Easy to use and there's a lot to explore. I wish that the web version had more functionality like the app, and that everything would sync in between the two. It would be easier to do the thought/journal exercises on my computer rather than in the mobile app. It would be nice to have everything available in both web and mobile app.

  2. Nik Morrison-avatar

    Nik Morrison

Wonderfully calm and resourceful! I see a therapist regularly but have found Sanvello to help me in the in-between times. So far love the meditations and articles on the home page. Only thing is I wish I could change the order and content of the tiles on the home page. This might just be a feature I have yet to discover as most things seem to be easy to customize.

  3. Ur dumb-avatar

I think this app alright but it's a little confusing to use and a bit stressful like how your home is always cluttered like I'm really OCD so I mean thats probably just a me problem. I thought it would be an app that asked you daily questions not just "How was your day" but I guess it wasn't. And you can choose a theme but your home is so cluttered you cant even see it.

  4. Serenity Canales-avatar

    Serenity Canales

I would say this app really helps with stress and puts your mind at ease. They continuesly say that your bad feelings will not last for ever and for me that gives me some kind of validation. I also think this app really focuses on meditation and throughout the meditation you can really just try to let go and connect with yourself. This is my first day on this app but I went on it because I felt anxious and now I just feel relaxed.

  5. Cinnamon Sylveon-avatar

    Cinnamon Sylveon

I'm definitely a fan of this app! It doesn't block a ton of features so premium isn't super necessary, which is helpful to a teen like me, I love the community features and the personal hope board as well as the mood tracking, it's all very nice and definitely helpful

  6. Faith Kent-avatar

    Faith Kent

Incredibly helpful for anyone with varying degrees of mental instability. This app helps me calm down and also helps me reflect and see how my week or month has gone. I may have thought I had a terrible week and I look back at my app and see it wasn't all that bad, or I may see that one week was worse than the rest and it may be time to work on my mental health so that next week can be better. It has so many resources and I highly recommend.

  7. Rita Hodgson-avatar

Sanvello came to me at the right time. I was under tremendous stress and not knowing where to turn. My employer told me about Sanvello and decided to try it. I love that there are so many resources in one app. It's simple to use and it keeps me motivated to stay on top of my feelings and manage my environment.

  8. Misty Leonard-avatar

    Misty Leonard

This app seems to be great when you're stressed out. I would definitely recommend it to anybody that has a lot on their mind that's a lot of work hours that they put in and has a lot to take care of in their life because it really helps with clearing their mind and helping them keep their bodies common Collective.

  9. Sophia Miller-avatar

    Sophia Miller

It's been a few days since Ive started using this app, and I've actually already learned some useful techniques for my anxiety. Really enjoying the meditations & emotional check-ins, so I can get my feelings out of my head and remember why I'm grateful for my life as well. I had been searching for something like this app, but didn't expect to find what I was looking for so soon. Really surprised with the outcome so far in a positive way!

  10. Arunima Das-avatar

    Arunima Das

I love this app. I only have issues with the fact that there are too many features and not user friendly enough. Too many things to check in. I wish it was a little more minimal. Besides this, the days I have the motivation of doing my goals and challenges, this app helps me.

  11. Tonya Young-avatar

    Tonya Young

I found out about this app at a time when I really needed it, and it actually helped. For the few days that I used it I did feel better. Until I couldn't go any further because I had to pay to continue. Very disappointing that everything has to cost $. Especially at a time like this. That's why I didn't give it 5 stars.

  12. ben ary-avatar

    ben ary

It allows me to filter out the negatives. The negatives i cannot control. I get a sense of peace and understand what makes me smile and get rid of the negatives. I find the meditation and breathing to nature sounds very pleasant.

  13. Peter Purdie-avatar

    Peter Purdie

Small steps.... Easy to dip into, and slowly stop feeds your brain into working better. I always thought meditation was a bit woolly. I still do, except that it works. I feel foolish when I start but always feel better when I finish. It's like gentle magic.

  14. hi friends-avatar

    hi friends

I loved this app. Best one I had found. Helped so much with anxiety. Up until the paywall. I know devs need money, but as a teen I can't do anything about it. I'm trying out Intellect now, but I am trying to get this covered by my health insurance.

  15. edenne-avatar

really helps me understand what I'm feeling and notifications kinda feel like someone checking up on me. Makes me feel good, really recommend this. (also you won't need to pay for most things unless you want the extra stuff )

  16. Elaine Culver-avatar

    Elaine Culver

This is probably the best resource I have found in the U.S.- it's a great tool for anxiety and depression. I don't use the therapist feature (paid subscription), but the mindfulness excercizes and meditation is really helpful for me

  17. The Chimney-avatar

    The Chimney

great!!! feel better since using it! but why the 'community' section limits words used? it's kinda annoying as sometimes I can't convey my thoughts properly cause i always have a lot to say..

  18. Tierra C. Watkins-avatar

I just started using Sanvello and it is very useful and has an incredible interface. I will update this review later but for now, I highly recommend it if you need CBT from trained therapists.

  25. Chloë Hoffman-avatar

    Chloë Hoffman

I am so glad to have this app in my phone. It's so simple, there's no pressure, and it provides so many tools that are simple and accessible, even when my mental health is worse for wear. It's really helped me understand and organize my state of mind, and it's nice to have some level of self help that's completely separate from social media or the news. Especially with the ongoing pandemic, I'm so glad to have a tool like this. Sincerely, thank you.

  26. Pri Waheng-avatar

    Pri Waheng

I really love this app. It gives such an interesting and useful techniques to cope up with anxiety & depression which is really impactful😍. I'm loving this app. The reason why I gave only 4 stars is because of the PREMIUM version. People can't afford for a proper treatment that's they're using this app but we've to pay for some good techniques which is very disappointing 😞.

  27. Theresa S-avatar

    Theresa S

I really enjoy this app because it's different than all the other stress/anxiety relief apps out there. It's refreshing!

  28. Jamie Lang-avatar

    Jamie Lang

Finally a mental health app that actually helps! It has great features that fit every learning style, from mindful quotes & readings to guided meditations & calming music. You can track your mood, but the app also walks you through unpacking those moods. You can set goals for yourself and read/post to the Sanvello community for support. Finding a therapist is easy and you see their bio to ensure it's a good fit. Have my first session in a few days and the copay is around $100/sess w no insurance

  29. Arielle Sweetwood-avatar

    Arielle Sweetwood

Quarantine and Covid have been hard. This app has been such a help in allowing me to reframe my state of mind, which is something I think we have all needed as of late. I would recommend this to anyone dealing with depression, anxiety, or even someone who is doing well. This has certainly helped uplift me from my endless feeling of blah.

  30. Sarah Betancourt-avatar

    Sarah Betancourt

I love thw app and all its features. Im very disappointed that there is only one therapist available through my insurance and she is never available for scheduling. Its very disheartening that there isn't someone available... but hey pay more money and get the 1:1 new coach feature.... no I think you should make more therapists available please!!!

Best app for meditation/stress management/finding hope. It has a paid version, but the free version has so much too.

  36. Spider-avatar

It's a great app for mood tracking and meditation. It does have some down sides of having to get more membership to access all of the meditations and all of that. It also dosen't have a place to write triggers but other than that it's a good app

  37. Massoud Rostami-avatar

    Massoud Rostami

A must have app for everyone. Not only it's well made and designed, plus it's extremely user friendly. You don't have to have an anxiety or depression problem to have this app, the app has valuable, scientific, up to date information, so you can prevent from having any of those problems. 5 star definitely.

  40. Karen Jacobs-avatar

So far so good, the only problems I've experienced so far were some connectivity issues during my therapy appointment. The guides in app seem good, and they logically build on one another.

  41. C Dardis-avatar

    C Dardis

All the meditations basically tell you is to breathe in light and power, and breathe out weight and stress. If it was as easy as breathing, I wouldn't need an app!

  73. Laura Neish-avatar

Disappointing: When I first started the app, I really appreciated it. It looks appealing and is easy to use. HOWEVER, in one week basic features get locked and you have to upgrade to premium to be able to use it. Not very supportive for people struggling with their mental health. There never was any indication that the main features I was initially using were a trial or that they would be locked after a few uses (some were locked from the start-I knew those were Premium)

  74. CJ Guitarist-avatar

This app is great. I have only explored free features so far but like what I have used to so much that I will probably unlock premium content once I am working more again. I really appreciate apps that provide more than the bare minimum of free content, especially while we're in the pandemic. Poor people need mental health support, too!

Why can't I delete this app from my phone, it keeps saying error?? And yes I have contacted you and only got one response back

  81. Nique-avatar

My only criticism is that the check-in feature does not work for me. I answer all the questions (over and over) but my results don't seem to save. With that said, I think this app still deserves the 5 stars. I appreciate the offers during the Covid crisis especially, as cost is often a deterrent for me when seeking help (a sad truth). Would recommend.

I've been using sanvello for over a year. The mood tracking and self help resources are much more comprehensive than some other apps I've tried. There are so many tools, exercises, and features this has that it has over other apps, and the company has shown their commitment to public mental health by offering the paid version of their app for free during this hard time. It's great to come back to even if you're not having a hard moment in your life, for maintenance, meditation, or otherwise.

  85. Stefanie Pollock-avatar

    Stefanie Pollock

First, the fact that premium is free during the pandemic is amazing. Thank you! That's what drove me to this app, over other meditation apps. Now, as I've been using it more, wow! So many features! Meditation is such a small part of this. Trackers, journaling, guided meditation, mental health assessment, emergency links if you're not feeling ok, the list goes on!

  86. Anthony Alexis-avatar

    Anthony Alexis

This app is phenomenal and should be required for students, parents, families, etc! It's such an amazing and complete tool with lots of thought and care put into it. I use it with the Woebot app and Noom for my physical health and it's the perfect emotional wellness technology "stack" for overall well-being. As a Christian, I also add the Bible and it's truly the complete package for what my soul needs to thrive. The only thing better than this is having a life coach, pastor and therapist!

  87. Jennifer Vanderslice-avatar

    Jennifer Vanderslice

The meditation for sleep has helped me a bunch to get to sleep, now staying asleep is a whole other matter. Tracking how I'm doing daily has been helpful too but it has a tendency to pop up when I'm doing things and at random times of the day. I think it tracks when I'm moving and assumes I'm awake and willing to answer.

  88. Stacy Young-avatar

    Stacy Young

This app has been a wonderful companion to me during the quarantine. it's easy to get lost in the days, and it's easy to get lost in technology. I appreciate that this app gives me a reason to pause and be reflective. Reading the messages in completing the short activities has helped to lift my mood, and unlike other apps thatare designed to do something similar, I actually look forward to the salon and don't see it as a chore or something that's interrupting another part of my today. Thank you!

  89. Amy Azubuike-avatar

    Amy Azubuike

The app is amazing!! I've really started turning g my life around on it (in a addition to my regular bare bones mood logging apps, and a to do list app). Its so customizable, has so many features that relate perfectly to planning/charting/reflecting on your day in so many different ways, and each option they do is well thought out. I've only been using it for a few days, and I still haven't tapped into maximizing everything it has to offer, and I love it!

I keep trying apps and not finding any help until I found this one. It reminds me of the CBT structure that practitioners use to log progress and I think that's why it works so well. Please keep this app free somehow as I can see how it can clearly save lives. And the majority of people who need it simply won't have an income at that point. You developers are lifesavers I guarantee it! 5*****

I would recommend to anyone struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, or anything of the sort, no matter the severity. It's an amazingly helpful tool with heaps of tips and organization that makes managing with anxiety or depression so much easier. As someone with mild anxiety, the clean organization or the app makes it so easy to set and achieve goals, manage thoughts, journal, relax, and a great deal more.

Only started using this recently but it does very well. It's not pushy which I like. Everything is on your own timeline and your own pace. Maybe it's a bummer to see high anxiety scores but it does feel better to put it in some type of range that makes it easier to understand. I like being able to choose what activities I want to do and being able to like or dislike quotes that may spur certain feelings. Lots of customization ability in the app so it really is for any and everyone.

I think this app is an amazing tracker and really helps me understand my emotions better. Was very impressed that the premium features are free during covid period. It's very comprehensive and encompasses overall well-being. Only drawback is that speaking to professionals isn't sth offered in my region. Will definitely subscribe after the free period ends.

Wow! Therapy, DBT, Journaling, Meditation in 1 App! I've done my first session in the app. It's easy to understand why we're doing something, and easy to do each step. There's a recording of a real psychologist explaining things with a clear metaphor. It's calming and encouraging, like the most empathetic and understanding person I've ever met. The "journal" part was quick but thorough in the choices given. The meditation was short and calming.

Regardless on how long we would get the premium features due to COVID-19, the app is well built and has plenty of features to offer. While I tend to avoid boards for personal reasons, it's nice to see that there's a spot for folks that want to utilize it. Only complaint is that the hope board will not take a photo I would upload to it as it will crash the app. Otherwise, wouldn't have an issue with recommending this to friends. The assessments are also an interesting part of this as well.

I use this app sort of irregularly. I know it would help more if I used it daily, but let me tell you that when I do use it, it's extremely helpful. I always end up putting more time and effort into it then I think, but it definitely pays off! I love all the different aspects of the app, and how easy it is to use. The colours, sounds, & voices we hear are very soothing as well. Downloading this all has probably been one of my best decisions ever!

Best app EVER! If dedicated to working app it will move mountains and open eyes! Love this so much it's positive, + accountabily acknowledgement, true & effective! I can't wait to get down the road further and look back at my progress that I felt already from 1 use! Highly recommended & my health insurance helps cover a more upgraded priveledge level to use! Give it a 11 on a 1-10 scale! Never a step backwards! On the way to a be more better me than I was yesterday... 100% guarenteed!

I love this app, however after a certain point in the guided therapies the recordings turn into dialogues between two people, and reference a program called "Pacifica." I have no problem with recordings being recycled for a new app, however I hate these dialogues. The "person being helped" is not universally relatable, and is not an appropriate stand in for anyone using this app, and as the "person helping" directs this specific individual it is incredibly disengaging and frustrating.

I use this app alongside my CPT sessions for PTSD. This is the first app I've liked enough to purchase and that I actually use daily. Most of the content is familiar to me from what I'm working on in therapy. I find it helpful to use during the week in-between sessions. I particularly like the hope board and cbt tools. I can see that if you aren't familiar with cbt, cpt, etc that it could be a little confusing but the guided journeys do cover the tools over time. All in all a great app.

Was surprised and happy to see popular YT therapist Katie Morton. I feel like this app is the updated version of a previous mood tracker and it looks like they have successfully put all the suggested improvements in place. For ex I used to hate when app would ask how I feel, then give like 5 emotions to choose from, no fill in the blank. They def fixed that. Have to explore more to be able to say more, just started. Looking good tho!

I love this app. Includes everything- a community to talk to, meditation videos, tools to reframe thoughts, a hope board, habit and mood tracker. This is my dream app for my mental health and it has been helping me greatly. Although most of the features are available because of COVID-19 and I appreciate that too, so I can't say anything about the free version of the app.

Great for hearing impaired. All meditations have a text version as well as audio. Haven't been able to find this anywhere else. SUCH a wonderful addition to make meditation more accessible. Thank You. I found the Emergency Emotional Toolkit idea to be incredibly useful and helpful. Helped me finally identify how I get myself into a bad place and tools for how to recover.

It has a lot of great ideas and small goals and anyone can do I did feel better even after the first day of using the app. The only problem with the notification is they start to sound the same as all the other apps and you start to avoid them. At least you can choose a time when they come up so that they don't bother you when they shouldn't.

this is probably the best app I've used. it helps me take control of difficult situations, refocus my energy, get back in healthy headspaces, and it's one of the few I've consistently used and wanted to. if you've ever needed something to help get you to a good place, I've yet to find something better. it equips you to handle whatever may arise.

This is a brilliant and high quality app, and more comprehensive than any other wellbeing app I've come across. It offers an impressive range of exercises, learning and means of support which all feel well researched and professionally designed. You can go as in-depth as you want. And no hassling ads! I love the meditations which cover a variety of issues like work/study stress, 'morning dread' and defusing anger, as well as building resilience and self confidence. Absolutely recommend 👍

My experience with this app has been good. Starting out by just writing down how you are currently feeling, you are given the tools to be able to express it clearly as well as determine the cause of your current mood or feelings. After establishing potential causes you are given different types of methods to get you to a positive state, if currently negative, or continue in the positive feelings. The individuals giving the instructions seem to genuinely want to help people.

I really appreciate this app. I always wanted to find a workbook or something to put action to learning how to take care of my mental well-being and this has been a winner. I really enjoy writing so the journal entries and gratitude portions gets my feelings out. It's also really nice to have an app that asks you the first moment you open it, How I'm doing. You can add feelings to that to make it more in depth and personal too. Tracks your moods so you can see patterns. Thanks Sanvello!

After one week of using it, I see this app can be really beneficial for people with mental issues. Thanks to Sanvello Team for providing free premium access during these times! However, app is littered with bugs and inconsistencies so much so that it is simply too much to list them here. I'm not ready to pay for such experience.

Has a lot of useful tools for your mental health and can even be used with your therapist to better your therapy. The notifications don't overwhelm you and can be changed to come when you want them to. One thing I do wish they'd add is a section for soothing sounds or music. All in all an app everyone can use.

I love this App so much but now the premium access is not free anymore and since i live in Germany i cannot get it covered through my therapy. I hoped i could get through with the journey tools while the App was free and now it kind of feels like i am stuck half way through and cannot finish what i have started. I understand that a lot of work goes into making an App like this and i hope there can be a way in the future to make this accessible for people like me who are studying.

Wanted to like the app, but it keeps freezing and erasing my entry logs in the journal/traps section. When I enter the app for the first time each week, it keeps taking me to the how was your week survey questions. I can't get out of the survey loop the entire day, so I wait for the next day to access the app. Thought the app would help me reduce anxiety, but having to redo my entries because the app keeps freezing and erasing only adds to the frustration.

Want to be a better human being in general. Download this app. It's the only thing that works for me because it has it all: mood tracker, journaling, problem solving, healthy habits tracker, a community to reach out to, and guided meditations and other cool things. It's therapy/life-coaching tailored to your needs. It's less expensive and more effective than traditional methods in my opinion.

  116. Olaf-avatar

Amazing app! The way it works feels like magic. Extremely helpful. My only concern is that once the lockdown is over, I will have to pay for the premium feature which I can't afford being a high school student. Wish it was free for high school students suffering from anxiety and depression... But still it deserves 5 stars.

It's definitely a helpful tool and I would recommend it to anyone!

During a crisis I decided to give this a go. So glad I did! The daily check made me aware of positive feelings which where overshadowed by negative. The app has a giant toolbox. Time is included so I can schedule when I will not be interrupted or pick short times which fit well at the beginning when all was hectic. With so many selections like meditations and tracking habits the app will be also be beneficial during calm times.

The Bach "recording" isn't good. Anyone who plays an instrument will realize that it's reproduced on a computer or keyboard. This made me have to switch to multiple different soundscapes. Get a real cellist's recording. I eventually just went to YouTube to listen to Cello suite #1. Otherwise I'm happy so far.

This is a great emotional & mental health app. It is a great app to manage anxiety & depression. It can save people from some of the materialistics & selfish doctors & psychiatrists/psychologists who deliberately charge high fees to patients & in return give them mediocre treatment in just a few minutes. This malpractice is prevalent in rural areas of Punjab, Pakistan. This app is simply the best as it touches almost every aspect of mental health which is vital for the well being of humans.

This has been such a valuable resource. It contains so many ways to lighten the weight of difficult mental health experiences, including goal-setting, breathing exercises, mood and habit tracking, community support, and straight up lessons. It also contains a specific and helpful meditation library (which might be well supplemented with another like Calm/Headspace, depending on your practice).

I was excited about this. Not only did I think I would be covered by insurance, which I am not due to being on disability (you'd think I would need help but whatever), but I read that this would be free during "this difficult time." Well. The button for that is greyed out. I might have actually paid for this if I thought it would impact me in the way I heard it would. Now I'll never know. Thanks for getting my hopes up about the free premium BS.

Just started using Sanvello, but I already feel more mindful and relaxed. It has helped me set goals for achieving better emotional health, and I'm excited to see if the tools I'm learning are effective in my daily life. The only reason its 4 stars instead of 5 is because I don't find the apps primary layout very intuitive, though that's just my opinion.

This app is the closest thing to therapy I've ever experienced. Some of the activities may feel silly if you have never been in therapy before, but just try them honestly before you write them off. The benefits are always a sense of calmness. I also love that you control which activities you want to do. Nothing is required. You are in complete control of your own wellness.

This app was recommended by the Counseling department at my university. It has helped me identify issues i need to work on to feel like myself again. I'm still going through the registration process with your app. Have a professional design the sign up process. I'm still scrolling through the calendar dates to enter my birthday because your app doesn't allow the user to key it in. Seriously?! Your app is creating frustration at this point. App should trim off spaces at end of entered data in fields also instead of generating error/typo message.
