Ready is designed to make browsing Reddit content a breeze. Standout features like auto-playing gifs/videos in feed, quick top comment previews in feed, double tap to vote make browsing faster than any other app.
Offline/Spotty Connection Support
You can continue voting, saving, replying, etc even while offline. Your actions with be queued to be reattempted in the background once you reconnect. You can also setup prefetching your favourite subreddits so they are available even when offline.
Inline Link Previews
You can see a small preview of image/gif content links without opening the link
Quick Comments Preview
Do you ever open post just to check the top comments? I do so I added a feature to quickly do that without having to click into the post and wait for it to load all the comments. Just click on the comment count and you can get a quick preview of the top comments.
Autoplay Gifs and Videos Directly In Feed
Another feature that reduces that amount of times you have to navigate to another screen is the ability to play gifs and videos directly in the feed.
Auto-updating, user-curated filter packs
This is a must have. Hate that you got a movie or television show spoiled? Tired of filtering new political subs that keep popping up? You aren't going to be able to keep up with all of it. Here is where auto-updating, user-curated filter packs solve your problem. They are filter packs that you can subscribe to that anyone can create. Ready will automatically check for updates to your filters packs.
Other features include:
• Double tap to upvote, triple tap to downvote
• Inline link previews in comments
• Support for subreddit icons and banners
• Prefetch data when device asleep and connected to wifi
• Automatically refresh comments
• Light themes, dark themes, AMOLED, etc
• Card view, list view, compact list view, etc

Reviews From google play store

Absolutely outstanding. I downloaded more than a dozen other reddit clients after switching from iOS. I was about to give up on android altogether, but then I gave the search one more try and I'm so glad I did. I doubt there will ever be a reddit client as nice as Narwhal on iOS, but Ready sure comes so much closer than every other reddit app on Android. Great usability!

Love this reddit client, easily my favourite in terms of looks. Suggestions for the developer: please give an option of bottom of screen navigation - phones are too big these days to comfortably use the top. Also, please integrate with Reddit's favourited subs and either group them at the top or separately - it’s a bit annoying to have to either look for your favourite subs in your huge sub list or make a custom orderjust for this app. I love everything else about the app though, instant purchase

maybe it isnt as feature loaded as some of the more popular clients but this is an up and coming champion! great fluid animations that are not unlike some iOS clients! it still has a way to go but it's doing great so far!

Looks really good. Is there an option to search within a post there and I'm missing it?

There's a lot of right with this reddit app. Like the smooth animations, and working everything you would expect from the reddit website, or the choices for a dark theme. There's also not a lot that was right though. I can adjust posts font and size, but not comments text size? Give me that too. There's no granular theme customization like some other reddit app have. Can’t find any option to turn off notification from the app. There's no temporary hide read posts. Give option for bottom nav too.

Nice design but lacking features common to other apps. Settings are not account specific so it can be problematic for users with throwaways.

It's good overall, but the sidebar doesn't work and the only subreddits on the manager subreddit pager are the Front Page, All and Popular, refreshing doesn't do anything. pls add a way to share a post or comment's link Also, most of the time, when opening a link to reddit from an external source, the content doesn't load in the app.

My new favorite Reddit app :) Intuitive, customizable, and beautiful. (Gotta love that material design.) The only deature if like to see is the ability ro choose the accent color in each theme. Cheers to future updates!

could use some more customization and larger buttons, but overall, very nice to use and look at, especially compared to normal Reddit mobile

this is rhe best Reddit app but has two issues: I cant find option to change font size(its too tiny). second, if I leave the app it will go back to the top/begenning instead of where I left off.

I like the overall experience of the app. I found one bug though. If I revisit a subreddit or multireddit after few minutes, it remains empty. I have hidden read items.

For the most part, I like the design of the app but you have to login to do a lot, such as adding subreddits.

Its by far one of my fav reddit clients, only thing that it is missing atm is the ability to have user spesific settings e.g. a child account with more restrictions put in place and a normal account will fewer restrictions

Would love if the default subreddit the app opened to was customizable, instead it only goes to your frontpage. otherwise love the app, great hide read feature

I am unable to open this app. Every time I try and open, it crashes on me. I have a Samsung Galaxy S10e

Easily my favorite reddit viewer. Great app, keep up the amazing work!

Perfect design! Although the app should have an option to auto-delete cache after every time it closes / everyday etc (Cache takes an unbearable amount of internal space). Also, switching between different accounts is such a hassle since subreddits don't automatically update (I have to force closed the app for subs to update) & feeds take a VERY long time to load (~30s, sometimes 1-1.5 mins)

Missing some essential features such as being able to share to the app with share button and the ability to have suggest title for a link. otherwise its a good start

Best Reddit client for Android, came from Apollo on iOS. Slick performance and smooth animations, but imo there should be a swipe down on images to close them. Please implement it universally, thanks. Buying the pro version soon (once I save up enough lol) The buttons and stuff should be a bit bigger too as it is hard to see and difficult to press, and the layout can be cleaner. Also, if there was an option for backing up the settings, it'll make the experience better. Thanks for reading this!

Wow.. I am suprised of how nice this app is. coming from sync.. it is refreshing with nice animations. There are a few things that would make it almost perfect, the navbar should be themed aswell, there should be an option for random subreddits/nsfw subreddits and lastly subreddit icons on the right drawer if possible. If it gets the first two I would happily pay for this. Good Job dev.

Trying to write a comment is such a hassle. Turn your phone sideways in the middle of writing something? Hope you have a good memory, because everything you just wrote has disappeared. Typing something up but want to scroll to make sure you're quoting something correctly? Hope you saved all that text, because when you scroll back, it's gone!

The app is simply beautiful but crashes a lot, sadly

Great interface, though an option to have a navigation bar at the top for side scrolling through subs would be nice.

beautiful app, but doesn't appear to support 2FA during account login.

Minimal, beautiful, and fast. The best reddit app, bar none.

The developer has abandoned premium users of previous programs with no communication whatsoever. Don't think I'd trust him again.

Cant login to reddit. I keep getting error connection closed.

im not able to login it just redirects me to thr login page again

Looks copied from Sync For Reddit. Most of the UI is a direct "inspiration" from Sync.

So since this update I can't swipe right to go to the next post, this was the main reason I used this reddit app, please fix.

Saw eight sponsored posts and three real posts in the first few minutes of using the app. Uninstalled.

very small font size.

Best reddit app out there, amazing ui and all the necessary features

Freezes then closes.

Best app from the best dev ever!

Awesome. Good job.

wish it had a widget

The best Reddit client definitely, I love it. The only thing I'd wish it'd be for it to have a dedicated tablet horizontal view.

Extremely clean Reddit app, paid for premium version. However, there is a bug when searching for specific subreddits where it often pushes a Error on Load message. Furthermore a jump to top button when scrolling would be extremely helpful. Hoping the app supports the community as the community supports the app, though it seems this is the case by testing reported bus from previous versions and finding them fixed.

This app has some neat features like you can set the criteria for when a post is considered read and neat tap gestures for upvote/downvote. I like the feature that lets you "peek " at the top comments. I think the app can be improved if prefetching was customizable for subreddits and if the dark theme had more obvious separation between the parts of the screen (the comments and everything seem to mesh into the background with the blue light filter on). The color coding of the comments is harder to see, and

Video quality sometimes is very pixelated and poor, when on web it's quite normal. Image preview quality is also worse than in some other clients.

Thanks for making an app that makes me use reddit less than I should. Because it's too buggy. And I get annoyed.

Gary, please consider adding a "favorites" section to the side bar where we can have a separate list of subreddits we choose and visit most often. Several popular iOS Reddit apps like Apollo and Narhwal have this feature and I miss it so much.

There is no way to edit your comments??? Pretty important feature to be missing...

Great app!

Crashes a lot

Best client for Reddit, great design, easy to use, filters and tons of settings. One problem that I had was the refresh animation popping up every time I swipe to the next post. And one addition I would find useful is auto fill for the filters.

The app is taking up a large amount of storage. I've already cleared it but see it as useless if the app will repeat this. I don't know what you can do to fix it but if you can I will greatly appreciate it.

I just figured out how the font customizations work now. Didnt realize other options were hidden in drop menus. D'oh! This really is the best reddit app. Fast, minimal, modern, no BS.

My favourite reddit client, auto plays gifs and video, full image preview, multiple accounts. Great work!

There is a ton to love about this app when comparing to other reddit apps. I like the autoplaying gifs and videos and I really like way you can see top comments without clicking through to the post. One thing that I very much miss from Slide is the ability to jump from top level comment to top level comment within a post.

If it wasn't for a couple things... Well, one mainly. The controls on the YouTube video playback are maddening. Try to skip ahead in the video. It either mutes, freezes, or drips back to front page.

This is one of the best Reddit apps I've seen so far!

A good clean start at a Reddit app. I'd like to an option to change default sort before I can use this daily though, and a no-thumbnail compact list layout would be nice. The comment typeface is also a bit small IMO.

Nice app! Very attractive interface. Definitely needs v.reddit link support soon, these links are becoming much more common on some subs.

Very solid start. One minor issue: Remove Ads option in the side bar doesn't disappear after removing ads. A few features I'd like to see: - sort/rearrange subscribed subs / hide /r/all, /r/popular, etc. - more options for images and galleries (share, gallery size indicator (1/x), download all) - back button from sub view returning to home instead of prompting to exit - per-account settings Very impressed so far. Chipped in for the removed ads, hope to see more.

too barebones - no hide on scroll, no hiding thumbnails, no upvote/downvote buttons on posts, etc

Lovely app, easily the best UI among all the other reddit apps - smooth animations and attractive themes. But would love to see more features like image flairs instead of text, favourite subreddits and better readability for comments.

Great app, crashes about once a session though.

How do I edit comments?
