I've been using podbean for a good while and really like it for the most part. Recently though, I've been having an issue with it using a lot of processing power. It's only been the last few months, but my Galaxy S10 has been reporting the app as overloading the system. Likewise, running it for a few hours, which is easy to do when listening to a 3+ hour program, consumes about 10% battery an hour with the screen off. I've listened to the same program on other apps and not had this issue.

Editing my review. Used to be very good. But the app has deleted my downloaded podcasts and play data numerous times. And the last thing it did, which made me give a bad review was it decided I no longer follow any podcasts, and got rid of them. It won't even let me find them again. So I now have a podcast player that refuses to let me even find a podcast to listen to. What happened to this app?

I have used this app for years, however, lately it skips parts of the podcast, replays other portions, and sometimes just stops completely. I also am having the same issues as others of episodes not being shown as played and not auto‐deleting. It's pretty annoying. These issues are not podcast specific (it is the app) and my settings are correct. With so many similar complaints with no resolution or acknowledgement, I'll probably just move on to another app.

I paid for a Fox Megacast subscription,then one day I couldn't get any new content. I told admin about that and got new content for a couple of days then it stopped. I haven't gotten any new programs for months. Other than that, I like Podbean a lot, it has of my favorite conservative talk shows(and one "teach show"[Kris Anne Hall]) plus I have discovered new interesting pod casts('History Cache'[Kristin charmed me the first time I listened]) I also like the volume boost/voice eq feature,I use it often. I was 7 words short of a 'most useful review',so this comment will fill that out and add an additional 16 words.

Got it right thanx. It's really a pleasure to be listening on podbean... Find ur favourites between the narreratours, between any topic and pick ur story... At the moment listening to the Harry Potter books which has an excellent narrerator and Bible Recap. Anything and everything, highly recommend. Ps. I'm not a premium user or pay money or nothing and I get to enjoy it alot. :)

Works nicely for me! I've found every podcast I've searched for so far. I use this app all the time now. The ads don't interfere with your show, so for people who like listening to podcasts as opposed to watching them, this is a great app. 👍

I've been using Podbean for a couple years now, and really like it. It's simple, and intuitive to use, amd does everything I need it to. It does have ads, but they don't intrude on the listening experience, or interfere with accessing any of the controls.

A decent app for podcasts, but it has a few bugs.The auto download new episode setting doesn't work; the mark as played no longer happens automatically as you finish a podcast; when you return to the app from your app history, it can not resume playback and instead only shows a loading icon where the play/pause is.

Decent. Used it for years, but at times it would have feed sync issues. This got to a point where, when cross referencing certain shows on other podcast platforms like Spotify or Podcast Addict, I would find that my Podbean feeds were often 1-2 weeks behind. No amount of refreshing could fix this. This is perhaps a decent platform for someone looking to host a podcast, pricing is good, but I'd recommend looking elsewhere if you're solely a listener. There are better feature sets on other apps.

I liked it a lot. It somehow just keeps taking A LOT of GB space off my Internal Storage. You need to let us save this App to our SD Storage. Until you do, I'm gonna have to delete this app. I keep having Phone Storage problems, and it's always this app. Why don't you fix these problems. You already said you would before.I deleted a bunch of apps that I wish I hadn't, I deleted a bunch of pics, that I wish I hadn't, I deleted a bunch of music, wish I hadn't.
