I just checked with google and was informed that no app needs to know the remote telephone number of a call or any other information like that for your type of application. They also told me that the developer needs to fix it on their end. And the developer is solely responsible for the permissions and its code that the application is demanding. They also pointed out that other application in the same category currently in are not asking for the same permissions your application is asking for.

  61. heylou-avatar

Perfect! Every piano composer should have this. A lot quicker than sitting there on the circle of fifths counting from the root lol

  62. uday karthik-avatar

Awesome app but must admit, chordify is kind of better than this app but chordify also simplifies the chords which I don't like but chordify has way better ui than this app.

  63. Ayihou Samson-avatar

I love this app it very good for chords

  64. Ino Wheeno-avatar

    Very organized. Great reference!

  65. Aron Petritz-avatar

subscription doesn't work with the account i want it to work on. i wanted to subscribe to the pro version with my new main g-account but it doesn't recognize it anymore once i add a second one? I'm guessing it's only checking the subscription status on the first account you ever downloaded the app on.

  66. Jer Muh-avatar

I purchased this app so it could help me sketch out ideas while away from my studio. I downloaded the free version, and it seemed like a winner. However, after buying it, every single time I try to use any feature the sound drops and the screen is blank. Also, almost nothing works in this app. all the "locked" features that I unlocked by paying money? NONE of them work properly. I am requesting a refund. I dont have time to try and get someone elses app to work. That I paid for. Sorry.

  67. Nonso Nuel-avatar

Awesome app. I've learnt alot so far

  68. Christina G.-avatar

It basically has everything that I need. I think paying around $4 for the 1-year PRO version subscription is incredibly generous considering how many features one will have access to. It's the definition of perfection for me. I wish the interface would be more appealing, but even though it isn't, it serves its purpose wonderfully. This is my favourite app. Saves me a lot of time and energy.

  69. Rephraseit-avatar

Sorry, this app occasionally displays its front menu when I'm doing my thing. Even sometimes switched itself in when I'm on other app. I've just subscribed. Imma try some stuffs, and will edit this comment if the problem's gone.

  70. caleb-avatar

fun to jot down musical ideas in.

  71. Jeremy M.-avatar

I wish I had more than 500 words! Let me start by saying this is probably a 5 star app for most people. However, it was not working properly on my Note 8. Songtive has GRADE A+ CUST SERVICE. They refunded my $ then requested tech details. Given my current lack of time I refused. I feel this app is superior to others and will be a winner for MOST. I'm well into my music career, know music theory, & say: TRY IT. At any level. I know from exp they wont hold your money hostage if you cant use it -JM

  72. Melody Hollis-avatar

I signed up for subscription, but cancelled. The app is really glitchy. It crashed a couple of times, and the sound stopped working multiple time as I was trying to build chord progressions. It's a great concept, but it was too annoying yo have to restart the app and lose all my settings every time the sound quit working.

  73. Connor Carbon-avatar

DEVS: there's so many bugs in real-life workflow of this app. FIX THEM! 1. Piano "jumps around" when scrolling view of keys, then pressing record/stop/cancel/record/etc. 2. In Scale Dict. when choosing a scale, then editing the scale to a different root note, then pressing "save" it just disappears?? 3. Scale detector shouldn't playback the full scale right when entering the notes, but AFTER! USE your APP and squash your Bugs. I paid for lifetime subscrip, I better get lifetime bug fixes!

  74. Markus Leuthel-avatar

This musician's tool has a very interesting and intelligent concept, as is evident even by just taking a brief look at the trial version. IMHO it's a pity that the producing company also seems to have to resort to modern day "micro payment" bullcrap economy. Yet it seems to be hard enough anyway to earn enough money with well thought out & highly specialized software like this, so this is still understandable. Five stars for the good concept. Would be nice to also be able to purchase a fully featured Win / Mac / Linux version, to be paid for only once, but _not_ by some nerve wrecking subscription model. Cheers & thumbs up.

  75. A Google user-avatar

great App and full of information, I love it. only thing I may complain about, it is a bit slower than expected. moving from one part to the other is slow, not sure why, maybe it access a server or something over the internet while using it. all in all, very informative application and we'll done.

  76. Jose Ángel Sebastián Peral-avatar

    Jose Ángel Sebastián Peral

Great app for piano reference, scales, chords... really helps structuring music in your head. You can use it to learn your own way and store whatever patterns come to your mind

  77. Libya Freeman-avatar

Best app I've downloaded for music. It has too many features to name. But it has really helped me in piano theory and composition

  78. Keith Buys-avatar

Lite version lacks any valuable tools. All is does when you want to go to a section is tell you available in the light version. If then take wants to take you shopping four features that are listed in the title but not included when you download the free version. Sounds like bait and switch to me. I deleted it immediately

  79. James Medaugh-avatar

Relentless upselling. The free side of the app has basically no functionality. As soon as you press more than 2 buttons anywhere you are told that those features are locked behind a paywall.

  80. Jesse Pasmino-avatar

Really great app been using it for years , got pretty much everything you need

  81. chris ray-avatar

awesome app for anyone learning music theory. useful for any tonal instrument. so many useful features and references. it kinda does everything. there's even a full keyboard! so cool. i might suggest adding a metronome, but even without it, i love this app.

  82. Alexandre Gonçalves-avatar

    Alexandre Gonçalves

I've been searching for an app like this for a long time! I can finally make some chord progressions with ease at the phone and export to have fun later in my computer's DAW! Just be warned: it doesn't allow to save nor export unless you purchase the pro version.

  83. L. Agustín Acuña-avatar

    L. Agustín Acuña

It is a good and quite useful app if you pay the subscription. I must admit that the interface isn't really friendly, though. Anyway, this a great tool for musicians (Mainly piano players) and it is nicely made, in overall.

  84. George Asiedu Arthur bass1-avatar

    George Asiedu Arthur bass1

    Very useful and suberb.

  85. Tyler Byars-avatar

    Fantastic. A wonderful educational tool

  86. LeROYtheLAMA-avatar

Utterly useless without buying lifetime subscription. I tried this a while ago and it had more features then. Seems like this one has run its course anyway: UI is not user-friendly pr 2019 standards and feels like it's purposely made just to give the illusion of far more functionalities than it has. There's better alternatives for less money, even free..

  87. ivan wright-avatar

Nice app I've never seen so much scales in my entire life

  88. A Google user-avatar

add kind passing chords that can be learned by the user and user from there can learn how to develop more passing chord and how he can use them. And equally with clear inside to how fifth of scales can be applied by example which are clear, that even you the developer can understand that user uderstands too. Thanks

  89. Alec Hatch-avatar

Good for quick reference. Anything beyond that is glitchy, non-working and frustrating. Saving and attempting to load is only good for making the app crash. When I find something comparable I'm going to delete this.

  90. shamelessrohit-avatar

good app... but it keeps crashing whenever I go to chord progression mode... EVERYTIME!! and please make some tutorial videos so that new users can get some help... I still can't use it to it's full potential.

  91. Ethan Aeschbacher-avatar

    Ethan Aeschbacher

Perfect If you need to look up a chord, or I went caroling with my high school choir and my teacher uses an app similar to this to give us our starting notes for our music

  92. Flor CWII-avatar

Really helps me write music, and honestly it's been so beneficial--BUT IT CRASHES LITERALLY EVERY 60 SECONDS when making chord progressions and choosing chords. Pretty annoying, but at least the app doesn't take too long to close and restart? This is with the paid version, too.

  93. A&A Rally Team USA-avatar

    A&A Rally Team USA

So, I installed this. As a composer I appreciate any app that helps me create music that flows better, and this did just that. Seeing all the features I bought pro within about 10 minutes of downloading. Really a great app dev, great job :)

  94. A Google user-avatar

It's actually useful and does what it says. Has features and information that even experienced players can benefit from. There is a paid feature but its not expensive and not needed to run most of the features in the app.

  95. PRÂGMÄTIŠM-avatar

This app is unmatched as a piano reference, it's my go to app for pretty much everything. I've found some awesome chords and scales in songs that I liked and used this app to help me identify them.

  96. Basic Strings-avatar

Looking to learn piano, This is going to one of the best apps to learn and play piano, I have learned a lot from this app, and its free too, But one PROBLEM i face, if i play a Block chord, It gets freezed, means i am not able to play the next chord as nots gets freezed.. Please have a look and Fix...👌

  97. A Google user-avatar

Having absolutely no knowledge of music, the circle of fifths feature helped me bring the music I wanted to sing to a lower note. Very intuitive.

  98. Pianostyle100-avatar

This app is great 50 years experience. Play.about.10 instrumentd. Still learning it probably will review on my channel soon.

  99. Leif Carlson-avatar

I subscribed to the pro features, seems to work great. Very useful for songwriting, and well worth the 3 bucks.

  100. George Eldridge-avatar

    George Eldridge

Works really well in theory but not all chords are correct. For example, most of the F chords are notated wrong. F7 is shown as Bb7. Please fix this kind of thing.
