Reviews From google play store

All ox tools are terrible. This one will now disable editing calendar items.. showstopper causing missed appointments in real life. after disappearing notifications it's another but that will take many months to fix. Shame they or provider touch any core functions. Can't rely on anything in this alternative world.

please please please let ME decide if I want to use cellular networks for syncing. I'ts extremely annoying that the choice is offered, but the moment you close that tab, cellular networks are activated again

Contact sync doesn't work! If you reset your phone thinking that your contacts will be backed up, prepare to lose your contacts!

cannot manually select provider or its well hidden.

my provider is not on the providers list :/

caldav sync works well with mailbox dot org calendar.

Sometimes the app opens automatically on Nexus 5X. Please fix.

Works principally fine but I wanted to activate sync only using WiFi, but it's impossible to deactivate mobile networks in the app, as soon as I deactivate it and leave the settings, it reactivates by itsself. Further I can't use the widget of OX tasks, the app crashes when trying to put the widget in the launcher.

Does not let you use your own Open Xchange server. You must use a curated list of providers. Please add the option to specify your own server like the OX Mail app.

Been using the known DAV apps on the Play Store for a while and wanted to give OX own sync adapter a try. Surprisingly it does work reliable and seems to be recommendable as a alternative to the established apps. Update: Does not update contact folder names when renamed in the Open Xchange App Suite. Contact folders keep names as when they were created and cannot be renamed on the device.

use accounts on the device
Allows the app to request authentication tokens.

control vibration
Allows the app to control the vibrator.

prevent phone from sleeping
Allows the app to prevent the phone from going to sleep.

add or modify calendar events and send email to guests without owners' knowledge

modify your contacts
Allows the app to modify the data about your contacts stored on your phone, including the frequency with which you've called, emailed, or communicated in other ways with specific contacts. This permission allows apps to delete contact data.

modify system settings
Allows the app to modify the system's settings data. Malicious apps may corrupt your system's configuration.

toggle sync on and off
Allows an app to modify the sync settings for an account. For example, this can be used to enable sync of the People app with an account.

set an alarm
Allows the app to set an alarm in an installed alarm clock app. Some alarm clock apps may not implement this feature.

receive data from Internet
Allows apps to accept cloud to device messages sent by the app's service. Using this service will incur data usage. Malicious apps could cause excess data usage.
