PulsePoint Respond is a 911-connected app that can immediately inform you of emergencies occurring in your community and can request your help when CPR is needed nearby./n/nPulsePoint helps create an informed and engaged community that drives a “Culture of Action,” a key strategy in strengthening the Chain of Survival for cardiac arrest victims. In addition to nearby “CPR-needed” notifications, you can choose to be notified of significant events that may impact you and your family. These informational notifications provide an early heads-up to local threats such as wildland fires, flooding and utility emergencies. You can even monitor live dispatch radio traffic for most PulsePoint-connected communities with a simple tap on the speaker icon./n/nPulsePoint currently provides coverage for thousands of cities and communities, with many more on the way. For more information, visit pulsepoint.org, contact us at [email protected], or join the conversation at Facebook and Twitter./n/nPulsePoint not yet available in your community? Although we are working hard to make public safety agencies aware of PulsePoint, you can help by expressing interest to your local fire chief, EMS official, and elected officials such as your mayor, council member or supervisor. A simple note, phone call or public meeting comment would ensure that they are aware of PulsePoint. We have found that City Hall does listen and is quite willing to bring PulsePoint to the community./n/nPulsePoint is a 501(c)(3) public non-profit foundation.

Great for knowing what is happening. Unfortunity it can only handle 1 district at a time. I live on edge of two different districts so could really use ability to select more than one district. *** update*** received response from developer. App now does allow more than one agency. At time of install, only one agency allowed which was a common complaint at the time. App is on auto update so must have been upgraded when I wasn't looking. Now can watch out all around me - THANKS -

Love the info provided by the app; however, with the update to this latest version, my notifications come but not with sound. Please fix this! It's my only issue at this point. After following explicit instructions yesterday to ensure that app was not one of those optimized or affected by Data Saver (which was not on) I continue to have the same issue, speaker does not stay on if it comes on at all once I receive an alert.

Has has worked well until recently when I stopped getting notification alerts. The incident notification appears, but with no alerting ring or sound. I did the notification troubleshooting and ran multiple tests. The results were the same. It's shows that tests were run, but with no alerting sounds.

It's great to have info when you hear sirens close by, though I can tell if it's a fire or medical emergency other than that I Don't know the coding or understand this app. My niece prompted me to get this after we were unaware we were in danger from the cold storage fire in Puyallup WA. I'm not sure though if this app would have gave me the info that we were to evacuate?

As a worker for a private service emt company that is contracted out through public services, it is an amazing convenience to be able to see what units are already on scene and how many calls are open and waiting for us. This app lets me be that much more prepared for what is going to happen on scene. It shows traffic for easier personal routing when transporting patient's and is super easy to use. 10/10 as a EMS professional. I certainly recommend.

The list works great. I've been using this app for the last 6 years. Lately however, the scanner feature has been somewhat broken. I'd start up the scanner and the audio stream works fine for a minute, but then it starts getting choppy and inaudible. I would turn the scanner off and on again and then the audio becomes clear until another minute passes by and the same choppy audio problem occurs.

Very cool and informative app! Has been very accurate and quick to show incidents to keep you well up to date about happenings in your area. The only improvement I'd like to see is the ability so view multiple agencies at once for incidents on the map or in a list (I live right near the boundary between two agencies, so I have to constantly toggle between the two from a drop-down to see all activity around me)

In the last two weeks pulse point no longer has been sending audio notifications. I've check all of my phone settings and it's not the phone. So disappointing! Now I miss important events that have happened.

Great if you don't want to be glued to a scanner and want to know what's going on near you or a good of concern. Some delay in posting. Minor though. Simple app. Recommend.

Good scope on this app, you are able to monitor emergencies in your surrounding areas and keep informed. I downloaded it as a forewarning system and although we haven't been in real danger, with last years and this years fire seasons, should anything happen (I hope not 🙏🏻) we will be able to make the right decisions to keep us all out of harms way.
