Great recording app. Used it for years. Many options for file format as well as recording quality. Pretty easy audio editing. I've made several ringtones and notification sounds from recordings I've made with this app. Ads are not too visually intrusive. I've used it for so many years, I'm finally supporting the developer and buying the Pro version.

When I'm mixing my music on the control mixer I hear that clapping noise when I hit the button Not good! for recording!! I suggest to put your phone by the speaker so it won't pick up everything!

Would buy the pro in a heartbeat, were it not for the stereo setting, which is also labeled as "mono x2" is exactly that - I get the same mono mix of the stereo mics on both channels. Another app records in stereo just fine but has no manual gain like this one. Sadly a deal killer.

In the last month stopped working.. amazing app but now I keep getting the same issue. When i open the app, I can't play any files(they look blank) and when I press home to exit I get this "cannot unbind service not bound" error.

I recorded a lecture with this app that lasted about 40 minutes. And now more than an hour later, I still have no result and I cannot save the recording to a file because it is still, "writing the metadata". So if you hope to record anything in a reasonable time frame behind a previous recording of any length, you can forget about it. And if this writing data process takes much longer, I guess I will just uninstall it, and lose my recording in the process. Bummer.

Ok get this through your greedy peabrain: THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE LEVEL OF AD INTRUSION IS PERIODIC TINY BANNER AD. Your app radiates me with a full screen banner EVERY TIME I RECORD OR PLAY A FILE. Like any ethical, intelligent human I passionaty hate advertising, so any ad is ignored by me on principle. BUT IF YOU TRY AND FORCEFULLY PENETRATE MY ATTENTION SHIELD WITH INTRUSIVE ADS I WILL UNINSTALL YOUR APP IN A HEARTBEAT. I will also hate you forever and trash talk your product every chance I get.

I love this app and have been using it for the past 5 years. I use it to record all of my tracks for my music. I have one recent problem though, it automatically made most of my recordings unplayable files.. "unable to open file" pretty much deleted them. I recorded some funny times with friends and I can never listen to the recordings again it seems.

Great app! Been using it for years. I love that the widget icons are inconspicuous and not a big red RECORD button. However, with the S9 they stopped working like they used to! I have to OPEN the app first, then the record widget will work. Very frustrating! Will this be addressed in an update? Or is there a known fix? Also, the wave view doesn't sync up with the audio. Another bummer. But fix these things, ya get 5 stars!!!

So far so good. I like the waveform and selection of recording formats. Also the ability to share directly from the app is very useful. I mainly use it to record musical ideas as they come to me. Only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the lack of real stereo recording. I got this one because Sony discontinued their audio recorder app which had support for the stereo mic arrangement on my Xperia. Is it possible to add L and R mic recording? Thanks!
