    The service needs to be paused for every action online, from a simple web search to sending and receiving emails to downloading an app and on and on. Plus, their customer service just stop answering emails, offers no solutions but to pay for more of their services. I won't be using this app anymore. It's sad that the contract is paid for 3years at the time, we get stuck with it. Now you pretend to care. No ticket number could be found and yet no answers

    It's the little things. I came over from PIA and now I can't even remember why. The Nord app keeps logging me out weekly or so. Why? Many sites also seem to think that my IP address is suspicious, so the amount of CAPTCHA that I need to complete, even on google searches, is really getting annoying. This was never a problem with PIA, so either Nord servers are considered dodgy, or Google started targeting VPNs after I migrated. Not very happy with the service.

    By design, this type of app should be infallible. Users put their trust in it, so the dodgy updates & unintentional log outs are not forgivable. Should be tested before rolling out. Login page now says "with the latest app update, some of your app configuration may be reset to default" shows a bad attitude to customer security, slapdash programming and a terrible customer journey. Why not backup user settings & restore the most similar after the update? Nope, I have to start over 🤬

    It took me 2 hours this morning to connect the vpn, on my laptop. Still not connected on my phone, despite trying both wifi and mobile data. No changes made in the last 6 months. When contacting support, all they tell me is to switch between protocols. Honestly, just admit you have issues with your service, and don't put this on the customer. Your service is very bad, wasting cusomer's time and nerves as you are unable to provide a decent service. Latest reviews are proof of your bad service.

    New update from nord vpn. Well done. Now we need to connect via a web browser to be able to use the app. No privacy anymore as they are using cookies to log into the system... If you clear your browser you'll need to log again on nordvpn.... Very good idea. Don't you think your customers want privacy?!

    It was fine! And then an upgrade happened, and it is now not quick and easy but nigh to Impossible to log into the app... Are you trying to destroy your product? It just does not work anymore with the loop from the app to the browser and then back...

    Pros it does what its supposed to, Cons a lot of issues with websites asking for captchas or blocking access all together! I can't get on my local Craigslist while I have Nord VPN running! And If I have a router setup with Nord it's not easy to pause or disable it nevermind changing servers! Nords response to this ? Change servers till you can get past the captchas? Of course they had a comeback pay for a dedicated IP! Also they ban new Reddit users from posting! Kind of fishy people can't talk

    Have begun encountering problems. I am frequently logged out of my accounts on Android Smartphone & Tablet, Windows laptop and NordVPN extension for Chrome on Windows Laptop, besides losing points at 8 Ball Pool and encountering error messages within Facebook if I use the APK app. I am unable to use the paid subscription of three years, to its full potential!     2 years ago i gave it 3 stars even though it took 2 hours to connect to a server (on android). I uninstalled it and decided to reinstall again this year and still they haven't fixed this horrible issue, THE VPN NEVER CONNECTS! Goodbye again

    Sort your connection out! it takes forever to connect, I introduced 5 friends to Nord, now it looks like there going to switch to another Vpn, I don't blame them, if this does not get fixed asap then I will have no option but to try a different Vpn.

    There is some apps I can't even use when connected and I can only open it when I turn VPN off. And even sometimes I try to open something like Google it never loads because of this app. As well takes forever to connect to a server and blocks all my services from using mobile data.

    Latest version updated yesterday does not work. I am unable to connect to any server. No error message, sound or anything else. My windows version works fine & so does the app on my NV Shield. Not working on my Samsung S9 android 10 ­ Update: issue was caused by BlokADA VPN Always on=True Unset this option, this allowed NordVPN to use/create VPN connection

    internet speeds are good when you are able to get on a site but most of the ips nord uses seem to be blocked by most major sites i have to always change the location and the app is so slow to start up not a great fan!

    The app does as described, BUT, they make all their money off of customers forgetting that every plan is autorenewal. If you catch it renewing 1 second late they won't reimburse you. BUYER BEWARE they are a little a scammy in this regard

    The app asks me to log in every time I launch it. Very annoying. The VPN server located in Bangkok is very slow. Feels like I'm being insulted every time I connect to that server.

    Easy to use vpn, status bar notifications let you know when you have a secure connection. App allows you to quick connect or perform different types of connections similar to the desktop version. Only thing I would like is for the status bar notification app to have the option to disconnect and then remove itself. Currently to do this you have to open the app and click disconnect.

    This app used to work fine. Now its impossible to log in!! I tried everything, uninstalling and then installing. Waiting days to fix the issue. Sometimes the log in page doesn't load, other days you manage to log in, only to be sent back to the page where you have to log in again and that cycle never ends. I want my money back! Extremely disappointed!!

    A bit of a hassle to use. It forced me to change my password (your password expires after X days), and I have to log back into the app fairly often. Plus I have frequent issues with the connection and I'll have to restart the VPN. Oh and just now when I had to go log in I had to select add new account, otherwise it would error out trying to log me into my existing one.

    App is very slow and when I chat to support they say I need to install other apps to try and get the connection to work. That is not how it should be. One should just download the app and connect. But when using NordVPN it just does not connect. Its more down that it is up. I asked for a refund and they just say I need to use other apps to make it work. Very disappointed. When I use ExpressVPN and ProtonVPN , IT JUST WORKS! Do not use this App!

    I travel a lot and heavily rely on this VPN. I would say it works maybe 35% of the time at best. This is for both the desktop version and mobile version. It's always a mission to get it working that 35% of the time as well. And the worst part is when it just logs you out of your account and you cannot log back in because the nord VPN website is blocked.

    I tried to cancel a charge literally within 3 minutes of it appearing. I purchased a year subscription at the beginning of 2020. Stopped using it months ago. Contacted Nord within minutes of the resubscription charge this morning. No more than 4 minutes. Nord representative told me too bad. "No longer possible to order a refund." Believe that? Explain to me why a company that is based around securing technology doesn't the technological capability of issuing a refund!

    A VPN that never connects. I subscribed to a 3-year membership in December 2018, but it didn't work even 3 months. There are thousands of servers, but all of them are fake. You cannot connect to any of them. What's more annoying is that you need another VPN to log into your Nord account. The worst VPN I used.

    It was a great app, but then somewhere it was decided to change things for the worse. Now, the login is through the browser instead of the app (why should such a change ever be made?) and I often find, that it either does not auto connect, disconnects, or forgets the login - the last one I experience far most often. --- That is really a poor choice from Nords side. I doubt that Nord does not have the capacity to let users login through the app. Is this an attempt to cut corners?

    i have had this for a few months. what i notice is that my computer once i enable nord, it will work fine. but then sometimes my connection will go out. for nord and my wifi, even tho i check my wifi box and is working perfectly fine. this happens often and it's a nuisance. like, i guess nord eats up that much of my wifi connection?

    I've been using this app for over 2 years. Over time the usability got worse as when I close the app, it signs me out and next time I open the app and want to connect to the VPN I have to log in again. Logging in is slow, the app does some redirecting and recently it started using annoying captcha. When I need to use VPN on my phone I want to connect immediately. A separate issue is the VPN itself. Last time I traveled to China in late 2019, the app was not able to establish a connection.

    it is fast enough, but isn't very intuitive to use. The mobile app is better than the tv app, but i shouldn't have to go searching for a secondary place to select a specific area within a country to connect to. If i see a place to connect to a US server, i should also see where I can choose a server in Chicago, or New York in the same place. I shouldn't have to scroll down the page more. On the android tv app, if there is a place to find that option at all, I have still not found it.

    I thought this is the best VPN out there based on the reviews. But I was really really really wrong!!! It sucks!!!! Both in PC and Android!!! I don't know what's happening but the quick connect in both PC and Android is horrible!!! It can't connect!!! I have to disconnect, connect, disconnect, and connect again to make it work!!! I try waiting for 2 mins to connect but to no avail!!!! Also, after a while it suddenly disconnects even though you have an internet!!! Really regret buying this!

    I stated a play store trial for this, I had an email from Nord stating my subscription had been extended for 2 months, and stating I did not have an auto renew subscription. They charged me anyway again via Play and seem to think it's OK to do that. Shady practice is not a good angle from a company that is pushing a "security" platform.

    If I put my location as Dallas, my ip is in Georgia. If its in LA, my ip is in D.C. now none of my services or apps that I use think I have any internet connection and won't allow me to use them. Turn off the VPN and it runs as smooth as ever.

    Awful customer service. I cancelled my membership after one month and the cancellation process must have asked me about 3 times if I was sure I wanted to cancel. Then they send you an email to ask again, for the 4th time, if you are sure you want to cancel, and if you don't respond to the email your membership stays active. They continued to bill me, when I told them I cancelled they just said "sorry, nothing we can do" Absolutely Insane there are so many confirmations to cancel

    The last update has tanked everything. Nothing works on any android device now. Desipte the one and only response/suggestion from customer service not working and no further answers/fixes (going on 5 days), even with descriptions and screenshots. Ticket (ID #7634475) as requested. Had to roll back to an old version on my latop. No android devices work with the required website login. I replied 12 Feb @ 0827 my time. There was no follow up after that. Suggestions didn't. Thus the review I left.

    The service used to be great, until they changed the way you login on the Android app, and the Windows app. Why in the name of Christ was it changed to redirect you from the app to a webpage to login?!?! It defeats the purpose of the apps, takes infinitely longer to log in, and makes it impossible to connect over WiFi if the nordvpn website is blocked! Absolute shambles. Why hasn't this been reverted already?!

Then when you can eventually get logged in after waiting what feels like a decade you simply get a account info screen but are still unable to use your VPN. Waste of money and waste of time. I have spent hours trying to get it to work and never does.

    Nord was great till a fee months ago, now its really gone down hill, some features are no longer avaliable such as all the specalty servers except for P2P which is not optamized for P2P because it always connects to a server in another continet, cant be signed in on multiple devices at the same time, very vulnerable to attack now with browser based sign in and i have talked to support answer everytime is "we've been having trouble with that lately and dont know why please wait for next update"

It now only works on my phone and now my writing has come to a stand still and rendered my tablet useless. I can't get support. It keeps wanting me to change my password. And I am sick of it.     Update as of 25/02/2021. Login is STILL broken. It will not log into my account after several attempts and i have tried on multiple devices. Your website also won't even load up so I'm unable to even fix my account with you. It appears multiple people are having this problem so it's clearly an ongoing issue with your login service. Please arrange for this to be fixed it's very frustrating that I cannot use a service I have paid for because your login system is faulty.

    Does not work at all on my android tablet. The people working on the help chat were completely lost and confused, no help at all! They suggested I should take a course on computers, I think they got it backwards. There is no phone help, which means if you are disabled with respect to hands or arms ( as I am) you somehow need to type long, detailed answers and questions, which cause me a great deal of pain. The same contact by phone would take 1/10th the time and be much more helpfull!!!

    It doesn't connect automatically even thought it is set up to do so. Also, apps will not open when it is connected. Plus, we thought it was suppose to keep our credit card info and sites we visited safe and kept from others. This doesn't seem to be the case. I wonder what we are being protected from. Not sure we'll renew when it comes up for renewal.

    Worthless app won't let me delete my previous review, so I will try this method. Got a new replacement phone and tried to install app. Same phone as the first one, but this time disabling cyber security didn't work. Won't connect to a server at all. Should have checked out all of the negative reviews before I paid for this app. Note: this phone is an android 9 phone. I do have an android 10 phone that it does work on, so its not a total waste.

    Recently servers aren't working on all my devices. After the update was launched, I haven't been able to connect to any servers. There's times when it allows to connect but its very rare for that to happen now days. I'm basically paying for a service that isn't doing what it supposed to be doing. Keep in mind that switching protocol doesn't work either.

    I encountered several annoying issues with NordVPN both on iOS and Windows. NordVPN: 1. Did not start (Windows); 2. Caused key chain problems (No other app did that, NordVPN did it twice); 3. Performed slow (5 and 3 Mbps for download and upload, respectively). The problems were (partially) solved by following the advise of NordVPN's live chat. 4. Stopped running in the guest accounts on Macbook. Hoping to avoid such flaws, I'll surely give another app a try once my plan expires.

    I paid for an app I can't use at all. They basically stole my money and are holding a middle finger to my face. It's really not that difficult to back track that awful update. If a major portion of your customer base can't even use the functionality of the thing your selling, you should probably take that seriously and not redirect them to customer service like it will actually fix something. That and I shouldn't have to change my default browser for it to work.

    Nord, as a VPN, is great. The price is great. I love how flexible the service can be. HOWEVER, Nord recently changed its log in protocol from local (the app on your device accepts your username and password) to having you go to the Nord website itself. This would be a super minor annoyance, unless you live in a country that blocks VPNs. To log into Nord on my phone or tablet, I now need use ANOTHER VPN to log into Nord. Come on, you can do better.

    Terrible update leaving me unable to login. Used to work fine on my android TV box. New update takes you from the app page to a web browser login page. Once successfully logged in it says close the web page and go back to the app. However, the app still just sits there waiting for you to login so you are caught up in a continuous cycle trying to login????

Closed everything, go back to the App, it will require to log in again and again and again and again, this cycle will continue forever. I just did for more than 10 times. Restart the phone, trying to log in again, still the same. You pay for a service that you cannot use. what is the point. STUPID APP. Think twice if any of you wish to subscribe for this service.

    Very user unfriendly. Constant logout with persistent cache issues that clearing and different browser doesn't resolve. Takes a long long time to connect. Doesn't have a favourite location, very bad design. Also almost never works on PC! I wish i could get my money back!!!!

    Nordvpn is trash. I will not be renewing my subscription. Switching protocols does not work to reconnect. Update broke some features. I can't pause and then reconnect after. I also can't refresh to another connection if the current one is slow. I have to force stop the app in order to do anything. It also tells me connection failed. I didn't have any issues before the update. It will only turn back on if I force stop the app and open it again.

    Recently the app just dies and has a spinner. Even thought the connection shows as active, it doesn't work. Opening the app it's just frozen. Only way is to force stop it, clear the cache and restart. Incredibly frustrating if you're relying on it for security.

    Keeps crashing. One successful connection that was up for max 3 seconds. Any interaction with the in-app map crasges the app too. No enlarging, moving around and even touching the map allowed. Instant crash. Edit: All the protocols tested. No real difference. Cache cleaned, app reinstalled. Nothing doing :/

ADDED: In response to NordVPN for more clarity, I switched over from IPVanish because I am stationed in Japan and that VPN (even with obfuscation) was being detected and blocked by services like HBO Max. Nord fixed that problem for my Fire TV. However the over-simplification of the app for both Fire TV and Windows takes away many of the modifying features I had with IPVanish. Simple is good however, for more advanced users, it is frustrating. I'd say more but out of space.

    Stay away from this VPN as they have terrible and dodgy services. After reporting the slow speed and connection issues on all my devices (laptop, android TV box, smarthphones, tablets..) I received a ticket (ID #7746758) on 27 Fed. I have been told to do a lot of things such as changing protocols, custom DNS, doing DNS leak tests and speedtests with screenshot, exporting the NordVPN application activity log and so on, but ending up with nothing to be solved until now. The speed and connectivity is significantly slow and inconsistent. I realised what I was asked to do is unnecessary as I am sure that they must know what's wrong with their app and system. They actually are looking ways to avoid their responsibility and trying to blame their mistakes/faults on the customers. I already proved to them with my clear evidence that there is nothing wrong from my side as I just signed up for another VPN for 1 month trial (ExpressVPN), did the same speedtests on all my devices without changes in the setting and surprisingly found out that the speed and connectivity are very much faster and more consistent than NordVPN. Please try Express VPN, you will see a big difference in their services. In addition, over the past three weeks, I've sent a lot of emails and chatted three times with NordVPN help center, but it's totally helpless. They seem not to listen to/ respect their customers, keep telling a lie and making empty promises. I've checked all the user reviews in Feb/Mar on their app and surprisingly found out that not only me, but most of the others are now experiencing the same issues with NordVPN. Nothing has been properly fixed or improved till now. That's why they are receiving a lot of negative feedback. I have been with NordVPN just about 1 year out of 3 years subscription, but quite disappointed with their horrible services at present. To R.L "Thanks for your reply today. What is the point doing troubleshooting when I proved it's fine from my side with connection to ExpressVPN ??? Please give me a honest answer. I emailed you on 13 Mar and chatted with the supervisor on 16 Mar to ask for a solution on this issue. One can have 6 devices operating at one time. There is no app for apple TV. occasionally Netflix detects that VPN is being used on firetv. just clear cache or reboot and hopefully nordvpn finds a different server

    Was pretty good until they started using the 8000 series access points, now everything is in Arabic. Nord kept saying it was my browser until I toldthem it does it with 4 different browsers, then said it was my computer settings until I let them know it does it on 2 different PCs and 2 phones, now they say it's Google. Sounds like they don't want to take responsibility or try to even address the issue, just pass the buck. I will try to get them to resolve one more time before I Cancel!

    I dont even know what to rate this. So far, I cannot cast to my tv when this is running. Why does a VPN not allow me to cast my device to the TV? I also only got this for one other reason and it didn't pan out in my favor. I dont need to hide my IP address or anything. I wanted to watch a Canadian show, which no longer exists on Netflix. It went from America viewing to Canada only. Now nothing. So not really Nord's fault but now just useless to me. The TV thing really irritates me.

    Nord vpn is ok and the speeds are good. However I've been automatically logged out of my nvidea shield twice, windows 10 once and my android phone probably 4 times. The login procedure is also a bit annoying, it would not bother me at all if Nord kept me logged in at all times. Yes I have contacted support about this issue also. Left PIA because they can't be trusted anymore but I never had to keep logging back in like I do with Nord VPN.

    I am not sure what happens but the connections for all Vietnam vpn servers are slow or not connecting as fast as before... To make things worse, nordvpn team didn't check the reason why and consistently ask me to do level 1 troubleshooting. Come on nordvpn, my backup vpn vyprvpn is giving me a good speed so far... Updates on 08 Mar 21: After going through all the IP leak and DNS leak test across my 3 ISP services, the issue remains consistent (slow download and connectivity speed). I have already reinstalled the application from my Android devices, to mac OS and to windows system. All are giving me the same results. It is quite disappointing when you pay 3 year subscription fee and you get hit on the issue 6 months after you pay for it. Updates on 14 Mar 21:NordVPN support team, I am not sure what you are trying to get me to as I am having 3 different ISP services giving me consistent test results. Observed what your customer has already done from the screen shots. As an IT network engineer myself, the most basic level troubleshooting is not a problem to me at all. Don't tell me that you want me to set up a wireshark to capture information, as this is not helpful when other VPN companies providers do not have issues at all. Just to be clear that the port testing using powershell is working successfully to your nord DNS servers (port 53) and there is no blocking observed. The new observation I have is that minutes after using a particular server, my streaming gets disconnected and the next time when i try to connect it. That server previously was connecting to is no longer available for selection. so why?

Worked fine 3 weeks ago but now 3 of us with separate accounts and using sperate internet services don't have access to any of the above. Have spent hours communicating to every Australian VPN and none work even with changed VPN protocols. Save your money and avoid.

    Since the approx 1/21/21 update I have been running into an issue when I leave the house and return. The app does not reconnect correctly and basically stops all traffic (through cell or wifi) until I initiate a quick connect by holding the icon, or restart my phone. When I open the app I just get a spinning circle. Never had this issue before that update that I can recall.

    As of the date of this post, Nord really is the best VPN available. All critical areas are top notch or very satisfactory. However this new login setup is the brain storm of an idiot. I cant log in. I'm in a loop. Its a cluster F. Who on earth implemented this and why. If you want to authenticate put in a 2FA like Surfshark. Too much thinking can screw things up sometimes. If this isn't fixed im sure many will just leave to surfshark.

    My experience is by far is the worst compared to others: Roughly 2 weeks ago, internet has been periodically cut off, and my phone heated up so much it even forced shut down once. Not until today i checked the battery usage and nord has been using 13 times more than the next app. I disabled it and now internet is back up and it doesnt heat up anymore.     It's one of those VPNs that is much faster in the trial period but short after you subscribe it becomes slow. They lure ppl into subscribing, and I'm stupid bc I subscribed for a year.     If you lose your WiFi connection momentarily the NordVPN client has problems. Even though the wifi comes back, your VPN tunnel is dead and won't pass traffic. You have to disconnect and reconnect to get it to pass traffic. Edit: I have Auto-connect configured when this happens, so that's not the fix.

    Used to be a good app, but it's degrading on daily basis. They dropped trusted networks, which makes auto-connect hard to use. You are constantly forced to re-login, which is both annoying and requires you to login before the connection is secure. And on top of that you need to pass CAPTCHA! So you need to go through 2 pages of tiny images, figuring out which contains a bicycle, or a bridge (if images actually open). Ridiculous. Windows app sometimes takes minutes to load and has other bugs. And yes, I contacted with support. Was told, it has to be that way. I had been paying for NordVPN for several years and recommended it to many people, but definitely looking for alternative, when my current subscription ends.

    Do not like the new update at all! Redirects you to a browser to sign in, as opposed to keeping it centralized in an application. Also, in update log it talks about the fixes they made such as: "fixed the internet thief" now I've had to uninstall the app because it keeps preventing me from connecting to the internet when VPN is off. Both Android and Windows 10. I think it's a configuration issues in the code related to "Always on VPN" and "Auto connect at start up". Only does it on home network.

    I've been using Nord for years. Everything has been fantastic until recently when their app stopped working. It seems that Verizon is blocking their VPN protocol. Their work around was to use another VPN app called strongSwan and setup the service manually with an IPSecv2 connection. Going this method is less secure because the Cyber SEC security feature which was advertised does not function. It's not Nord's fault, however their lack of urgency seems problematic.

    Have had this app for two years. Before i got it, i had scarely well targeted ads. Now i get ads for pregnancy tests. Which is halarious cos im a dude. So it appears to be working. Reminder though to check the privacy policy of the apps your using and the permissions u give them. A vpn one part maintaining your privacy. Signal (for encrypted sms) duckduckgo and simple apps are the other main bases to get covered. Nord security app also is useful. For noting apps that sell my data.

    This app starts up when you turn your phone on , draining the battery when not needed but doesn't auto connect to trusted networks unless you tell it to in the settings. So if you don't check you could be online without a vpn. Nord have set the app up really badly, when I first installed it a few years ago it didn't start up when the phone was turned it only started up & connected when you went online, which is how it should be. A real deal breaker for me, shopping around when my time elapses.

    nothing works properly when u use the VPN app, you need to disconnect to connect to apple tv or Google chrome, to use apple music, many sites simply won't work and the pain in the butt security pictures "fit the car" then "find the fire hydrant" then "find the crossings" always come up. The web version continually comes up asking for my password over and over and had to be uninstalled. IMO another$89 USD down the drain.

    Latest update is the most incompetent thing I have ever seen. You now have to log in through there website to log in to the app. First problem is you have to do a captcha every time to log on. Sadly, it didn't work, but I believe that is simply due to my school, and not the service it's self. When I went to customer service, they were fast and understanding when I asked for a refund.     the latest release requires user to disable kill switch in order to login otherwise the phone will just sit there without internet connection. seems related to their latest use of web interface for logging in. changing for the bad and not user friendly at all. plus users are exposed during the time of logging in when kill switch is disabled.

    Worst VPN on the market. I get logged out randomly and the process to try to log back in takes around 15-20 minutes if it even works at all. I've contacted the "customer support center" and all they know how to do is uninstall and reinstall or try on another browser. Nord used to be great but their service has gone down the toilet.     Free week was blazing, but once I paid for the subscription it killed my Internet. I can barely use anything whilst this is on, it is most frequently turned off to allow me to use my phone in any way. No IP calling, no social media, no regular browsing works whilst this is on. I'm very disappointed. Tried to change protocols, tried different locations, but in the end this was rendering my devices unusable. As I said, first free week was great, after i subscribed it became totally useless.

    Loved it till I tried setting up two factor authentication. They force you to download NordPass even if you don't use it, then they refuse to use texting they make you download ANOTHER 2fa app, then 2fa doesn't even work. Just log right in with your email and password.

    Since downloading your update the app has been unusable. The app has had me jumping through hoops to get it to work. Uninstall, Install, tap pictures of boats, tap pictures of bikes, change password etc. Tried multiple times over the weekend. While buffering for an eternity you get to read how quick and easy it is. I bought a new phone because I thought that might be the problem. Still the same. What a rip-off. Paid 90 quid for THIS.

    Worst app ever.What the hell is that "Successful login and return to app" then it shows 404 error and showing try login again and then repeating like a loop and i tried with different browser like chrome and others.Those didnt work too.Eventually it shows 429 too many request and login process doesnt work anymore.The worst app lol.

    As I said before this app is just a waste of money, making things worse than better. I've bought it many times giving them another chance to improve their service but it's just evolving backwards, worse and worse. Now I can't log into the app and it's been 3 days if not more already, I can't even contact them in any form because their website won't open. I'm paying 13 or 14$ a month for what? For an app which won't even let me log in. I'm using this only on my phone cuz on pc it's worse.

    Keeps getting blocked, doesn't work a lot of times. Now that it asks you to login through their website (which is blocked) you can't even log in. I'm sure they are aware of this issue but can't keep patching it. Obfuscated servers are pointless. They don't work and can't send/receive data. For now I'm unable to login and can't see myself renewing once it expires. Edit: Tried this but tried again now and it worked after 6 goes. Hopefully it doesn't log me out any time soon.. still very slow..

    Whilst I was certainly enjoying using NordVPN for awhile. On mobile I have been unable to connect for about a month. When I attempt to sign in on my phone via the app I am redirected to a sign in screen where I can input my details just fine, but the loading sequence afterwards never completes. If it were not for this problem the review would certainly be higher.

    i got it to work. it's a little harder than other apps I've downloaded to download probably for technical reasons. But i got it to work and I'm happy I got to see my Blackhawks lose in 3rd period. I have 3 hours experience. I had to try 3 times and be patient to download. It could be it's popularity or something.

    Did not allow me to watch Amazon Prime video like they told it would, and only after reading through support, they tell "you need both VPN and an account in that region." To make matter worse, cut my connection speeds to a 5th of their usual speeds in average, worst cases, down to less than 1 mbps.

    New web login fails using Opera on Android, works with Chrome. Not properly tested? Amazingly fast VPN service. A few niggles. Don't bother with the very expensive fixed IP address; you can't use it for incoming connections as it doesn't support port forwarding. Customer service via chat is very good, they sorted out all of my issues politely and competently. They also honoured the 30 day money back offer with no quibbles, so feel free to try it out and see if it meets your needs.

    Horrible. Couldn't get things updated on the phone and figured out that it was this app. Uninstalled and now everything works. A few apps wouldn't work on PC either and since there was no split feature on PC app, it's useless. Just go elsewhere.

    Downgrading 5 to 2. Was a great app but recently having trouble to connect websites or apps that were accessible before. App shows connected to USA servers but actually connected to servers located in German or other countries!! This is weird.

    I wonder whose idea was to make the log in web based! Many of your customers are living behind governmental proxies and we simply can't login anymore because the login webpage is filtered! I have to use another vpn to login to my Nord account. Also it take ages to connect specially on PC. I just tried a few free unknown VPNs and I had none of these problems! Although the DL speed is not as good as Nord. Me and my friends were your customer for a long time, not anymore.

    What are you guys doing. Random disconnects without warning, have to log in every time you open the app, slows to a crawl at times. Desktop version is lightyears better than this cruddy app. Fix your app ffs.

    Login process has become terrible experience. I had to clear caches and uninstall the app to make it working again. Very bad job NordVPN team, you are making your users suffering. Please spend mote time on testing your product next time when rolling out new features.

    The worst app I have ever used. The service on desktop is perfect but the app in unusable. It just refuses to log me in. It even says "login successful you can now return to the app" and when I return to the app I'm not logged in.

    The application has always had some slight problems on pc, but now it just outright does NOT work. I've had this happen on 2 computers and it would appear that a recent Windows update broke Nord's functionality. Reinstalling has not worked and I can see one of Nord's background processes just dying over and over. When you launch the app, nothing even pops up sometimes. 2/8/21 : Nord continues to find new ways to be a huge inconvenience and not work as it should. You guys are doing great work!

    Good VPN. Only issue is that some of the locations are wrong. For example, I connected to the Japan VPN, but for some reason it was actually connected to China? Kind of annoying, but not that big of a deal.

    Want to change the email on your account? Be sure you have the card you used to sign up. Oh, you got a multi-year membership a year ago and you got a new card since then? Hopefully you remember the last four digits and the expiration date of the old one. You don't? Now you have to CALL YOUR BANK to change your email. Hopefully you don't forget your password. UPDATE: Also won't let me close account. It's a scam service if you have to call your bank to close a non-banking account.

    Latest update on my Android TV has logged me out. When I try to log back in it takes me to a webpage to log into Nord Account. I enter the code, log in on my laptop and then enter the 4 digit code shown on my TV. It just stays stuck there and nothing happens. After restarting my TV twice it has finally logged me in but rather than taking me back to the app to pick a server, it has taken me to the My Account page. It won't let me go back to the app and if I reopen the Nord App it asks me to Sign In again. Whole process repeats. Absolute shambles - Sort it out! Update: Just spent 1.5 hours with tech support and they can't get it to work. I have been advised to use it on my phone and connect via an HDMI cable. Ridiculous.

    Every update lately seems to make the app worse and now more than half the times open the app I have to close and re open the app to stop getting the not connected to internet error. End of my contract is up soon and my be switching after 6 years because of this apps unreliability.

    Latest update is a disaster. Cannot log in 99 percent of the time, as the app/site will time out, and even when successfully signed in, there is no way to go from the account page to the server selection / connection menu. Already paid for subscription upfront and support staff not able to help resolve the issue. Not ok. Ticket Reference: 7598068

    I downloaded the app on my mobile in December. The first few weeks were fine but it logged me out a couple of months ago and I'm unable to log back in. I've used two different browsers now. Definitely a waste of nearly £50!

    I had rated this 5 star, unable to log into my account that I have already paid for, so no vpn access. Directs you to a Web page which times out and the app remains logged out so no vpn access at all. Live help was of no use either, was more interested in getting me off the live help page more than actually helping me fix the connectivity issue.

    Updated Review: I had my problems with this VPN early on, failure to connect to servers was the biggest one. This was the fully paid version too. However, since those problematic months; I've been using the VPN and haven't had any of these issues again. Seems those problems are in the past for me as it's been working flawlessly ever since! I'm very happy with the VPN, I'm changing my rating from 2☆ to 4☆. I'd give it 5☆ if I knew the past issues where truly in the past for everyone.

    It was excellent for a while, but then when I connected to vpn ,didn't work correctly ,now I can't sign in when I click sign in ,Takes me to another page where it says you logged in but I did not log in when I returned to the app

    Trash customer service. They do not care about you AT ALL. I Signed up for the free trial to try it out and then as soon as I signed up, THE CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION BUTTON DISAPPEARED. Ive tried on multiple occasions on the app AND website won't let me cancel. I figured I'd take my L and pay the stupid $17 fee. BUT THEN THEY AUTO RENEWED ME WITHOUT MY APPROVAL. I asked for a refund but they wouldnt give one to me. This is absolutely unacceptable and an extremely scummy way of running a business👎

    Paid for 3 year subscription got 1 year. They were promoting 3 years offer paid for it and started getting expiry email after a year. Customer service couldnt explain why i paid 115 bucks for 1 year and not 3 year offer . In a whole dont lose your money on fake promotions Disappointed

    Already slow on all formats. Recent updates fails altogether. Spent 2 hours on chat to be told to reinstall. Which obviously failed to login to their website aswell. Guy wanted me to continue "troubleshooting", as if I was being paid by NordVPN to solve their issues. Was told refund had gone past 30 days. I have wasted a 3 year subscription!! So they sell a product on 3 year subscriptions, turn it off after 31 days. No refund. Great business plan.

    Good VPN, bad app. First, I am asked to re-enter my login *and* password frequently (likewise on PC btw). And then the login process became over complicated recently : it opens a third party browser to prompt IDs. And eventually it doesn't work... why not keep things simple ? Can't use the service on my phone.
