Your phone/tablet must be running Android 4.4 or above. * Why do I need root? If you are on Android 5.0, or above, then you no longer need root and can ignore this question (and the next one)! However, if you are running Android 4.4, then your device must be rooted in order for Rec. to function correctly/at all. * How do I root my device? Unfortunately the process differs for every Android device, and so there is no universal rooting solution - however CF-Auto-Root is a good place to start. Otherwise, please search for a root guide for your particular device using Google. * Can Rec. record audio? Yes! Audio is recorded via the mic. * Why is the recording laggy and slow on my Samsung Galaxy S2/S3/Note/...? This seems to be an issue with Exynos-based devices not playing nicely with the native screenrecord function, so there's not a lot I can do about it right now (I also don't have access to any Samsung devices). Sorry! * Does Rec. work with Intel x86 based devices? It should work fine for devices running Android 5.0+, but probably not for devices running Android 4.4. Unfortunately, I don't have access to any x86 devices to test on, but if you do try it, please let me know how you get on. * Are there any other known issues? Enabling the Audio option may cause the recording to fail on the LG G2 (on Android 4.4 only). I will attempt to resolve this as soon as I have access to an LG G2 device to test with. * Can you add translations for my language? Go here: https://www.getlocalization.com/rec/ Top Tips: 1. Disable notifications in your Superuser app to prevent the notifications from appearing in the beginning of your recordings. 2. Switch the Size width/height values to flip the recording orientation. 3. Tap the Size label to get your device's native resolution. Disclaimer: Unfortunately, I do not have the time or resources to test the app on every device/ROM combinations, so your mileage may vary.

Hey so this is a good app to screen record but one thing is that when it counting down you can't tell when it starts recording but it's still a good app ty for reading

I think that there should be a way to unblock notifications, and the video's, since I have blocked notifications, are not even showing up so I can view them, and then I go into storage, and there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING THAT I RECORDED THERE. that is what I think. try it for yourselves. or, maybe, don't, because then u will be as miserable as me.

This is the only screen recorder that works on my device. Thank you for that. Though, there's a problem. After one or two video it repeatedly says the service is killed and needs to be restarted. So I restart it every time. It doesn't change. I can't even change the five minutes to anything else or it'll do that repeatedly. Please fix this. If you do, I'll come back and change this rating.

This app is EPIC. Its audio quality is great and the gameplay looks smooth, but there is a problem. So, I have a chromebook, which is the problem. Chromebooks have a wide screen, and this app did not specify that it is for mobile. It records on any ratio you choose, but no one knows how to do that. So until you can KNOW how the ratio will look, this is staying 4 star. At least until I figure out the ratio size.

Worked kinda it didn't save the recordng right but it is LAGLESS 4 since recoding didn't save right but keep good word i a happy i found this my chromebook wouldn't take anything else and it was way to laggy keep up the good work

This is one of the only screen recorders that give you an unlimited time amount without a watermark. The app is quick and easy to use, includes an off and on timer, and the videos go straight to your files. I use this app a lot and I highly reccomend it.

Most the features you can get from other recorders without paying a monthly charge. This app will also record using you camera whenever they want because you sign a terms policy to use it. Con: Will nor record sound. Pro: It runs in the background so apps like Snapchat or snow do not count it as screen capturing.

This app is good but pls the face cam is free that would be good but it cost money so I'f you make the face camera free I'll give it 5 stars and make the highest timer 100 hours so we can live that much hours so keep up with the good work thanks!

I really love this app, it's very helpful for posting on my YouTube channel, and I know it's meant for phones and not my Acer 11 Chromebook, which might be why the mic audio is behind. My only true request, besides maybe system audio recording, is that the mic is fixed. Thanks for the great app!

its pretty good the quality is great and the sound is nice too sometimes it tends to crash when I try to exceed or reduce the amount of minutes of the recording also it'd be great if you could add a pause button it'd be more convenient than having to end the whole thing, the ads use to freeze my phone but it doesn't anymore (I think it was a bug the app had at the time) but it works good you should add more options like pause, draw, screenshot etc... it's a great app but needs some improvements
