This is what a quality game looks like. It doesn't need to be 3D, it doesn't need to have DLC, and it certainly doesn't need a top notch orchestra... no, all it needs is a little chiptune love, good ol' homebrew representation, and most of all... some true dedication and appreciation, and that is exactly what this is. Best of all, even the NES rom was fun to play and worth keeping.

Reminds me of GTA 1 and 2, it's a fun little game well worth the money, the touchscreen controls can be a little hard to get used to but it never took away from the overall experience, if you like old video game's 80's/90's this is the game for you, from funny references to weapons straight out of a NES game (my fav is thd lightgun) This game offers a freeroam mode for those times when you want to just kick back and mess around with some cheat codes. A must have app to kill some time 8/10.

Good game and also own this on Steam too. Only problem I've had was getting my Xbox controller to work correctly. The game acts like I'm continually pressing up on the right stick. At first I thought it was a problem with the joypad having drift and needing an adjustable dead zone to fix. After some experimenting I found that even with the joypad unplugged after the problem started it would still continue as if I was pressed up on the stick still. I've tested for pad drift too with none found.

Cloud saving is not working... I couldn't even figure out how I manage it. Also, I tried to get in contact with the developers, but no one answered me at all.

By far one of my favorites! The classic graphics and chiptunes, and not to mention outrageous late 80s-esque humor! I love the many options that are available to tweak the game, allows for some awesome nostalgia. Love the secrets hidden throughout the city.

In story mode can't progress past the first tutorial where it asks me to choose between automatic and manual control. Nothing happens no matter what I touch.

Pixel theft auto: Chinatown wars is a remake of waveracer64. Probably the second best money I've ever spent*. An increadable, atmospheric and packed open-world just waiting to be explored. The top down style pays homage to its predesors for example: stealey Wheely automobeely. Thats it. I especially like the art style; bright, colorful and unique. If you want a good game, I don't know how you're here, but buy it. Truly a masterpiece of a game. *The best money Ive ever spent was Gromit Mug

This game is all around amazing. Controls are not bad once you modify them to your standards. Or, do what I did and use your Bluetooth Controller. Def. worth the money. Fun. Funny. Violent and one hell of a time killer. Also has high replay value. 10/10 - One of, if not my favorite mobile game.

Pleasantly surprised to see VBlank is still supporting this version of the game four years later! The DX+ update adds animated cutscenes and character portraits, eschewing the static assets of old. If I were to make one little change, it would be to allow Players to toggle between the classic and revised cutscenes/portraits as they see fit, for those inevitable purists out there.

DEVELOPMENT TEAM CAN YOU ADD TOUCH SCREEN CONTROLS BECAUSE ITS UNPLAYABLE SOON AS THE GAMEPLAY STARTS WHEN I WALK TO THE CAR IT THINKS AM USING A CONTROLLER BECAUSE IT ASKS WHAT CONTROL SETUP I WANT FOR THE CONTROLLER BUT AM NOT USING A CONTROLLER I HAVE EMAILED WEEKS AGO AND GOT NO RESPONSE...
