It's the game that's taken the world by storm.

Voted 'Best mobile game' by The Game Developers Choice Awards, Pokemon Go has already been downloaded a record-shattering 650 millions times.

Pokemons are everywhere. Just step outside to explore the world. As you walk around a neighbourhood, your smartphone will vibrate if there's a Pokemon nearby. Don't let them get away. Prepare to join one of three teams and battle for the prestige and ownership of gyms with your Pokemon at your side.

Search far and wide for Pokemons and items:
Some Pokemons thrive near their native environments like water-type Pokemons at lakes and oceans. PokeStops found in special places provide you with PokeBalls and other items.

Catching, hatching, evolving and more:
Level up to catch powerful Pokemons and complete your Pokedex or hatch Pokemon eggs based on the distances you walk. Pokemons evolve by catching many of the same kind while having a Buddy Pokemon to walk with will earn you candy that makes Pokemons stronger.

Take on gym battles and defend your gym:
As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokemon to defend it.

Reviews From google play store

I would've given more stars, however, the game does not work. For some reason, when I first open the app to start a new game, I enter my date of birth, select new player with sign in with google, and I recieve a message saying *Unable to Authenticate.* I tried signing in with my Pokemon Trainer account, but yet it says the same message. If there was someway to correct the error, I would be grateful.

Great, if you love Pokemon. Played since launch. It's an addictive grind. You have to invest the time to catch / evolve the good stuff. You don't need to spend a penny :) Would've given it 4/5 stars, but latest updates have totally lost the ability to adventure synch. It was a lot better / easier when this wasn't the case. No suggested fixes work! All Niantic / customer support say is "we're aware. Be patient." The games nearly 3 years old! How patient can the players be? Such a shame.

I enjoy the game. I think it would be better if the raids could be scaled down. I can never get enough people together to do 5 star raids. So that's a me problem. But even when i have at least 4 people i can never complete the 5 stars. The raid timers are also too fast for how much life they are given. Also it would be nice if either evolution items were easier to get or non existent. It's an annoying wall to hit. I hate to say it but I'd like the option to buy the evolution items.

Such a fun game. It gets you motivated to go outside and walk around catching Pokemon. My only issue is that with every update something brakes. E.g. last update made the AR option on my phone unable to switch off. Leaving me with a blank white screen. I was able to wait it out till the next update was out. But now my adventure sync has completely stopped working. I've done all the troubleshooting and nothing seems to work. Please fix before the game is not interesting anymore.

(Updated) I enjoy the solo aspects of the game: exploring and catching pokemon, and the multi-play aspects are better. Raids are more fun now that I found a location where people actually show up. I like that I can battle friends far away, and the discord makes it easy to chat with people. Only complaint now is still raids. The majority of raids I encounter don't have anyone playing. And there are no raids late night, which is usually when I play.

Played since Day 1, they've added a lot to the game since then to make something for everyone to enjoy. I play every day but take it slow & don't rush out to catch all the new pokes the first week they come out, the people who do that get bored with the game and want new things released all the time. Some events I just don't have time to do, but they introduced trading so it usually works out eventually. There's stuff I'd change, but love the game.

It's decent and fun at times, but they don't listen to player suggestions that often, features are slow to roll out, and they have no algorithms to help persistent players find shiny Pokemon. It's just all random. You can waste $100 and not have a chance of hatching a shiny. There should be more algorithms giving a slight chance increase. Shinies are important in the end game because there's nothing else to do. What's not fun is walking around for hours on end with no increased chance of reward

So many people whining about the game won't do this or that, or they can't catch anything because they aren't in a large, congested city but... I'm in a tiny podunk town with no shortage of Pokemon. The game has never glitched, locked up, froze up, or in any way let me down, and it's only improved with each update. I guess what I'm trying to say is, to those of you who are crying about whatever it is you're crying about, this game probably isn't for you and Candy Crush will always take you back.

Pokémon Go is like any game. It's fun for a minute. Here's what I don't like. First, I haven't received a revive in over a month. Second, the same pokemon appear in the same places. I wish they would change their algorithm to randomize more what pokemon appear where. Otherwise, if you can't travel much, you don't get many opportunities to catch anything new, which to me is the most interesting part of the game. Third, it's not the best game for people who can only spare a few moments each week.

Game is good, if not just a little two dimensional. You spend hours catching pokemon from across nearly every generation. You have the opportunity to evolve them, and battle them in numerous ways. The problem is that the process becomes repetitive after a while. Catch, collect candies, transfer, evolve, repeat. Big payoffs like finding those hard to spot pokemon are far and few unless you really dig in 10+ hours a week. If you're a pokefan you may be better off playing pokemon on DS or switch.

The premise of the game is pretty fun but the execution is poor. Running around catching pokemon with your friends is enjoyable and most of the base game mechanics are sound. It's when you try to play it more and learn some of the more complex things that the janky way they've done things comes to light. I would only spend time and/or money on this game if you have several friends willing to do the same. And it takes extensive research to even begin to make the later gameplay work for you

I used to have a few Pokemon spawn at my home and recently, no Pokemon have been spawning here at all. Sometimes I like to just load up the app to check in a catch a few Pokemon, but there's no point now since there are never any Pokemon. Also, a park I visit 5 or 6 days a week has considerably less spawns now too. It's just becoming less and less fun every single update. Why would you want to make your game less fun? Seems counterintuitive to me.

I don't think I have to explain the game, everyone knows this game by now. Still love it, play everyday since launch. But it's still a terrible app for Android. Constant bugs, can't sign in half the time with my Trainer account, the company doesn't so much to solve it. The game itself is great, but the app still feels like beta.

I love this game. It's brilliant, the graphics are amazing and it's getting better and better with each update. Edit: I have removed two stars as the spawn point update had crippled playability in my town. Over 50% of the spawns in my town centre and on the seafront - both main community day routes - have been removed, not moved, outright removed. Until this is resolved I will not be increasing my score

Good for exercise. Would give better rating but they haven't fixed nearby issue (shows Pokemon at stops blocks away but doesn't have page to show you what you can find walking around. Biggest issue is in trading Pokemon. They decrease in IV & CP value... Why would you want to trade a Pokemon when this happens??? Why do they not stay the same IV & CP That they are ?!?!?! Makes no sense, so I don't trade.

I just installed the game and it's already crashing. I just made my character and it keeps freezing in the tutorial and the whole app crashes. I restarted the app so many times but it keeps crashing in the tutorial. I didn't have a chance to even play the game, fix your bugs please. I'm pretty sure others have this problem like me which sums up to uninstalling the app bc of these bugs you can't fix. You are losing fans to playing the game for sure.

It has a lot of bugs. Pvp lags a lot. It is randomly freezing during the charge move animation. The packs from the shop are not tempting at all. When you start the battle at a gym/raid, it freezes as well. You have to wait 10 seconds to catch a pokemon when you could easily press a back key button and move on with other pokemon. The tm's are random which is annoying. There are no tms or quests for legacy moves. Support team treat you like you're nothing. Good idea, bad approach.

Honestly wish we could battle trainers in the more traditional way. Not just tap and press shield. Wish there was more strategy involved. Not saying there isnt a place for the other battle way. Just would really like that more. But obtaining pokemon, and gameplay all the other ways i feel like work very well!! Just hope you change that one thing because i know many mnay others feel the same way.

Edit: the game is running well again and is back to being its enjoyable self. This game offers many fun events to play in which allows catching pokemon not typically found in certain regions. You can catch legendary pokemon, battle in gyms, evolve the pokemon, and battle with or against friends. If you dont have many friends or dont live in a metropolis area, however, this game is very difficult to play. Pokemon rarely show up in rural areas and there are few gyms and pokestops.

Fun but flaws in the software can be very frustrating. Bluetooth connectivity issues with their Plus device are very frustrating. This is by far my biggest problem, even on brand-new phones like the Pixel 3. Interactions with the game world can be very glitchy. Raiding often proves to be difficult between delayed loading when fainting out or rejoining a battle, as well as battling itself. Difficult raids reliably cut anywhere from 3 to 15 seconds off the end of raids resulting in failed raids.

been playing since it came out. The things that can be purchased with IRL money seem a bit inflated to me. Also, catch difficulty seems to get harder the longer I've been playing...which doesnt make sense since you're supposed to earn easier catch rates the more pokemon you catch. Overall, quite enjoyable, but not as fun if you cant spend IRL money.

Couple glitches but overall fun to play. When I use lucky egg, after 15 mins of evolving Pokémon after Pokémon, it freezes when the Pokémon evolves and appears. Gets annoying having to reload the game. Also freezes for up to 10 seconds when opening gifts or selecting a gift to send to friend. Takes way to long as it is to open and send gifts, needs to be a faster way of doing this. Some of the mission things are dumb, like evolve a syther when I already have and last 3 months not seen a syther.

I've been a long time player, and there have been so many improvements over the years. But two months of Eevie as a research reward and then a forced update without fixing the bug the current version has with Pokémon Go Plus? I'm getting so fed up. Been here from the start but PG+ players don't seem to be a priority. For reasons o won't go into 8ts pretty much the only way I can play. Gutted

Great game, love it to bits. My main gripe recently has been the research box. Flower crown eevee? Really? With the amount of pokemon in the game you could've put others in! And the nov-dec box is going to be santa hat eevee?! Come on Niantic you could put the regionals in there to compenstate the fact that not everyone can play all the time or know that many people who have gotten them.

Absolutely great, really gives a new meaning to going for walks and I actually want to leave the house now. But I'm having some trouble with Advenchure sync, it's enabled in the game, and on Google fit it also has access to information and is an "allowed" app, but for some reason it's not sending the I formation across to the app. Does anyone have a fix for this?

I came here because the game just won't load. I am a returning player and I have been playing for a while now and I was liking the game a lot. Adventure sync is helpful. But like I said the game just doesn't load often. I thought the loading issues were in the past but apparently not. I also don't agree with the 50 coins per day limit. If my 2nd Pokemon reaches 8 hours and gets kicked out. I should get 50 coins no matter what. Maybe a penalty amount would be better. 25 coins for 8 hours.

UPDATE - app version 0.157.1 (and 0.157.0) has broken the GoPlus and Pokeball Plus connection for most makes/models of phones, Niantic has forced this version as the only playable version of the game without fixing the issue. The game is pretty good, once you get over the grind of needing to capture the same Pokemon multiple times over to get enough candy to evolve. As the game as gotten older, more features have been added, but the core focus remains the same - catch many many multiples of the same Pokemon. However good the game is, Niantic is a terrible "game developer" - they constantly make the same mistakes including removing Pokemon and starting events without turning on the event "thing:, have terrible support that blames for the user for anything and generally aims to make as much money as possible while doing as little as possible.

I love playing this game. Limited space so I'll use bullet points. Great social game, our tiny city has hundreds of daily active players. If your area is lacking in spawns, pokestops, and gyms, play ingress and reach lvl 10 so you can start submitting for stops and gyms, it's what we did and our area is getting great. From 5 gyms to 40 gyms and tons of added stops because we took the time to play ingress to have this ability. Worth it!! Please add a start button in raid lobbies (at least Lvl 1-3

Still a lot of issues and concerns that need to be addressed. TMs are unrewarding as they are now as it puts you through two lottery processes to try get the move you desire. One just trying to obtain the TMs, and another on rerolling the moves until you finally get the one you want. Half the time the move you want is exclusive to a specific even however and can't be TM'd, a practice I very much disagree with.

This is a truly unique experience in the gaming world. Pokemon go has inspired many other games in the genre of "Getting out to game". It has outstanding gameplay features that no other games have such as: Raid battles, the gift feature and many others. The graphics are great but there is room for improvement there. My overall view of this game is "Its a great experience for everyone anywhere at all times of any age." -- Alfie Johnston

The moment I hit level 33 literally every legendary raid I have done even with consecutive excellent throws I have not catched the raid pokemon. Is this some sort of a glitch or a joke? Out of the 9 raids I have done I have caught none. Very frustrating and waste of time and effort playing this game. Did I use Golden berries, yes, did i throw curve excellent throws, yes, did I have more than 10 premium balls to throw, yes. What more do you want

Good game but limited if you dont play with other people. I'm also having problems linking POGO adventure sync to google fit. When I try to turn it on, there's just a loading screen that doesn't ever connect. All permissions are on for data usage on the move. Cant get the problem sorted and it seems there are many more out there with the same issue. Never happened on my old nokia 8, but now I've changed to samsung s10

Loved it since Gen 1. Here we are in the opening month of Gen 5 and I'm so happy with the amount of content we have. I love shiny hunting, hatching eggs and taking on raids with friends, and the Buddy system is a great way to slowly build up a rare Pokémon's candy to evolve it, or to show off my most recent rare, legendary, or shiny Pokémon!

I tried to email support, but you bounced it w/ a "not listening" automatic reply...so here is your review. This app freezes ALL THE TIME. I have tried all normal troubleshooting steps like reinstall, clear cache, app updates, system updates, etc. Every second or third time I click "Go To Gym" it is game over. It also will freeze just sitting at the main screen. There are millions of dollars flowing into this app through in-app purchases and advertising, but Niantic treats us like...? GS9+ Vzw

Changed rating from 5 to 4 stars after the most recent forced update (10/14/19) broke the ability to connect Pokemon GO Plus peripheral. Many players have brought this to Niantic's attention. If they can't fix the issue, they should at least allow players to continue using earlier versions of the game that support the device. The recent rebalancing of spawn points also left many players unable to play without traveling long distances.

This is a great app! It is super fun and I love it. My only problem is that it worked on my old phone, but when i got it on my new phone, it says the GPS signal isnt found. The part that confuses me is the my location works on every app except pokemon go. Can someone please explain why? Is it my fault or the app's fault?

I do quite enjoy it since coming back to the game after the launch hype. The only issue I have is that it encourages social play but doesn't seem to provide any means within the game to meet other players except for within your own contacts on social media - I don't live anywhere near any other pokemon go friends. Otherwise yeah I still somehow love pokemon and this does make long walks through cities go faster. =)

This game really has gotten me more motivated to get up and explore! I seriously feel happier because of this game because it has gotten me active, motivated, and less stressed. It seems pretty weird for me to say that a game on my phone has helped me so much, buy it really has. I love this app and its community. ❤️

This game could be amazing if it didn't have all the glitches it currently has. Previously caught pokemon show as a shadow indicating it hasn't been caught even though it has. The in game drift is flat out ridiculous. Even with high accuracy GPS turned on my husband and I have difficulty playing due to drift. Every update causes even more glitches. Instead of updating, let's fix the known issues!

Fix the same issues that have been a problem from the beginning & fix the go-plus not connecting issue. Paid $40 for this accessory & can rarely ever use it due to "failed to find device" "could not connect to Pokemon go-plus" etc. None of your troubleshooting "solutions" work & it is most definitely not my internet. Tired of the bullcrap with this game

A tolerable perversion of a classic. Pogo does provide entertainment, but not enough to keep true fans completely hooked. The RNG and lack of good rewards for true world exploration are a little unfortunate. Poor cellular signal can definitely make the experience frustrating as well, though that isnt the fault of the developers. Overall an enjoyable experience but not true to the original series and lacks a lot of those features

Pokemon hunting is a pain with all the new pokemon. I cant find any charmanders to get candies for my starter. If I were to design spawning, i would have random selective spawning tiles that change based on your buddy pokemon. This way I can choose which pokemon I'm "looking" for. I can only get candies walking, now. Gyms need to be redesigned. Once you put in a pokemon, you cant withdraw it until someone else defeats it. You also cant access the rest of the gym features when there is a raid.

I have a suggestion for a better HUD regarding the stat increases obtained when you level up the relationship with friends. my suggestion is that these stats should be compiled and displayed on the trainer card under the "stats" category. This would help visualizing what stats that have been acquired, instead of having to manually calculate these bonuses by selecting each friend individually and then writing the stats down in order to see the full extent of what has been achieved. Thanks <3

The game is fun when you are with friends and out with them. However, the lack of support for rural players hurts. There is a single place in my area to do anything regarding pokemon go but it is improving. There has recently been a change in pokemon spawn locations that some like and some dislike. I like how once every hour or two a pokemon would spawn at my house, nothing rare but something. Ive been playing since 2016 and while there is a lot to improve, it is being improved.

When I first installed it a week or two ago it was really fun, and I found it highly enjoyable. Now however it keeps giving me errors when I try and open it, even after I got the new update. I would really like better solutions to the "Unable to authenticate" error than the current one - force stop or clear cache because that simply doesn't work anymore.

Used to love the game. After the new update it has wiped all wild encounters for me. I could log on at night and catch a few before bed. Now pokemon don't show up at all. I recently went to a cafe the next city over to play for a while. There is supposed to be a mural next door marked with a pokestop. Thought it was weird that it didn't pop up and I had no random encounters for the three hours I was there working. Pretty upsetting. Got a full bag of items to use.

I love this game, but the update are causing things not to work like my step record is totally wrong. I cant hatch eggs because it's not recording anything I am doing. I walk over 6000 steps a day. And been trying to hatch the same 10km egg for 2 weeks and still not hatched. I'm extremely upset. Plus these 2 weeks I have not gotten my walking bonuses at all

Games great, spent a lot of time and had a lot of fun catching pokemon taking on raids and gyms and I've enjoyed it, it's a different take on the usual pokémon game but recently I've just not been able to catch anything as whenever I click on a wild pokemon to try and catch it my game just crashes, and so I'm completely unable to catch anything atm, can tackle gyms, can do everything else but whenever you I can no longer catch any pokemon which defeats the object of the game making it unplayable

Im a huge fan of Pokemon . Now im a huge fan of Pokemon Go. I think the app. is great period. It has a few glitches but no biggie. Theres Community day and its a global thing. This app. is good for all ages in my opinion. It does require some purchase and some travel to realy get further into the gameplay. Out all the things I know about this game theres things I dont know. I think its a good social app. to meet people and play Pokemon Go.They wil also help along the way.It does update often.Ash

Used to be good. Now pogo plus doesn't connect, hiccups, problems, spoofers etc. So no longer worth the money I invested into it and extra gadgets. Just freaking annoying. And flower eevee for 2 months in the legendary box? Well played. Maybe another suggestion for the box would be a guaranteed non-shiny pidgey? Just to screw the players thoroughly?

Since the last two updates pokeball issues are still not fixed. Which for most people is making their gameplay go down. As someone who plays every day and wheels around. This issue NEEDS to be fixed! The coding is the issue. I've also heard that you want us to go buy a new one to fix the issue. How about no!!! Fix the coding for it and stop being greedy

Nearly impossible to play in rural areas. Niantic hardly ever gives feedback when one of their updates ruins something. (see: Salamina Island) Small complaints: - Animations in text and window transitions are too slow. - Adventure sync has a life of its own and in some devices can be triggered by shaking the phone. Free hatches for me, but seems unfair. - Trainer battle shields are frustrating and lead to disadvantages for pokémon with slower basic attacks.

This is my favorite game and I play avidly. That being said, the new spawn point update has really dampened my spirit and made me less motivated to play. Without exaggeration probably 50% of the spawn points in my area have disappeared-- my neighborhood and small town used to be amazing to hunt in. Now all of the good spawn points are gone and in the recent events it's been seriously depressing trying to go hunt for shinies. Please Niantic, listen to the players and bring back our spawns :(

This game has been one that i frequently quit playing because of the random gatcha concept. I pay for raid passes, then land curve throws with all 16 balls, using 16 golden raspberries just to not catch the raid pokemon. My suggestion is a "catch meter": there is always a chance to randomly auto catch the pokemon, but if you get it in a ball his catch meter goes up, more if its a curve more if its a nice great or excellent throw. When the meter is full its an auto catch

Great game, encourages exercise and exploring towns or cities to find pokestops and gyms etc, encourages making friends with people in real life that also play the game that you may come across at pokestops or gyms to battle them or give gifts to them that help in the game, all of which you can do for free or there are in app purchases to speed up your progress if desired but not necessary to enjoy the game :)

It is kinda upsetting that I no longer have my (4) magmarizer and (4) electrizer after updating the game. I feel like I need to be compensated after losing them, and shouldn't have to get the Sinnoh stones to replace them after all the hardwork I went to get them. Until I can get 8 sinnoh stones in return, then this will be at 1 star till further notice

LOSING INTEREST bigtime because Pokemon spawns are now pretty much non-existent without lures. Old complaint still here too. It is time for Niantic to update storage for all items and pokemon. current size limit is too low. They add more pokemon and items to the game but we are limited on max storage we can get. Please add more storage and more levels. Also need to optimize app for tablets too. Bored and frustrated.

love the game, but the weather isn't at all accurate, which effects the pokemon available for catching. please fix this. And please stop giving flower wearing Eevee's for research breakthroughs!!!!! You guys REALLY need a rotation, winning the same thing is not motivating and makes me want to take a break from playing.

great game to explore new areas and meet the local community. but app bugs are introduced frequently. the most recent update broke Bluetooth connected devices like the PoGo Plus, a disappointing treatment for purchased hardware. Niantic does a poor job of communicating these problems to users. I'd love to see more stability in the app or better communication from Niantic. However there is new or rotating content keeping gameplay fresh every few weeks to months.

I recently had problems updating the game so I uninstalled and reinstalled to fix it. Once I did, I couldn't sign in so I tried to email them to get help fixing it. They got back to me within 12 hours and fixed the problem. So not only is this app fun to use, the user friendly and actually want to help you when you have troubles.

My sister and I just battled in a Raid. Absolutely no problems. We go to catch the pokemon, and all of a sudden we both get a "Network Error." It kicks us both from the encounter, and the pokemon is just gone. I normally wouldn't complain, however, the pokemon had been a shiney, which I don't see very often, and now I'm pissed.

The battle feature needs serious attention. With this being the only means of obtaining sinnoh stones, the feature works maybe 5% of the time now, but it used to 100%! It simply will not connect in a place where my partner player is right next to me, and we have a full bar signal- Everything else works mostly. Anyway, I'm left with characters I would love to upgrade but cannot. If this gets fixed I'd say it's a 5-stars, but hopefully this is seen to correct

Please add in pokecenters. I know I'm not the only trainer who has strong pokemon they can't use. The revives are to few and far between. The rockets are winning because we can not easily heal our pokemon. In the beginning of pokemon there was a pokecenter in every town. You are crippling good trainers by leaving out pokecenters. This is why you will not get more than three stars from me until we have pokecenters.

This game is addictive. I love playing with my friends, sister, husband and son. It would be cool if we could see other players near by avatars! Also the clothing styles in the game are pretty cool! You should start selling the T-shirts you have available in the game in real life, I would love some of them! Especially the pink Mew shirt, so cute!

I was forced to uninstall and reinstall the app due to the update, and the changes still have loopholes. Some of the Pokemons nearby are still marked "unknown" though I had caught similar ones in the past. Apart from that, there are some missing "successful spawns" not saved on the memory. Awful!

I love this game, it is challenging, you get exercise, you meet new people, and it is an extension of the old Pokemon. When my kids were little we collected all the cards, we went to game stores and battled other kids and adults for supper rare cards. This is awesome and you gotta catch them all.

The game is getting more and more fun, so many features, so many ways of getting different species of pokemon sometimes i get lost in game because there's so many things to do and it's more and more fun with every new feature introduced, unlike when it was just catching'em all, it was so boring at the time.

Updated to 3 stars but still feel the in game purchases are twice as expensive as they should be. Do not spend any money in this game! I spent money and purchased incubators to hatch eggs, and then the game glitched out and I lost out on several incubators. After contacting support and going back and forth over several days, they have refused to replace them. Leason learned on my account to never do in game purchases again, what a waste of money.

Im giving this app a 5 star rating just because of how good the game looks. I just started but I don't know how to get my starter though. After Professor Willow gives me some Pokeballs the starters all apear in one spot, and they all are inside each other. Even worse my avatar is stanging in the same spot, so my legs are inside the starters. I can't get my starter and that really sucks because I can't do anything else until I choose my starter, but IT WON'T LET ME CHOOSE MY STARTER! Please fix!

With the latest update, you have to physically be capable of twisting and turning while walking. Some people are incapable of doing so. Even with the AR turned off. Not amused and seriously debating on uninstalling and never playing again. Developers should have considered this and given an option to not use the devices camera.

This game has so much potential but is not quite there yet. Also I dont know anyone who plays this game so it would be nice to have clans or something to make it easier to find players near you. Also would be nice to battle or trade with people that aren't in your vicinity. Since non of my friends play this game I feel like I'm not getting the full experience.

Experiences will vary depending on how many pokestops and gyms you live by, but I'm lucky enough to live in Downtown Sacramento where there are literally hundreds of them. Always content to encounter as I come and go from work, and the mechanics and collecting of pokemon is very addictive, even though I'm not into the normal console games or the anime AT ALL. I also happily spend money on inventory slots and cosmetics as I go, as the app is not overly greedy. 5/5

So, I originally gave this game 5 stars because it's amazing, but for a month and a half now I have not been able to use Pokemon go plus/gotcha... so I reverted back to an old version which only allowed me to do that for a week and then they pushed this update that's full of bugs and glitches. I don't understand why they're not fixing this. it's been so long already I'm very mad. once it changes then I'll change my review back, but I'm very mad and I want Niantic to fix the problems already.....

This game is fun for the whole family. I've been playing with my husband since the beginning and now our two boys have joined in the fun. We enjoy our family walks while playing the game. The only things we don't care for are the breakthrough boxes containing eevee so many months in a row and how the weather in the game almost never lines up with the actual weather. In game (for us in our area anyways) it's always partly cloudy weather even though it's always raining here.

There was an update yesterday. And since that update, my game has been a number of problems that have happening. Whether I am on Wifi, or on cell data, everything is taken far longer to load. I will be walking along, and by the time a pokemon spawns, I will be passed its spawn location. So as soon as it spawns, it despawns. My nearby in the corner will not show anything near, by when I click on the nearby, it will expand and it will show 9 pokemon.

I'm mad as a hornet! I was taken out of a gym battle after using only three of my six Pokemon. I would have won! Now when I try to catch a Pokemon the game freezes and I have to restart it. this is a trend. WHY????? I loved this game until I could no longer log in to my account and had to start over.

Fifth out of five stars if they ever crunch the number of consumables and currencies. With 800+ Pokémon now available, turning individual species candies into type-based candies (and, obviously, raising the number required to evolve or power up accordingly) would save the game for ruralites like me, and make things less luck-based (I've had to walk this Wailmer for nigh every candy I have for it because they don't appear where I live, after my Dratini and Clefable before it).

I love this app. But, lately it's been freezing a lot. The game has been lagging more often than usual. The GPS system seems off too. It's been having problems finding my location lately. The adventure sync might be a little off as well. Otherwise, this app is very fun.

Spawn rates need improving! The last update really messed up the spawn around the park where I live. It's not rural but it is lightly populated near a small airport. I could always count on atleast 4 or 5 pokies around my driveway let alone the property in general. The nearest spinner is a half mile and the same goes for one tower. Not something I look forward to playing. The gift rate is borked as well. One gift at possible 3 spins...thats really rank.

I want to love this game but... It takes 5 minutes to load, randomly stops responding once it does load, and cannot connect to its own server in specific parts of my city. It used to be one street that the Niantic server couldn't connect on. Now that area gets larger and larger all the time. I used to enjoy walking around and catching Pokemon. Now I mostly get network error messages.

Its a 5 star game, without a doubt. However, more often than not, theres some sort of glitch, bug or malfunction that totally ruins the experience. Have it be, the game kicking you out after a battle or raid. Clicking on a Pokemon, right beside you, only to wait 2 to 5mins for an Error Code and the Pokemon disappearing. Try to battle or trade with someone, whos right beside you, only for the game to tell you theyre out of range. There are SO many more issues. Heres hoping this update fixed these

Overall a great game. There are occasional glitches that annoy me (mainly the glitch when starting a battle at a gym, the "Go" occasionally doesn't go away and freezes the game), but it runs generally smoothly otherwise. If you are looking for some good shiny farming (especially for legendaries) or simply wanna get those 10,000 steps in, then this game is for you.

Very fun, lots of events, although a bit Grindy and full of hackers/spoofers. Just like every free game, you get better progression and better/competitive Pokemon if you pay for it. Pvp mechanics are a bit laggy, still lots of bugs and a horrible support system. Devices like pokeball plus sometimes fails depending on the update patch version. Brings the community together and motivates exercise and travelling.

It's a shame that Niantic took such a long time to get the game to where it is now. As a returning player who last played almost three years ago, it still feels unfinished, but there have been significant strides. A larger portion of the original player base would have stayed engaged had the game been released in its current form, back in 2016. However, there's still work to be done to fulfil the initial promise of what Pokémon Go could become, and I hope they get there one day.

I've met so many people through this app it's crazy, I walk everywhere and I play this game all the time. Like every once in a while I'll find people doing a raid and I'll hang out talk with them for a bit and it's really great. The community with this app isnt like any other. If you can play it id highly recommend. You never know who else could be playing it.

It was great.. at first then I uninstalled. More and better features were added so I reinstalled it. Now I have to say I hate it, it's the VR modes. I can't turn it off. I look like a dumbass looking around. Some people think I'm taking pictures of them or their kids. I don't need that kind of bs.

Game is awesome. However, every single time a new update comes out ill update and the update NEVER takes. Try twice and use roughly 77mb then always have to uninstall and reinstall for 92mb and then have to try and remember my darn password. Fix this as its a known issue Niantic! By the amount of data i lose each update you really should be showing some kind if compensation. Will give 5* when this issue is fixed

Don't waste your time There's no logic to this game (ex. You can have one of the best ball, ultra, with a "fruit" that's suppose to make them easier to catch & still have a combat per, under 50 cp Pokemon escape) Playing this game with any attempt at succeeding is like relying on gambling nickel slots expecting to be set for life after losing the last 100 spins

Really fun game that is worth the grinding. My only problem it is mandatory to also have friends who play. I don't have any friends, so I can't complete the side missons no matter what I do! Please fix this, or make friends "bonuses" to missions. Otherwise, love this game

I've played since day one. And still play as much as I can with priorities above it. There's just something about the community I play with that keeps me going. I play solo plenty but have made so many awesome friends through this game. It's easy to use, you can play for free if you do it right. There's drama in any family, but the game play stays unaffected for the most part. Worth taking the leap and diving into the world of Pokemon Go.

As a pokemon fan I love this game,in my opinion Pokemon go is the best pokemon game on android devices. It is very interesting,Amazing and prototype. The game not only gives you great experiences and memories while playing it outside in nature and in public places but it also gives you the opportunity to make friendships with other pokemon go trainers as well.I think the game would be improved if the pokemon battles were more interesting,so pokemon battles need serious attention.

I love this game but for the past three weeks I have had the problem weather I'm in the game or not it keeps telling me that the updates for the game has stop. And not 1 single traipinch showed up on my screen during the event I was looking forward to catching a shiny today and couldn't. Please fix this

Clap clap, recent releases broke even more features... Getting notifications even though it's been disabled, Pokemon go plus can't connect, previously caught Pokemon now showing up as shadows in nearby Pokemon, how can I trust this company by putting money into the game and know that it works correctly. Heard of quality assurance testing??

The game itself is awesome and i really like it, but since the most recent update i cannot connect to my pokemon go plus just flashes Red and on the app says unable to connect to pokemon go plus, atleast my adventure sync works fine and without problems like others are having. Also the spawns have been changed too much infact you are Lucky if you see one pokemon that is not near a pokestop or a gym!

Great game, started playing late so got the benefit of more recent updates and it's definitely still worth playing. One thing, and I'm sure this is a common issue, I would like to talk with friends. It would make it easier to trade among other things. I know this is a problem due to young people playing but you could said it to a 13+ feature.

spawns are a joke now. i live in a big, busy city. used to get pokemon like crazy at my apartment, and a good, varied assortment, too. now whenever i load the game up at home, either nothing spawns or just a single watchog. thats it. thats literally the only pokemon that shows up anymore and its not even always. what is even the point if i cant play when im just hanging out at home? dumb.

The game is good however if my phone dies while playing it breaks the game . While loading with the nitanic logo the bar is absent then after a moment I get a black screen instead of the second pokemon loading screen graphics. Otherwise I like the game redownloading fixes my problem till it relapses it's just a waste of data. Nice game though I like the grind and collection.

I use a samsung galaxy a50. I walk almost 10km a day. But the game won't register steps no matter how long i walk. I thought it was a problem with adventure sync with samsung health so tried walking with the app on and it still wont register steps. This has been occurring since past two days. Today i trued to uninstall and reinstall the app. After uninstalling the game wont reinstall even after 100% download is complete on the store. If its a bug please fix it.

Before the recent update, whenever I connect my pokeball plus and then switch tabs, a gps icon will show to confirm your device is connected, and it worked flawlessly for alerting me when there are nearby pokemons and pokestops. Now, even if pokeball plus is connected, gps icon won't show. Also, it doesn't alert me through pokeball plus when a pokemon or pokestop is nearby unless the game itself is active on your screen.

I don't know what happened, but before I was able to find pokemons in my area as I open the app, now there's none. So, since I require some help to go outside, this game is pretty much a useless spacetaker for me and there's nothing for me to enjoy. Before it was at least fun to see what pokemon is near me. Please, please, do something about it.
