Reviews From google play store

Very nice GitHub client app on Android. It works well on my tablet too. It would be even better if you can add "Black" theme that works better on AMOLED screen than "Dark".

this app introduces advertisements popups in your mobile which will start popping up even if you close the app. Initially i thought a mere uninstallation will solve the problem but no the ads will keep popping up and will keep on bothering you. Never install this app . Finally i had to format my mobile to get rid of the problem.

Demands permissions to absolutely everything. This app provides no way to restrict its OAuth token. I'm not about to hand over to a free app: access to my private company repos (that could get me fired if my account is hacked), access to deploy keys, full ability to push changes to the master branch, etc. Anyone who actually usea GitHub for anything important would be insane to use this app.

This has been a wonderful app. Fast and super easy to use. I've been able to track where and when a problem code change originally happened and how to fix it in minutes while on my phone.

This app works just fine in regards with the interface and functionality.

This app makes GitHub collaboration possible over my phone. I can look at tickets, pull requests, and multiple repositories pretty easily. Makes me smile a lot. :-)

It is very useful on the go to few changes in repos, especially a team repo. It is a very handy app. kudos

Finally use it in my android phone. Great thanks to the app author. This app really brings me a lot of help.

Great and all but it sucks that I can't get newest results first when searching code.

The app cannot use an access token for login, as FastHub can.

My favorite Github app. Though it does lack some functionality.

Cannot all file download add all file open option view and download

Doesn't authenticate properly

Most confusing ui I've ever used in my life.

Need Sign Up option, ASAP!

Can you add support for GitHub Package Registry?

works very well.

I wish you could edit your files

Please add the ability to approve PRs without writing a comment. I can do this on the website. Also does not retain state when sent to the background so I have lost many comments in progress when switching to the browser. Glad GitHub is releasing an official client soon so I can stop using this.

It would be cool to manage (add, remove) labels in the app. Please add this feature. - Adding a reaction to a pull request comment does not work.

It's a good GitHub client

This Is Very Useful Github App But Needs an Option To Edit Or Change (Adding Files,Editing Datas , Editing Readme) etc Will Be Very Useful And Make You to Get 5★

Much needed application, who manages the repository. It's bit easier to use and retrieve our repo information out from it!! Thanks a bunch!!

The best app for github app for android! i dont feel that i'm using a browser while using this app

Can't log in when Yubikey is MFA device. I even tried adding my phone for SMS as a second MFA option, but I don't get an SMS after giving my name/pass to Octodroid

Images in Markdown files don't get loaded

Pretty good but can't subscribe to issues?

Easy to use.

Good

It seems to work fine, but it is a bit buggy: for example it doesn't allow you to accept a pull request unless you submit some comment along with it. GitHub doesn't require it, their website doesn't require it. You need to enter some blank text eg. a single space to proceed. I fail to see the point of it

This is my preferred GitHub client. It works well and never crashes. Only thing I would ask for is to be able to choose another theme color. The green does not look good in my opinion

The app consistently crashes when I try and click on "My Notifications" from the left sidebar. I tried clearing the cache and even reinstalled it but no luck. Galaxy S8

Good finally a github client which allows browsing without an account.

I can't post a comment

Would be a great app, if it provided push notifications.

It's a good solution for git stuff on the phone

Cool app and design

ez to work

Great app, but when viewing Organizations, doesn't scroll to enable viewing all repos within the org. Only repos that fit on the single page view are displayed, if you click"Show More", only public repos are shown. Also, it would be nice to be able to view teams in an organization.

同时下载了OctoDroid和FastHub做对比,更喜欢FastHub,一是界面信息更丰富、颜色更舒适、图片显示尺寸更适合手机;二是交互更快捷,在绝大多数界面都可以向右滑动调出边栏。

This is an alternative to FastHub below Android 5.0 :)

Very useful to view/comment github staffs than using a browser.

It works. However: * It is slow. seemingly it doesn't even keep a project's directory structure in memory . - * very limited editing capabilities. Almost a read-only view of what is there. Does have some nice features missing from a few apps: * Syntax highlighting * Pretty readme rendering.

Good stuff. Please don't request read and write access to my PERSONAL data though. I don't want OctoDroid to be able to lock me out of my account by changing my linked email, un-follow projects I'm interested in, etc... Maybe provide the user with options for read-only, no personal data and other stuff like that :)

Freezes while trying to browse large ~60kb text files (css). Also, no option to fork a repo. Still one of the best options...

Great improvement. No longer ask for your GitHub credentials. Now uses OAuth2. However, given the sensitivity of the data, this app should request more granular access Scopes (i.e. I want to use it for my personal repos, without giving it access to my organizations repos).

Too many permissions required on GitHub... this is unsafe. Needs to request less authority.

It's an ok interface but the most fustrating thing is I can add issues as the button keeps disappearing..

This app is very simple and does what it claims 👍5-stars! (love the white/green color scheme!)

Best github app available. Open source and kept up to date. Kudos to the dev and the community that helps!

This app asks for way too much power over my github account. Try different tires of access.

robust and easy to do review. UI is clean and clear. I hope on the future we can copy URL in HTTPS and SSH. And, we can do code editing using external editor.

Great that it's ad-free, but you can't upload pictures

The developer added ouath support after it was requested

Why does it need write permission for my account. Read permission should suffice.

Really useful app for keeping up to date with your repos.

It does what it says on the box. To put it simply a very good app!

Pretty good. Just missing support for projects to make it complete.

Nice github client. Please add wiki and project support.

wow great

Great github app

Very weird way to use authentication I'm not filling my username and pass word to a third app. This is basic nowadays. Please, fix this. A lot of simple Github Apps already has OAuth.

Exceeded my expectations. Very convenient and fast. Would be nice to have ability to choose color scheme

Please add fork Option! I can't fork any repository from it

Private repos are not visible in the app.

Needs ability to edit gists

Easily view GitHub account, great

How can I insert pictures for the newly created issues ?

Excellent!!

Most of the time, this app fails to load data for private repos. When it does work, it has another issue. My main use case for GitHub on my phone is to view and respond to line comments on PRs. This app shows line comments, but doesn't show the associated line nor its context, so I must switch to the file view to see that. Pretty awkward.

Viewing issues in a repository and filtering by milestone. It keeps saying there are no open issues for a milestone when I try to filter by that milestone - for each milestone. And I know there are issues for two reasons 1) when I view all open issues I can see that they're assigned to specific milestones, 2) when i view in GitHub I can see lists of issues per milestone. This is the only functionality I need on mobile so the app is basically useless to me.

The reply from developer didn't help, as I don't find private filter in the filter list. Also I find the app doesn't remember username and password so every time I need to type in password again.

I've been using this app to check my watched repositories for new commits. Very happy so far. Only thing I am missing is a list of all the watched repositories, please consider adding it. Thanks.

I can't create issues and I got an error viewing one of my friends profiles. Overall it's a good app though, the ui is pretty slick.

High quality github client. So easy to bookmark repos and contributors, and so easy to download repos. It would be good if you could filter repos by language, e.g. Java. As this info is already displayed with each repo, I'm surprised it's not already one of the filters. It would make a big difference to repo browsing. Hitting the back button doesn't always take you back through your viewing history, e.g. from a repo back to your search results, so you have to search again. Still a great app though. v.useful

It's very slick and easy to navigate. The only issue I ran into was being unable to locate the fork option, but I can live with that.

This is *almost* what I need for the full mobile github existence, except for one missing piece: no status updates in PRs! (I.e. "the Travis tests have passed.) Without those I really can't use this for maintaining anything because most projects I work on have policies that CI tests must pass before merging...

It's better than the official, at least last time I checked. Its syntax highlighting still doesn't handle VB comments. Oh, well. I don't like VB anyhow.

I had to get the navigations right in the beginning but now that I'm used to it, i feel lile this is the best Github client there currently is! Really awesome design aswell :)

Asking for username and password to login. But i am not registered yet. I have github account, but your app showing me your login screen, wjat to do now???

Github supports OAuth, which this should use. It allows the app to have selective access to data without knowing the password.

Great app first of all. I was waiting for comprehensive Android app for GitHub. I'm still waiting for support for approval support on PR and ignore whitespace support in code changes view.

Nope. User/pass auth is unacceptable for third party apps

How about adding a function that allows users to copy the URL for git clone quickly? Downloading codes as ZIP in your app is convenient but I mainly use git clone to download codes. It would be better to provide users the URL for git clone. Thank you.

Little something.. I would like the app to support multiple assigned user to a issue.

Added two factor authentication and the token is not getting verified

Excellent GitHub Client! It has everything that I need!

Loved it. Would be better if you add the "squash & merge" option on pull requests!

The app is just smooth. I like the user interface also. Great job devs! Cheers!

Explore option is not working probably disabled

...overall an excellent product. but the fact i cant add a gist is a dealbreaker for me. that was the biggest reason i want a git client on my phone.

"No trending repositories found." The GitHub API changed?

Missing notifications only or an indicator on the app icon of how many there are.

I can't see my starred repos

I can not sig. In to my github enterprise account (LDAP)

App is great, but I added few wiki pages to a repo and I do not see them in the wiki updates section

Works great, looks great and customer service is great too :-)

Packs good amount features and even supports line review..

The app doesn't use OAuth. That's a non-starter.
