I loved the old app scan and go but this new app is terrible and completely useless. It's not recognizing that I am in the store and keeps asking me to connect to a Sam's club wifi even I'm already connected to it. If you can't make something better than you should leave it as it is until you come up with a better one. Bring back the old app scan and go.

I'm giving the app 3 stars mainly for the scan-and-go functionality, which I'm already familiar with from the regular Sam's Club app. I never shop at Sam's Club without it. It's nice to be able to search for an item and know the aisle where the item is located, but Wal-Mart's app does that as well, so that's nothing new. The additional functionality of getting directions to an item's physical location is interesting, but the app continuously misidentified my location and kept changing the direction it wanted me to go. Additionally, the map had a tendency to rotate on its own, which was very disorienting. Since the item search returns the aisle number of the item's location, IMO the direction map should also show aisle numbers to help orient the user, rather than just aisle names like "snacks" and "pets", which has no logical ordering. Another usability issue I have with the app -- and this applies to the regular Sam's Club app, too -- is that it does not allow you to paste your password. This makes using a password manager (e.g. KeePass) very difficult and actually forces me to use a much weaker, shorter password than a password manager's much longer random password.

Its location service never worked. I was standing at the customer service counter in Sam's and it wouldn't scan items because I wasn't located in any store. The main reason for me using the app was to scan and go and it wasn't worth a plug nickel. I have since gone back to the old app which works perfectly. Sam's needs to stop fixing things that aren't broken

This app really sucks!.... It's connected to a club and has the club WiFi on but still won't open. I tried to just use my own internet but it won't let me and can't even seem to get past this step so I can scan my items. Useless app and a huge wast of anyone's time. I loved the app when it was the original Scan and Go... But since they changed it to this it's a big let down. The lines in the store are ALWAYS so long and I just want to get my stuff and get out..... FIX YOUR APP PLEASE!

Horrible, used to use the scan and go app but looks like they discontinued and moved us to this one...have tried this so many times over the past 8 weeks and will not recognize me in the store...even though I'm connected to Sam's Club Wifi!! Such a waste of phone space and my time!! 😡

The old app worked amazing... since the new app has been up, I can't get it to work..... EVER.... says it only works in a store, I am in the store... says I can even scan via WiFi, am connected and it will not connect.......

I have moved my star to 2. App is misleading. Should say sams Greenville or wherever. All of a sudden my regular sams app had an update and was able to scan through there where I couldn't before which is why I downloaded this app. Just recieved an email explaining why "now" didn't work in the first place. Should say the location on main page. Partly my fault due to faulty thinking it was the scan app replacement. Less confusion for everyone if this app didn't exist

Sure you have to get a different app to use at the Sams Club Now stores but it's just as easy as the original sams club app and once you log in it uses your sams club info! really cool. i prefer the smaller sams club now store so i like this app

This was an amazing experience. I've never liked shopping until today. If this keeps up, I will forever do all my grocery shopping with Sam's club now.
