I like the idea of this app, but the execution is poor. The e-card access is nice, and so are the knots and hand signals. But the #1 feature i want to work is the logbook and it simply doesn't. Without fail, i get onge of two errors. Either it tells me i failed to fill in required information when i havent, or i get a "connection error" and the dive wont save to the log. After more than 15 attempts to save a single dive over the course of a week, I'm giving up on this app until it's fixed.

App states. "Sign up. It's easy, fast & free." No not at all. App doesn't recognize your email address when registering. Thats critical for people to use the app. I tried multiple addresses with the same result. If PADI is wondering why the app usage is low. I think a broken registration process is the answer. If/when this gets fixed, I will update my review.

The idea of the app is great; however, it does not work. I paid for the ecards so I may have it on the app. Doesnt update with ecard and I cannot log any dives properly. I input all the information correctly and fully but when I save the information, some information is randomly changed or just plain deleted. This is a large international organization, I would assume the app would be working. I'm going to have to ask for my money back if I cant have my ecard on the app.

In theory, this is a fantastic app. In reality, it is trash. The only function that actually works is the eCards function, which is a very nice function. All the rest of the features are buggy to the point of not being useable. The dive logs will not let you record much of the useful info. Also, you cannot log a dive at a location that is hit already a point on the map. So I'm only allowed to log dives that PADI has made available on the app? That's absurd. Furthermore, there is no way to report issues within the app. As if this wasn't bad enough, I looked through all the reviews on here and not one single response from PADI could be found on any of the reviews ... not one! PADI, we all pay a lot of money to train under your organization. If you do not start providing better services, I am going to switch to SSI, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

The only reason I installed this app was to access the eCard. However, every single time I try to access my eCard (via the "Update" button) in the app, the app crashes. This app is the only way to access a PADI eCard, but since the app can't access it, buying an eCard is a total waste of money. I've reported the issue via the crash reporting feature of Android, but given the many other comments over the years indicating how widespread the problem is, I'm not holding my breath that they'll fix it anytime soon.

If you have a symbol in your password, the app crashes when getting your e-cards. The website requires your password to have a symbol. The check is only on the front end, so you can around this with dev tools. Still, it's absolutely insane that the app shipped with this bug and even more insane that it's remained this way for months. Edit: Also, trying to use eRDPML just takes you to the shop locator for California

This app does not work at all. As a Chief Technology Officer that oversees app development I find it unfortunate that they would release this and not update and or fix the issues that exist. if you are lucky enough to have it do something, 'Lucky You!'. In concept, it's a good app, bit the development team did little testing and what they did was poorly executed. Sorry devs.... you missed this one big time.

Functionally broken. As far as I could tell only the erdpml works. I "logged" a few dives but as far as I can tell, logging the dives did nothing. I can't see anything I logged. The eCards wouldn't display anything for me either. Padi should either invest the time and money to make this a decent app, or delete it all together.

This is the most lazily developed apps I've seen. Instagram is embedded under the "Social" menu instead of a unique experience. No where to find my current certs except the "eCard" menu. I haven't purchased those so the screen contains only directions to a URL to purchase them but not even a link. I have to copy and paste. It's the same for the learning section. The travel section is an embedded website. I can find all of it without the app so why should I bother? The Locator is the best part.

This app needs a complete overhaul. Who on earth let this happen, who designed it? Looks like a high school student's project that somehow became an official app. It's completely counter intuitive, zero feedback on input and utterly confusion in delivering any information about what you can or can't do on any given page. You should be fired and go back to school and learn UI design.
