I have loved Note Everything Pro for years now, and am happy to report that those who have "lost" the free base version can actually obtain it from the developer's website, as it still resides there. I do hope that they might pick up the torch again, but the original free version with the Pro add-on works perfectly well for me under Android 11. It is bit of a trick, though, trying to figure out where your existing version has been putting backups, or will put backups to ZIP files if you make one. I had originally set mine up to go to my microSD card, but eventually Android blocked that so Note Everything set up a noteeverything/backup folder on internal storage. I was able to snag my most recent backup from there, carry it over to my new device, and place it in internal storage under the noteeverything/backup folder there, then use the backup/restore function to get all of my notes back. I'll keep using this wonderful app for as long as Android itself allows me to. But you still can use it, you just have to snag the Note Everything base app, which the Pro add-on requires, from the developer's website, since it has not been updated recently enough to comply with the Google Play Store requirements (which are a good thing, but painful when this sort of "disappearance" occurs).

I paid for add on because original app messed up so I deleted it but could only find paid version after. I lost so much important information thinking I would get it back when reinstalled. Why put the paid add on in store but not the original version you need for it to work?

I paid for this thinking the free version now has a fee. being a user for years I was closer illing to pay for it on my new phone. now I find out this is an add on for an app no longer available on the app store. I contacted the company and no reply. I'm out the cost of this app and don't have the app or alternative ðŸ˜

I've had this app for many years and have loved it. It has changed over to many new phones. I had to buy a new phone and in the process of changing things over, I lost years of notes, and I had originally bought the upgraded version of this app. No one from this app, will contact me to help me reload, and it tells me that I have to download so many things that do not help. Because of their costumer service I wish I could give it a negative rating. I need my notes, and there's no one to help.

I loved the app, especially the durable checklist. I've been using the app since probably 2012. But the backup feature does not work so everytime I get a new phone I have to manually transfer the information. That's assuming I had access to the old phone. Seeing its been 2.5 years since the last update I can't bring myself to keep using it if I'm going to invariably lose everything again.

It is clear to me that the developer no longer supports these apps. It has not been updated since 2013. I have written several requests asking about support. I get a quick canned response promising an answer to my query in three days but no follow up. I have used this app for many years and think it is great. But I suspect it will soon stop functioning after some Android upgrade and there will be no fix. I do not recommend others start using it.

I really like the way notes are stored in folders and sub-folders. Easy to navigate. I also like the checklists and recurring checklists. Where this app falls flat is in the backups. I still have old copies of notes even when I do a fresh backup. The backups are not being updated. I recommend you avoid this app. You could risk losing a lot of data.

Long time user. Really liked this app, although it has a few quirks that can be annoying. However, I just updated my Note 8 to Android 9, & I get a message that Note Everything is not compatible, and to contact the developer. I realize this app has not been updated in 3 years! So, I am contacting the developer: Please update, or I will have no choice but to find something else.

I've used this app for many years but it is no longer updated and old problems remain unresolved. Copy paste does not work correctly, when you select a note to stick to the top of the list it doesn't stick as you add new notes, and some other issues. I like a lot of its features and I will miss it but I am hunting around for a replacement that is kept up-to-date and maintained.

I do NOT like giving this a one star review. I have been using since it was released. I've always had it. It's caused issues on occasion but has been unique, attractive, solid, reliable, straightforward with a variety of useful tools. It still has everything. It doesn't always function. It occasionally loses your pass code and renders useless your encrypted data. I cannot use it any longer. I am struck aghast at the lost links from my technical hauberk. Obviously not seeing regular updates...
