    I have tried using this app twice now and have yet to get food. The first time was because they listed a restaurant that was actually closed, I had to call customer service to cancel the order. Just now, I ordered two sandwiches from subway. They said it was taking longer than normal because supposedly Subway needs more than an hour to make two sandwiches. They told me "Logan" was at the restaurant. 20 minutes after the "latest delivery time," my order was cancelled due to lack of drivers. Awful

    We ordered food from this app on Friday March 19, 2021. One week later the app still shows the driver as out for delivery and I can see their exact address 600 miles away. It seems like the driver never delivered the food because we were tracking them and they headed in the opposite direction after picking the food up. We contacted the restaurant who confirmed they picked it up. We complained to PostMates via the app who never got back to us. We tried their public number as well. Busy signal.

    If you enjoy paying more then 3x the amount of an order this is the service for you. Also over 90% of the time our orders are wrong. If im paying $60(+tip for driver) for a $20 order it should be right. It has made me enjoy going to get the food myself and making sure it was right before I get home. So I repeat if you like paying 3x the amount for the wrong order go for it.

    Their coupons aren't accurate. They offered 30% off and I had an $87 order but they only offered to take off $6 which were only the delivery fees. 30% would be a $26 discount but they only wanted to decrease the price by $6. They should have just offered free delivery since that's the only thing they were willing to cover. Their service fees are way too high!

    I wish I could sit here and tell you this app used to be good. But for a 20 dollar order at any restaurant or less you'll be paying above 50 for it here. The food 75% will be wrong, or cold, or contain some level of food poisoning. The customer service is a joke, had a $40+ order where the food I received was genuinely lawsuit worthy. I don't recommend this overpriced app that steals money left and right. Honestly surprised there isn't a class action already.

    Poor service. If you don't get your full order, they do nothing about the items you're owed. That was one incident that happened. Another issue I had is, I purchased drinks from T4. The driver dumped my whole order. I was refunded the amount. I tried reorder the same exact order. It cost more than the refunded amount. Some bull.. Why should I be charged for another person's mistake? Needless to say I deleted the app and won't be using it again.

    The app lies constantly. Says the merchant is taking longer than expected with your order, but when you call the merchant they inform me that the food has been ready and waiting. When I was finally reached out to by postmates support, which take their time replying, they then informed me that drivers are not in the area. Then they try to ask if u wana cancel the order after waiting 2 hours for the food. No I dnt wana cancel the order, I wana eat food. It's why I ordered. There's always an issue.

    Would give 0 stars if possible, absurd insane fees. Didn't used to be there. Now there's an upcharge on every single item (via postmates, not the actual restaurant), the booking fee or whatever they call it (which should go directly and entirely to the driver. Does not, they get a percentage based on whether you tip), then some random and unexplained "taxes and fees", which can literally add 46% of the subtotal to the final total with no explanation of why or what that charge does. Insanity.

    In my experience of honestly probably over 100 orders, it's been about 65/35 on my order actually being correct. The 65 being incorrect. I've used other delivery apps and have had better luck, still common mistakes but nowhere near as much as postmates. During a pandemic this is especially frustrating, if you have covid you can't go out at all. And if you're order is incorrect there is nothing you can do but order again or put others at serious risk.

    1/2 star. I live in an area that doesn't have postmates. When I visit my son in another city they have it and I have ordered from them that was some months ago. Tell me why when I opened the app to see if anything changed, they charged me 9.99 for a membership. I didnt ask for the membership. I contacted postmates and they said that they wont refund my money. I am so pissed. Why would I want a membership or pay monthly for a membership I can't use when using your card! SCAM

    Probably the worst delivery app out there, use DoorDash or UberEats if you're looking for cheap dining, especially at night. This company will upcharge almost double the amount for delivery ($18, for a place not even 2 miles from me). Yes I understand that is due to how many people are available to deliver... but I then decided to cancel, as my coupon only took off $6 (due to their "Blitz" at the time being). I then could not use the coupon for another order, although I did not order any food.

    Horrible customer service. Our order was missing an item and when we called customer support our wait time was 45min. Waited about 20 minutes and then got a notice our wait time was now 50min. It's been over an hour and still waiting and it keeps saying estimated wait is 40-55 min. Then my wife found on their support site that if an item is missing or damaged you need to take it up with the restaurant. I'll stick with doordash.

    Awful! Worst experience ever! I would give Postmates a negative rating of possible. Very first time using, and an hour and half after i ordered the food I am informed my order was canceled, no driver. So not only is my dinner not arriving, now the price of my order can take 7 days to reverse the charge???? I am sorry I wasted my time and money.

    The cost for delivery is wildly questionable. I ended up just buying into the 10.00 a month free delivery, i think that was they're plan with that anyway, i see you "postmates". I feel when placing your order there should be a better section for "add on", or extras. I mean for the ending total to be kind pricey some times you should let the person have a better say in if the want extra pickles. Just my thoughts in 500 letters, or less.

    Just downloaded the app and made my first order. Not only do they change the delivery fee when you review your cart to order but they also assigned my order to a driver over a half hour away. So by the time I'd get my food it would be gross and disgusting. I can't even cancel the order cause theyll charge me for it since the restaurant has already started preparing it! This is complete bs! Will be deleting after I get my money back!

    This app is horrible. There is basically no way in getting contact with customer support. They also charged me $30 for a slice of pizza before tax and delivery. They then tried to say the merchant prices went up but upon calling the merchant the item is $5. Worst customer service and will never use the app again because of it.

    I like the app but postmates does overcharge you quite a bit. For example, the other day I was going to place an order which came out to be $41 before taxes. I have unlimited (free deliveries), decided to go in person and place the exact same order instead, my total came out to be $33 out the door. So postmates was going to over charge me by $10, plus the tip to the driver. So I saved at least $15 dollars by going myself. Might cancel my subscription now.

    I'm honestly considering unsubscribing from the unlimited membership because it just isn't worth having cold food and missing items each time. I ordered subway thinking "what could go wrong? Atleast what I want can't get cold." So I of course had to add an extra drink to avoid the small cart fee, only for them to never give me any of the drinks I ordered. Don't even get me started on the horrible wait times for delivery, probably why all your food shows up cold...

    Not only are they overpriced, but, they also charge temp authorization payments on every order, which it takes nearly 5 days to come back on your card... They also locked me out of my account when I was trying to order something for no reason and never helped me to unlock it, even after two weeks of calling/emailing. You're better off getting your food delivered elsewhere, like Doordash or Grubhub.

    This app is a disgrace. I have postmates unlimited subscription and I had 3 drivers misteriously disappearing with my order THIS MONTH. Can't contact the drivers or talk to a human in customer service. They auto refund and that's it. No compensation for wasting one hour of your time, no "we screwed up again and here is what we are doing to make it right". It's like "yeah.. this happens, take your money back in credit so u can order again and have the same terrible experience'

    This is the absolute worst in user experience amongst the food ordering apps. The app keeps crashing when I don't allow using location. When I follow the ad online and try to order, it doesn't take the advertised promo code and also keeps routing me back to input my address. Absolute worst. Given the fees are the most expensive at least you can offer a more seamless experience?

    First time using, easy to use. I watched my driver go the opposite direction and took about 25 minutes longer. I believe he had a delivery from same restaurant but different platform like Grubhub. Food got here finally, but it was ice cold. Tried microwaving it up but it just had that left over food taste now. Contact support, never contacted me back. Use GrubHub, they are easy to contact for problems.

    3/26/21: Can't delete an address. 3/12/21: After receiving order, app takes you through the tip and feedback process. If you hit Back w/o leaving tip, the app completely closes the tip option. So I accidentally wind up not being able to tip my Deliverer at all. And I lose sleep over that, figuratively... _ 2/12/21: Right before you place the order, there should be a "Special Instructions" section, so you can write something like "page for John" or "ring the doorbell NO MORE THAN THRICE".

    Experience lots of problems with this service. Delays, food delivered to the wrong address, delivery drivers not following instructions, drivers disappearing with my food, etc. The delivery times on the app are way off, it is usually double the time that it says, and sometimes more. Do not expect the food to be warm! It's a good idea but needs a lot of work on Postmate's part to be more streamlined.

    An error happening once, twice, okay, but after that, your app has a coding/algorythem issue. Your app has chosen a location much further away, you dont have all food options availble..even when avl. I've now been waiting to eat for almost (3) hrs due to your system errors & poor resloution through customer service line. Love constantly having cold food from you in LA. Oh, and my last Venice they left it next door w/no text it was delivered; had to figure it out Too many issues, deleting

    The app is great. However the customer service is terrible. My postmates driver didn't drop off all of my items, I was supposed to get two bags and I only got one with the drinks in it. When I made the report requesting to get the refund back postmates denied my claim and refused to refund me. I suggest dont let your postmates driver leave before you check to make sure you received everything.

    I placed two orders on March 19th, waited for two hours on each order and only one of them was delivered, the other canceled after waiting for 2 hrs and 10 mins. I tried to contact support through the app on 2 separate occasions but neither was answered. Once you submit a request for help, you can't change it and you can't contact them in any other way. What is this? 2007?

    If given the opportunity negative 5 stars! I've unsubscribed from the unlimited over 3 months ago, and I've been consistently charged for their unlimited membership, after searching for over 30 minutes I finally found the customer service number(they must be hiding it for a reason) and when on the line I was charhed again! If you want to waste money and receive a headache for no reason please use their service!

    Good luck reporting an issue (like the restaurant you ordered from is closed). The text box is broken and you can't actually tell them what's wrong. There's also a notable lack of a phone number to call with corner-case issues. Edit: Ended up having my bank dispute the charge for 'services not rendered' which ended up with Postmates freezing my account. This didn't stop them from charging me for another month of premium though. I will now have to wait for the month to end and dispute that charge as well. This company is a mess and support is awful. Avoid at all costs. Edit 2: Apparently Postmates was bought by Uber in mid 2020 which explains why it all went downhill. My original recommendation stands. Avoid at all costs.

    Wait times are always insanely high, as are delivery fees as compared to other apps. Had unlimited to avoid the hefty fees ($20 to deliver from a place not even a mile away, with the sevice fee already being $10?), no clue why i didn't cancel before now. I know Uber is the parent company now but honestly the ubereats delivery and fee charges are lower as are wait times, plus an actual functional system in place to cancel orders BEFORE the restaurant closes and I can't even drive to get my food.

    The app was great for a while but recently they changed it. I used to be able to order double of an item but now it won't let you order. You have to select 2 different items to be able to continue or however many is required. Edit: It's gotten even worse. I can't order double of anything without it copying over from the original item and not letting me change things. Had to switch to DoorDash. Might cancel my subscription too.

    Sometimes no postmates in area and it still allows an order to go thru(even tho no postmates available), charge a card, and you have to wait for a refund even tho it was a cancelled order.. also, sometimes the order is NOT correct and pistmates only wants to do a 5$ (or so) credit... if an order is incorrect then u shouldn't be given a $5 refund... this has happened to me more times than not....

    Yesterday, and for the fourth or fifth time AT LEAST, my drinks were not delivered. The app allowed me to submit this problem and then lists the problem as resolved- without doing anything. THEY LITERALLY STEAL YOUR MONEY. They don't have any navigation to simply contact representatives about the issues. Not only that but many drivers have deli my food to the wrong addresses and left-not following any of the delivery instructions. It's pretty risky to use an unreliable company like this.

    Postmates sends you random promotions all the time that don't actually save you the amount they say they will. My last code said "save 50% on your next order". My total savings once everything is said and done? 30%. No terms and conditions to say why the full promo amount didn't apply, no customer service response for a week now, and this just happens again and again. Plus prices are marked up for every item you order compared to in store. Google "honest delivery services" and use them instead

    Be VERY careful using this service. I have used multiple times without issue, but today, I order 3 meals for myself & a couple of co-workers. An entire $10 meal was missing, but Avery with customer support "generously"offered to deduct $2.53 from my total. Hopefully, I will only be charged for what I received, but I'm not feeling good about it. Also, sometimes Postmates holds only a few $s extra & sometimes (today) they hold double. BEWARE!!!

    Horrible, I ordered my food and it was over an hour and switched drivers 5 times and then cancelled on me. Then I ordered for a different place and had to wait another hour and the time it said it's coming and no one has even picked up the order and it's been over an hour now. Either get more drivers , have more communication with the restaurants, or just stop using this all together. I think for now on we will be using a differently delivery app. Not to mention the drivers are rude.

    This is the worst delivery app I've ever used. Items constantly come with missing items, or don't arrive entirely, and YOU DONT GET REFUNDED FOR IT. I've ordered from my local Tacos place four times, all of them arrived more than an hour late and I only got my order twice, and I've never been refunded despite trying to contact support. Do not use this app.

    When the restaurant you want is available, Postmates is great. The problem we have is trying to understand why some restaurants are listed as "No Postmate Nearby", but they would have to pass that specific restaurant to deliver from one that is currently available. We would love an explanation for this issue.

    For whatever reason, my account was shadow banned from getting orders. I imagine it's because a couple of times the driver would never show or the food was completely incorrect and I would file reports. Suddenly my orders would be cancelled an hour after placing them every time. I was a long time user and ordered several times a week through here, but this policy of alienating good customers with bad experiences is just beyond dumb

    My overall experience with this app has been wonderful. There have been a few issues with drivers marking my order as delivered when, in fact, it hadn't been. This issue, however, has been far and few in between. Customer service has, thus far, resolved every one of those situations to my satisfaction.

    I've used postmates many times. Sometimes it works well. But many times the food was over an hour late and cold. They have no customer service number so you are hung out to dry once your order is placed. Good luck. Out of all the delivery services this is one of the worst. Most of them at least have a way to contact customer service.

    Until recently I have had good experiences with Postmates, however as of late I have been charged twice for an order that I only ordered once, so far I'm up to 3 orders being charged twice in the same week for the same exact amount so instead of being charged for 3 orders i have been charged 6 times. I email'd Postmates and there has been one response with a message talking about pending charges which I am aware of. What is new and frustrating is the repeated attempts from them to charge 2x.

    If you can actually get your order accepted, good luck getting it delivered without being canceled 6 times. And when the food may actually arrive, your order will be wrong and the food will be luke warm at the very best. This app over charges and is NOT anywhere close to consistent. You are better off ordering somewhere else.

    Cancellations after waiting an hour! I have had multiple situations now where I order, and am waiting for food and about an hour after I order, it gets cancelled! You need to change your procedure to make sure this is fixed. It you are going to cancel, do it sooner! Maybe within 15 minutes so I can order from somewhere else without waiting an entire hour!

    Signed up for unlimited because of a promotion for 3 months. My credit card expired before the end of the promo. When I tried to cancel I was only given the option to update my credit card, absolutely no option to cancel the stupid expensive service at all. I sent an email but, only ever get automated responses. It said in the email to reply to get a person and never got a reply. Then they charged me through Google pay which I did not approve and never used Google pay for the service.

    Love the convenience of having food delivered to me. I especially like that Postmates has frequent discount codes you can apply to your order. It's just annoying that if you click on the notification for the code and you're not exactly using it at the moment that it seems to disappear. So when you finally do want to order it is not automatically applied and I tend to forget what the code was. Now I take screen shots of the notifications to refer back to later.

    Postmates cancels half my orders and the other have arrive cold and wrong. The support staff are not friendly or helpful. Last time my order was wrong, he said to take it up with the restaurant because it's not their problem if the order is wrong. The app only refunded me $2 and change on a $35 order. When they cancel orders, they don't do it immediately, they wait an hour and then cancel it. Usually by that time, all of the other restaurant options are closed.

    It's almost like the app is set up for delivery drivers to easily get away with stealing orders. Had an order stolen and there is no option for a refund, only postmates credit. There isn't even a way to contact anyone aside from email, which is pretty sketchy in my opinion. I do not want to continue using an app that won't even refund stolen items. I've had items not show up on other apps and they are quick to issue a refund. This app will straight up steal from you.

    This app is incrediblly intrusive I only want notifications when I place an order. I do not want any other notifications. You can not select the notifications you want to turn off. It will always say there is a network connection error. There is no error as I uninstalled and reinstalled the app to debug. The only conclusion is that postmates wants to keep spamming you.

    This app interacts poorly with Google maps. Customer and merchant addresses are poorly updated if ever, which leaves you driving to what you believed to be restaurant only to find an empty lot or blank building. The app plays the mario world game over music whenever an order gets canceled which imo is the first hint that this app is clearly not for adult use. AVOID using postmates if you value your time.

    This app used to be one of the better delivery apps. In the past 10 orders I have made with them there were either missing items or delays so long the food is no longer safe to eat in every single one. The customer service is pathetic. After I failed to receive multiple items totally more than 20 dollars I was offered a 2 dollar delivery credit rather than a refund. Do not waste your time. This app will only bring you pain.

    Postmates is a rip-off! Delivery fees are false. It may say, 99cent delivery for example, but then when you go to checkout, the fees are 3-6xs higher than originally stated.     Just used for the first time and was very disappointed. After waiting an hour with the app saying the meal was being prepared. Once the latest delivery time hit, the app updated to say the restaurant needed extra time to prepare my order. After another 15 minutes I called the restaurant and they said they never received my order. If there was an issue with driver availability then say that, don't lie and say the restaurant needed more time.

I have used all of the food delivery apps but Postmates is the only one where they constantly get your order wrong (mostly because the driver orders the food instead of the order going to the restaurant). Almost every other time I try to order something, right as I hit send, it hits me with a "there aren't any postmates close enough"(I live downtown in a very large city). Or after I order well over an hour before a restaurant closes, then an hour later when my food hasn't arrived i check the app and my order was canceled because "they're not open" even when I call and they are open. I'm so tired of getting through the entire ordering process for nothing.

My husband had an order that the driver said they delivered 12 HOURS later, but even then order was not received. We were unable to cancel on our end because we'd be charged. Unable to get ahold of anyone at customer service/billing. Definitely would not recommend, uninstalling now.

    Never get my full order, orders always take longer than expected, and the app is always glitchy. It will let me go all the way through an order just to tell me that there is no Postmate nearby, it will not show my promo codes, and other issues. Also, lately delivery fees have been $15+. That is so beyond ridiculous it's laughable. You want to charge me $20 delivery for a $25 order? No thanks, won't be using the service again

    This is really one of the worst apps/services ever. If you don't get your order or get the wrong order there's nothing you can do except get a refund. I waited 50 minutes for a burrito and ended up with bubble tea left at my door. You can't send it back, you can't get your original order. There are also so many other hidden fees that unlimited isn't actually a deal. On top of that, there's no way to actually know or guess what everything will cost until you're just about to pay. NOT WORTH IT.

Between markups and fees it's become less and less practical over the years as they've had to start charging more of what the service actually costs to provide.     Pros: The custom menu item option is really useful for ordering. It has a wider map/range to order from than other delivery stuff. Cons: Sort of disorganized. If you order something and they don't have a driver or the restaurant isn't open they'll still take two hours to let you know your order isn't coming. They also list a lot of restaurants that are now permanently closed. Even when drivers cancel the order cause the restaurant doesn't exist anymore, the site still keeps it up as an option.

    Customer service has been extremely slow. No way to actually call and talk to anyone, you have to submit a report and wait (and wait, and wait) to hear anything back. I had a driver call me and tell me I needed to cancel my order because they accepted it by mistake, then said they couldn't get to the restaurant. No way to reach customer service to try to get this resolved more quickly and I've now had that money tied up for a week (b/c it counts against me for cancelling).

    If the restaurants or drivers mess up your order too many times you will get an email saying due to your account history you will no longer receive refunds. Yet they give no way for you to prove the order was wrong so you'll be stuck paying full price for missing or wrong items. Meaning you could be a family of five and receive food for one and still have to pay for the missing food. This is even if you pay for their monthly plan.

    it's great, if your food shows up. just as over priced as all the apps. the "discount" codes seem to refresh the total to a higher amount, bringing it back to the original price once applied. if your order is cancelled/ can't be fulfilled, the drivers don't communicate, and when you reach out to them, they Always try to get YOU to cancel on your end, causing a fee.

    If your driver takes your food to the wrong place, they won't just contact the driver or anything to see where it is. They'll just refund you in the next day so you don't get your food at all and have to reorder entirely. Super inconvenient for people working late who don't get the option to reorder at all by the time they tell you your food has been delivered when it hasn't. This is the second time I've had to miss a meal entirely because of this issue and not everyone is able to go out.

    EVERY order has had an issue so far. First order arrived late and was freezing cold.. Postmates support was not at all helpful and offered me a $2 refund on a $50+ order!! Second time i ordered.. A post mate driver accepted the order but then never picked it up. An hour after i placed my order, i get a notification that my order has been canceled because it was never picked up. Postmates DOES NOT vet their drivers. DoorDash and GrubHub are MILES ahead of Postmates. I will NEVER use them again.

I just hope later in future that they give you the option to get refunded or remake food to be delivered again. Without waiting for a refund. Refund can take to long to get back on card.     Between Postmates, Uber Eats, and Grubhub, Postmates has got to have the most unhelpful and aggravating customer service options. I ordered food from a restaurant less than 5 minutes from my house, a driver accepted the order and then stayed parked in the restaurant parking lot for one whole hour. After thirty minutes I reached out to support and received nothing back. The driver finally showed up with a fish sandwich that was hard as a brick, and now I cannot get a refund from Postmates.

I paid for unlimited and thought I would be given better service but I was wrong. I am going to cancel and just pick up my food from now on. They need to find better couriers who will utilize their GPS to find the right house, or atleast call you when and if they can't locate it.

    Don't ever use this service! You can't get a hold of customer service at all. If you do place an order and cancel immediately like they tell you u can they still automatically charge it to whatever card you use and just let it stay pending in your account for days. They also charge you like 10$ extra of what you spend but will take it off whenever the feel like it. I would never recommend this service to anyone!

    Don't use if your from OK, over the last 3 months I have had to report every order for issues, from food not being what I ordered to the drivers not being able to find my place which I have given specific instructions on how to find it. Drivers don't attempt to contact you & they will leave the food somewhere random, not only a waste a food but its essentially littering. Delivery training needs to be updated or changed! Quite unacceptable considering Uber eats doesn't have this issue here.

When we reported it in the app they just gave a credit for our purchase amount for a future order. I contacted customer support 3 times by email (that's the only contact option available) requesting that I be refunded my money. They have not responded once and have basically stolen my money.     Postmates has a policy where they'll just refuse to issue refunds if you report too many order issues. I certainly understand the need for such a policy, especially in these weird times where people abuse refunds, but with mistakes being more common you're bound to reach their mysterious limit. Be prepared to pay for things you did not receive. Expect late night orders to arrive late. DO NOT order from Jack in the Box, they rarely get an order right.

And they cancel at the same time the delivery is scheduled to arrive, so you have to wait almost an hour to even know if you're going to get your food.     Lots of bugs for simple features, and they charge absurd high delivery fees although I am an unlimited member, what's the point of the membership tiers? I use it a lot in the past since they were considerate with refunds when there are issues with the order but even that is changing.     Only good thing about this is the choice of restaurants. Otherwise I don't recommend it. Orders would get cancelled after 40mins of waiting, missing items, delivery left at the wrong address despite specific instructions and on top of that if you're help careful they want you to tip the driver good money. What a joke. If they would at least deliver at the right place it wouldn't mind giving a good. Not to mention the person delivering the food isn't always who the app says is delivering.

    Food is literally always delivered cold and anywhere from 5 minutes to literally an hour after the promised "latest arrival time". If the food is way way late and still haven't arrived, you can't cancel the order without still being charged. From what I can tell their system for paying drivers encourages drivers to pick up several orders and then deliver them around the city as they get cold in the car. Doordash has a much better customer experience.

In both cases, I waited about an hour before I was notified. Postmates had cancelled my orders due to NO drivers in the area! Yet I pay for a service that literally CAN'T DELIVER. Was told I wasn't charged and was given a credit for my trouble. LIES! Had to wait 24 hours for return of my money and NO credits! Now I CANCEL.

They double up orders on the drivers so the food is always late, I've had several drivers deliver the wrong orders to me and this last time I ordered the app showed the driver sitting at the restaurant for an hour. I called the restaurant and the driver had left with the order and postmates couldn't reach the driver either.     You're better off going with literally any other food delivery app. Less overall options than others like uber & doordash, and higher prices to boot. Support is non-existent, so good luck fixing any issues that will arise with delivery or your account. Also note: If you try their free delivery subscription, you'll be charged month-after-month even after canceling. Seriously avoid postmates like the plague.

That's the START. the driver delivered the wrong meal after not even knocking to tell me it had arrived, and I reported it (you can only email) and I get a $64 refund. I ask them2resend my order at the restaurant I drove to and they just stopped emailing me. The other person who's food got switched ordered through Doordash and got great service.     There's no way to fix a messed up order. The restaurant always tells me to go through Postmates, yet Postmates says the restaurant must deal with botched orders. This has happened so many times. Attention restaurants: if you are using Postmates, I will not buy from you. It's not worth the risk. Also: it's exorbitant. Delivery fees plus service fee plus automatic tip plus tax? Tack on $20 or more to your burger orders.

    Deleting this app right after writing this. I ordered from a restaurant. Wait a whole hour and my order is canceled. The whole time it said someone was picking up my order, but then by the time my food was supposed to be delivered they cancel it due to lack of drivers. I tried again, then I see someone picking up my food but then their photo disappeared and again after an hour my delivery was canceled. Honestly worse experience I've had.

    So actually I kinda see the issue everyone else is experiencing and it kinda sucks. Spending over $40 each meal to almost 1 out of the 3 time it gets delivered. There excuse is there's no drivers... then hire more? Plus there tax and delivery fee is CRAZY!!! And I thought Doordash charged alot...if they do not fix these things I don't think I will really recommend postmates anyone...

    I've had terrible experiences with postmates. They are good a quarter of the time, but sometimes your order shows up with a fraction of the items and the deliverer basically tells you to take it up with corporate. Bad practice, going to every other delivery service now👎

    Please add an ability to see if there are drivers available in the area before ordering. Finding too many times I place an order, wait 45-50 minutes just to be told the order was canceled due to no drivers in the area. Biggest time waster.

    Uninstalled. The small cart fee of $2.00 is applied to orders less than $15.00 now. They add another $2.50 fee if you live in CA. Then you pay tax, a service fee, and a delivery fee. I put in a order of $13.00 and after all their fees, they tried to charge me $20.00 after FREE delivery! And on top of all this I am assuming they want me to tip. Don't waste your money on this app. Instead support local businesses by picking up and tipping them directly. Cut out the greedy middleman.

    Do not download this app. I downloaded it because it was supposed to be the only app that would let me buy things from pharmacies like CVS and Walgreens, but its just food. Why advertise that you can deliver anything if you don't do it in every area. I've worked for postmates before. You don't need a contract or agreement with a store/resturaunt. Postmate drivers get a card to use for buying deliveries. So why am I not allowed to place orders anywhere? This app is sad. Just Doordash it.

    Do not waste your time with this app. If you order something and the item isn't there, they will still charge you for it, not contact you and make it impossible for you to contact them. Absolutely awful for restaurants, too. Please do your community a favor and order directly with the location. You're the worst of all the delivery apps, Postmates. Hope you go under.

    I really enjoy this app, but somethings need to change. I ordered food from burgerking and for 2 hours my order stayed on "preparing your order". I wanted to cancel the order and try some other place, but if I did, I had to pay the original amount. 3 hours passed and then it was close to 4. IF I HAVE TO WAIT THIS LONG TO GET MY FOOD, THEN THERE SHOULD BE SOMEWAY TO FIX IT. At least penalize stores that do this, because this is the third time its happened to me.

    Literally the worst delivery app. I rarely leave reviews but three issues in a row was the last straw. Its impossible to get a refund bc the email responses are terrible and slow. I got two emails i responded and its been a week a nothing. They owe me at least $40 in a span of 2 weeks give me my money back

    They consistently have more fees and higher prices than other apps like grubhub. My total+tip is always cheaper on grubhub than the total without tip is on Postmates. Having driven for postmates I can also say they treat their drivers worse than other apps do, you can wait for weeks sometimes for a person to tip you and you have no idea what you will make on an order when you accept one. Support lines are a nightmare. All of these companies are shady but Postmates is more so than the others.

    This app has dodgy ui. My pizza cost $12 more than I realized, by which time the order had been placed and it was too late to cancel. Make sure the customer sees the final total before taking their money. Buyer beware.

    WORST COMPANY EVER. Still fighting w/ them over their fraudulent charges. Edit: Come to find out that they double charged me every month, for my Postmates Unlimited. I've contact them repeatedly, but they don't even respond. Terrible customer service. Slowest delivery out of any of the apps I've tried, and the highest fees. Sometimes the orders don't arrive at all. If they do arrive, there's usually items missing. Don't expect a refund if you contact them about it. They'll just ignore you.

    More time than not my order is cancelled because there are no drivers or no one picks up orders. Can't wait an hour and a half for my order to eventually cancel. It messes up my whole work schedule for my lunches. When the order is cancelled, I usually dont eat for the rest of the day.

    Evidently postmates is SOOO CRAZY BUSY you might want complete your order with UberEats, Grub Hub, neighborhood dope man Some other way then postmates if you're hungry. I just had a $90 order from KFC get canceled after a full hour for waiting for it. Without any other word. Or inconvenience fee, ect. NOTHING AT ALL.

    I've always found Postmates horrible and they can never deliver orders or pick up orders. I have had it twice in one night my order was dropped off and I did not receive it. I even selected to meet outside to have it handed to me and it was said delivered even though no one came to me with it. I have tried to even call them but they have no number to do so. The email on the account is old so I can't even receive the emails whether or not they can help me. Never use this app!

    Terrible experiences with drivers. I've had a driver NOT deliver my food to my own house so some lucky person got a free $50+ order of dinner, and just recently my driver didn't pick up my entire order so I only got some of my food. This is very frustrating since the purpose of ordering delivery is for the sake of convenience and not having to make the trip yourself, but I've ended up having to do so anyway because of incompetent drivers. So thanks postmates.

    Maybe the only app that allows tipping after delivery. Once you download app go straight to settings and change notification settings. You will get an email every day. It's pretty excessive the amount of emails I've received.

    The customer service for this app is THE WORST!!! I would give them 0 stars if I could. My order was missing the entree which was the main part of my meal and ost $13. When I reported the missing item, all Postmates support did was say they would give me a $5 credit! They made no attempt to refund me for the missing item, and when I followed up to ask why they didn't refund the item, no one ever responded to me!! To top it off, they never even gave me the $5 credit. USE GRUBHUB INSTEAD!!

    If you order anything at all just know that money is gone and never coming back no matter the reason. Driver had my food for 90 minutes and drove past my home twice, so it was over 2 hours since i ordered. I canceled and they said too bad. Its not refundable

    The app has lots of issues. You have to check your location before and after you order. It switched my location, and I ended up losing around $40 on food, because it set my location 2 hours away after I added food to my cart. They don't offer refunds due to errors like these. Their customer service contact is hard to navigate. They did however contact me back within 24 hours after I complained about the location switch issue. I will never order food from this service again.

    I had a major problem with a significant order of 150$ and after weeks of attempting to contact customer service, it was never resolved. I reached out to every email of theirs I could find multiple times each, not a single response. If something happens more complicated than can be handled through the little help menu, good luck, you're on your own. I've never had this issue with apps like Grubhub so I'll keep all my orders there from now on, they actually respond to, and solve, problems.

    The app itself takes forever to load information about restaurants near me. Then either it gives incorrect open hours or fails to show the whole menu of a location. The app also constantly bothers me with stupid full screen ads for their subscription services. Then when you make an order you have the crapshoot of what kind of person is going to make your order and what kind of person is going to deliver your order.
