Nice music, nice visuals, nice story, excellent layout and game flow. I cannot find a reason for someone not to play it if they want picross puzzles.

Purely as a picross/nonogram puzzle game, this is good. I has plenty of pictures to go through, and they are well done. The controls can be difficult on the 20x20 puzzles; a stylus helped me there. The game's greatest strength and weakness is the story. It starts off interesting, but gets very trite toward the end. The style is inconsistent and amateurish. For a game with the word "tale" in its title, this is a serious flaw. I want to know what happens next, but can you get a better writer?

Excellent game! Some comments are complaining about no zoom on the 20x20. Not sure if it's a new feature since those reviews, but you can just switch to "hand" mode and the issue of accidental clicks mostly disappears. No problems with ads. My only issue is that the story seems to end at chapter 6? It's not really clear if there will be new chapters or if that's just the end. If there will be new chapters, then it would be nice to have some idea of the timeline. Otherwise, the story is incomplete

I like this game. It's similar to most other nonogram games, with a story section that has related puzzles, and a normal section with puzzles that are unrelated. The story ends oddly and abruptly with no conclusion, so I assume it's continued in a sequel game. The English could be improved, since it is clearly written by a non-native speaker. I'd be happy to offer my services at rewriting it.

A good puzzle game except for one huge flaw. Some of the puzzles are very hard to complete due to the close hues that some completed squares have with the background. This makes it basically only possible to do some puzzles by trial and error if you suffer from color blindness. A good fix for this would be to make several background color options in the settings. I'd give it a 5 star rating if it had offered that as an option.

Really clever idea! The puzzles are well laid out and seem really difficult at first, but once you get the hang of it it's so logical and methodical. The ads aren't really a problem, they just pop up and you can close them immediately. It might be nice to have a zen mode with no penalty for making a mistake, but in story mode if you do make a mistake it just lets you start over (not sure if normal mode is the same)

  7. Midori Sleazoid-avatar

    Midori Sleazoid

It's a good picross experience that will scratch the picross itch, but the color of tiles can get confusing and blend together, on the 20x20 (and the 15x15 to a lesser extent) puzzles you will be required to use the onboard controls as the puzzles are too small to use your fingers. The story is accompanied by good illustrations, but the story is very basic, littered with typos, strange logic, and unfortunately incomplete leaving you without a conclusion.

Overall great game with some minor flaws. First I would like to see the post completion ads removed as they can get tedious when completing multiple levels in one go. After that I would like to have a size option for the grid, I have rather large fingers which caused some misclick issues. When doing the line dragging action the ability to go horizontal or vertical without bringing my finger up would be nice, as sometimes it would try to go the wrong way. Lovely game, hope for more story levels!

neat idea, poor execution. biggest problem is that there are too many times when it doesn't recognize an error, so you can't recover and you have to do the level over because there's an x where there should be a square. also the puzzles aren't centered on the screen so getting to the edges is tough. and the "chapters" are 3 or 4 times longer than they should be for a story format.

Hands down the best picross game I've played. Great mechanics and qol, multiple input methods, an undo feature, a set amount of hints per puzzle with no IAP (that I've noticed) and fairly unobtrusive ads. The puzzles are fantastic too - it's satisfying to see a picture come together, and the large pictures made up of multiple smaller puzzles are absolutely fantastic. I only wish I had a larger screen to play it on but that's my issue, the control options keep it playable on small devices
