Epic fail. The app works perfectly with no issues on all of my devices, yet it doesn't show up on Google Play and Play won't install it on most of them. Sideloading is a PITA, but it works. Also, geofencing app installs is incredibly stupid. People just sideload an app if they can't get it any other way. People who are travelling might want to install an app when they are outside the geofenced area, but since they can't, they will probably forget all about it when they get back. You're only shooting yourself in the foot and losing viewers. You need to get your heads out of your rectums, relax the compatibility list and remove the geofencing. You're only pushing people to consume your content in ways that don't get you any money or anything else you want.

Had issues turning off closed captions on my TV (TCL 50P8M) contacted SBS and was informed that this app isn't compatible with my TV. Google Play obviously says different though as I installed it through here. Other than that it was running fine until I'd get to the 3rd lot of ads during my program (X-Files) and the ads just wouldn't load. So I basically can't see the last 10 minutes or so of the program. I tried a number of things like resetting my internet, clearing cache etc, but nothing would work. Very disappointed as I've wanted to watch the X-Files for a while now and SBS On Demand is one of the very few services that stream it.

First impressions are important - could you please do some "beautification" work on the Home page? I definitely like the sidebar and do not like things being crowded, but as it is at the moment, there is very little to see on the Home page. Past the Home, things are OK. (I would like to be proud of SBS - I was one of those welcoming it into being) Reply to the reply - OK, understand the reasons. This also explains why the new Plex Android TV apps have the same Home page look.

Reply to SBS: Shows that are in progress need to also show on the ATV Home Page, not just in the app. That's a shame about not implementing the Live Channels, which is the main reason why I will continue to deduct 2 stars. 2nd Reply to SBS: Continue Watching is NOT the same as having SBS built into a *live* channels which also shows in a TV guide.
