    I love the concept and use Revolut for almost all my payments, but the app is getting worse and worse with every update. I constantly find myself to look for features and don't remember where to find them and designers are constantly changing things. I'm getting sick of it. It's less and less intuitive... I don't even want to comment on "stories" in the's a fintech, not a social media app! I just don't get it..

    Initially excited, loved the concept. After my first issue I was introduced to customer service and that's the reason for 2 stars. It is a lottery if the person you chat to actually knows anything and more often than not they don't. If your issue is time sensitive and it takes you 24 hours to get to someone knowledgeable, you will lose money. My last interaction was enough for me to switch to Monzo.

    It keeps asking again and again for verification which I have sent twice now, even though I have been a customer for a year. No one to contact, in Facebook they refer to "live chat" in the app, but that is a chat bot just giving you standard answers. And agree with others here, the app is a joke. Revolut pissed me of enough now. I have transferred my money back to my bank account. Good bye Revolut.

    really good for paying online because of the disposable card, a bunch of useful features, instant transfers to other accounts - BUT awful customer service, you can't speak to a human over the phone and larger sums of money take ages to arrive in your revolut account (12 days if not longer for some people). so i wouldn't rely on it, only top it up with the amount you need for a given transaction.

    Easy to use and great functionality. My only criticism is that if you have both Euro and Pounds accounts and try to withdraw local currency from a Euro country, it can't happen (although local purchases do get paid in Euros). The amount gets converted into Pounds and then back to Euro for the withdrawal! While having Euros in my Revolut, I went to withdraw €200 in Greece and I got charged over €218!

    What experience? Downloaded, tried to sign up by inputting my phone number. I have not received any code, and I tried over days and weeks. You cannot sign up on the website either. Tells you again to input number to get get a link to the app. No link. Not sms. How can you trust them with your money when they can't even get a message system working right?

    Twice I had a pending transfer I wanted to unsend (the button was active). But no matter how many times I tried in 2 days it was pending I got an error message telling me to try again later. Very bad experience because I am still trying to get this sent money back. Also, it takes up to 3 hours sometimes to reach a customer service agent via chat. They must hire more agents and have a call center for sure. I will try to minimize my money in your bank

    I highly recommend. If you are legally receive money on your account you have no reason to worry. I hear a lot of people complain that soamtimes Revolut blocked money. I tell you from my experience that I use revolut from many years and it all good. A lot of benefits.. it like you have your one bank in your hand. So no money laundering and everything it works good.

    Good App in overall, although no ETFs or small cap stocks on the trader, also 8 movements for the premium user is not enough, and the Vault without not even a 0.5 interest rate makes no sense. Also on commodities a few more can be added besides just gold & silver. Also at least a small overview about the company in every stock would make sense, as well as some info like p/e ratio or dividend yield, and the orders with limits, please for more than just one day, a month or a custom range.

    Makes it easy to manage your own money, allows to exchange and buy Bitcoin etc for free. If you feel like you need more options (which for me they offer more than enough) you can buy premium for just a few €. Altho even tho online app is amazing i had a problems in some shops to pay with my Revolut card, as they didn't accept it in their store. As well sometimes I couldn't send money from my bank account to Revolut. Lately I didn't have this problem so I think it got repaired.

    Just to be clear. The referral process does not work. They will ask you to pay for card delivery. Additionally, after your account is opened, all third party marketing is enabled by default. Very irritating. When you try to close the account they will remind you that they will keep the data for 6 years. I'm very confused by the good reviews.

    After almost finishing to close my account, it reregistered me... why? And then I closed it again (or I DON'T KNOW NOW IF IT'S CLOSED!!) And it automatically starts to register me without telling me that it's the registration section!) And also, when you try to log in and you click on "Existing user", it shouts into your face that you have to continue the registration! Aaalso, it asked me to put money onto the account twice when I registered for the first time, so I sent the same money twice.

    The exchange rates are the best possible. The card deposit is just wow without any charge. Exchanging money pretty easy and cheap. *Edit* The trading platform had some issues 3-4 months ago probably because of updates so was lagging and showing wrong pop ups. The last 2-3 months everything works great. The thing that they need work with is adding IPO's from the day 1 and not a month later or more. So the 3* became 4* now. :)

    I had everything run smoothly all the time. Money goes in very fast and also transfer to other is super fast. no issues until 10.09.2019. hopefully the team will provide these services a long time from now. CONS: sending money from Revolut to other accounts, from which i top up Revolut acc si no longer instantly( 10-20 mintues). It takes a couple of days.

    September 2020 - the app is getting bogged down with more and more features, I get is a banking app, but stocks,crypto, commodities, rewards even a full section for upgrading. Why? The change over - you had to go diving around the app to find things, just finding the bank cards was a task, as tabs started appearing out of no where. I reported an issue, which according to Revolut was Google's fault and disregarded, then took an age to fix! But after all that - ok (now I've found everything)

    Unfortunately last versions compromise on user experience and on functionalities which were previously available and useful. 1. Inability to arrange the currency pairs in the Watchlist. 2. Lack of overview graphs per currency pair in the Watchlist. 3. Inability to create a price alert with more than 2 digits after decimal point. 4. The percentage change calculated does NOT use as reference the previous closing rate. 5. All auto-exchanges set appear under each pair, even if not relevant to it.

    It was really good app but I can't log in to my account anymore, it stuck at loading or buffering. I waited for the new update, nothing changes, still cant get in my account. However I reinstalled the app and sign in again so it's fine now. Could developer look into the login session if possible, to prevent like this happening.

    This used to be a great app but it no longer works well and is very slow - clearly they only want customers with shiny new phones. Can't add money via a card as it hangs at verification screen. Revolut say the issue is with my bank not responding, my bank say that Revolut haven't made any requests. I am now stuck not able to top up my card as going via the web interface is tedious. Time to move elsewhere. Sorry Revolut, but you just don't seem interested in fixing this.

    Really good banking app. I have a Samsung so I can log in quickly with my fingerprint, everything is easy to find and moves quickly. I wish that when you're going to send money, it brought up your most used contacts rather than your whole contact list. While its great to have the option, searching manual way just takes a few seconds too long. Great app all the same.

    UI design has taken a nose-dive Used to be one of my favourite apps. You could easily see an overview of your expenditure with a graph and locate inconsistencies. Now this has got to be one of the messiest, worst UIs I've seen in a long while. It's as if someone had a brainstorming session on ALL the features one could possibly have and told the designer to cram it all in. Went from a 8/10 to a 2/10. I NEVER use the app itself anymore - other than to withdraw and deposit.

    Love this app but there is definitely room for improvement... I would love for them to add EU stocks, Oil, and more cryptocurrency. Also I think there should be a desktop app for this or on the web so that people can access and invest anywhere, also sometimes the support chat can be very slow or dosent even answer. Apart from that this bank is very very good

    Overall super fast, super reliable, easy to use. However recently benefits been changed and account numbers for regions been re-announced and not that great anymore. Was the cheapest option, now is only just like any other providers for this service. Would still use it as it's safe but got a little sad and surprised with recent changes.

    I am a have been using Revolut for about a year now and my experience has been pleasant for the most part, until a few days ago when my card was restricted awaiting found source verification. I tried usei g the inapp chat but the agent just left. This is unacceptable for a billion dollar company, to leave a person with their card locked for days (I am a metal plan user as well, which they say, means priority)

    App is nice but they don't advertise the strict limits/won't tell you why your deposit limit is so small or why you can't create another virtual card. Also customer service is hardly a service when it takes as long as this one. If you do get ahold of someone they usually won't disclose much (if any) helpful information.

    Does not allow verification via residence permit, and does not make it clear that a residence card (blue card) is required. Tried contacting support via chat, but they require you to verify identity first, which I am unable to do because I don't have a blue card. Now I have 20 euros in my Revolut account that I transferred and cannot retrieve because they did not ask about identity validation first. Revolut should not allow topping up account if it is not verified yet!

    Despite a lot of the negative hype it has been one the best banking experiences I've had. I like the disposable cards and ease of use. I haven't had any trouble adding or using money , which seems to be problem for some. Four stars because I think the subscription fees are a little high especially considering the amount of users they have now. The application interface is a little confusing to navigate at times and a little cluttered but in comparison to others it is beautiful&smooth.

    Amazing app and great idea, we usually get the best conversion rates going with revolut. Only have it 4* because I get a bit annoyed when it locks your card at seemingly silly times, like when I travel back to somewhere I've been before and try to make a purchase. The new top up flow that takes you to your banking app and back is great!

    Just a standard prepaid card app. Good for fiat currency purposes but loses the star for its fake crypto options. You cant lodge to or transfer from an external non-revolut account/address. So it means you dont have any crypto. Also, their exchange rates for crypto are terrible, especially since it's only pretend crypto wallet anyway. Otherwise they're the best in their business.

    What is happening to the app? I really do not like this new design. The original Revolut app was clean and simple to use, now it seems focused on stocks or crypto currency. The whole layout is confusing. On a different note, I also had a payment frozen and not refunded, even though I used a different payment method to make the purchace. I am loosing interest in Revolut, and I think it's inevitable that I will be soon closing my account.

    It was good but now they keep adding restrictions. Minimum top up amounts, plus poor and unhelpful error messages when adding money or adding/removing cards. No longer recommend. Plus it's clear from the reviews on here that the company are not bothered about resolving customers' issues. They do not follow up on problems reported!

    Receiving money through the website fails with the error "BIC/SWIFT is in invalid format", even though it's guaranteed it's the right format. Receiving it using the app doesn't work because "something went wrong. try again later". Meanwhile, Transferwise works without problems, I can recommend it instead of Revolut!

    Frustrating to the point of despair. Having enjoyed using this app over last couple of years I am no longer able to use it. Came to log in after a few months of inactivity only to find the app wants to set up a new account. Even then doesn't accept my verification and I am stuck in the "chat to us " page. No sign of the bot or Live agent. Can't log in, can't log out . The log in page recognises me with a greeting but that's as far as it goes. Any ideas how to log on please?

    Easy to use and get used to. The metal package gives a lot of benefits, especially if you travel. Had to use the Insurance option. All went as expected. Easy to buy crypto and follow the different market statistics. It really saves a lot of time and could save money if used to it's capacity. Great app and service! Always looking forward to improvements and new features.

    I do not know what the matter is with this Revolut app it just locks off your account after a few months. I have been using Revolut for 4 years now. But this has become a issue now constantly freezing my account now I am trying to connect. With an agent and the app is stuck on looking for an agent it's been over a day how long do I have to wait to speak with someone to deal with my query. Really bad customer service like this.

    In general the app works well, until it doesn't. At some point it stopped showing card details which was frustrating. Uninstalling and reinstalling fixed it though. I do wish they would completely do away with phone number verification because this has caused issues (I travel and can only use a certain number when in that country). Also, the app locks EVERY time I switch to another app, making it very annoying when paying. There should be a 1 minute timeout at the very least.

I find the lack of regular web browser application quite a minus, especially when it comes to trading stocks (which i think its a very useful thing and a very much desired thing to have for me). Having to stare at a small screen or being forced to have a bigger phone or tablet its not nice, and as i said, a big minus for me.

    October 2020: card was in Euro App says it was changed to ARS. Another major red flag! October 2019: Negative: Avoid paying with Revolut card for online shopping. I returned an item but the online shop's refund is withheld by Revolut company, they did not transfer it to my Revolut account in 2 months and when I try to chat to a support agent I always get an error message. The chatbot says it takes 15 days. I have been waiting for 2 months. Positive: currency exchange rate

    It is a good app promises lots of services. BE AWARE! f you need access to your money make sure you have another account as they can block your account at any time and it takes a long time to get fixed. They say it takes 15 working days to process but I have been waiting months for them to verify my account and it is still not done as they are unclear in telling you what to do. Not very good for a bank when you can't use any of the services until you are verified. 0 STARS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

    I just can't get over how bad the new UI/UX is. Please bring back the "percentage color bars" for the expenses categories. Also, replace the "rewards* shortcut with "this month" page. I'm really not interested in those discounts as much as I am interested in checking my spendings.

    For ages it was a great App. That's no longer the case. The interface is confused and no longer intuitive and help bot doesn't. An ad for Google Pay pops up at startup and after every transaction you make, getting in the way of using the App. Also has bug showing badge count of 1 for no reason. I've disabled badge count until this is fixed. Now the App pesters you to share it with friends and no way to stop it either... Remove such intrusive nonsence and I'll recommend it like I used to.

    It's a good app until you reach the point when you have to deal with customer support. There is no real phone you can call to have your question answered. Even the live chat takes time until you reach a real agent not a bot. My issue was with the transaction which went through on the otherside and couldn't arrive on my side. I've got zero clarification on that from the Revolut's side and in the end my money were transferred back to the sender with the fee of 30 eur on the total sum of 1000.

    Trying to use it in Japan. You aren't able to identify myself with my local drivers license nor my resident card. I initially topped up ¥15,000 Yen that I can't spend using your app. I can't even cancel my account because I have a positive balance! I want my money back that you have stored that I am unable to use! This is like a fraud! Terrible! Terrible! Calling my card company to file a complaint too!

    I have installed this trainwreck of an application because peer pressure. Besides the counterintuitive ui it is swarming with bugs. I just can't convert currencies, and the fields for entering a data for another bank account are also unresponsive. I'd rather not keep a penny on a sketchy app like this and I'll get rid of it asap.

    Packed with adverts for their products, poor ergonomics if you want to check rates and make payments. Price comparison is getting more difficult with each new version. It used to be slightly cheaper than Transferwise for weekday transfers, but today appears more expensive, although it doesn't appear possible to check until you have put money in. What a surprise! I'm going back to CurrencyFair and Transferwise.

    Absolute garbage. It took days to verify my ID, then it wouldn't recognise my cards to top up my account. The App signed me out when I tried to change my address, and there is no way to sign in, it just signs you up as a new client, even with the same phone number!! I sent 20 euros, which I can only imagine is still in there, but have no way of verifying because I cant sign in. If this is the future of banking, I'd rather go back to the past. I wish I'd never heard of it.

    The app keeps getting worse and less user-friendly. Now I can't find how to create a payment link, which is 50% for what I'm using Revolut. Naturally, customer support cannot be reached. If the other 50% gets any worse, I'll close my account and look for an alternative. Quite a shame, I used to like Revolut

    This app tried to block me out of my own account. It even said I'm logging onto a new device, which is false. Then it went blank and stopped working. Granted all the new apps do this when going through an update, it's a total "update" if you understand.. but then if you're saying I'm logging onto a new device, then what "other" device/ip do you have on record? How fake it all is

    Great app, I mean really superb service, prepaid card with a possibility to add more virtual cards as well as one time burner cards. App is really easy to use and totally transparent. No hidden fees or expenses, everything is visible from the second you press pay button. The app also offers you connecting to "Google Pay" service (you can pay with your phone) , sending money quickly to your friends and also trading crypto currencies or other stocks on the financial market.

    Good but confusing. I like using this app to send money overseas and the vaults are good for helping me save. But there are so many extras in the app I find it hard to navigate to what I want quickly. Also I get charged for withdrawing cash and it often comes out of another currency account and I don't know why. Simplifying things would be preferable for me.

I cannot log into my account, it force me to set up a new account and constantly asks for "chatting with them" when in fact no one to chat with is available! Rubbish,rubbish,rubbish! Gear on Revolut and give us your old ways which were working otherwise there will be less clients interested in this service!

    Revolut is ridiculous. The app is full of bugs and glitches. For example, I've installed the app, they ask my number, I fill it in. Then they send me a code to email, which I can't use anywhere. After several months of usage I found not able to communicate with bank people. No phone or mail contact, just clumsy chat where nobody answer or when answer you will not get notified, thus they will close chat as you are not responding. An awful experience for bank institution.

    Only way to contact is using in-app chat. I cannot access the app because they fail to verify my identity. The message does not say anything about why did they fail or what must I do to help... As for now you can only buy, sell or exchange within revolut users, which is not what the future of finance and banking will be. You will have to adapt if you want to thrive as a crypto neo bank.

    Just be mindful when pressing the order card button on Revolut as it appears not to respond or do anything when you click... It should indicate or say 'accepted' and you'd know that you've just requested one card but it not immediately obvious. Press once and then check your email to see of you've ordered it before proceeding to press again.

    I love the banking function of this company, but the app is terribly unintuitive. They have cards and junior taking up space on the home screen which I never use and turning on/off the functions of the card and signing out hidden away. REALLY??? The chat is with a robot who NEVER gets it right and then finally you get a real person, but when you go into the app to do what they say you can't find your way back to the chat because it isn't in a separate window like every other app does it.

My only concern is that when brexit happens they are migrating my account to Poland which is not a problem but then later in the year when they have set up an Irish hub my account will automatically be transferred to Ireland where my account will be subject to a 40 euro government levi each year.     So.. i took back two stars. This app was the best untill it started asking for 3d secure every time I top up. I asked customer support why and they said that that is a requirement for all users, and if not, it will be. Since then, I asked around and I am the only one with this problem. Hope it will get fixed before I have to stop using it because being able to top up fast is one of the main features that sold me to Revolut.

Still better than an app with regular banks (in the Uk at least). It is nice to see the devs quick to fix bugs after you report them. Making it quite a pleasant experience

The only thing I'd like would be to be able to change the default currency in which the budget and analytics are displayed, because I'm currently spending in a different currency than my home country one, and I'd like to keep track of the spending in that different currency.

Specially since I have a premium subscription i expected better performance!     It used to be a great service. Now they take and block funds for a few days. 100% of my internet pucrhases were declined this week causing issues and I need to wait a few days for my own funds.. So basically they are using your cash for free. You cannot raise a ticket, all customer service is disabled I am giving it up soon. Seems a scam.

Atleast they should inform their customers about increase or decrease in limit so that they can plan and put money in revolut accordingly..     Banks should have been doing what revolut is doing a good decade ago. But they're not, revolut is and there's no real disadvantage for going revolut. Maybe if you use it as your main bank, then some problems might come up, I only use it as a payment service. So I can't speak on anything else.

    Great and handy. Limits for cash withdrawal should be raised per month before 2% charge would make it even better.. Ps A timelock option on the savings vault like 6 or 12 hours just to stop people from withdrawing their saving immediately. If u wait for the lock it must be important, if you still don't need it before time runs out u can stop the withdrawal.

    They lock your account without giving any reason. No time frame. Nothing. One day you can just open your accoint and find it locked. They claim it's related to banking regulations but no one else does this. Not even mobile banks like Starling. Imagine you're travelling, depending on revolut for your money and suddenly it's locked without time frame? Best avoided, and if used keep most money off of it until you need to use it.

I only used the revolut app for a bit now, but since U.K. Banks wont accept me its a good alternative to brick and mortar banks You get a virtual debit card for free and only a small delivery charge for a physical debit card, whichof both can be used for nfc payment on your phone as soon the account is funded.

    Great for me as I can transfer money to my Niece without driving over to give her cash or waiting 3 days for the bank to process it. This shows her how to manage money at a young age. Only issue I had was identification on set up it only allows Passport or National I.D. Should allow driving license but its it's not the App's fault it's trying to find the Passport!!! :-)

Prefers the older UI nav and analytics on the account finance and presicted spending. Functionality still exists however so can't complain to much. Super easy for paying, sending money, splitting bills, linking your acc. Great security options esp on the cards linked to the account.

    RIDICULOUS. Comparing with other financial exchange apps the graphics are so inaccurate and considerably 4 to 6 of the last numbers lower. On other apps it shows exchange rates $1.1015. against the euro. But at the same time by revolut, the graphic exchange it shows $1.1008.??? They are not fair on the exchange rates as they promised, or the app is not accurate and reliable. The graphics of exchange are so inaccurate, better literally erase from the app completely

    I paid for the metal plan and I wanted to cancel within a month. For as long as I was checking throughout the month the "downgrade" button was there but 2 days before my monthly subscription ends the button magically disappeared. Also be aware that if you want to downgrade before the 12 month contract ends, you will need to pay for an extra 2 months but the account will be downgraded (28€ for metal)

I really like the app. Two things to improve: - the exchange rate between Hungarian Ft and any other currency is very high (1 Eur~360 Ft), and the change rate into the other direction is not used at all (in Hungary). It would be nice, if we could see the rate from EUR to HUF and for other currencies as well, since the other rate (1 HUF ~ 0.0027 EUR) is hard to understand as we don't use it, and its accuracy is bad. - rate alert cant be set since the change rate is so low: 0.00 finest option

    Just the worst customer service experience that I've ever had. So I had received a few messages from a Revolut customer support reagrding a transfer but since the app is pure garbage, the only notification and the only way of knowing about them was this little red dot on the app. After not replying to them for 2 days they had completely frozen my account. Now I'm trying to communicate with the support which they claim to be 24/7 and it's going so slowly that I wouldn't even call it a progress.

    Awful interface 'upgrade' . Wish i did not update ☹️. Things are harder to find, look different, big and useless poster type announcements , and the list can go on and on.. The color intelligence was also screwed and app loads Slower!!!

    They always taking money twice, and then you need to wait for few days to get your money back, they have this problem for long time now, they cant fix it. App is good i like it, but need to change to something else

    Locking my account twice for no reason for days after years of use, asking for confidential personal information they have nothing to do. For my "safety". Very slow response time. Don't give your money to them. :(

    Guys, I'm loving this app but what did you do with the budget time frame? I used to be able to look at my budget selecting any date I wanted, now I can only see my budget breakdown per week or per month...predefined, why? 🤔😒

    Won't accept my public ID card or any other ID I have submitted. Tried to to contact customer support, their solution was to submit new ID which I don't have. Good app but no support if things go wrong, be carefull trusting this app with your finances.

    I did a lot of reading up on Revolut before setting up an account, and I was impressed with what I saw. The app is easy to use, works well, and the customer service is good via an in-app chat. I feel happy that my money is safe.

    Excellent! Without a doubt the best online e-banking system you'll find! Feels secure as well with it logging you out each time and you can use fingerprint recognition or passcode. Very quick and seem less interface.

    App dosent let me add money to account to start using it..keeps saying oops something went wrong with no explanation as to why..I have tried to pay using google pay and bank card 16 times to activate account but oops something went wrong..think I'll delete the app and stick with google pay

    UI intentionally disruptive My issues with the app: (1) abuses location privileges given for security purposes to bombard with notifications related to nearby businesses; (2) abuses notifications trying to sneak their spam and actually ignores marketing settings in the app; (3) occasionally reset marketing perms in the app (that should be fineable, shouldn't?); (4) periodically deletes debit card details trying to force user to use bank transfer top ups.

    To use ONLY as secondary card. App works now and then. Maybe your card or account is locked eventually to be fixed after a long time... So, be sure to have other (reliable) bank available when you really need it.

    if a chat gets transferred from the so called front desk to another department such as the one that supposedly checks the source of income (again, assumed as very busy) then revolut won"t answer for several days, even weeks!! and, watch this: no new chat can be open because there is already one open !! ps: I am a metal user...paid for nothing....

    After last update currency exchange interface doesn't work properly. Also pending actions are not filtered by current selected currency. Watchlist menu is stalling most of the time till "application is not responding" message.

    Great for travelling abroad. Quick to send money to other users, and also to and from my own bank account. Would give 5 stars but had couple of instances where the card was not accepted.

    There is nothing to complain about, sometimes it's working slow, but it may depend on the device. It's changing frequently (not always for good) but it's user friendly most of the time.

    Double check your expenses , you might be paying fees without being notified. If you use insurance for international travels, check your daily payments after you return into your country, you might have some surprises.

    App is buggy. Settings don't open so I can't close my account. Contact with revolut is not possible because the chat in the app gives an auto reply that they're to busy. It refers you to some useless faq links and the chat is closed.
