Reviews From google play store

After trying to make this work I have uninstalled it. Probably a very good app except that the instructions to set it up are not in the least bit intuitive and require technical information that is beyond my scope of understanding. It's quite understandable why it only has a 3.9 rating. It's too bad because it probably could be a very good app if their act together.

Used to be a good app but has recently developed annoying problems. If I load an album it'll stop playing after a song or two, if I change my que (remove songs, reorder songs) it doesn't actually change and plays the original album order, no longer sorts by albums, only artists (yes I selected sort by title, it doesn't work.) Sometimes it'll play the same song twice. These are all new problems, previously the app worked great.

Ever since the latest update I can't cast anything to my Chromecasts. It casts for a few seconds and then stops. This happens with any number of different shows and movies, and with two different Chromecasts. Other apps cast fine so the problem lies within Plex. Since I don't care to watch on my tiny phone screen, this renders the app entirely useless. I'll update this review if the problem gets fixed.

Great, you've now introduced the ramdon skipping problem that has recently started plaguing the exoplayer on the Amazon Fire Stick release. Congrats, you've now introduced the same problem to the android app on here too with this update. (as opposed to say my roku's and Apple TV 4k enhanced player that don't yet have the issue on the same h. 264 content.)

I really don't like that it forces transcode on sync even with "original" selected. Transcoding on my ARM NAS is not viable. I bought Plex pass for sync feature and it doesn't even work the way I want. Double tapping during playback to go -10 or +30 seconds doesn't work very well. When the video is completely buffered and you use -10 seconds it changes to the next episode in series. Sync doesn't download SRT subtitles. Other annoying bugs.

I have a dedicated Plex server, so I bought the app to use my phone to control streaming to a chromcast. I do no recommend this app for such use, much less at a 5 USD pricetag I had to pay. Chromcast support is tolerable at best. I constantly have problems starting episodes, skipping forward or backwards often skips the whole episode, pausing can hang the video, next episode autoplay stops working after a few episodes, and many more problems.

Latest version has issues with certain episodes that worked just fine previously. And when it crashes out of an episode, the countdown timer to the next one never goes down. Rather, it just races through the queue without playing anything until it gets to the end of the season. Very strange and irritating.

Great app for managing my video media, using the live tv and dvr as well. It should restore the grid guide. I don't care to see icons to know what to watch and can't tell what channel is on. Recording options could use some improvement. Will increase the stars when grid option is added. Exists on the iPad. Why not Android?

This has been a great app on all platforms... But with the new more customizable apps now on my TV and PC this seems clumsy. It's still great but looking forward to getting UNO Everywhere android version on my phone. I had originally only given 4 stars as I wait for new Version but the present app works perfectly well it's just not as good as UNO...

I think I am going to cancel my subscription. I am currently paying for adverts on my media (the forced news section) and the updates cause playback and buffering issues. None of these complaints are even addressed by Plex devs. I am going to find a more reliable service. I have even seen free services better than this.

Very unstable on the Plex server side! Negative surprises almost daily. The server has to uninstalled & reinstalled frequently to correct issues. That's a sign of very sloppy coding that doesn't clean up behind itself. There's other issues too numerous for a review here. There is no real tech support! No bug reports or responses. Just posts about bugs that evidently never get fixed. Coders seem to be trying stuff that's over their head. IMHO, Plex should be filed in the trash & start Plex 2!

Fantastic and reliable. Would be 5 star except that plex promotes nord vpn as a partner which will actually block your home server from communicating with the outside world, and there's no workaround for this - believe me I've tried! This is however a common issue with most affordable vpn providers, it's just ridiculous that you'd choose to partner with a service that you know messes with the key selling point of your service. Maybe sales dept Should have talked to IT before doing that deal!

This is the best software you could find if you are a hoarder of media. The PC software nicely sorts out everything, downloads the data in a neat and tidy database where you can filter everything to the genre you want and play it. Amazing. This app let's you watch them on your android device after you pay a small amount for that functionality.

"Playback has stopped because the connection to the plex media server has been lost" message all the time when I press 'Next' button, which is common at tv shows. This happened since last update on my android devices and the shield tv. What is going on?

Have been waiting a long time to pull the trigger on this software but now that I've done so I am continually excited. Only wish making the star ratings was a bit easier for those of us with large fingers.

It would be great if it didn't keep pushing stuff I don't want in my face. How do I get rid of the nag about Tidal? Edit 201910: Looking at the reviews Plex is going downhill constantly. It is still a real pain getting support for this product. I can't get answers to problems from Plex even though I have a lifetime subscription. When it works it's an okay application.

Recent update breaks navigation of collections on Nvidia shield tv. When scrolling right on collection items - it selects an invisible selection between each item, when selected it goes to the previous item. (Also shows a strip of the cropped poster when selecting invisible item)

Plex is getting annoying. I can't cast to my TV from my computer. I can't search my libraries from the mobile app. They have no tech support this app is becoming a joke and I've loved Plex for years. Today it's just making me angry

Plex has terrible QC with their mobile app. Theres random functional bugs where rewinding 10s doesnt work properly or fast forwarding causes it to skip to next episode.... Please have a better criteria for release candidates. I love Plex, but their android app always has some regression.

Could be a nice thing but there are to many bugs... There is no real structure in developing and no quality control before releasing a new version... some releases work like a charm but some are just a mess...

I honestly cant belive I paid for this app. It crashes regularly and the audio will always stream out of sync with the video. I cant even watch any media because of how bad it is. Tons of bugs and a generally horrible experience.

Good idea but this app and the actual program themself are so gltichy. It freezes often, playback doesn't begin where you left off (most of the time), shows you've watched so unwatched and vice versa.

Free version does absolutely nothing people use the service for. Can't even see if it will work well enough to justify any purchase because of the absolute lack of useful functionality. Uninstalled.

Podcast function is terrible. Cuts out randomly, doesn't download episodes when manually selected, and frequently won't work at all (even with downloaded episodes) when out of cell signal.

Much better than it used to be. Sometimes hangs on my phone - won't connect. But, ok on my wife's phone.

Constantly stops playing a podcast and loose a position where it was. Not possible to download a particular podcast episode to offline mode even if you are having life time support

Auto merge function ruins your libraries unless rename every single file to match their naming scheme and you can't turn this feature off so you are forced to rename everything if you want it to show up properly. Honestly would recommend otherwise but this feature has caused me so much frustration.

An amazing bit of software! Have used it for the last 5 years and love it. With the great support and regular updates it keeps on getting better.

This remains one of the most frustrating apps ever. 90% of the time, it crashes on launch. 90% of the time, it's fine on the second launch. Trying to keep things sync'd is a full-time job. After each play, I need to go to the web interface to mark the episode as played, then go to the app to make sure it got the message, and fetches the next episode. This should just work without babysitting. Behavior in this area is so inconsistent, I can't recommend it to non-nerds. That said, Plex as a whole is marvelous, provided you use the web interface instead of the app.

Downloaded it for my LG smart tv then I had to download it on my computer, and when I click to connect it to my PC it's non responsive. Waste of $4.

SEVERE stability issues when streaming to Chromecast devices: freezing, crashing, stuttering. Maybe stop screwing around with podcasts and webshows, which none of us care about, and actually get the core functionality of Plex working correctly.

As time goes by and updates are released, it seems the app moves further away from what made Plex appealing in the first place. New features tend to be implemented and activated by default requiring the user top navigate a new landscape upon log in which can be frustrating (regardless of how cool the new features are) when one simply wants to access their existing library. For the most, part things work well though.

Absolutely garbage. Plex used to work fine until they updated it to this viewer. Non functional on s10+ and obscure help available doesn't fix. Disappointed.

Sound cuts out randomly. Trying to seek through a TV show episode actually seeks through the whole series of episodes for that show.

Until the music playback issue is fixed, this app is useless to me. I use the mobile app to listen to music waay more than I use it to sit down and watch a movie. And while the bug is active that causes music playback to stutter when the phones display is put to sleep and/or when Plex is sent to the background, I'm finding this app to be less and less useful.

The app is definitely worth the money. As long as you or a close friend arr host in the server the app is very robust.

Fantastic! Makes my video and music collection available anywhere. And with a great interface.

App is getting much better, I am still having issues with using the Chromecast, it starts buffering after 20 min. All other devices work fine

Avoid.. This has caused me nothing but frikken headaches... Worked for a limited time then constantly says offline (mobile app) or server not found in my smart tv..

I really like when I'm on mobile data and I go to skip back 10 seconds I end up in a whole different episode.

App is garbage for Android with Chromecasting. Constantly crashes, stops playing and freezes. I have a new Android phone with updates software. 💩

August 7th 2019 update caused app to just sit in "not connected" state. App will attempt to connect for 3 to 5 seconds then say "not available right now." Red "Offline" banner next to my media despite being connected. Paid for a product I'm not receiving. App worked semi-ok before update. Always says "offline" and loses placement in media forcing a reboot between sessions. That, I could deal with. Agree with others: too many clicks. Inception-like UI. Still not working 9-22

This app and Plex itself used to be great. I love the features and the simplicity, but it seems that either the developer has lost their minds, or everyone else besides me has decided that Plex should be used for everything else first, and a home media server library player last. E.g. podcasts, web channels, music, photo camera rolls and Live TV and DVR. Plex is now a bloated and infuriating app to use for this reason and I can no longer recommend it.

Was a 5-star app for me until the last update or two. 1. They removed the ability to change the playback speed. I listen to audiobooks and talk shows at a faster speed but now I cannot with Plex. 2. They changed the behavior of playback resume after making or receiving calls. Before playback would resume after and calls were made, missed, or answered. Now, even missed calls stop playback. We should have the options to control this. I liked the always resume especially while driving.

until plex can fix there cache issue, -3 stars. cached songs still use data. app will crash and songs will pause during playback. slightly different when on wifi, but do not experience any of this issue, only when on cellular network. plex you have my info, if you need logs contact me! update:8/1 still the same issues 9/20 still using cellular data when using offline data. Why? FIX the Caching issue.

Overall really happy with the service, so much so I have just paid for the lifetime plex pass. Really easy to use and setup and share all the media you own. Managing the server can be a bit of a chore remotely. The app is really good for consuming the content but managing you media server has to be through the web interface which is a bit clunky on mobile devices. Would benefit from a second app, just for remote server management, adding new user accounts and reviewing the dashboard.

Good but could be better I would like the player to have the sound wave pattern brought back, that was actually handy. The offline sync option is buggy, for instance, it requires a server connection to view offline content, this is a nuisance when one is driving between connections. Would also appreciate the ability to customise the layout, for an example, I do not care to sort by artist but rather album, always feels like a stretch to use content in this way.

This Plex app and the Plex server are especially useful as Google is doing away with Google Music!! I want control over my music and I don't want to listen to ads!! Very happy with this app. I like its functionality. I also like how they price their features. Very reasonable for $5 to activate a single device and still play music off your server for free. If this product becomes a mainstay I will likely upgrade.

One upon a time I recommended this app, but the folks at plex seem to have forgotten that they are competing with totally free rival services. This app is really a paid $6 app that locks you out of any useful features until you pay. Devs should be ashamed of themselves for gouging their user base. Guess this is why plex stopped growing round 2015 and hasn't added a new feature in about as long. Just set up owncloud and any music player and ditch this waste of money.

Currently having an issue syncing. I've modified every setting known to man. No dice. Please fix immediately.

I love the mac version but the Android version is confusing and buggy. It seems to have issues staying in sync with the server, so things you just edit don't line up (I.e. add to playlist). Chrome casting causes the app to crash. Random other annoyances leave you feeling like your going crazy (get connection to server lost when watching synced content in offline mode). You end up trying to trick the application into working. I'm a lifetime subscriber for what it's worth

The app is good. It works. But there are couple of really big features missing... Ability to disable direct play. This feature makes plex on android tv box useless. There is a severe audio sync issue because of it, i did disable it on an older app on smart tv and it solved the issue. But i can't disable it on the TV box. Second, less important but annoying. There is no ability to go back to android mod from tv mod without reinstalling the app.

The app itself is easy to use. You do however have to pay 5 bucks per play store account. Then you can stream from the free server account. The second part I hate is that I cannot download a movie from the server to let it play smoother unless you are a premium member (plex pass) which means you pay $5 monthly, $40 annually, or $120 lifetime. Other than that, I love it.

Disappointed with forced payment to use! I used to use this app on ipod touch and loved it. Great app to organize and play media content from my computer, I have used it on my ipod and tv and have thoroughly enjoyed the app. Downloaded this for android as I switched smart phones and now they want me to pay to unlock something that is TOTALLY FREE on iOS! I am very disappointed with this tactic forcing you to pay when they have other means of collecting money through their subscription service.

Installed, said I needed to activate, tried, said, Error, you already owned it hit okay, repeat. What gives? Why won't it work?

Works pretty well most of the time. Updates are kind of hit and miss in terms of stability, and they make baffling choices in terms of which features they focus on -- VR support? Really? But you can't add a few simple sorting options for music...? Zero support, even if you're a paying customer.

The app is a demo. To play a video for more than a minute you have to pay. This is a bit deceptive. $5.00 AUS is not much but be please be upfront about it. I love PLEX for windows, both web browser & their generic Plex player versions are excellent (Not the windows 10 app which is average). The android app however is very poorly laid out and cumbersome. I have a favourite shows library but accessing that in the android App is tedious. A work around for your local content on android just use chrome and log into your local Plex media server.

The new GUI is not good at all. It feels as it lacks features, and navigation got slower and much more difficult on LG TV and Samsung TV. I only use it on the phone to stream music, and that could be so much better. I have cancelled my subscription and is now looking at other solutions. Don't get me wrong here, Plex is still a great Media server

I normally love Plex, it's an amazing app when it works. The latest updates have caused the app to crash almost immediately on several of my devices. Pixel 2, Samsung Galaxy S2 Tablet, Fire Tv Stick, and Fire TV Cube. Something is seriously wrong with the app as it stands now. Please fix this devs! Edit: After trying all sorts of random troubleshooting, I left a server that a family member was sharing with me, this immediately solved my issues. Users remember to update your servers regularly!

I love Plex and it's really useful but this app is atrocious. If it doesn't get stuck in a loading loop it's playing the video in a tiny portion of the screen. If it's not doing that then it's forgetting how to sync files leaving an annoying notification on my phone all day. If it's not doing that then it's forgetting how to order my TV libraries. All to access a service I'm paying for on my own hardware. The UI is slow and unintuitive too. I'm running out of space now but you get the point.

The concept of Plex is great, however most all of the clients and apps they make are buggy, confusing, and just overall awful. For plex pass users like myself, I expect more from the experience. Please give us an interface that is consistent, intuitive, and most importantly, one that works. There are so many issues (syncing issues, very slow to load libraries) that are specific to the Android app. Many people bring issues to your attention on the forums and nothing is ever done to fix anything.

love this app, but they can't find my purchase records for the app. Effectively not allowing me to use it after purchasing it. I'm sure it's just a profit margin situation, where they want multiple purchases from the same customer if you want it on a mobile device.

I used to love Plex and have been rexommending it to friends for years but they're heading in the wrong direction. I have a subscription and want to use Plex for my media, not streaming news or Tidal. I have a large collection of lossless files and have been requesting basic features for playback for years but instead I have Tidal integration. This last update puts Tidal in my sources list and I can't figure out how to remove it. Check out Jellyfin instead, at least they aren't pushy

App works great for casting from my PC to a chromecast, but is unable to play directly from my PC to my phone anymore (have Plex Pass). Videos just sit loading (eventually the app freezes and android gives the option to kill it). Using other video players I am able to play directly from my PC without a problem, onky rcently experienced this issue.

The plex app is amazing... when it wants to work. I am using the galaxy s10 and Randomly when I want to go to my playlists or choose one of the few options to sort my music it will with out fail crash consistently. Syncing music is completely worthless due to the very lackluster or non-existent buffering/caching makes it feel as if I haven't downloaded it in the first place.

Great app guys, Dev's you folks are the MVP. Already a premium members, but quick question tho, anyway to have portrait video orientation? Similar to what MX Player has going on, so I won't have to use external player as much. Other than that, the app is great. Thanks again Plex Team!

Still has serious issues with synchronising to your phone. There are so many times when it refuses to transcode the video you have selected to synchronise, and the video just sits there in the queue saying "pending". It seems to be because Plex thinks it's already been downloaded, or something? The only solution is to completely log out and log back in again and force it to refresh everything. Clearing the cache has no effect. Not really great usability though.

Sync never has worked. Not sure what the app has over a web browser. Very frustrating.

Great product unless something is broken... Don't even think about using this as a DVR with firetvs. The scrolling in the guide has been broken ever since it released and the devs don't even acknowledge the issue when it is brought up let alone attempt to fix it.

Hardly EVER WORKING!!! It's been a huge waste of time and money in my opinion. VERY unreliable!! update:. 3/13/19 I finally got it working after many days and nights of researching and troubleshooting. once I finally got everything configured right, everything works fine. I am quite happy with it now! update to four stars Update: 8/20/19 after 5 months of Plex periodically working and then not working for long stretches, I believe I will go with EMBY. At least it works pretty reliability.

Ok! Great update! Not perfect... app still has a tendency to timeout/crash whether its in focus or not... Samsung Galaxy Note 9... but THANK YOU so MUCH for getting rid of that horrible stuttering when app is not in focus and/or display is off... Another issue (although minor) when you tap on the "playback info" and it shows -1kbps ... and then a transcode message stating it exceeds max allowed when i have set original qualty for all... 🤔 it did not do this 3-4 revisions ago... thanks again!

I have an old Ubuntu box that works well as a Plex server, and with the app we can stream anything in our library using Chromecast or just play on devices. I'm not really picky on a/v quality, so perhaps that's why I don't have some of the complaints others have. Issues with a recent update with not being able to cast, but as soon as I "claimed" the Plex server based on a prompt I received in the app, the problem cleared right up. Lots of convenient functionality for something that's free.

This app needs a serious UX/UI overhaul. Just to figure out how to see my media on my phone I have to read an article to figure out how to sync individual series and movies at a time? This should be totally intuitive. If its hosted, why can't it all just be streamed? Each sync takes forever. ALSO this is quite easily, hands down, the sloooowwweeesstt goddam app I've EVER used on both my TV and my phone. Takes minutes to load screens. Who is in charge of performance? Because they're clearly sleeping on the job. There is zero improvement once you start paying as well. So much for a 'premium' subscription :-(

Casting to chrome cast isn't working with current version. Casting works fine from my laptop though.

Every update it just gets worse. Couldn't get the screen to stop rotating when I play on Chromecast but finally found the setting for it. When playing on Chromecast, you can't go to any other screen in Plex without it stopping the playback. I think I'm going to start looking for an alternative.

Even in New update supposed to fix multiple problems, there is no stop/exit movie functionality! I can only pause, F2F, Rewind and continue play. what is it? How to stop movie and return to movies screen? Still forced to use Plex on KODI add-on to be able to use full functionality! I can't click on 'X' with remote in TV mode. I use it on android TV box. Again, after updating to latest version, dont see the functionality to quit the movie. only FF, REWIND an PAUSE.

When it works, it's great. But so often it decides it doesn't want to work for any particular reason, no changes in phone OS, app updates or anything. Just randomly stops working. Very frustrating and is the only reason I don't buy Plex Premium service due to issues.

The app is broken for over a month now, latest versions always see the plex media server offline if you are able to login, much older versions, as old as 6-10 months ago will let you login and they work the first time the app is accessed, after that they see the plex media server as offline. Posting on plex forum didn't help much, after a few back and forth posts and after sending them the logs, it's quiet, no reply for over a week now. Dev team is missing in action :((

Pros: Looks good, Lots of clients for different devices, Easy to setup, Music well organised. Cons: Slow to tune in live tv channels, Randomly shows "weak signal" even though I get a strong dvb-t2 signal, No grid view for channel guide or ability to easily select a channel and time, Recorded tv merges in with movies library (would perfer it separate), No transcoding available for synology ds415play (although it can do hw transcoding).

So I'm in and out of a truck over 100 times a day. So the ability to out audio books onto a plex server is very useful. Until recently I would have classified the app as moderately glitchy, but now I would say it complete garbage. Before when I would be listening to a book anything but recieving a text or email would cause the app to start freezing up and utimately shutdown and fail the playback. Using the slider bar you could get back to your spot, but now you cant even do that.

I'm not at all happy with this app. It crashes a couple of mins into a track and does not restart. It is therefore useless. I have a Samsung Galaxy S10 - plex should be compatible with a flagship handset but sadly their tech support don't seem to want to know. A let down after years of happy usage on iOS.

Signed up for Plex Pass and pretty impressed. I'm sure everyone's already talked about the great interface and usability, so I'll comment on my top 3: Like how I can sync to mobile; remote access via Fire Stick or android TV; minimal use of system resources. Only thing I would improve is the ability to sync a specific version of a video, as I have titles that are both 3D and HD and it defaults to syncing the first item on the list. Other than that, nice work & thanks for the constant updates!

I have been using "plex" since it was xbmc I have plex servers that house my movies, TV shows, music and photos. Over the past year or so as the developers have been focusing on adding more and more paid content features the software has been getting more and more unstable, bugs have made the plex app next to unusable. Media randomly freezes during playback, app crashes without provocation, odd behaviour ensues. And plex tech isn't working on these issues, they are too busy adding new feaures.

This app is so clunky it's like watching tv with grandma when she won't give up the remote. The android app is terrible. Whomever programmed your features has never listened to podcasts. It does not sync to the fire tv. The navigation there is even worse than on the phone because now you're moving through terrible click flow while also working with a simple X direction input. I rage quit after an hour getting ONE podcast to my current listening progress. No way it's worth the money to subscribe.

I open a video, crash. I try opening a different video, crash. I try sorting items via Folder, crash. I try pausing an unpausing a video after it starts playing, crash. I try loading a playlist, crash. Unless you like Crashes. STAY FAR FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS DUMPSTER FIRE.

It's useless. Won't connect to my home cloud media server.

Best Media Center. Even on a different country I can see what I have in my server.

The new UI experience is horrible for Android TV (NVIDIA SHIELD TV). You need to do way more actions than before to get to somewhere. It used to be so simple, just switch between movies/tv shows and watch it, however now click this click that... Update all libraries is just pure pain. The main screen is just nothing (placeholder screen), why? Will looking for ways to rollback :(

Garbage application at this time. can't dectect my server. Even when it is detected the player throws me an error message even though the video is already playing. I had na old pirated version that worked better than this, I can't believe I spent money on this.

Pay to play for mobile version is the ca$h cow for Plex. Sad.

When playing music, doesn't being buffering the next track until the current one is finished, inducing a 5 second silence. Now doing this weird thing where it aggregates separate folders even tho the id3 tags are distinct for the files. Got tired of trying to fix it & installed subsonic instead. Do yourself a favour & do the same.

Chrome Cast works poorly or crashes all the time. Please fix this.

Please stop adding useless features like podcasts and news and make the core function, streaming movies and TV shows, actually work and not perpetually crash. It's especially bad when I try to chromecast, a function every other app seems to do just fine.

Love it!! I stream all my media from my raspberry with no issue at all. I just wish I can set the music player options permanently like Repear all, and shuffle... no big deal but would love the player to remember last options set.

Love Plex but the app leaves much to be desired. won't connect to pms among other bugs

this was good. dont know what happened but now it sucks keeps breaking connection and flat out won't load some stuff update 2019 08 15 I don't know what you guys have done but when I 1st got this 6 months ago the app was working just fine and now I can't even play a movie without it constantly buffering over cell service and nothing has changed in my use or location of this app. honestly go kody or DLC rather then pay for a sometimes working app.

Has become the family joke. Have it running on the Nvidia Shield (now does not run and will be returning the shield after years of painful use, even after returning to older version of app) and on XPS 15 laptop (runs but I cannot have the laptop to use elsewhere). If it does run, it will begin with spinning percent wheel after a few seconds and we usually give up after a few minutes of having the percent wheel up more than the movie. Great idea, but does not work as we would all want it to perform. Now using a USB SSD that I load for movie night and plug into the OLED Sony tv as it will play 100% of the time. Recap: % of the time it is a working system- NVIDIA Shield: 10%-0% (yes, descending, hasn't worked in weeks) XPS laptop: 30% USB SSD stick: 100%

Excellent service, but there always seems to be something up with the app, especially as far as using Chromecast is concerned. I'm able to connect fine, I initiate playback, then the app crashes. According to the Plex subreddit, the last stable version is 7.17.4.11141. Devs please prioritize!

A very strange app, totally baffling interface which makes it almost impossible to use. The only option in music is Tidal and I neither have nor want an account. The Plex server on my network was ignored although it can be found by Roku. I gave up in frustration and will probably uninstall the app and the server A friend, who is sn AV professional, gave up trying to configure it and said it should be called ComPlex.

I run the media server from my desktop, file storage on a qnap nas, connect using an old android tablet and cast to a chrome cast connected to my tv. I bought the app and purchased a lifetime plex pass. It is not perfect but the problems are minimal. Our 5 year old twins can even work the system as I have it setup!

view Wi-Fi connections
Allows the app to view information about Wi-Fi networking, such as whether Wi-Fi is enabled and name of connected Wi-Fi devices.

allow Wi-Fi Multicast reception
