I agree with all the praise this game gets its simple relaxing hard enough to challenge you but not to annoy you. The only problem for me is and this is the reason I stop playing many games is that this is a high-score based game. Don't get get me wrong I love high-score based games, but if this game relys on it then please get rid of the 'continiue if you watch add button' that kills it for me. high scores have no value because you can keep on going!! Please I really like this game get ride of that option and I'll play this game for ever and give five stars.

This is beautiful! I love the new scenery and music and new things compared to altos adventure, and that the night isnt as dark here. Also starting again from the beginning again is a new and exciting challenge, and I really look forward to seeing new things as I get further in the game! I wish I had my wingsuit already though. But the bird of paradise following around! The tornadoes and ballons! Its so cool! Havent met an elder here yet but guessing i havent reached that point yet lol. I'll still always love Alto's adventure of course but this is fantastic too! Thank you to the people who created these game!!

Beautiful scenery, relaxing music, and I am enchanted at how well this game functions despite details and speed. I'm glad I can skip ads that come inbetween runs and that I have a choice to watch the ads for better things. I also love the leveling and quest system, it really helps so that it isn't just that simple game with nothing else to it. My only problem is not with the app but the ads, some of the ads have "fake x out" buttons. I'm unsure if the dev. can fix that though.

This game is amazing. And I thought Alto's Adventure was fun ~ this game goes carried over the same fun elements and went above and beyond with mesmerizing visual, tranquil music, fun challenging gameplay, and new mechanics to incorporate the Desert Theme. Alto's Odyssey is definitely one of my favorite apps. My only criticism is the excessive ads. Even when I plan on watching one to continue my run, it makes me watch an additional ad, which is kinda annoying. But otherwise, this app is great.

I ADORE this game! It's so beautiful and addictive. The controls are easy to master, but the game play continues to be challenging as you go. The graphics are stunning. The music is so relaxing and engaging. Little detail that I really love - there's an equal amount of male and female characters! When you fail it's encouraging about it, like it says "crashes happen!" which I think is really nice. 😊 The only problem I have with it is that you can't mute some of the ads.

Loved it at first. The graphics are beautiful, the music soothing, and the gameplay smooth, but the wall riding aspect of this game killed it for me. There are points where wall riding is the only way to cross a chasm and it can be extremely difficult to pull it off. It kills the zen like atmosphere, and sucks out any enjoyment. Get rid of wall riding and I'll give 5 stars

Definitely better than Alto's Adventure. The music is soothing, so is the background graphics. But some improvement is needed as there are some bugs which account for abnormal game behaviour like I recently dived while wingsuiting directly into a sand dune and emerged on the other side with the sky beneath me and the sand abovehead...the game then stayed like that, with Sumara hanging in the sky on one corner of my screen...I could backflip on and on without landing, so I ended the game myself.

I'd give it 5 stars but I can't tell you how many times I come across the chasms labeled with an ⬆arrow and die. They are usually at the bottom of a couple hills and there is no possible chance to gain the altitude necessary to wall ride across. My only recommendation would perhaps to have the sign earlier to better prepare, or the incline up the rock walls less steep

I loved the original game and love the concept for this game, but the performance is barely playable. Also, I loved the audio in the original to add to the relaxing feel. The audio in this one just buzzes and squeals randomly like it's corrupted or something. Very disappointing as I was excited to play this. I would definitely give it at least 4 stars if it was playable on my Nexus 5X. UPDATE: The last update fixed the audio and the performance is quite a bit better overall, so I feel that the game deserves an improved rating.

The game itself is amazing. But I have a few issues with it that might be good for developers to acknowledge. First, the trick practice tutorial. The pop-up message can be displayed once, maybe twice, not before every jump you perform. Also, it would be great to let the player know that it's a tutorial and the can exit it through the pause menu, otherwise it seems like the game got looped or something. Second, the controls. Sometimes I would start playing but couldn't jump because the game would not react to my taps. I've experienced this thing a few times and I'm pretty sure that's not my phone's fault. Also, the game starts freezing noticeably when the wi-fi's on. Other than that, the game is absolutely beautiful and I'm in love.

I absolutely love love love this game! Amazing graphics and sound. It is so beautiful that sometimes I get caught looking at the graphics and forget to play. <3 There's only one reason why I gave 4 stars: please make it so you have 3 lives on every game and then you can watch a video for the 4th life. Otherwise it gets tiresome watching adds or resetting game all the time. I'll update my review if this gets fixed.

This game manages to provide a Very beautiful yet simplistic design. Odyssey manages to keep it fresh & provudes great replayability by switching the settings & seasonse same time. This game was challenging yet it was not complicated, conquering a challenge & having to face a new one kept me coming back fall after fall. Beautiful game & very satisfying to conquer the challenges it presents. The only complaint I have is that the ads can become annoying at times when you are ready for your next ride, but I guess you cant make such a pretty game for free. Two thumbs up

A great sequel from Noodlecake Studios, Alto's Odyssey is approachable and aesthetic. Gameplay is dynamic with plenty of challenging goals on each level - at the end of the day goals aside it is a fun survival type riding game. Great improvement like dynamic grind features, wallride and ditching the llama chasing. Ads aren't too annoying. A bit laggy at later levels of gameplay - still 5 stars!

TLDR; it pretty. do play. This game is gorgeous! I really enjoy the challenges and characters. If you get overwhelmed with the challenges, there's zen mode. I *love* zen mode, it's so calming! The music, the colors, everything. It is great for practicing and/or relaxing. The game sort of reminds me of temple run, but, more colorful. I also like this one just a bit more than Alto's Adventure, though, they're both awfully great. God bless!

This game is incredibly beautiful! Graphics are sumptuous and stunning, and despite the fact that the gameplay is very simple, the various interesting mechanics added make the game way more enjoyable, because of the diversity, than the "Alto's Adventure" with llamas (which is splendid too). I almost cried the last time I played <3. A big 'thank you' to the team which developped this masterpiece!

Plays fantastic in 2D on Lenovo Mirage Solo VR headset -- looks awesome on virtual 200" television! :D This version is very similar to the first version, Alto's Adventure, to me. A few new sceneries and backgrounds, ever-so-slight different game play, but more of the same. Still enjoyable, however. Art is excellent.

This game is GREAT! Probably the best endless runner type game out there right now. It's super smooth and satisfying to play, and it's absolutely gorgeous! And the soundtrack is WAY better than it has any right to be. I legit want to buy the music and listen to it all day. Only bad thing I've seen is that it can be a bit hard to see your character when it's dark. Seriously get this game though.

EDIT: The issue is now resolved so I've updated my review to 5 stars. I was really enjoying this game and paid to remove ads to support what is a great game. The option to purchase "remove ads" changed to purchased and I got a confirmation email for the payment. But now the option to purchase is back again and I am still getting ads :( (pop up ones not optional ones to continue run)

Amazing game, just like the first. The addition of the new mechanics keep it fresh while not taking it too far away from what made the original so great. My one problem is that I get massive frame drops on the game if I have literally any other app running in the background on my LG G6.

Some nice aspects to this update (not really a new game), but some of the chasms are 'uncrossable' with the early characters - very hard to get a speed boost because of the long slope before & jumping off the ramp isn't enough. On others the wall ride-jump-wall ride across a chasm doesn't seem to work right. The varied locations are great but I think maybe the original is better.
