Reviews From google play store

The app is fairly accurate in its calculation of my step count. Also, it has a organised layout that clearly displays all my data (step count, trends, etc). Furthermore, it also has a social feature, allowing us to join clubs and participate in global challenges, which helps to motivate me. Overall, this app not only serves its main purpose as a pedometer, but it also helps to motivate users to strive to achieve their goals. Kudos to the developers of this app! Keep it up! 👍👍👍

Got it for walking. Instead it's shutting off to present ads. Hello wake up. I am walking and can't see the ads. No data either on my walls. Perhaps if you presented them only when not in an activity three stars. I mean even then over and over basically nothing works. Just must buy to have it work.

Easy to use, minimal and unobtrusive ads, soft and simple design, works accurately and consistently. After using it for several months there were only 2 times it seemed to stop counting my steps (calibration fluke, I assume) but after uninstalling and re-downloading the app it worked again.

Much better than I had ever expected. Nice job! Only annoyance is your "coach" trying to message you, so you've got to ignore that once every few days. They could have had *much* more fun with data presentation, but I'm being unfairly picky. Great product and developers should be proud.

I love this app because it made me very aware of how active, or inactive, I was during any day. However, it tends to drain my battery more quickly than if i weren't using the app. I have recently purchased a body metrics device amd will be funneling body metrics through thr wrist watch, and syncing at specific (designated) times.

Motivational app it makes me more to walk and helping me to work more. Good app. I would like to suggest to your technical team to work out on a "bracelet" "ring" or both by leaving mobile at home or in a car while going out for walk or exercise. People don't want to carry mobiles while on walk or exercise. Worried about mobile snatching in third world countries. Please acknowledge my suggestion.

This is my most useful app from 2 years now. But, please add the 'Activity Location Mode' so it can detect that where we are going most of the time (in the selected location) and where our steps count most by the colour mark on the specific location. Like: Walk Most:- green color Walk Medium:- violet color Walk Rare:- yellow color Walk Never:- red color

I didn't understand the ranking of pacer. It was based on likes before but now i didn't understand. In step challenge after getting the point the ranking should not be based on likes. It should be based on best average for the on going month or on going week. It will motivate the walkers and runners. Please do something about that because I am so much disappointed with that. Pacer is a good app but do something for ranking because some peoples only giving likes to their self only for top ranking

Not entirely consistent. I can run the same course and it would measure different distance, and not by small margins. There are days when I never leave the house and I somehow took 80,000 steps that day. When it doesn't do that though, the experience was decent.

I've used this app for a day and a half don't ask me if I'm enjoying the app yet. Honestly, I don't know if I like it yet or not. I had a hard time connecting it to myfitnesspal app, which is why I downloaded this app because I was told it was easy to set up. It finally connected after 20mins of "loading", which is better than the MapMyWalk app responded. I'm not sure how accurate the steps are based on my height. I can count my steps and the app is either ahead or behind a few steps. It varies.

Last update has ruined the overall experience of this app. If one is checking yesterday's steps its showing sum of yesterday and Current day. For this month steps, app is considering last 30 days as month. Previous version was superb. I think the issue is with Android only as Iphone users are still getting correct info. Please rectify this ASAP.

I cannot get this app to sync with My Fitness Pal. It tells me to install it (its already installed) then it tells me to open it so I push open then I go back to MFP and it is not connected. I go thru the above all over again.... still not connected. Don't waste your time with this app

Great app just concerned that at times it stops counting my steps. It messes with the data and I can no longer measure my progress. This really needs fixing.......I've tried your what if the device stops counting my steps but nothing changes.

It was a great app until the end of Sept 2019. Then it quit counting steps and when I went to try to refresh it by agreeing to update my profile w stupid info, it still didn't work. No matter how much I walk it only records 1-15 steps. What a bummer!

Been using it over a week and I like the interaction with my coach. Keeps me active on times I normally would not. Like when I'm studying I would normally take a break and do nothing now I'll go for a 30 min walk. Recommend that you give it a try. Very easy to use.

It sometimes stops working and forgets to track steps or distance. I have been using it regularly. Can't un install it. Please make corrections. It has runied my day today kuz i ran for 30 minutes and it didn't track my steps.

I could never really make up my mind which step tracker app to install as there's so many to choose from, so I choose this app out of random and it's great for tracking steps as great as the others might be.

I really do like my pacer app it keeps me up with my steps and miles are put in and it helped me to keep up with my workout I really enjoy it I would recommend it to anybody who's looking to lose weight and keep up with your progress.😊

Tired of replacing fitness bands. Just wanted a simple pedometer. Hard to find suitable hardware though. Bought Pacer 1 year subscription. Love the coaching tips. More likely to make real improvement s using this app than using a fitness band.

Not bad for personal tracking but it doesn't update my monthly distance challenge progress properly. Only counted 16km towards my total out of 40km so far this month which can be quite disheartening. Support also doesn't reply to my emails.

Great app. Only problem is when either it or MyFitnessPal updates. Then you have to disconnect and reconnect the apps to each other. Other bad thing is it shows me how lazy I am some days. 🤪

You really need to have a tutorial. Even if it's for somebody who hasn't used Pacer op in a while, you need to have a tutorial in the setting somewhere that we can reactivate to show us how to use it. I have been trying for the last 24 hours to figure out how to post something and I ended up having to make comments on other people's posts and wait for somebody to reply to my comment explaining to me how to do it. it just seems really complicated. You definitely need a tutorial.

Does what it needs to. Measuring the distance for my walks / runs. Even chimes in every half mile or so, informing you of your progress with time and distance.

Been having problems lately, keeps telling me irregular data activity detected. Havent been able to update my steps from the 14th, sent 2 emails to support and still no feed back. Frustrating. Because of that i am issuing a 3star!

Yes, I use my Pedometer everyday. Recently had knee replacement and have to walk for my rehab. My ped lets me know everything. Steps, miles, calories and time. Love it!!

Steps added even after end of month. Even though Sept 2019 month completed steps of Oct Month-2019 months are added in Previous month and going on, due to this unable to track the progress of current month. Plz help.

Continuously stops counting steps and does not sync manually even though it's set to. Battery settings are set correctly for this app to run properly. -- odd time when it does run as it is supposed to or minus manual syncing it is a good app so won't give minimal stars.

It does not count every step I take unless it's attached to me. Other than that little issue, I'm glad I found this app to help reach a goal. Especially on Thursdays.

When I opened pacer app then all time facing network problem in this app. I walked daily 7 km above but when I open pacer app to check my steps and miles . Pacer app count my steps 90% correctly but miles Show only 4 km or 4.5 km instead of 7 km plus

The app used to work great but I have noticed more recently that it is missing steps. If you're still too long it takes a while to start tracking again.

Hello really very sad only starting two days worked properly but after that not working really so sad GPS location everything is perfect but app is not working properly.. it's not taking steps count when I started walk I did each and every settings but it's not working.. so sad

It was a very nice app, used it since long time but all of a sudden it stopped counting the steps.... Reinstalled it many times, applied all the instructed options many times but its not working out😞

1st of all the app is very good and you can do a lot of good work with it. There are some annoying defects however. You need to start the app at least once a day in order to sync with phone's GPS system. Otherwise no steps for you that day ;( also there is no option to disable the notifications for 'likes' inside the app, despite there is such option in settings they are only working for the phone notifications, which seems unnecessary, because the phone has its own way to do that.

It's good if u want an ideal of how many steps u take per day but just as another review stated, when moving around the house, when ur constantly stopping and starting walking, it doesn't pick up on ur steps right away. At first it was just a few steps it didn't count from time to time, I was fine with that but a moment when I was intentionally walking and looking for the number to change, it didn't change at all. It didn't count over 30 steps I had taken. On this note, I have to try another app

This app is very good for those of us who walk around the drive way and did exercise and got some weight off and helps with calorie counting. It is very well designed

Great App. Keeps us motivated daily. Once you start using this app there is no going back. Best app for tracking your walk/run.

The app will shut off and I can't track my steps. It was down for 3 days now. It happens every now & then. If it happens again I will just delete the app.

I use this app every day to give me some idea of how active I am and calories that I burn. Having this app on all the time reminds me to move, to go for a walk.

Shows steps and calories burn. ANYTHING else and they want you to subscribe. Get a week trial free then charge $20 for year subscription so early in the morning. There is no way to cancel subscription.

Great app to keep track of time and distance during our three weekly walks. The GPS choice keeps great records of our walks with actual routs and all data from each walk.

It is not counting my steps properly nd I am unable to login to my account I just can't understand what has happened to this app. It used to be the best app

I like being able to track my steps and weight. However a recent update removed the ability to add daily weight changes. I found out it had been moved to the bottom of the screen.

This app tell me how long i walk exactly. It gives me proper result. I like this app, it is very useful for person who want to becomes slim and fit.

I used this app on my iPhone for two years. Works like it should. Want to upload data from icloud ,to my new android phone do not see how.

Loving this app, been using it for a week now and I appreciate how it displays the info, it is motivating me to move and that's fab!

Clear route tracking and available for both running and walking, detailed stats and useful reminders. Doesn't take much storage either.

Too bad after upgrade. It doesnt show the rank in the group ( which was before) . And the look and feel was far better begore

Its a good enough app to keep you motivated. Have not used many similar, just one other which was simple and basic in comparision, nothing motivates me more than watching my stats getting better and better and having the app show me that I am more active than 95% of users, all the while keeping track that i have lost 2kg in a month by walking and lost 18kg in total😁

So motivating to hit your 10000 steps/ day! Nice layout as well! I just think it gives a slightly bigger No. of steps .. not sure!

Works great tracks every step I like the fact that you can pause it, if and when you hop on a vehicle

An essential app. I measure how much I walk and stay motivated to reach my daily goals. Feel good about myself everyday using the app!

Overall a great app to track various activities like run, hike, walk and bike.... Can improve accuracy of GPS based events.

It worked wonderfully for a while, but then it became separate from MyFitnessPal. ☹️ I thought about uninstalling and then reinstalling them bothbut I don't know if that will erase my history on either one or both. Can y'all help me with that? 😕🙂

does not recognize steps from galaxy watch active 2,just count steps from phone only, while phone collaborates steps from watch as well----------- thanks for noticing but i bought paid version of this app and its useless to me , i can't even get my refund even within 15 days , plus my watch send all data to Samsung health( which collates data and do not differentiate if its from watch or phone) and this app already takes data from Samsung health app, then why can't it just take collaborated data from Samsung health app----- now i am interested in my refund, i go play store and see no options for refund, this app doesn't show any options for refund, ----all i am left with is just leaving review

This is a awesome app, the free version is good for tracking your steps I love the GPS feature.

i have tried more than 15 walking/step counter apps. pacer is better than others. steps challenge whithin group and as whole is good. i like this app .

Amazing app. Been using it for they past two years. Has help me maintain my goals and have lost over 120 lbs. Highly recommended

Extremely inaccurate compared to another calibrated app. Off by 75%. Has nice GPS and other features tho. Does not work with my phone

Works well, just make sure the app is on when you start your day. You only get the training plans with the paid version.

Wonderful app . Compared to life log app features are very less in free version and also other features like sleep detection mobile usage of internet phone calls messages what's up face book browsing etc

Excellent app. Keeps an exact count of steps. Calories. Has health suggestions. I highly recommend.

The app keeps counting steps even if I just move my mobile where as I'm sitting still at one point, this gives inaccurate calorie loss count.

very good!! And accurate info!!!! Definitely I recomend it!!! Very good experience!!! Accurate record!!!

Free version is good for keeping a record of daily steps and adding GPS activity. Plenty good enough for counting miles run or walked for monthly mile challenges.

Neat little app. Best of the pedometer type I've tried and I've tried quite a few. I like being able to track workouts in GPS and compare times along the same route. Marketed as a step counter app but it's also useful for cycling. Can't fault it.

I've enjoyed using it for a pedometer and it's nice to look back at the trends for the week and the month.

Works great. I just cant figure out how to make my own routes. User error....

Just started using ap. Needed something to keep track of my walking. It seems to be working well.

It's good app . If payment is made for SUBSCRIPTIONS, it works still better with no advertising.

Its simple, easy to navigate, and has helped me through the gastric program with my constraints... just try it

I walk a lot at work. This has been a great app to show me just how many MILES I walk while working.

Overall I like the app. It give me a generally accurate count of steps. What needs fixing is the pause button. It is in a very inconvenient place where it is easy to hit with finger tips and then you lose a lot of accuracy. They used to have a nifty plus button where you could add steps. I like that because if I didn't wear my phone for a workout at the gym on the treadmill or if I missed steps because of this pause button then I could add in a rough estimate and keep it relatively accurate. I believe they removed the plus button because the community has a lot of crazies that fake their steps and then stalk people from what I have seen in posts. That's pretty disturbing but I don't use that part of the app at all. I am set to private. What they really need to do is allow a disable pause for people like me. Or at least move it away from the edges because when you grab your phone your fingers can tough the edge of the screen. The way I hold mine when I look at it, I always tough the edges.

The app was good for a long time... But in the last few days I feel like it's adding more steps than in reality. For example, yesterday it said that I walked 45 Kms, which I don't think is possible ! Even though I was on my feet for 5 hours or so. Today I hardly walked and it says I walked 16 Kms. I couldn't have done more than 5.

It works by the movement sensor built-in the phone, so even if inaccurate at certain degrees ( less than 15%) and not based on GPS signal ( going off and on) it is quite good app to get a Fair idea as how much one. Has walked ( it doesn't counts the stairs or height if climbed, so Just keep in mind as you burned more calories than Just the reading of this pedometer app ). ALSO DON'T SHAKE THE PHONE WHILE NOT WALKING, as the app will count it as steps walked.

Compared to another well known app, I had previously, which kept breaking down and not recording This one is a pleasure.

The tracker works great. I purchased the upgrade and enjoy the work outs.

I lost many yesterday steps because of different time zone. Just wish it will be fixed.

I'm drawn towards PR do meter as i feel blessed to still hold the option of (Walking) out if many situations I've found myself in so many times...

Keeps really good track of all your steps and calories burned everyday. Encourages me to walk more.

I really like the GPS feature in which you can pause your exercise and then continue.

I've only used it for two days but I've already fallen in love with this app! I'm using the premium feature which has granted me access to the programs. The program that I've been drawn to is the Walking to Jogging program. It slowly increases jog time while decreasing the walk time through times intervals. In the past this sort of program has exponentially improved my physical health and mental health and I'm delighted to find that this app incorporates such a great feature!

I used it for almost a year. At first it was simple, it tracked my runs and walks with minimal adds. I had a log for a year. Then it progressively added unwanted features and adds asking me to join garbage while clutting the exercise tracking features I do use. I don't have the time or desire to dream about my workout while sifting through garbage. I do it. So I am uninstalling this. I track my workouts myself and dont suffer the percieved mental trap of "loss aversion".

This app totally cheats you out of steps! If you sit down for awhile then get up & start walking again it won't start counting until you've taken a good 40-50 steps. Stop & go walking, such as doing housework, confuses it, too, & it will only count a fraction of the steps you actually take. It may not seem like much, but it adds up. And when you're trying to hit 10,000 every step counts.

I had a previous bracelet step tracker which kept running out of power. This one counts only the steps you take when it is in my hand. Because my phone is always charged, it always works. There are more assets which I haven't investigated. I know that my kitchen walking will not be counted,(needing two hands at the sink, etc.) so, at the end of the day, I mentally add 50/per cent to the screen count - I have set a reasonable target for my level - I mostly get it - I go to bed very happy!

Definitely enjoying the app. Counts all my steps and provide with daily goals as well. Recommended!

Really a useless app doesn't count the footsteps properly… I have walked for a distance of more than 6km and its showing 200 meter

After a few months the app stopped counting my step. I tried turning the sensitivity all the way up and I didnt work.

I find this app encouraging and motivating. I walk almost 5 miles daily, but it's really encouraging to know how many steps I take beyond my daily walk. I'm not entirely sure it's accurate as far as distance, though. The difference between my odometer reading and the app is significant; typically half-a-mile less than what I'm actually walking.

Good App. A brief outline of the information you can capture with the App might be good! Thanks

I love how easy is this app. I had not have a good experience with other similar apps. This is so far, the best!

I was considering getting a Fitbit when a friend recommended this app and I'm so glad he did! Firstly, its free and saved me £130 and 2nd, it does everything i wanted from a Fitbit!! One thing you have to remember, unlike a Fitbit thats attached to you all the time, this app only records your steps if its on your person. I carry my phone in my shirt pocket so get an accurate reading throughout my working day but at home the phone gets put down somewhere so any activity isn't recorded or monitored

Does the job. Only issue is that it also counts when you're driving. So you have to remember to pause it if your tracking a workout.

This is far most the best app I've ever downloaded as a step counter!!! I recommend this app very much, because it not only counts your steps but you can make and follow you're own different workout plans with your very own voice coach!!! You'll have to sign up for it but although I didn't try that yet. But this app is exceptionally the BEST!!! 🤩🤩

Just started using this app. So far as I can tell it's accurate. Just need this to motivate me to walk every day. So far it has.

This simple ap has all that I need. Not only does it interface with my Motorola and Samsung phone step counter (so I dont have the app running in the background), but has a good "activity" tracker with GPS map. I really didn't like the lack of privacy after UnderArmor bought MapMyFitness, so I appreciated not being a marketing opportunity with the Pedometer ap privacy policy. Update: The latest update is clean and functions well, which is more than can be said for major update in many apps.

Nice application. Help to track record of steps, body weight and calories .etc.

Gives you great information and tips to keep fit. Great tool to keep you fit.

Originally, the app tended to stop working after a few days - until it was fired up again. This hasn't happened with the more recent versions. It's a really fine app, keeping track of your step rate, distance walked, calories expended etc. and notifying you of your total every day.

Still figuring out the pace graph. But this app is fairly straightforward.

Keeps accurate track of steps, time. Calories , and distances walked/ran .👍😁
