The app is great, but I've faced a problem on my Android 4.4 device. The version 0.2.110 worked fine, but after updating to 0.2.115 the app cannot start, always crashes with the dialog "Unfortunally, ... has stopped.". "Clear data" and reinstalling don't help. Reverting back to 0.2.110 doesn't help neither, it crashes the same way, the only difference is that 0.2.115 proposes to send a report. Non-pro version works fine on the same device.

Well-conceived UI wrapped around a speedy little engine that spits a boggling array of elemental properties & subsidiary information. Great work.

This has become my exclusive go-to pt app (pt at all). I'm so happy I found it several years ago. Free is good, but PRO version is great (fantastic value). Like all things human made, there have been inaccuracies I and others have found, but these have been fixed by the very responsive developers even before I have had time to report them. In my opinion, if you at all have use for the pt, go with this app. I still browse the competition, but have not looked for a replacement in years.

This app is phenomenal. The calculators saved me a LOT of time. There are so much content you can get for only 2 bucks, and it is definitely eorth buying. I was very impressed - to the point it made me write a review for any app. I don't like to write reviews. All I can say is keep it up - it has got pretty much no competition but still getting better. ^~^

This App is a great tool for every scientist - professionals & students alike; all of us. It is so easy to use & it provides ALL info of any element in a very clear & readable way. Imho a 10 Star App ! Thank you, Developer(s). I strongly recommend the paid version - also to reward the developer(s) giving us this awesome App. Btw. It's really beautiful too, besides very useful. :-))

A worthwhile upgrade from the free version. It looks good overall and all of the properties are definitely interesting. Two things: Elements 119 - 126 shouldn't be on here because they haven't been synthesized/declared elements yet. Also, I don't think protium (hydrogen-1) should be radioactive (It's listed with a half-life of 10^33 years when it should be stable.) Maybe it's in the same predicament as bismuth?

Full of very interesting info, and very useful, for someone who knows v little about the subject, but who voluntarily proofreads for various biochemists and the uni department. Mentioned it to PhD biochemist son and he is impressed by it, especially for the level of detail and the cost. Lovely to hear from you. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with! You're never too old to learn :)

By far the best periodic table app I've used, well worth the $2. Such a wealth of information and presented very nicely. I really like the little animation when scrolling down on a single element how the group name background becomes the circle behind the element symbol. Thank you to the dev for your hard work on this :]

Life saving. As a college student taking chem, this app saves a lot of time from searching through pamplets of different info! BUT.... i did notice some transition metals are missing other possible ion charges, for example Hg is given an ion charge of 2+ but it also exists as 1+. Most metals were given their multiple ion charge possibilities, but a some metals lacked the other ion charges. Maybe I'm incorrect???

Hello, the app is great. Could you please add a feature that will periodically update the prices of elements? For example update the prices once a day (With elements like gold, silver, etc) and at least once a month for other elements. And then it'd be great to see price change (in %). I'm sure that you can use some 3rd party APIs for that. Thank you!

  31. David Newland-avatar

    David Newland

This periodic table is by far, the most useful one that I've ever had. There's a huge amount of information, and it's categorized and organized neatly. There's physical and thermodynamic properties, atomic and electromagnetic properties, grid parameters for each type of crystal structure, reactivity, and nuclear properties. There's even a picture of the pure element itself or of a substance containing the element. And the fact that it's all available to you offline is extremely helpful.

  32. Nicholas Oriecuia-avatar

This app works very well for many parts, but the calculator part has some problems. It does not allow for brackets in the formula, which makes it very difficult to get the mass of compounds with more than one polyatomic. It also crashes if a number goes before the atom, making it difficult to use compounds with hydrides. EDIT: Problem fixed changed to 5 stars

  33. Álvaro Corróns-avatar

Hi! It's really a wonderful app, very well done and super worthy. I'd want to make a suggestion and a report: S: in the calculator, take in account the oxidation states to formulate all right, meaning that if I wanted I could write "HO2", which is impossible... R: there's a mistake within the periodic table, as when you click on one element and you continue going from this one to the next or previous ones, the initial description is still seen. Thanks!

I rate this application with only 4 stars because of my lack of experience with it. Although the time I have spent using the app, it has proven to be exceptionally useful. I would like to see more quick links; for example it would be nice to have a quick link to wikipedia or something so we could learn more about the discoverer of the element. Thank you and keep up the good work! :)

From my experience with this app I have to say I think it is a must have for any chemistry student (like me). I paid £2.00 for full version. Amazed how much info is readily available. Only problem encountered so far is on the electron shell table - the way it is written out - but that's being pedantic. I like the format, the ease of access to the info I need, the calculator is GREAT (nice 1 for that) and there's so much more i am still to use. And only 2 quid!! Thanks guys. Highly recommended!!

This is, by far, one of the best educational apps out there! The app has a really nice and clean design, it's really easy to use and it provides a ton of information. Well done! Edit: Hey, I believe I found a bug with the molar mass calculator. Whenever you enter a digit bedore entering any element the app crashes. This happens every time you enter a digit on accident and you have to re-open the app. So maybe consider implementing an error screen in cases like this so the app just doesn't crash instantly. :)

  97. Nils Grønkjær-avatar

    Nils Grønkjær

Almost perfect! If only there was a way to rearrange the information displayed when viewing each element like being able to drag certain properties so they could be displayed before or after others. It would help reduce scrolling a lot. I think that's currently the most requested feature too. Also, personally I wish there was more than 1 photo available of each element but it's just a preference rather than anything else. Worth every single penny anyway. For now I'll give you 5 stars.

  98. Saamyo Halder-avatar

  99. Bryan-avatar

I use it for non-professional purposes, meaning I am not studying chemistry or anything. For a general interest in the periodic table and its elements, this app is very handy. It gives you detailed information on each element and has a very intuitive UI. You can have yozr elements displayed on the table or in lists and it even has a dictionary for chemistry terms. Only thing that could be added to make it even better would be a list of everyday things and their chem. comp. like:table salt - NaCl

  100. Davy Blue-avatar

    Davy Blue

I am blown away by how elegant and well-designed this app is. It has a depth of information far beyond any other periodic table app I've seen, and the data is thoughtfully laid out, set into various layers that are intuitively situated and include images and animations which offer a means to conceptualise the mechanics of the electron shells in such a way that they become more accessible to the imagination. This app is such a joy to use, I absolutely love it, thank you for creating it :)

It's an amazing app. I'm happy I've invested 1.10€ into this, because it helps a lot! There's stuff that you can't understand from one explanation from the teacher, and this app has everything you need, like seriously, this app's creators should deserve a big thanks, and that's what I'm doing - thank you, August Software! 💚

  102. Shivam Kumar-avatar

    Shivam Kumar

The app is good. Better if you add a guide for how to use the app. Like if we see isotopes, they are multi-coloured which may be used to depict if they are naturally-occuring or not, but can't be understanble by colour. I suggest you to add a guide for the same in the app in-built about section. Another thing, in the "Tables" section, last three terms, there description ends like ... due to space constraints and even if we open it we can't see the full explanation.

  103. Ankit Kumar Sharma-avatar

    Ankit Kumar Sharma

This is the only app, I purchased. And, that's because of the dedication you've shown while designing the application. I thought if Free version has appreciable amount of information, then it's pro must have plethora of others. It is like a boon for students of chemistry. Thanks for developing this wonderful handy-periodic table. A suggestion: You should add a trigger to a transition after 56th and 89th element, which when clicked shifts the lanthanides and actinides to that spot, which extends the periodic table. Suggestion 2: Embed 3D-structures for few common elements (mentioning bond angles) Keep it only for pro you might add a few for free too ;)

  104. Benjamin Hackett-avatar

    Benjamin Hackett

The pro version is definitely worth it for any lover of physics, or anyone who wants a quick way to look up the physical properties of the elements. The free version is quite good, but with the pro version you also get basic facts on material hazards and a bunch of information that is useful for applied physics, such as color, refractive index, radioactive decay, and more. Basically the free version is great for anyone who wants a nerdy overview of the elements, and the pro version is great for those who want additional data and specifics. PLEASE ADD COST PER KG/G/uG [I.E. REASONABLE UNIT] AND TOXICOLOGY INFORMATION IN TERMS OF LD NUMBERS. :)

  105. Louise Diaz-avatar

    Louise Diaz

By far the best Chemistry app I've downloaded. Free version is already awesome, but finally upgraded to pro version, and really am very satisfied. A dollar worth spending for. Suggestion: • Add the symbols of each element as part of the search list too, plus Lewis dot structures please, it'll be a really great help! Kudos to the Devs and keep up the good work.

  106. A Google user-avatar

It's a great app don't get me wrong, but I can't help get the feeling the developer only updates this thing to ensure the year in the name is up to date. I haven't seen user requested features like flashcards or any teaching mini game like sections to help people learn aspects of the periodic table. This app has a wealth of information and it could be amazing at teaching if the developer put some time into it. If they did, this would be hands down the best periodic table app in the world.

  107. Kyle Leeds-avatar

    Kyle Leeds

Great app but I would like a couple more things like ordering the elements in the list by the selected property, and showing sub/superscript properly, Avogadro's constant is showed as 1023 rather than 10²³. A few translations to english are mildly off, but it is easily understood. Other than that, it was brilliant and worth the money.

Great app, with a nicely done interface, but the central science can always use and tabulate more data (it doesn't contain any table of ionization energy, etc.). It would be great if you included pronunciation of the element names too. As far as the elements go, this is an exquisite app, but I'm sure it can always be updated and upgraded. thanks!

I rarely give an app five stars. This app is AWESOME! It's well designed: elegant and sleek, (don't change that please!) It's easy to use and intuitive. It's extremely informative and it's catalogue-based format is super accessible. I can't speak for the trained chemist, but for the lay user it is both fun and educational. And I appreciate, as a physics enthusiast, education on the *details* of the periodic table, subatomic physics, and chemistry, and not just simple overviews and summaries.

Even as someone who has less of a science oriented mind, this app was easy to understand. The information is abundant and is laid out beautifully. I originally had the free version, but decided to buy the "Pro" version because I wanted to support the developer. This app is a livesaver for Chemistry Homework!

I love this app. The interface is gorgeous, and the sheer amount of information available blows my mind. It eats up a good chunk of my phone's available memory, but it's totally worth it. I tried a few different periodic table apps, and this one is the best I've found. It looks good, all the info is easy to find, and with the Pro search feature it's even easier to get to what I need. I can tell the creators want to make something fantastic. Thanks for all the hard work! It's appreciated :D

Had the free version before, and it was the best pt app available. But now I got this, it is god-level amazing! I really want to thank the team behind this for their hard work, making a smooth interface, multiple languages support, real-time information updates, all the gritty details to nerd and geek around, it's a really fabulous app and I appreciate it and the people who helped with this so much.

Absolutely wonderful app. Very useful for people studying chemistry. Only issue is that while searching in the dictionary for long, the app crashes. Please add info about terms like alpha decay, gamma decay, antimatter etc. Please explain the concepts in the dictionary with more details. Overall the app is great. Please launch similar app on cosmology and astronomy.

I think this is one of the best companion apps to anyone doing anything with chemistry. As a student, I use this quite a bit. The pro edition is cheap and has no ads. The interface is clean and easy to operate. You can find all the information you need for any Element, plus extra features included with the paid version.

A must have app for all the students as well as teachers, it's great to know about the elements and gain knowledge about those which make you and the universe. Great app, with all the Éléments and their properties. It would be great, if we have little interesting points about the elements along with properties.

A great app, for learning all there is to know about the elements, very detailed. I recommend it, if you want to know an element's hazards such as radioactive or flammable or weather or not in conducts electricity or at what temperature it melts or what it's structure is then you've found the right app. Good for study, learning, or to use on a regular basis and is better than the free version worth the pay to me..

Absolutely worth the money for the price. The interface design is so clean, the best one out there. Pleasantly surprised that the content this app provide is actually unparalleled, so many diagrams and pictures. Sometimes it's either a good content with boring cluttered design, or a great modern look but bare minimal educational content that's geared mostly for non professional/science crowd. This app does both so well, also tons of language options. 5/5 one of my best purchase so far 👍👍

Great learning tool! Mendeleev and all the other fathers of chemistry would be proud of this work. The best one-stop app for any chemistry referencing. Developer is quick to get back to any issues which is always a pleasure. If you're sick of looking for the periodic table or any element you need to reference in textbooks and google images, this is your app.

I'm in a nuclear engineering class and the content that is easily available on this app (including isotope data) is really nice to have for a $1 investment. If I could improve something, I'd want to see more radioactivity data such as the energies of emitted gamma rays or the breakdown of macroscopic cross sections (absorbsion, fissile reaction, etc.).

The only thing I would like to see is some basic information with applicable elements on where it can be found and/or how to refine it. For example: iron is found in several ores like magnetite that have a reddish hue. Refining can be done either by separating it in at certain temperatures or by using a particular acid to break down and seperate the iron. Is this a potential option?

Great app. Purchased pro as it was extremely useful for a university chemistry student has accurate information and an easy to use layout. With information ordered in order of how often it would be used. In principle the more useful info is at the top of each element description.

Honestly this is, has been, and probably will continue to be the absolute best app for the periodic table. The information is has is complex but delivered in a simplified way that has helped me understand heaps of information all throughout my high school career. Thank you for making such an amazing app!

The electronegativity is to hard to get to, it would be much better if it was located on the periodic table instead of having to go to it. Same for atomic mass. I would not have purchased it if I would have known this. It would have been much better with these two things listed on the table. Would give it a full 5 stars otherwise.

This is one of the best phone purchases I have ever made. Almost everything you need to know about is in this app. dome things which I would like to see would be: what that specific element is reactive to, a Lewis dot structure for the elements and something on hydrocarbons and alkines, alkynes, and alkenes, etc. Thank you for this God send of an app.

Great contextual information & rare pictures of the elements or related materials. Could be better ( maybe, asking impractical things☺) if: 1) Atomic structure seen animated with orbits , even when enlarged to count ! 2) Resultant compounds with balanced chemical equation, if we just mix any two or more elements, may be with some practical chemical suggestions.

This app is amazing, I did purchase it and I don't regret it one bit. There's a lot amount information for studying on chemistry and physics. Furthermore, when I did look for a periodic table, and I saw this promotion I couldn't resist. Thank you, I hope that keep going to make updates and more improvements to the app.

Great app as a quick reference to all elements; but wouldn't it be nice if molar heat capacities, enthalpies and entropies would also be available along with calculations of two and three component alloy phase diagrams? How about a quick out-of-the-pocket reference e.g. to the calculated systems Cu-Zr or Cu-Zr-Si? Thanks! The one source of respective thermodynamic information that comes to my mind is OpenCalphad as an open-source project having set out to support the scientific community.

The app has been developed very nicely keeping in mind about the different types of people. Several informations are present in handy and in a simplistic approach. It would be very good if you could also add the hybridization, oxidation state, dipole moment and molecular structure and geometry, and several other physical properties of molecules etc. Also please add different allotropes of elements and their properties. Overall, a very well balanced app and easy to use.

I think it's a really neat app to have for anyone who is interested in learning more about the elements that make us and our universe. I would find it extremely useful to a student taking chemistry and it's also an app that is just fun to learn with. One thing that I would find really useful in the app is what different reactions would happen if you mixed certain elements.

This periodic table app is inexpensive, mostly accurate, and relatively easy to use. I recommend it if you're interested in the periodic table or need to know it. In response to August Software: •All elements above 118 should not have a discovery date as they all have yet to be synthesized. •The ability to see the state of matter for the element(s) as temperature and/or pressure changes would be useful and practical. Most tables list the state of mattee at 20°C (68°F). •Table for color coding

Loved the free version (reviewed it too), so I snagged premium version when it went on sale. Can't say I'm disappointed. I'm really sorry I can't support you now, but I'll try donating something in the near future, because this app is one of the most important things that helped me pass my old science quizzes when I was in middle-school.

It is a periodic table with all the data I think can reasonably be expected of a periodic table. The reason the app doesn't get 5 stars is that it doesn't display the data optimally. There is no way to show stats like electronegativity directly as a stat in the big table picture. If I want to compare say electronegativities of 2 elements I have to tap each of them and go through the list until I found electronegativity (which is pretty far down).

  135. Javier Romero-avatar

    Javier Romero

I love that the molar mass is set to 4 decimal points in case you need more sig figs, and the amount of information on each element is significant; not that most people will actually use most if it, but its great for those of us that need to reference other aspects of the elements such as Emission Spectrum.

I must have rated the free version before. Anyways, it's an app that gives more information than probably needed for majority of people including college Chemistry students in a very stylish fashion. However, I have seen one or two websites that have even more exhaustive compilations of information about elements. Other distinguishing strengths of this app include its offline accessibility and the numerous languages that the whole app is in besides English. I just wish for audio.

I'm actually really surprised by the amount of information included for each element. Of course you can get everything from different sources on the internet, it's really really nice to have everything in one place. The UI is pleasant to use and looks great. It also has tons of tools for calculations. This is the ultimate app for academia or industry.

Its been great so far, look beautiful and works perfectly. The only suggestion id make to furthermore improve the experience would be an option to organize the way elements are displayed when using the "list" funcionality. So you can arrange them from ascending or descending order when searching for the electronegativity for example. Besides that the app is great 10/10 would recommend the premium version

it Good but not Great My replay Maybe add different type of perodic tables like the ring of periodic Element and Curled Ribbon periodic table (made by J.F. Hyde) maybe add the most common compounds for Each Elements. like for Example For Carbon you could say Methane and Carbon Dioxdie. Also you could do a Table showing how common the Elements are on planet Earth.

Some of the values such as atomic and covalent radius are wrong. It looks like a lot of the data are retrieved from Wikipedia, which I don't find to be a reliable source. I switched my review from 1 to 3 stars because the company has good customer service and promptly issued a refund.

As soon as I opened the app the interface appealed to me like Taylor Swift. It has all the good information displayed in a gorgeous way and I like how they have given a shortcut for Wikipedia for every element on their respective pages. Nice app. Well done Developer Team.

I suggest you to improve English (United Kingdom). There are still some American spellings like “Sulfur”, “Centered”, “Ionization” etc instead of “Sulphur”, “Centred”, “Ionisation” etc in British English. I want 100% correct British English. I also suggest you to improve grammatical errors. Thank you!

An essential app for both school students and teachers. Quite brief and full of facts. Design is also awesome like an iOS app. This app tells that android apps are not much behind the iOS apps. Please remove the year tag from the app name on play store because it creates confusion of being another cheap app named similarly with year tag.

The app itself is useful having a clean UI design and also I just want to suggest, I would like to see the feature where you can see versions of the Periodic Table and even choose from the past versions such as without the new elements because here in our place we use the old version where the new elements are not yet added and electronic configuration also differ. I'm looking forward to this improvement
