speaker. If this dont work for you, dont give it 1 star, you've had a chance to test before you buy so it's your own fault ya muppets. Nice work, saved me having to edit xml files. 😬😬😬 Bought pro for Lineage 16, didn't work, Alpha rom so not blaming dev :)

I just bought the pro version, totally worth it on my Xperia XZ1 Compact, after experimenting with a headphone amp, trying to edit the mixer paths myself to no avail, nearly gave up until I found this. Turned headphone output up by 10+ and rebooted the device to FINALLY enjoy loud output, I nearly purchased another phone just because of the weak headphone output. My thanks to the developer. Bravo.

Does not work on rooted OnePlus 3 LineageOS 15.1 based on Oreo 8.1. After giving it all the permissions requested including root a "Permissions check failed!" pops up telling me I should boot in Recovery Mode. I can edit /system/vendor/etc/mixer_paths_tasha.xml via other tools like ES File Explorer. BTW the app makes a successfull backup of the xml. Please investigate. Happening with version 39 of the app

sir i've given u 5stars as i want to make sure if my microphone works properly. These are temporary starAs when ever i talk to someone over the call the person on other side all complaint about low volume, they've to increase their earpiece volume. I've to speak out loud and yell to talk. Will my purchase b worth?Will i be able to talk to other person speaking in very low volume? Please do reply. I am ready to purchase this pro version if it works for Nubia Z9Mini and boost the microphone volume.

Update v40 works on rooted Galaxy S5 klte beta LineageOS 16.0 based on Pie 9.0. After granting the permissions requested including root a "Permissions check failed!" pops up. After closing the app & restarting it, it works and pushing the Speaker slider to +10 & rebooting makes it much louder. At +20 & reboot it crackles & it's way to loud for that S5. Thanks!

DO NOT INSTALL! It actually destroyed my headphone output since it is stuck at lowest level and I have no means to rise it as the app only enables speaker control. A lame app that can ruin your phone if you rooted it and you dont have access to the rom.

It did adjust external speaker volume but simultaneously made earpiece call volume too low to even hear. Even when purchasing pro version and setting earpiece gain at 10, made no difference. Had to restore old settings to get earpiece working again.
