Bought a new RCA Voyager tablet. Discovered the dreaded Google Play Services 504 error when trying to update it.. Tried everything I could to fix it and nothing worked., making this tablet basically useless. When I contacted RCA they basically said they are working in it. Came across this app and decided to try it. They ask you to try a couple of ideas and if that fails (which mine did) they have an email button to push to let them know. The next morning I got a response with a link to a Google Play Services apk file which I downloaded and installed on the affected tablet. The tablet now works perfectly.. Thank you

Just another opportunist type app. The information is generic and unhelpful; i know this because I've already tried ALL of this (and so much more) which I've found on countless websites, none of which has solved or even eased the issue. For example, if your phone is not rooted (you have unlimited access to all settings, etc), you will NOT be able to "uninstall updates" from system apps. Pointless apps like this shouldn't be allowed anywhere, they just spread false hope, wasting peoples time.

Wow only second time ever a google play app develiper has ever replied. Thank you for your qick respinse, but i doubt you can help the error is from one specific app not all apps. From my previouse experience it is google play them self and the way the play store works that is messing up the down load. I have had the problem before on two peviouse android phones and in the last 10 years have not found a solution once the play store has screwed up the download of this app. there is no cure.
