I have enjoyed this app till the recent update that compels you to give access by default to all your device files to be able to use the app. Why would you require that? It's a reading app that must allow you to pick and choose which file or document you wish to use the app to read. This kind of intrusive demand is excessive. Do you really want to have free access to users' personal files and evade their privacy? That's a poor move. I'll regret to have advertised it to friends.

in android tv this app is available, but cannot able to use because on opening pdf/epub files, it asks to "tap here to open menu" for that we require touchscreen facility, which is not available in android tv, so help us all to resolve this issue/bug of pocket book reader app in android tv version where you need operate with remote control and not with touchcreen option.

I like the ios app better than the android one. The ios app highlights one sentence at a time during text to speech. The android app highlights none to several sentences, making reading confusing. Ideally it might be better not to highlight any text at all, during text to speech, and turn the page right after text to speech has reached the end of the page. Thanks for your efforts.

I love this app, the pages can ajust in size when you want bigger letters, especially when you read from your phone. When you turn your phone sideways it turns, which i couldnt do with a certain other, similar app. You can make notes, to understand what you read better and you can underline things to stand out for you. And Everything is totally ujustable. I love this app. Thanks for making Pocketbook.

Love the new updated interface! I usually strongly dislike radical redesigns, but right from the start it feels like a great improvement. The line spacing selector could use some love - it doesn't allow to adjust spacing as fluidly as its looks suggest, and its jumping around feels just bugged.

Not too long ago I praised this app as one of the most useful and nuance free. To my surprise, I realize that the app is "updated". I do not know what kind of issues were fixed, but the app has become really annoying in terms of the user interface. The old user interface worked very nicely, this one plainly sucks to the point I am considering to change to another app from this one - which used to be one of my favorites. Stop "fixing" what is not broken just for the sake of doing something.

The new update has turn this app into a thrash that was why I gave it a 1 star,I even want to take the one star back..the old version was way better,in the reading mode,I can select the the page I am reading to my screen fully without me scrolling from left to right when am reading.. Secondly too the text to voice doesn't work...so why this update

Hey, Reducing down to 4 stars as you seem to have removed the option to change the background color in the new update. I just loved this feature! Ps : I fixed the issue by clearing the data! Though I never had this issue in the earlier versions!

Your app is really good and very people friendly...but I don't know what you did with your update coz now I can't even install the app itself. Uninstalled after it stopped working after the update. It eventually worked and am still enjoying the seamless flow and consistency of the app...

I am frustrated with the update to text-to-speech. Before the update when I started text-to-speech it would read my current page. Now, when I start text-to-speech, it starts wherever it wants. Often this is two or three pages past where I am currently reading. I can find no rhyme or reason for where it starts. This is extremely frustrating.
