Add dark mode. It crashed and it didn't save my progress. It glitches out by making the selection disappear and it didn't appear back no matter what I do. Ironically "quit" doesn't quit, it quits the current progress and I have to close the other ones too although "you sure you want to quit without saving". Ok, I'm done. It doesn't save my progress at all, good app but too many bugs.

  2. Christie-avatar

pyur Great to use as an extra resource for anyone studying Python (or one of the other programming languages), especially if you're ON THE GO! If you're like me and you don't always have a lot of time to dedicate to learning how to program, this helps kind of reinforce the concepts while you're maybe studying some other way (for me, I also watch YouTube videos, Google, etc). I don't have the time to take for a week to just study programmin, so if I skip a few days my regular studying, this really helps me recall what I was learning and whether I am grasping it or not. I have really been enjoying I think it's great practice, and really helps you understand the core concepts in a simplified way. I've tried all the coding apps, this is definitely one of the better ones. There are occasionally some bugs when you're taking the quizes, but they're very minute.

pyur störung App is pretty neat so far. (Python portion) I wish it had some audio feedback for my answers. Have run in to a bug where the sliding of answers isnt accurate when there is more than 1 box. Everything seems to go into the top box unless I hit that perfect pixel placement. Also if you are trying to be pixel perfect and release the answer out of position too low it can just up and disappear & prevent you from moving on. Also would be nice if the whole line of the arrange answers were selectable.

  4. fangirl 3031-avatar

    fangirl 3031

pyramide Fantastic consept, teaches well, and has many different kinds of code languages to learn. While using I found a glitch or bug where if I have to use blocks to fill in the blanks I will have trouble putting the lower block in if the blanks are right next to each other. Also, there is a space where if you put a block there the block will disappear. This bug does hinder my progression but otherwise I'm satisfied with the app

  5. Don Brasil Gáspár-avatar

    Don Brasil Gáspár

pyroland I love the content and concept but I think a lot of the content is very basic not enough to get started with much. In the first API test, when selecting the order of various answers for a question, the text vsnishes and can't continue to complete. When exiting overall progress is lost. Other sections had a similar behavior. I'm on a Pixel 2 :(

  6. H Potter-avatar

    H Potter

pyrenäen It's a great idea and an informative app for beginners. However I would recommend adding a bit of an explanation when questions are answers both right and wrong. At times it isn't clear. One issue I constantly had was the buttons sticking and freezing up the lesson. The bugs would have to be fixed for a higher rating.

  7. Johnny C.-avatar

    Johnny C.

pythagoras App is great for studying on the go, but I'm having problems with nearly every fill in the blank question. If I select an answer from any of the options, sometimes the answer won't populate the empty box. I have to exit the program many times, then it might work on a 2nd or 3rd try. Very frustrating. It would also be nice when missing a question to go back immediately and review and not have to wait til the end of the module. I'm running this app on a Samsung S10e.

  8. Trump Train-avatar

    Trump Train

pyjama I just started to learn python and think the app is great. The problem is that it freezes or crashes about every 3 questions. I have to quit and restart and then repeat the same questions. When I select the answer it turns gray and does not allow anything to be selected. Please fix and then I will rate this 5 stars.

  9. Lucas Rodriguez-avatar

    Lucas Rodriguez

pycharm The app is informational and interactive compared to the other coding apps I have used. However, there is a bug where one of the boxes in a "fill in the blanks" sections completely disappear out of the blue. This got annoying after a few times because I'm getting the parts wrong "by accident".

  10. Corey-avatar

pyramiden von gizeh I think this app has a lot of potential but it has some glaring bugs in it that detract from the experience. Bugs: 1) images don't load properly 2) the code blocks for answering questions can disappear so you have no choice but to quit the lesson 3) sometimes the feedback for wrong answers is really generic (e.g. "not quite") 4) your progess can be erased from past lessons if you go back and quit them besides that I think that the variery of courses is great and the explanations are good

  11. Daniel Contreras-avatar

    Daniel Contreras

I've just used it for a few minutes, but if the experience is as the first minutes then I give 10 out of 5 stars, education is free, maybe not as in depth as a course but it really does teach you some cool stuff, I personally am a full stack web developer and i am checking out the JavaScript course just to see how they explained things to new coders, and i can tell you it is easy, clean and beautiful. love the concept ans if the dev reads this, you rock, if you need any help ever contact me.

  12. kbac33-avatar

When it is working properly it is good. There is a glitch that happens very frequently (every five or six lessons) in which clicking an answer causes it permanently disappear instead of filling in the blank. The only remedy is to exit out and start the lesson over. When glitch happens multiple times in a row it is frustrating enough that I will stop using this app for a few days. Reading other reviews this is a widespread problem.

  13. Varun Eranki-avatar

    Varun Eranki

good(ok ok) app but very very glitchy. it doesn't save your progress from where you left off. if you did 3-4 tasks in a go and exit the app, it doesn't show the achievements. for example: dog["color"]="spotted"; if you by mistake select wrong options, like dog"color""spotted[] deselection works but one of the option doesn't showup for reselecting. it remains grey and you have to close the app and restart from start. I'm not naive to coding and it's like a refresher.

  14. Less Attractive Leather Face-avatar

    Less Attractive Leather Face

UI is pretty nice, but there are typos here and there as well as minor bugs, also content is sometimes too raw and do not corresponds to expectations, like when there in entrance is written 2.5 hours, actual content appears to be like 30 mins long. I hope to see further improvements, because really liked the concept.

  15. Tristan-avatar

I love this app, super useful, looks like a Duolingo for coding languages, but sadly there is a bug that makes each sequences randomly reset every time I close the app ! I'm still logged in but have to do everything from the beginning to have all 3 stars everywhere... The weird thing is that I still have every stars on level 4, 5 and 6 of basic Python, but not on 1, 2 and 3...

  16. Ahmet Berk Kavruk-avatar

    Ahmet Berk Kavruk

Guess I was a bit fast giving this app a 5 star. Lovely app for sure but it has a lot of bugs which ruins the experience drastically however I think the developer team can solve this problem so I'm turning it to a 2 star. Please get this over with guys, and also adding more free exercises would be wonderful. Much love.

  17. A Google user-avatar

    A Google user

You have no have no idea how bad i want to rate this 5 stars... The app is fantastic except for one thing that essentially breaks it. sometimes when you click an option for an answer, it doesnt show up in the answer box and still dissappears from the options area area and you have to completely restart the quiz. If this was fixed it would easily be 5 stars

  18. Kyle-avatar

Seems like half the users leaving reviews are also experiencing bugs that make the app unusable but they still gave 3+ star reviews which is weird. Fill in the blank questions constantly bug out and the answer disappears so that you have to quit out of the module and restart. Also, my progress randomly disappeared after the 2nd day. The free modules for Python (probably others too) are extremely basic/easy even for an absolute beginner. Don't waste your time.

  19. Aditya Venkata V-avatar

    Aditya Venkata V

Its ambitious app built for someone looking for duo lingo like app for programming. But unfortunately, this doesn't meet the standard even by 1% . Your session won't get saved. You need to redo the modules every time you open the app.. how crappy thing is that . Its basic testing.. how is it missed by your testers

  20. Jason Duncan-avatar

    Jason Duncan

A great introduction to multiple comp sci tools and concepts, but it is merely that, an introduction. It could include more commonly-used syntax and commands, but it's a great place to start for those wanting to start learning coding.

  21. Luca Celati-avatar

    Luca Celati

Very positive in general. I withhold the 5th star for the somewhat unclear navigation, it took me a while to understand that I had to select the space in which to insert the answer before picking the answer. In general, one of the best resources for python practice.

  22. crY Edits-avatar

    crY Edits

The courses are incredibly vague, and it doesn't teach you anything more than basic syntax or simple logic. The courses can be completed in less than 15 minutes, and it doesn't encourage the reader to practice at all, which is a pretty big deal while learning programming. It doesn't really teach you anything at all, and it has a 4.6 rating because of its minimalistic design and clear wording, which is great, but it's not the focus of the app.

  23. Michala Marková-avatar

    Michala Marková

Looks interesting. Has different programming languages to learn. I am currently doing Python. It goes from really easy stuff. Annoying is that sometimes the selections do not work and I am forced to select wrong answers.

  24. Nick .H-avatar

    Nick .H

edit: yeah not so good at all on second thought like it's really good, BUT the program has so many bugs including dissapearing content, choices get lost or muddled and you HAVE to quit the lesson, also lessons become incomplete out of nowhere... sololearn just seems better put together, but this would be a close second besides the crappy bugs

  25. Ljupce Atanasov-avatar

    Ljupce Atanasov

so far it looks really good for people trying to learn python but the only complaint that I found is the white background. I tend to use this app at night so it would be greatly appreciated if there was a night mode. Please devs make it happen it will also save me a lot of battery.

  26. Ariadna Sosa-avatar

    Ariadna Sosa

The app is nice and easy enough for somebody who knows absolutely nothing about Python or programming. It has no unnecessary ads and so far it has worked nicely on the free version. *There are no bugs at all*

  27. A Google user-avatar

    A Google user

This is one of the best apps that i have used that reach coding in such simple, easy to learn chunks. There are no ads with a minimalist UI. All in all this is one of the best apps to learn coding.

  28. Kelly O'Hara-avatar

    Kelly O'Hara

I like the puzzle design, but it's implementation has some serious issues and makes it unplayable. Add a reset page button, hilight where the inputs are intended to go when tapping and fix the hidden areas absorbing the inputs to make it comfortable to play.

  29. Jared-avatar

Some bugs with courses not accepting answers and having to close and start that course again. Forces vertical mode on my tablet which makes it hard to use. Running it in dex mode to force horizontal mode, but then scrolling through the courses doesn't work.

  30. Sydju-avatar

Loving the app! However 4 stars because alot of the time, content disappears leaving me unable to progress and forcing me to start over with the subject. If this bug gets fixed, deffo a 5 star and I will get the premium function to learn even more!

  31. Fluffy Brook-avatar

    Fluffy Brook

There is a bug where the selected answer do not display on the box. To resolve the problem, i need to do the following that consumes time: close Py, reopen Py, retry the lecture quiz, if it happen again, redo the solution until the answer display properly.

  32. Robyn Burgess-avatar

    Robyn Burgess

Buggy program that seems to break whenever there are 2 or more fill in the blanks. Otherwise, smart coding app that's engaging and not too dumbed down - the exercises make you pay attention.

  33. Peter Wharton-avatar

    Peter Wharton

As a learning tool it's really good, but the app itself is flawed. Hasn't saved my progress and I don't want to start from the beginning out of necessity. Uninstalling and looking for a better alternative.

  34. Marisa Sawatphadungkij-avatar

    Marisa Sawatphadungkij

Everything is well made and clear. The only problem is that when you drag words. Sometimes the words disappear when dragging them. But overall I think everything else is good.

  35. Joe Heitzenrater-avatar

    Joe Heitzenrater

This was a fantastic idea, but as many people mentioned, there are too many bugs... after third time of restarting my progress, I'm finished with it.

  36. Eric Frye-avatar

    Eric Frye

The app was great until it deleted my progress. I was on the last challenge of Python tutorial getting ready to start my first excersise. Now I have no complete levels and would have start over. Glad I haven't paid for the premium access yet.

  37. Kabiru Adejare-avatar

    Kabiru Adejare

Arguably the best app on programming that practically moves one being a novice to being a basic programmer within the first few exercises. Very interactive and excellent interface. You'll love it!

  38. Shubham Thakur-avatar

The app is good and neat but find a way to make it more affordable. Quality material is locked and the subscription cost is too much.

  39. Dominik Adrian Grzywak-avatar

Weird bugs. I cannot login back because it says my email matches no account, and cannot register because it says to login or try another email. Password recovery doesn't send any emails. What the hell is going on?

  40. Yash Kuwade-avatar

    Yash Kuwade

it's a brilliant app. very smooth. it's specifically useful for procrastinators like myself. But it is too overpriced at Rs650 a month.

  41. Atlas Oleksa-avatar

    Atlas Oleksa

A decent teaching app with a layout like a popular free language learning app. -1 star for the education paywall. Perhaps charge for extra chances at getting 3 stars on a chapter if you fail more than X times per day?

  42. Chris-avatar

Simple and comprehensible. Great for giving a beginner such as myself a feel for the language. A fine starting point for learning a programming language.

  43. Olu S-avatar

    Olu S

Good and an excellent way of teaching the principles but it's really buggy, can't click certain things and others disappear completely then I have to start all over again

  44. Melanie Szabo-avatar

I just started like 5 minutes ago and I'm already loving the way it teaches you. I'm not much of a reader but a visual learner and also being able to interact with it. plus, all the different courses you can choose from. me and my husband are code buddies and I will definitely be putting this app on his phone.

  46. Tyler Vartabedian-avatar

doesn't save progress, very glitchy, and incredibly expensive to upgrade to premium. forces you to create an account too. like the idea of the app however

  47. Mahmoud Hamdy-avatar

it's a great tool for a newbie like me. there's an issue, nevertheless, on many occasions when I choose an answer it disappears.

  48. Em 88-avatar

Great, even though drag drop works only 2% of the time. Not a big enough problem to deter me from the app. Thank you!

  49. Tyler March-avatar

    Tyler March

Works very poorly on my LG G6, some exercises are simply not allowed me to input the answers especially ordering and selecting more than one multiple choice when the question asks for it. Not unusable, but pointlessly annoying. Uninstalled.

  52. Robin Wootton-avatar

  56. Alexey Underwood-avatar

Doesn't save progress, a pretty basic function for a program and ironic given what the app aims to teach. Otherwise a fairly nice, tidy learning app.

  57. Brandon Elliott-avatar
