Great library, terrible user experience. The only pro is access to such a large amount of content. However, it repeatedly crashes. Also, at least with the book I was trying to read, even on the smallest text, margin, and spacing, a 600 page book became 2500 pages. The text is still huge and spaced weird. It's hard on the eyes. I speedread, so I'm constantly flipping and the app gets hung up after 3-5 quick flips. That said, the app has great potential.

Cannot register or log in on mobile app even though I am logged in through the library. Useless app. Update: I had already shared the problem with the developers, but they responded to my poor review. That tells me what is important to them. No, my 1 star stays. It is too easy to find other digital material. I uninstalled this app and am not interested in reinstalling it to help find a solution and get it working.

Good app, but doesn't integrate with Android Auto. If you use this app to listen to audiobooks in your Android Auto-equipped car, you'll have to start, stop, pause, and navigate using the touchscreen of your phone. This app continues to cause drivers to be less attentive to the road while driving. Stars are for the quality of the app when used as a standalone player.

I like the app for audiobooks. It works great. However, for ebooks it needs improvement. For one, books must be read within the app (instead of loading the book on my kindle, as with other library apps) which removes some of the ease of use and functionality that could otherwise be there. I would very much like to be able to read them straight from my kindle and not within your app.

updates usually don't work. april 2019 no exception. now freezes on splash screen. clunky interface. wonder why my library thought this was ok. maybe it is all there is. Update: they must have been reading about the problems and issued further update. that worked for me. Update: 12/19 I have been using app for a while both on computer and android tablet. While still clunky and difficult to use, it has worked. It is very slow to load. So if making it work earns half a star I will update to 3.5 stars. I expect apps to work better than this.

For the most part this app works great. I have used it on 3 phones. However, on my new Galaxy 10Se, it does start back at the beginning of the chapter every time it restarts when I start my car. If fixed, would rate 5 stars. The bookmarks are helpful and I like that it plays offline instead of streaming. Great for travel. Update. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still going back to the beginning of the chapter when it restarts. The previous versions didn't do this.

No way to register for an account through the app. Mobile site is also having issues registering. Had to use a desktop to get set up. Once that was done, the app is working as I thought it would. *Update* Been using the app to borrow audiobooks to listen on my work commute. Everything is great, except there is no integration with Android Auto. I'm not going to stop using the app, but AA integration will make this a 5 star app for me.

Horrible functionality. Crashes multiple times each session. sometimes I have to open the app 6-7 times to use it. it also randomly times out when I am trying to hold or check out a book, regardless of my internet connection speed, which prevents me from checking out books. The app is great in theory and the interface is pretty good, but it is almost unusable with such glitches.

Trying to return old issues is a nightmare! If you have a lot of magazines and return one by tapping the X in the upper right corner, the program returns you to the first page of your list, regardless of what page that magazine issue was on. You can use the slower method of selecting the magazine, selecting delete, and clicking yes, and then clicking Back after deleting, but that is very slow.

I use this through my library to listen to audiobooks. Sometimes it's great and sometimes it's the worst! It will drop the last paragraphs of chapters (I've checked out the physical books to double check). It also now downloads out of order. If a chapter is broken into multiple parts you might start with the middle of the chapter and finish with the beginning of the chapter. Pathetic!! I will be petitioning my library to drop this app all together!
