Check how good your mobile phone signal strength is at home or at work, upstairs or downstairs.

Is the signal strength low or are you having a lot of cell handovers due to a poor signal; check if you should consider a different mobile phone operator, or make your important calls from a different room.

Phone Signal Strength allows you to check mobile phone signal quality in detail (signal strength, handovers, radio type changes) over time and get cell network information.

Monitor signal strength
Provides an overview of SIM, network and signal strength (up to 1 minute). The signal graph is color-coded to represent the signal level (green, yellow, red). Cell handovers are shown with vertical orange bars. Cell radio technology changes (e.g. LTE 4G to UMTS 3G) are shown with blue vertical bars.

Signal strength graph
Shows a detailed signal strength graph with data since Phone Signal Strength was started (up to 60 minutes). Scrollable and pinch-zoomable.

Telephony information
Shows an overview of the current phone and SIM information.

Cell towers
Shows the cells detected.

Statistics
Shows the percentage of time the signal level has been low, good or very good.
Shows the number of cell handovers and type changes (e.g. LTE 4G to UMTS 3G).
Shows a list of significant events, including: Cell handovers, cell type changes and signal strength dropping to low.

Notes
Please note that not all phones correctly report signal strength. If you have a problem with Phone Signal Strength, please report it as a bug and I will investigate. Thanks.

Please add the option to remove the "get started" button. I have to drag down my notification bar turn on my GPS then I have to load the program and then I have to hit another button to have it actually start? If the app isn't running in the foreground then I have zero indication of a poor signal? Have you considered that the user might actually be using the GPS for something besides monitoring their GPS signal strength? Is there some way we can prevent a handoff from one antenna to another?

I've used this for nearly a year and it is tremendously helpful. The color changes show the strength of the signal. I live in an area that has -109 to - 113 dBm ratings, and understand why I had issues with phone calls (I recently got Wi-Fi calling service, so no longer an issue). Thanks.

Performs exactly as advertised. Excellent app! It helps me determine if my WiFi is actually needed, since using WiFi is such a battery drain. With the rapid development in cell phone speeds, I rarely ever use WiFi anymore. My carrier offers speeds that are just as fast as any WiFi.

excellent app, does exactly what it says. very clean and intuitive interface. definitely support the dev! My only suggestion(no criticism here) would be a widget to allow a quick glance before drilling into more detail. excellent work

Excellent! This clean, clear, well behaved program does what it needs to do in a clear and intuitive way. This is NOT a commercial. It is simply difficult these days to find a program that just works and works well. It is definitely worth the price. Thank you!

A bit disappointing... Thought would add functionalities in pro version, but was just to remove ads. Network cell info lite is a much better, more powerful and complete app. I would suggest having a look at that before buying a similar app.

Great app and quick tech support, had to learn to read stats bar graph correctly (picked a bad day to stop doing lsd!) tech explained how to interpret data within a couple hours via email; no problems on LG G5, android 7; paid version worth it for no ads

It was fine for an hour after installing it, my signal strength went up. After the 2nd hour my signal strength went way back down as if this app isn't working. So I give this 1 thumb down.

Definitely a five star app. Just don't see it often enough, but this one gives you all of it, pure and simple. Great app.

A great little app that allows you to track the signal strength of your phone. The app is also very well documented, making it easy to understand.
