    The latest update (1 April 2020) has pretty much broken the app... Widgets aren't working and the app isn't loading many of the different tabs (linked accounts, crypto, vaults etc. )... Revolut's terrible management of app updates and "improvements" (which are not improvements for the end user but are improvements for Revolut) are putting me off this app and service to the extent that I want to start using alternative apps and services... In short - I've had enough of Revolut...

    Edit: I used this account/app mostly last year. Just now I thought I could use some of the money from it. But I needed an update. So I did it and now it won't even go past the loading screen in the "transfer" tab. It's super slow, I can't do transfers - it was one of the easiest banking apps I had seen before this update (Android). It's unusable. Can this please be solved? I, and surely many others, need access to their money please. October 2020: Super easy Banking!

    I installed this arouod two or three months ago. For the first few months it was great. Ironicly, as soon as I started putting large amounts of money into it the app become very unstable. Unlucky timing for me. I'm now finding the graphs won't load when trading Crypto. This is happening on two entirely different devices, my network has been fine, so it's clearly an app problem.

    Best app I have used in a long while. The only thing is appreciate more is if it would load faster. Sometimes it takes a good 10 seconds before loading the screen. The is being pedantic though. I'd absolutely recommend this to anyone!

    The fee-free exchange amount is getting smaller every year.(now around 1000 EUR per month) Still cheaper than traditional banking but might be better to do some research and start with another app as I see it will be more expensive in the future. Edited: after you get premium plan, you cannot downgrade due to some technical error. BS. Don't use any premium service

    Love the app and it has worked reasonably well. I tried to make a transfer from one of my Australian bank accounts to my Revolut account and the money has been pending for 4DAYS now. All you get for customer service is scripted responses from "Customer service". The 1 star is for the absolutely horrendous customer service or lack there of. The app itself does what it needs to do and for that I'd give 5 Stars. I will amend this review IF I get a result on my pending transfer.

    The updated UI is bad. UX got worse: functions require more taps, UI is cluttered with suggestions and market news, some features were removed (e.g. spending graph by year). The payment service is not reliable. Sometimes cards are not working and Revolut advises to carry an alternative card. Who could use Revolut as a primary bank? Fees are increasing. They used to say that they get money from card payments but I guess it's not enough anymore.

    Awesome, have been times I forget to bring my bank card with me, but since I have revolut on my phone it's great. Brilliant for if at dinner with multiple peeps we send the money to one person or if abroad the money is switched to foreign money. I love that it also rounds up money spent into a vault for savings. 15/10 recommend. Update: have found 26/03/21 and 31/03/21 my revolut phone tap was rejected 3 times in different shops? App updated and phone set for tap, help?

    Can't reset passcode. Get the text with the code, but when I try to enter it the app immediately takes me to a selfie function with no way to get back to the passcode screen. Very annoying. Then tried online. Click forgot Passcode. Then I get taken to a self help screen telling me to follow the instructions that appear after pressing forgot code. But they dont appear because I get taken to a self help page. Something very wrong with this company. Have they been hacked?

    Really quick and simple set up. No issues that I've noticed. The card came really quickly in the post and the app is very straight forward to use. I had no issues linking it to another account and I've transferred between my partners revolut account, again, without issue. I haven't used it abroad yet however so I can't comment on that. Really great service.

    Revolut is great until there's a problem.... then the customer service is terrible. They asked for verification documents, which I provided, but only 3 months later were they considered, and then they locked my account because they decided my document wasn't sufficient, yet they are still charging me premium fees for a locked account and their agents simply either close the chat so I can't respond or now just won't even answer so I can't start a new chat. It's a disgusting treatment.

    Last couple of weeks tocks taking forever to load, sometimes stalled altogether!! Can lead to losing money and inability to close positions or even set orders. I've been trying to sell all for an hour, just hangs there loading. No way to easily contact anyone anywhere. Was initially impressed but disappointed now! Frustrating!!!

    Generally very happy with Revolut and my Revolut cards bug this morning for a couple of hours there was an issue with crsrc payments and withdrawals, this is extremely annoying and inconvenient and not something we expect from our Revolut! Till now (17.56 hours) we have still not been notified if the issue has been sorted and no sort of apology been released!

    Works very well,i use it to send money abroad,send and receive money,pay rent and split the bills....Works much faster than normal bank cards,which need several days to transfer funds,with Revolut it takes seconds,even with payments to or from other countries,which is amazing! You can also use it on every ATM,and pay with it in every shop,at least in Ireland.🥳👍👌

    Used to be good, now bloated and glitchy. An ever increasing range of issues from difficulty topping up, to Revolut to Revolut payments needing to be claimed via a broken process with a claim link that ends at the App home screen after taking you via the Play store to install an App you already have and then going nowhere (even after getting a payment notification) Support agents say such a process doesn't even exist. 🤷‍♂️

    Shocking, there is so much wrong with this app I can't even write it down in here. But to sum up not being able to log in, there is no way of getting hold of Revolut other than through the app. In my case I can't get in to the app so I'm literally stuck. Nice one Revolut - app deleted and one customer lost.

    Unacceptable. The app malfunctions all the time. I could not make purchases and after long long communication with support they told me that I had an older version of the application. Why the f isn't this process automated? Also the new app version is crashing when I try to go to the tab with my transactions. It makes you wonder if they cannot make it on simple staff like automatic updates how can I trust them with my money.

    Some fees may be hidden. Currency exchange fees are shown for 3 seconds after you make the transaction. There is no way to find if and what you will pay before the transaction, other than googling it. After you paid your fees, they are completely hidden from the transaction receipt. I can't tell if it's lazy gui programming or just a sleazy tactic.

    In the beginning I was very impressed with revolut, and I still think it is a great service. However it is the kind of company that decline in service the larger it gets. Exchange between currencies used to be free, not anymore, same with atm withdraws. Many of the reasons why I got revolut on the first place are disappearing as fees are added. It is no longer the best card you can get and I advice you to compare with similar competitors before signing up.

    Introduced transfer fees; convertion fees and tied limits on basic account. Subscription SaaS model forcing way through. It used to be okay consider numerous cards payment issues over the years. Even if you get upgrade account still limited number of transfers with no fee (international). It is a time to try competition as there is a few good players out there. 2021: cannot receive payments of even few thousands from other High Street banks as Revolut is not even recognised as one of the banks.

    If you have any issues it is impossible to get in touch with Revolut. For the chat function you have to wait at least 30 minutes and there is no notification when someone is available on the chat. There is no way to report suspicious activity on your account apart from via that chat. I would not recommend. It is not secure. I paid for premium and have not been able to transfer money into the account (my normal bank assure me it is an issue with Revolut) and yet I am not able to get refund.

    The referral campaign is really disappointing. The end day isn't clearly stated. I invited a friend who wasn't able to finish all steps before March 15 because the card didn't arrive for a few days. So this referral has disappeared and the new campaign has just started. We could have just waited a few days. 25 pounds are gone, very misleading hiding deadline ans starting the same thing just after finishing the old one!

    This app has a stupid bug: Since I never ordered a Revolut physical card, whenever I open the app it asks: "Do you want to order a physical card?" and I tap "No". Why do I say this is a bug? Because: Whenever the app shows me notifications (for example now it showed me the notification "Do you want to try crypto? You can start with 1$. Tap to find out more"), after I tap the notification the Revolut app opens, but it shows the annoying question about "Order card", then the "read more" is lost !

    This app used to work but now it's just unusable! 1. I was not able to receive money that was sent to me with a code. The only way I was able to get money was by requesting it. Every time I tried to enter the code and receive the money the app would just say "there was a problem". 2. When I got a new phone and installed it I was not able to log in. Every time I receive a sms with the 6 digit code, but instead of logging me in, the app goes through the registration process. 3. There is no easy way to contact support! You can't use the chat if you don't log in, but the app will not let you log in. I am looking forward to the day when I will be able to log in, get my what little money I have left out of this whole, and never have to deal with this again. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR A COMPANY THAT HANDLES MONEY!!!

    Worse than a bad app, criminal. I put nearly 700 dollars in revolut 200 at a time, which is too slow. I dared to use MY OWN debit card to try to add money and got a security fault. There is a bug in the app, so it says I've completed verification but it stuck. There is no way to access my money. No way to contact revolut through the app. And, conventienly, revolut does not take phone calls. I'm a programmer, I know it's a bug and not intentional but the intention doesn't matter. Theft is theft.

    Overall excellent app and service but since at least the last update an important feature is suddenly missing: the total value of all assets you hold on Revolut (foreign currency accounts, stocks, crypto) in a given reference currency. If I now want to know the total value I have to get each account balance, each crypto, each stock, apply appopriate Forex rates and add them together manually. Burdensome and unnecessary as this was available before. Update: they fixed it so very happy again.

    Great mobile banking app. Easy manipulation of your accounts, no hidden fees, many great features such as currency exchange, cryptocurrency, security features, .... Perfect for online shopping and travels. Also great features for the Metal account at a very cheap rate. The customer service is also very professional and provide prompt support. I hope they expand the coverage of the credit cards they support for topping up.

    This is one of the worst financial apps I have seen or used. The system is so slow that SMS arrives in several minutes, I can not upload my selfie, neither I can reset my passcode. Fact is nothing works in it. And on top of all that there is no help, online chat does not work, no email or form to contact. And that is the reason I have to come here and post this feedback.

    Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with any institution, financial or otherwise. Fine when things are going well but beware if you are flagged for a source of funds enquiry. All my funds derived from salary and savings and easily proven but it took 10 months and over 50 documents and replies to the same irrelevant questions to get access to my funds. Needless to say I emptied and closed my account. Never again!

    Gave it 5 stars before because I really like the functionality. And I still do. But the android app since about 2 months is completely unusable. It's so freakin slow! Loading account info - 15 s od waiting. Going into transactions - another 30 s every time you want to see them. Fix this. I'm a Metal for 2 years but if this doesn't get fixed really soon I'm quitting revolut.

    It is annoying. Constantly changing things that were ok into bad, then from bad to worse. For example conversion graph is useless with its 2 decimal. Spaming notifications, i know i can turn the off, but should have i realy, did everybody do it? It is good for banking generaly, free transactions, that is why i uppend the score to 3.

    The chat support sucks. It is totally useless, always with "catalog" answers. Additionally, just stop the joke-iDeal service you want to say you have included. It is embarrassing and working 1 out of 20 times. Fix it first and then you sell it. Enough is enough. 2 times within one week it really left me exposed as I wanted to transfer money that at the end, got reverted. The money is getting of course "hung up" and is returning to the source account after 3-4 b days. Worst iDeal service ever.

    Extremely difficult to work with this bank. And after you deposit money they close your account. The app is not simple.for example they ask for a screen shot to be sent. The phone app takes 10 mins to achieve this and by that time its logged out. My advise don't bother yet. Update. They Greed not to close the account and the following day send an email demanding I remove my money. Total chaos. Just don't take a chance.

    This app and the whole Revolut platform is essentially buggy. I changed smartphone and it ended up impossible to reauthenticate on the new smartphone. I followed all the steps, I changed the passcode, I inserted correctly the last merchant and the last 4 digits of the top up card and, nothing, it keeps asking my mobile number and it says it is incorrect. I am giving up. Luckily I had no money left in the account. Bye bye Revolut. Or I should call you Devolut.

    *updated review Great app, everything works. BUT- we will NEVER use this for business or any large fund transfer. They withhold funds with no notice or explanation and there's no customer support(try in app-you get bounced from one "rep" to the next) great platform, not very trustworthy or transparent dealings, very unfortunate.

    Its ok. Good if you want to trade. Need a much better UI, apps very confusing, feels like a traditional bank tried to build a modern app. Still a beta id say. However, crypto i wasnt happy even on their top metal plan you are still charged 1.5%, i think it should be lower like 0.5%. I would be willing to negate fee free trading for that. I think they are good but still have polishing to do.

    I love Revolut. It does makes my life much easier in relation to transferring money between bank accounts (next day money is there, internationals too) or when the person has Revolut account too, than money is there in no time! Of course there are so many other great benefits with it- in it, but myself... that's what I'm using it most. Thanks guys keep it up!

    Great service, but confusing and bloated app design. It's great to send money to family across the world, but it's really difficult to use for non-tech-savvy people like my parents. I also wish the extra features like investments and rewards had their separate app and didn't get in the way of the most used features (payments, transfers etc)

    This app is full of bugs, not able to process most of the important functions, Iam not able to see my shares, not to mention nor possible buy/sell them. broken top up money, sending money, find people to send them money, and such a much broken stuffs... Having newest version couple of weeks, checking almost everyday whether they've released fixed version. Still nothing 🤦‍♂️ With some kind of funny app or unimportant tool I'd would not mind, but this is bank, operating with your money!

    I love revolut for most of what it does. What I do not like is it has removed a very important safety net when dealing with trading. I no longer can set up automatic selling points only notifications. Great to get a notification in the middle of the night to say you've lost alot of money rather than a stop loss automatically selling preventing such a drop. Go suck a lemon for that one

    Revolut is much better than a traditional bank but some of the changes are going in the wrong direction. UI "updates" that clutter the main page with "News"and self-advertising (perks for paying customers) are distracting and subtracting value from the rest of the application. Also, the introduction of new fees, communicated on short notice, takes away some reasons for using Revolut vs. a traditional bank. Would still recommend, but hope that as Revolut matures it adds rather than removes value

    App is not great at all. Transfers won't go through. Customer service is awful. Solution for everything is uninstall and reinstall, and never works. And even their customer service feedback doesn't work!!! Definitely better companies out there that will better manage your money.

    So far, almost a year that I use the revolut services and I haven't had any problems, I'm satisfied and for now will continue using the account and the card. Update from 01.04.2021: Revolut, increasing diverse fees is not the way to keep your customers, but it makes them disappointed! I get back 1 star from my previous 5-star rating.

    Very good app alternative to banking. One suggestion would be to have a way to sort Vaults by name, date created, percentage complete and amount as if you have a number of Vaults it can be a confusing layout 🤔 also a good way to increase security could include an option to use an authenticator to login (with a way to use a backup code by phone verification if authenticator is uninstalled by accident)

    I currently cannot neither add money from Google pay, no specific error message or code "try again later", have been trying for >24 hours. Now trying to login over the internet and must authenticate using the app. But I open the app and no where can I authenticate.... also seems impossible to chat with a real person about issues such as these, which they created themselves... Update: finally got in contact with a support person, who lied about Google pay issues, still unresolved matter!!!!!!

    Just got an email to say they are closing my account...Can only try and figure out why? it because it was the standard free card I used and only used it for shop and online purchases...if I was given the option to upgrade I probably would have but I'm totally lost as to why I'm been closed down

    Great app to easily and conveniently change money from a currency to the other. Also easy to keep the credit card in check, which can be immediately frozen if needed. Highly recommended, especially if you need to use other currencies.

    I like the functionality for me in general. I also like the fee version of the junior account. However, I feel the charges are too high for the higher spec versions of Revolut. It is ridiculous to charge so much for access to your own money.

    Revolut can block your account at anytime.This is not trustee.I have a lot of examples of friends who complained about Revolut blocking their accounts with more than30.000€ sold.The problem is that you can reach no one if is happening to you.Revolut sends you some digital messages and then nothing is happening for a long period. I have my account blocked for no reason since 12 of March, this is not trustee at all.Revolut is the new modern way of robbery.Be careful with Revolut and your money!!!

    Great online banking solution but the app is ridiculously hard to navigate and not remotely intuitive. Words were avoided at all cost. Those words were then replaced by symbols that are impossible to interpret. I just clicked around for 30 minutes until I found my own IBAN!

    Buggy app. Hard to navigate. Crypto prices suddenly showing in USD instead of GBP. My transactions show in GBP. It make its hard to invest and messes with your strategies. Especially on volatile market like Crypto. Here's a suggestion. Have settings for every tab so users know what options are available. Provide more settings. Separate the search button from the browsing button. It's written in all ui guidelines. This app ignores them all.

    I've upgraded to Metal. It used to include free Lounge Key Passes, but cancelled it last year. Revolut lists LK Passes as benefit and states "at low cost". They write BOOK in many places, not PURCHASE. The cost was not obvious to me at upgrade, nor could I find the price. I entered a lounge at VKO, paid 28eur via Revolut app. Unexpected. At this price I see no value of Metal plan for me. Revolut shall provide better info of services. Many competitors offer free LK pass. A big minus to Revolut.

    The app itself is 👍 Sometimes though, the card details cannot be displayed in the app, even after authentication - sometimes logging out and back in solves this, but other times just trying again later does it. The service and online banking capabilities of this are also great!

They asked to review my sources of funds for a second time,I sent what documents I could buy that was weeks ago! I've tried customer support everyday for 2 weeks without success. It took several weeks to resolve in the end. None of it should have happened. There's no way to contact customer support without using the app which requires me to finish verification. I tried contacting them on Facebook many times but they weren't very helpful.

And it gives notification of pre authorization for future purchase (raffle entry) but no option to approve the transaction or decline ... It eventually revokes after running out of time.

    Sometimes they have a bit of a technical issue that makes it so that you can't log back in to your account for a while if you try to reset your passcode (happened twice and both times it took about a day for the issue to be resolved). But everything else is cool.

    I am trying to access to my account. I made a claim few times and they keep saying to click on Forgot passcode to chat as anonymous. This "forgot passcode" doesn't appear anywhere. Also when I put the incorrect passcode twice it stays like that and I am not able to chat with an agent to reset my credentials. I tried from different devices ( Androis and IOs) but still the same. Very disappointed! I hope I will be able to access again.

    Quick and warm answers when my account was frozen! So far it was quite easy to fix logging issues which is really important when we talk about money. The app doesn't answer sometimes, which is annoying as when you have to re-start a conversation with the assistance from the beginning or when an error message repeatly appears on the screen. So in an emergency case it is a real cons as you have to wait, then reach out to someone again and can't pay for anything during this time.

Why does it show weekly stats when I unsubscribed from those notifications expressing clearly I'm not interested in it? Please introduce settings to remove all this clutter and bring transaction history back to main page.

You will always reach a machine, there is no single email to where to write nor any phone number to where to speak with an agent.     Excellent exchange rates when transferring or paying to foreign accounts. Also works well in foreign ATMs. Payment to friends is simple & immediate. Support is only via in-app chat & responses can take a day or more. And then you get stupid answers and questions from a bot. Getting a human takes a day or more & some struggle to understand your issue.

    Good interface, nice features (top up, virtual cards), but in overall very bad and unfair product. Not transparent prices for the service (fees for crypto transfers in crypto to date - f.e. 0,000000213 BTC on 1.1.2020 doesnt tells you anything). Not consistent - content structure is diferent on stocks and FX investments. After atempt to close premium membership a fee appears, that has to be paid before the canceling pricess can be finished). Not comunicated well before. Big disapointment.

They literally do not provide any way to contact them. And if you manage to contact them, it'll not help at all. No explanation, no estimate of how long it will take to fix your problem. I am getting spammed with Stocks/ Crypto news and there's no way I can turn them off, only by setting "General" notifications to off, but then I won't be getting any notification anymore. Already requested this some time ago but nothing so far.

    If you're still debating on whether or not to use Revolut, just take the plunge. Even if you don't use any of the other features, you will have far better insight into where your money is going in real time. It helps you budget and plan expenditures and for that feature alone it is worth it. There are a multitude of others and I cannot recommend it enough.

    I have the Metal account now for over a year due to travelling a lot for work. Paying for little things when on business trips used to be a pain. Splitting lunch or buying gas in another country with others was always in cash. Now I can settle things like that between currencies and between accounts or even international wires without any problems. And if I did need cash, 90% of the machines I found worked with the card across 4 countries. Plus the Metal card is cool and everyone asks about it.

    In Nov 2020 Revolut did not manage to sort out a software glitch, which prevents the app from opening up on an Android phone. The problem persisted for a couple of days and then worked again. If an app does not open unless the date is back dated is an invitation to hackers I'm afraid.

    Other than a safe to spend budgeting system like Simple Bank, who just got bought by BBVA USA, I like everything else. Maybe tweaking the virtual cards to be more like specific online bill card where the receiving company can't take anything other what was budgeted like Unlock. This way if the receiving account gets hacked, my bank account can't be clean out in the process

    Buggy app! It doesn't allow me to create payment link. When I contacted customer care, it says I need to order physical card as it is a requirement. I mean, common.. why do I need to order physical card for using this feature? Also, let's say that is a requirement then why do you even show me that feature? Don't show the feature if I can't use it. Secondly, very bad stock market rates. Even though they say 0 commission, they are charging it implicitly by showing wrong values of stocks.

    No easy way to convert currency anymore, used to be able to check the pairs with increments of 0.001, now it's automatically set to market order (worst possible exchange rate). Have to manually change it to limit order, but I can only imagine on how many people lose their money by accidentally exchanging it (happened even to me, even though I know what I'm doing, it did not give a confirmation message even).

    Revolut covers every Financial need that I could desire in a banking Institution. The customer service is awesome. I had an issue where I got locked out of my account and they were able to quickly resolve it on Facebook Messenger due to the fact I could not access live chat in app. The instant bitcoin purchasing separates this digital bank from all the rest. The cash back offers are taylormade and the bank is international. 5+ stars! Takes care of all things financial!

Their phone system is automated only; their email is only for customer feedback; and their live chat is only for customers. Clearly, they have no real interest in assisting potential customers. I started with EUR and now I have to change it manually every time 😨 Missing buy+sell price and mainly the real value with commission included in the trading Page portfolio.     Initially revolut services was alright, afterwards I received electricity bill payment from my neighbour, because of this my account was locked ,they requested me to provide bank statement my neighbour? ( third party bank statement is a breach of privacy, you can't force other to provide the Bank statement to proof their payment to me) at moment my money is locked in the revolut account.     Very poor UX Accepts open banking authorisation links, but does not show any option to authorize. From the browser forces to open the app, where it shows Authorize option but then shows an error after authorizing. Then go back to the browser to authorize.

I've just uninstalled app and going to install it again to see 8f it rectifys this.. its an inconvenience though not being able to use it without going this process.

    Okay fine, nothing at this world it's free, but now you've introduced tons of new fees and it's okay, I'll pay them but first: Remove the tons of add and promotions from my dashboard, I wanna be able to customize it! Also, Italian banking license, I want my money to be safe, to have them in a real bank! You're losing your way!!

    I hate "new" look, I can't find anything and do basic stuff I was use to do easily and quickly before revamp. And now it cost to send money to another Revolut account (same currency)

    Used to be a great app until they blocked my account for a month saying they have to review for securities, in the meantime needing my money and couldn't use it!! And now they told me they are permanently closing my account without giving any reasons.

    After the application running, the following message has appeared: "Some unrecoverable error. We suggest to completely remove application and reinstall it from Google Play Store", how to solve this issue? 🤷🏻‍♂️

    One of the best app great card products but a little limited on crypto currencies as not so many to trade I wish I was seen more crypto good for stocks problem with stocks is when you withdraw money you are not able to invest in crypto straight away as you need to wait a few days but you can invest straight away in another stocks here is why I give 4 stars

    The app asks me to insert my SSN every time I try to top-up even though I did several times. For over a month the agents keeping telling me there is a technical issue and they don't have a timeframe. This is unacceptable.

    This is the worse update! In updating the app, I lost the account balance, the help is not working, there is no way to reach revolut unless it's in the app, therefore I can't access my money or contact them! Absolute shambles

    Absolutely useless App, very slow, freezes, will not verify email details, help desk says its two hours before they can help me, avoid at all costs, if the app doesn't work properly how are they going to securely look after your money????

    Beware . Your account cant be block for no reason. You wont have access to your funds and there will be no one on the other end . So dont trust revolut . Always keep another account on the side to be safe . Lucky for me i only use this revolut to make money transfer between my family and close friends . Sut imagine all you income was going there . ? So dont put your full trust in them specially the EU account.

    Today on March 30, i tried payint at the supermarket. I tried withdrawing 20 RON from my Vault. It said that there's smth wrong and i should try again. The money was withdrawn though, even if the app notified me there's smth wrong. My card was denied 3 times. 2 times i tried contactless and 1 time by introducing the card in the POS. I DID have enough money on my card for my shopping. The whole app is having a fuss. Please fix asap... this is unbelievable

    My girlfriend has a problem with this app: She tried to send some money to another revolut account, they payment stays pending and never shows to the other person, and then it is sent back. I downloaded it to test it, i didn't even receive my verification message for 5 minutes.

    Overall a great experience so far, but it would be amazing if you guys made the widgets follow the theme (dark or light) of the application. Having my phone all black with that white thing on my screen is just an eye sore.

    Brilliant app. So easy to use once you get your head round it and accepted almost everywhere. I'm only giving 4 stars as the charges went up this month.
