Having to do the numerical analysis part on a small smart phone screen was really annoying. I think it would have been better to have the 'games' on the smart phone, and have a separate link to the tests that we could do on our laptops. I don't think I have ever missed as many questions as I did during this numerical test. The numbers and charts are just too close together making it hard to read.

This has to be the worst way to test candidates ever. I understand that it is somewhat backed up by scientific evidence, but honestly the games are so mind-numbingly boring. Whether I succeeded at this stage or not, I would be put off joining any company that used these kinds of test. Other tests actually relevant to real work are far more enjoyable. Maybe this test reflects how torturous and tedious working for these companies actually is, in which case it does an excellent job.

I'd be really interested to see some peer-reviewed publications showing evidence that this approach actually works. There were the usual online tests (basic maths) featured but the rest was largely testing your reaction speed. I am open-minded and happy to be proved wrong but I really cannot see how the majority of the elements tested would have any relevancy to a professional working situation. I was able to access a report afterwards, and the traits I had apparently demonstrated were not accurate, and I don't think anyone who knew me at all would make any similar assessments. The app itself is fairly low quality, reminding me of flash games from 20 years ago. The audio is really irritating, repetitive and distracting. Poor, waste of time! Do not bother with this unless you are desperate for a career with PwC for whatever reason.

While, unlike others, I understand the meaning behind this, I disagree with the way this is handled. At the end you receive a report on your analysis, but you are not informed informed what was wrong. For example, I was scored very highly for "thinking outside the box" but it doesn't tell me whether that is good or bad in this case. How am I to know what went wrong? Seeing as this makes an impact on my future, I dare say it's a large overlook.

How a large multimillion dollar company decides to use a game with zero relevance (apart from the final segment) to jobs in accountancy or finance is beyond me. I'm a student looking for a experience with professionals and yet blowing up balloons and pressing buttons to match the shape or colours shown does not seem to be an apt way of evaluating my capabilities in an office job. Whatever happened to CVs and interviews, face to face with your employees and clients. As far as I can tell this company has lost a lot of credibility by taking on such a poor concept.

I went through some weeks back The other reviews here currently that talk about having no relevance to the job and ask for interviews, miss the point of this exercise entirely. This game tests your behavioural traits. You'll gain an understanding having read your feedback report after. As for experience and the process being CV orientated. Bare in mind this is for an entry level graduate scheme where people from all backgrounds have the option to apply. You'll have plenty of time to learn the technicalities. As for interviews and the human side of the process, those will come in the subsequent stages.

I felt like this game was testing my reflexes rather than actual ability to perform in a job. Also I finished with 8100 points and when I checked back it said 7100 (I know they are working on this, people have had this issue and overall, it does not affect submitted score but come on, no one at QA seen this?) Overall, just a disappointing and frustrating experience. To end on a positive note however, the app looked pretty.

The fun aspect of this disappear when you have to complete the same game for multiple companies. This game is junk science. Yes some psychological experiments upon which this game has been built are valid. However no such research has been carried out to assess the combined effect of putting together isolated experiments. Certainly nothing has been done to prove it's effectiveness in hiring. Regardless of the science this is a great drain of time compared to other non-game based tests.

I cant comment specifically for this version of the game but I played the desktop version. I thought to leave a rating here to warn people who may use the PC version expecting any better than the impression left for the mobile app version. It might be one of the buggiest, least user friendly applications I have ever had the displeasure of using. I dont necessarily have a problem with the exercises and content, but the delivery is truly shocking. Constant crashes on the app need to be fixed.

I don't mind playing the games on my phone, and can understand that they measure interesting behaviours, such as attention, ability to bounce back and strategic planning, but doing a numerical reasoning assessment on a phone, especially when the formatting is not good makes no sense. There is a clear advantage here for those that simply have larger phones! I have worked with UX for mobile devices, and this design decision is just terrible. Try playing it on an iphone se or z5 compact PwC!
