    Player One Million and 5

I installed it just to have it and one day i open it to check a word and i am greeted by "your trial is over", alright i say, can i look at the word? I press to exit the popup and the app closes. I am using Internet connection and even if i wasn't what is the point of an app that can't do what it is made to do for free. I understand ads and additional services but its completely unusable.

I like the app, but it's missing audio pronunciation. With the addition of that, I would call it perfect.

After the tiral period, it kicked me out. I don't want an offline dictionary, and I'm ok with ads, so why cant I use this?

  4. hiroyuki tahara-avatar

No pronunciation in French. After purchase, I found that is for English learner of French person but not for French learner. Good English word dictionary app for French people, isn't it!?

  5. David Gregor-avatar

It is very broad dictionary. I also love offline dictionary feature. What is missing is the "search on the page" button. Sometimes the word has so many meanings (e.g. "passee"), that if you want to find the specific one you need to scroll down a lot. Therefore this button would help to search specific phrase or word on the page.

Well, in all my experience, I don't recall such misleading information. The dictionary is excellent. The price, however, is not (repeat NOT) properly communicated. There is a statement near the end of the description "This is a fully functional 30 day trial." Then, there is a listing of "Premium Features". Sadly, and completely out of the norm for such descriptions, at the end of the trial, there is only one option - buy premium. That is deceptive.

I absolutely hated using this app. It was good for a while but now it's far too frustrating to use. Whenever I open the dictionary I get bombarded with ads. Then, after closing these ads the app then decides that I don't deserve to use it and force closes itself. This happens repeatedly and consistently. I'd much rather use a paper dictionary than this again.

  8. Gary Jackob-avatar

4 major things with the application: 1. You cannot hear the words in French! Only in English. That is a big disadvantage to someone who wants to learn French. 2. It is not friendly and too complicated- When you are looking for a word it looks very complicated to find the right one. Too much info. 3. It is not smart. When you type the word and you make a little mistake, sometimes it doesn't give you another option. It is just stuck! 4. Vocabulary: The word PEUX (can) is missing in the search.

  9. A. L.-avatar

Still no cloud backup of favourites in 2019. Same goes for every other of your dictionary apps. Meanwhile, every single other dictionary app has implemented that feature. When are YOU going to ? While the Oxford databases are the best by far, your reader is the worst of current dictionary apps. Two other major flaws are the lag after typing the first letter, which then ignores the next letter, and the lack of update of search results when deleting letters, which requires to add another letter.

Fantastic examples that help create a strong global intuition about a word. One thing I would genuinely love to see is whether the "h" at the beginning of words is the "h" aspiré or the "h" muet. I would also love a complete verbal conjugation paradigm for every single verb, instead of directing them to a certain pattern of conjugation. So far I've never had any problem for this not being in the app, but I'm sure there will be some verbs which people will have doubts while conjugating.
