Please note that this app no longer works. I have a lot of money currently in the account and had no communication that is has permanently shut down. I attempted to use it and was informed that the number was not recognised. I then email costumer services who informed me that the app is "closed". I am not sure if I will get my money back. If the app is closed, why is it still up for downloads? They are still taking people's money.

It used to be a good app. But now its not worthy, suddenly they increased the price per call twice,how could they do that??. Moreover the first call we make to any mobile number connects but we can't hear them,we need to cut that and make again another call, is this a cheap trick for gaining money.Not only me my friend also facing the same situation. I don't even know whether they responds or not ??

Editing review after using this for a few months. Moving rating from 5 to 3. The Android version of the app does not have recents option while iOS one has it. Looks like Android user base is conveniently ignored. Favourites are fetched only when the app is installed. Any new favourites marked on your contacts do not appears thereafter on the app. So you are forced to search the contact every time, which is annoying. Also calling rates increased without any prior notice.

This app and the customer service sucks big time nowadays that I have to go back using Rebtel again. I recently wiped my phone clean and freshly installed Ringo but the OTP code is not showing up even after resending the request a couple of times. When contacted the customer service, they just want me to resend the request for verification OTP which is not working for me at all. Stay away from this service if you want to save your money.

Ive used many providers to call back home throughout the years and ringo is the best so far. Upfront rates. No surprises. I love to be able to dial from my phone and the ringo app automatically gives me the option to dial if it recognizes I am calling an international number. It also shows me rates and lets me use wifi calling or a local number to me that automatically connects me to my desired number without me typing anything. Best app out there!

This app amazing when you want to talk to your friends and family out of the country. This app is so convenient to and rates are way more cheap than any other calling platforms. The only trouble that I found that while you make a call using Wi-Fi you can not minimize the app and open other app which is quite frustrating. Overall the app is pretty amazing. Will definitely recommend it.

No support available. Check their Twitter and Facebook book account. You will know I am talking about. Was travelling this month and I was not able to add a local number, tried contacting them through "chat with us" , which by the way never works, contact us and even wrote to the bloke listed as CEO, who interestingly doesn't have Ringo mentioned on his profile, for reasons best known to him. Sorry for a long post. But, in summary, stay away.

I used it many times before and never had issues now suddenly I realised that I cannot call anywhere abroad anymore. I still have some money on the account but when I place the call it says "the number you are calling is not recognised", even though I know this number is active and I called it previously from this app without any trouble. Rubbish, you could at least give a warning if you are closing your services.

Awful customer service. Have used before without any problems. Now after I updated my payment information twice, they can't send me a verification code to reactivate my account and they have kept my funds. What is going on? No way to contact them over the phone. Have sent numerous emails. Nothing no response.

Reasonably good app. Ability to conduct undisturbed coversation majority times, if one may ignore occasional feed back echo during activity. Inconsistent call rates to same country and phone number. Experienced charge/min rate increase for upto 2 times than rate at installation. Friends say, rate can go upto 2.5 times randomly. Also may reduce to very low rates. I would have preferred a consistent rate per call. Still testing the app, have not been completely satisfied to keep using it.
