    It's a fine app, sure, does the expected minimum. It can store tickets, that's at least worth 2 stars. Minus 3 because it doesn't suggest to get out 2 stops earlier to catch the same train at a different station. It even goes as far as telling me that It's not possible anymore to catch the next train. In bright red colors. Yeah, I thought of it myself, but I want to be able to trust my apps.

    Not able to import tickets. I have tried a number of times, only get a message saying it takes 30 seconds, but then no more happens. It worked before though. Back to printouts 😣 Update: after reading other reviews I deleted the app and reinstalled it and now it works. So more or less lucky. However, this was the first thing I tried, but Google play insisted that the app was up to date. Don't know if this is a Google play or NS failure, but in any case it took me much more time than needed.

    This app is pointless, it just redirects you to the website to do the actual booking. Very frustrating overall.

    Used to be a really good app. Never had any issues with this before, but this year I can't import my tickets any longer.. what happened? (I did check and reinstall the app to make sure I have the latest version) And it seems from the reviews I am not the only one with this problem. Fix this or at least reply to customer complaints, don't hide behind your position of power since we can't pick anither train company to purchase from! :(

    Never seen such a faulty app in my life: - created accound for the purpose of not printing a ticket. it asked me to fill in some personal details to complete account. All was in dutch, changing to english would redirect me to another section. - after finally managing to fill in my details, I had to sign back in: SURPRISE! Username and password combination not working anymore. As far as I can see, I am not the only one. Very disappointing

    Cant be relied on. Options that are on the browser are clumsly difficult to find on this app. Tickets apear not always on time and I rather kept a PDF file of my ticket on my Phone rather than rely on the whims of this app. worse thing yet, I once double paid for a ticket because I got a failscreen at my first attempt (but it didnt). Could not get a refund. I only use this app to see the actuality of traveltimes, but I wont rely it with the purchase and holding of tickets.

    It is annoying that there are 2 buttons (travel a d ticket) and that if you tap the travel button you don't get the barcode/your ticket. In fact it says: no details provided. It is confusing and useless. Also, the travel information is not up to date. The regional train had a delay of 6 minutes (connection time only 4 minutes) it did not mention the delay, nor the consequences. Please approve!

    Update 01/12/2019: wanted to update my previous (two star) review for a while now, but didn't get around to it. Would have given 5 stars because NS managed to fix the ticket import function but it's broken again. Worse, the planning functionality is broken too, so the whole app becomes pretty useless. Minus one star instead of plus 4, a shame.

    Useful for international travel. Saves your bookings, tells you which train you are on, usually can tell you which platform you need. Only moderately good for booking trips, because for some reason there are places you can't book to. Pretty terrible at storing your tickets. In theory it stores your tickets, but in practice, forget it.

    after the last several updates, e-ticket cannot be imported into the app anymore. and login with an account is required, to do literally anything with this trash app. i dont have time to make a f****** account just so i can go for a business trip. and what is even ironic is after you make the account you will still find it unusable. even an e-ticket cannot be imported into it. never NS International again!

    love it! smooth easy and informative. I used it to book a trip to belguim and the offers price really good. the payment went right only for once I done payed it showed an error but I received a confirmation email and after two time refreshes of the app my tickets showed confirmed. thought to mention this might help the developers. thank you guys for making it easy for us.

    since last week cant give more stars cos tickets which I bought week ago for travel today not loaded in app only one way have not return ticket in app so I had to search in my email this ticket for control in train ..n tried that ticket loaded to up before travel and keep saying that tickets are already in app but it's not only shows one way ... I bought returnt trip to belgium as I do often.

    After setting the language in English every single detail in the sign up process was in Dutch. Inside the train and stations also not a single announcement in English. We sat on a random seat, conductor came said ok then after a few hours another passenger enters and tells us it was their seat but at that time train was almost full so we went in completely unnecessary trouble. It was helpful to have instant updates of schedule though.

    all of a sudden it's not possible anymore to download tickets to this app, what's really annoying since now I have the hassle of printing them.. Hope you guys will fix this again to how it used to be!

    Very good in locating trains, timings and transters. Need to work on the notifications. I do not remember getting notified on anything. Used the app during my resent trip to the Netherlands and was very helpful!

    Terrible app. my imported booking shows other information than the mail. Station to transfer train is not part of ice trip! Transfer time not calculated correctly. Notifications provide wrong info. Real nightmare.

    This application runs in English just fine *until* one tries to sign up for an account, whereupon it is only Dutch. This is just poor, sloppy programming which makes this software far less useful.

    horrible and useless app. I just downloaded the app to get my tickets in the app. I keep receiving the "Error while importing" message and can't even login on the app. Logging in on the website works just fine.

    This app has become useless since the latest update. It is no longer possible to import tickets, which means one needs to print them before traveling.

    Bad UX design and buggy. For example you need to register using an in app browser just to load your tickets. I don't know which bug to mention first.

    can't actually find the option to buy tickets. I've tried anything on the app, but can't find it. the app is completly useless without this option, because you have to go on the site to buy the tickets.

    Nice app but can be improved by allowing user to copy disruption so that non dutch speaking user can understand them. Or show in english as well. Its not easy to decide the plan if i can not understand whats not working.

    You can see the one-way train times in the app, but for the return leg you're redirected to the website. Would be good to have all the functionality in the app.

    No issue with the app whatsoever. All i had to do was press a link in my confirmation email and the ticket was instantly loaded into the app.

    Doesn't seem to be any link between this app and their native app and website. Can login to their website and app no problem but not on this. Will learn Dutch instead by using their native app!

    Wrong information in train numbers, platform numbers, transfer time and even city names! (told us we had a stop in berlin instead of stuttgart...) complete misinformation about which train you need to have.

    Importing tickets very unstable and if you purchase 4 tickets for 4 different days you need to go through the purchase process 4 times. Why is there no basket for multiple tickets? Horrible app.

    Compared to DB, this app has an extremely good UX flow when purchasing tickets. Simple overviews that are not cluttered with secondary info.

    De applicatie ziet er zeer goed uit. Het gebruik is doordacht en eenvoudig voor de gebruiker. Ideaal voor het opzoeken van treintijden en het opslaan van tickets. Er zijn echter wel verbeteringen. Tickets importeren lukt niet altijd voor de eerste keer. Na een tweede poging lukt het wel. Helaas is ook het Go-Pass (België) tarief niet geïntegreerd voor jongere gebruikers, waardoor je standaard te veel betaald als je boekt via NS international. Om deze reden koop ik altijd twee losse tickets.

    Iets gaat fout met de tijdzones. De vertrektijd is niet in lokale tijd, maar in de tijdzone waar je bent. De aankomsttijd is vervolgens in geen enkele relevante tijdzone correct.

    Extreem irritante en slecht uitgedachte loginprocedure. Bookings laden vereist een NS account, maar Zakelijk is 'not supported' en voor het activeren van een nieuw NS account moet je een andere email en OVkaartnummer opgeven, terwijl juist bij NS Internationaal vaak de tickets of de app gebruikt worden ipv een chipkaart. Ook de inloginterface is clumsy, waarom geen openID of Google support? De app voelt als een grote middelvinger, geen goede ervaring voor internationale reizigers

    Er zat duidelijk een fout in één van de laatste versies, maar na het installeren van de nieuwste versie werkt het importeren van kaartjes weer.

    Volgens jullie update informatie, was de laatste update om problemen met het importeren van tickets te verhelpen. Vóór de update had ik daar geen problemen mee. Sinds de update ben ik al m'n tickets kwijt en kan ik ze ook niet meer importeren. Helpdesk via Twitter zegt dat ik dan maar moet betalen om de tickets bij het station af te laten drukken. Waardeloos!

    Potentieel een handige app, maar bevat nog wat bug die het gebruik lastig maken. Bij het laden van een retourticket via de link in de bevestigingsmail werd bij mij alleen de heenreis geladen. Dus helaas toch de printer tevoorschijn moeten halen.

    Waardeloos. Je blijft niet ingelogd, de interface is gewoon de normale website (dus relatief traag en onhandig), en er zijn belachelijke eisen aan je wachtwoord.

    Kan mijn ticket maar niet importen naar de app.. De welbekende error die alsmaar terug blijft komen. nutteloze app, zit nu met mijn tickets die ik niet kan printen of op de app kan zetten. waardeloos. Hoe kan NS zeggen dat de import functie 'verbeterd' is als die het gewoon niet doet?...

    Horrible app! It doesn't show you most of the critical information about your journey but only very compact summary. Why guys? Are you too lazy to design a better user interface? Or are your developers too incompatible to query simple data from your data base? Or your managers are to o dumb to find out what's best for the customers? It's very easy to get the wrong train with that app

    The app is crashing when gets notifications regarding the journey that you marked as favorite. On each delay popup there is a force stop message on Samsung S8+ with latest firmware/Android 8. On Samsung galaxy s6 with android 6 and 7 everything was fine. Please fix. If you need details - let me know.

    Good if you know what you are doing. See alot of people complain because they don't understand what it's for. Well you can't book on the app but it takes you to their site and the trip you want. I mainly use it to check the train times and you can actually get your tickets on there. Extremely useful

    Cannot use for international journeys- the exact point of the app! Lets you book a ticket telling you its possible to transfer the data to the app- then tells you its only possible to print it! Absolutely useless.

    Useless app. Why to create it I am redirected to the website when I want to buy a ticket? Also not possible to buy multiple tickets. Guys, you really have to work a lot!

    Handige app als je vaak international reist, maar enorm irritant dat de app iedere keer opent als je een notificatie verwijderd. Ik sluit de notificatie omdat ik deze niet wil zien, dit betekend niet dat ik wil dat de app opent.

    I don't see the value using this app. I can't say if I have reductions (so the prices display are not those I should pay). And when I click on "book" I am redirecting to the website to go through all the process again... useless

    Visueel aantrekkelijke app, helaas dat veel de animaties op een lage framerate afspelen, zoals het scrollen van de pagina en het openen van het hamburger menu, de ns reisplanner app ondervind deze problemen niet.

    The app is unstable and crashes when you try to access the imported ticket. Recomend having a printed ticket/email and not to rely solely on this app.

    If you've updated the app and tried to retrieve added bookings, the app crashes, because it doesn't ask for its newly required permissions. Either set those manually, or clean up/reinstall the app if you have your upcoming bookings still in your mailbox. It will ask for the permissions on new installs automatically.

    Zinloos. De scanner van de controleur kon de qr code niet lezen, met geen enkele schermhelderheid. Gelukkig had ik m'n kaartje ook uitgeprint. Bij andere digitale kaartjes heb ik met deze telefoon geen enkel probleem gehad. Ook is het buitengewoon irritant om tijdens de reis voortdurend het ns-logo bovenaan m'n scherm te zien, zonder de mogelijkheid dit uit te zetten. Om maar niet te spreken van het berichtvenstertje op m'n drop down menu. Vreselijke en zinloze app.

    Als ie werkt is ie geweldig. Hij stopt alleen erg vaak op mijn wat oude Sony Xperia... De barcode is echter wel altijd wel te zien.

    Pathetic app, They never never never provides actual schedules. You need to run behind railway personal to understand actual schedule. Don't be dependent on what train schedule or time table this application shows. Horrible when you are travelling and try to find trains to reach your destination. My situation is so sad that I need to travel frequently on the ns trains & don't have anything to use than this poor app. I appeal to NS.nl IT and Railway Ops to wake-up and reverse the path from stone age

    The app gives an error message when try to upload the ticket on my mobile via provided link. Customer service has been informed, it's a known issue and their software engineers are working on that.

    I tried hard to get the ticket in the app - no luck. Surprisingly, there's no booking lookup. You simply can't lookup / add your booking directly through the app. Instead there's some error-prone email link functionality

    It'll tell you that there's a train going where you want to go, but when it comes time to buy the ticket, it bounces you to the website, where you have to start your search all over again.
