I have tried notion a few times over the past couple years. Not good for quick adds or jotting down ideas. The app takes a very long time to load up on the phone. Working off a laptop is slightly better, but not much. A rep replied to me a year a year ago and said they knew it was slow to load and they are working in it, but I think it was a canned response. I recently tried notion again and to be honest, it loads even slower. I have a brand new phone too.

Doesn't work as well as the site online (even openes on mobile but with "desktop site"). For example for starting a new line while in a bullet list or any kind of list you need to tap 2 times the return button for whatever reason. Also doesn't work well with slit screen application (the ui don't work properly). Also i'd like to be able to reduce the zoom in order to see more content.

The editing options after the update are inconvenient. I can't access my recently used text colour/highlight, or make text colour edits to image captions like before. Text lines don't line up or separate even after hitting enter multiple times (although this problem has persisted even before the update). Love notion for how convenient it is but the recent update has me feeling frustrated. Please fix this!

So far I LOVE the lay out of the app, very simple has a lot of variations for note taking and other productive activities. Although I must say I am deeply disappointed that for the time being there is not a feature to "select all" then "copy and paste" it, pasting words in general is a bit difficult sometimes. Until that gets implemented I'm sorry to say that it's a 3 star review from me, I see Immense potential so i would love to see this app grow!

This is can be a good app, but the Android version has some serious bugs that desperately need to be fixed. The app lags when typing. Lines of text don't always separate properly after hitting return. And, even worse for my purposes, the app won't let me copy more than one paragraph of text at a time when a note is unlocked. If the note is locked, it will select the text, but I can't copy or do anything with it.

The online version of notion is much better of course, but the app will not even let me view embedded PDF's that I have in my notes. This is basically all I use notion for at the moment, uploading notes so I will have them anywhere, but it's impossible to even view the notes with the app so there is hardly any point. Would give a few more stars if this weren't the case.

It's great, powerful and full of feature. You can customize everything as you need But, it's looks like newspaper that the ui is not better than the competitors i thought (subjective). And I'm still not 100% sure in regards of the privacy and security. Edit: 5 stars now, the offline mode support kills those advantage above ๐

Now so many bugs, crashing, can't copy and paste. Also, the new action bar is awful - less buttons on screen and it moves so you have to scroll for every action. The buttons move after each press so if you want to delete like 4 letters in a row you have to look after pressing each delete. It's constantly making me try to put in mentions or comments because I hit the wrong action.

The animation and transition still lagging. Colour options are limited. Everything take too much time to reload when opening. writing notes isn't really user friendly when it comes to selecting the heading, bullet points, checkout box and etc compared with other apps. The undo button and 'turn into' button are not easy accessible. you can make it be at top right corner so that it is easier and faster to be used. Now I'm going to other apps after 2 years use since it's too slow to get better.

Good feature set. However, lacks some basic note taking essentials. Copying multiple blocks is not working without locking the page. When selecting text in a locked page copy dialog most of the time does not appear. Very frustrating. Not being able to delete multiple blocks. Etc. etc. And it's not like people did not complain about this. I find messages from 2019 with notion responding and nothing.
