Pure Dark 5.0 theme for EMUI 9.1 is different and cannot be updated from older EMUI system. There are many graphical compromisses, because status bar icons and navigation bar icons are not visible on a black background on devices with LCD displays (without Dark Mode).

The theme is designed especially for devices with LCD display (without Dark mode), but can be used for all devices with EMUI 9.1.

Fix for white bars in Huawei File Manager app or others: Go to Settings - Smart assistance - Accessibility and disable item Advanced visual effect. Reboot device to take effect!

still need fixing for about a year now since i first posted these bugs on (1) cell broadcast, background & text are both white (the highlight green is ok); & (2) wallpaper open with live wallpaper picker, background & text are both black. other black on black here and there too. shifted to evanescence theme for the time being. tsk tsk..

I found this bug in Pure Dark Black 5.0 theme when I'm in default Gallery(photos/videos) I can't use the filters in Edit mode, it's fine when I use Total Eclipse theme.

I love the update but still got an issue in some apk. I used Huawai Honor 8 Pro emui 9.1 but in my phone the APP GALLERY backgrounds has some miss balance in colour.. Wish the update resolve this.... Thanks

It's a very good app for dark theme there's some glitches here and there but compared to other apps this is the best that's why it deserves a 5 star rating

Some apps unable to see navigation keys, white navigation keys on white banner or black navigation keys on dark grey banner. Most other apps are fine for me.

Notification panel and music player is not dark. File manager home icon (music, app, video, zip, and image) not good.

Up till now, this is the dark theme that has readable colours on notifications. Others dark themes, sometimes has bad colours on notifications that made it difficult to read cause foreground and background colours almost the same.

The theme looks and works great on my Nova 3e! Unfortunately, straight after installing it Chrome started crashing when I try to search for anything. Not sure why/how the theme could have caused this but it wasn't doing this before I applied it.

It's very helpful. But all clocks are very bad. Because we can't see the "Seconds" in a main clock; world clock and stopwatch. Place dicing the "Seconds" in main clock; world clock and stopwatch in 2020.👍.

I had really hard time finding this theme in store. When I go to all apps by hanni, I see maybe 2 themes. Found it with a link from some webpage. Really grrat theme, well optimised for EMUI 9.1 on my P20. Thanks mate!
