Adds recording feature inside your free QiBrd installation. Recording is available for any sound, it stops whenever a sound or a preset is changed. Recorded files are created as WAV files and put inside the media folder of your device. The WAV files are encoded with sample rate and bits that match the configuration of QiBrd (and of the device's hardware). Wav is the standard audio uncompressed format that is used professionally. Audio is not lossless compressed like in mp3 assuring perfect quality. Anyway, wav is not commonly used for audio playback and some devices might miss the needed codec. In that case try to download a good audio player like for example VLC. Some other time some devices (for any strange reason) can't play the WAV files UNLESS they are moved in another folder. If you cannot hear from your device the WAV files, please try to move them into another folder or use a different device / computer to hear, edit them and add them to your DAW. Watch out! Uninstalling this module disables the feature inside QiBrd. Go and create music now!

Cool app very fun to use once you figure a few things out. The potential possibilities seem can only be limited by your own imagination. Definately fun at parties and any gathering where music is going to be played. I am hopeful that new sound samples will become available in the future.

Uniquely intuitive and responsive user controls which are as functional and aesthetically pleasing as the preset instruments, and captivating user interface. (Note: It exports recorded audio to .wav files. This is not a problem. You can find plenty of apps or websites to convert wav to mp3 easily, if you want to play your recording with a device that only supports mp3. Wav files are much higher quality than mp3).

Simply Great. I spend a lot of time playing guitar accoustically and wanted a synth. This app has some really beautiful sounds, and so many. Really user friendly with a good tutorial to introduce you to the UI. If you want to spend the extra couple of quid to record your sounds I highly recommend.

Delightful, hypnotic program. Thoroughly enjoyable way of creating sometimes downright shocking music. Stability might be improved — or maybe not — I'm always using these things from an antiquated phone, and that fact accounts for half of my problems in life, let alone on the phone! Next time I'm feeling totally brain fried from having a cell phone in my face all day I'm gonna go back into this program and make some music to ease myself back into reality.

Qbird is my favorite free access synth. It has great user control over choice parameters, and a lot of options like full screen, polyphony, hold, random, and more. If i could afford the full version, i would have it. Moneys to tight to mention man. But Qbird is a fine app. Synth. I did purchase the recording extension, but i haven't really done more than record a few little ideas.

Records in a format that is nearly unusable with anything except the app itself. Need to either make the format something a little more versatile, or give users the option to select a format. I don't even know what this format is, but literally every single music player or music producing app I have will not recognize the format, which makes this a completely useless addition, and a waste of 2.50

Excellent synth. Very intuitive. The "Lead & Chords" option is particularly cool. Recorded sound quality (*.wav) is quite good but a small amount of static is sometimes audible while performing. Since the noise doesn't get recorded, I suspect it's being introduced by my phone or another process outside the audio-record thread.

I solved the problem. Qibrd works great. All it takes is a conversion to another format and the thing works. I apologize for the unnecessary excitement. I'm glad I solved it myself. Still, it would be good to be more responsive because I haven’t gotten any of their answers so far. Rating app 5 out of 5 Janko.
