Acceptable for importing dozens of photos This app definitely has its quirks like having to enter my camera type and selecting its WiFi each time I open the app. Still it does its job relatively reliably and allows me to import dozens of pictures relatively conveniently (eg better than with the fuji app). Wish list: Remember camera type and connection Support firmware updates. Better filters for imports by date and file type.

searches for location info, which is denied - it says if i don't want it to collect that data, say "cancel" on the next screen. but it can't ever get to the next screen - stuck in a loop trying and failing to get the location. indicative of sloppy coding, generally.

I had a few small issues at first, but it didn't take long to get things sorted and now I really like the app. First, I had some connection issues, but then I realized this was my phone dropping the connection due to no Internet access. Once I got the phone to forget about looking for the Internet and hold the connection, it was fine. Second, I tried using it and had an issue where I had the camera drive setting in continuous shooting but the app was in single shot, it gave me a strange message and would not take a picture until I figured out that both the app and camera had to be in the same drive mode. After getting these two small issues figured out, it has worked flawlessly and I really like it a lot! It does what I need it to and then some.

there's many people that say this app doesn't work or that you cannot download pictures. i was with you all- and then i realized you just need to plug your phone into power- and the images download wirelessly to your phone, just fine. the app isn't great, but now that i figured this out, I'm pretty happy with it. try it y'all, it works!

Was working on my Android 8.0 device. Upgraded to Android 9.0 and it won't connect. Really not cool when even cheap cameras support Android 9. I paid a lot of money for this camera. I'm using Pentax K-1 Mark II. Even when it worked on the older phone it was really slow which meant I had to take my laptop all the time if I wanted to transfer photos while on a shoot

Version 1.1.2 MOSTLY worked on my Hisense M470BSA tablet, Android 4.2.1, but no live view, no view on screen except camera settings at bottom, no shutter release in bulb mode (?), uninstalled 1.1.2, and tried to install 2.0.1 "Your device isn't compatible with this version. No way to revert to old version, at least it worked a little, now gone. You're moving backwards, Ricoh. Installed ver. 2.0.1 on LG VS425PP phone, android 5.1.1, tried to connect to camera, and there's NO CONNECT BUTTON, like it's off the bottom of the screen! STOP MESSING guys, this is ridiculous! Put back the oldest (partially) WORKING version, will ya? I can't even find where to inform Ricoh of the problem on the support page! Trying to sell more remotes or something? I love my K70, but I sure am glad it hasn't needed repair if this is how you act! And I STILL cant find where to buy the K70 AC adapter (K-AC168?) in the US.

One would expect that Ricoh would test the software with Pentax K1. This software is not compatible with the camera, and camera keeps resetting the connection The App is unable to latch to the camera hotspot most of the time, and if it does, it crashes after one picture. Not compatible with Android v.9, but it has more luck with non-compatible (according to Ricoh) v.5.01.

I thought this app was broken because I couldn't get camera thumbnails to load and couldn't select photos to transfer to the phone. Then I realized photos were automatically transferring. The interface needs work, but the bones are there. Transfer is not fast (5MB/s at peaks), but I can forget OTG nonsense with the SD card. Three stars plus one more star for also transferring RAW images but minutes one star for constant connection issues.
