    This has been the best weight loss experience for me. I paid for the app, which I rarely do, and I have lost more weight than 2 years paying dues at the gym. Even with the stress of quarantine! I'm female, 54 and thought I was stuck at the (over)weight that had crept up on me over the years. If you want to take the time to LEARN about why you feel stuck, and make REAL longterm progress at weight loss, this program is AMAZING.

    noom healthy weight Awesome app for weight loss! Built upon psychology, this course really helped me. My only complaints were: 1. Not as many vegan options as I would have liked 2. Its scripts are mostly written for people in an office environment. As a SAHM, I couldn't relate to many of the scenarios that were outlined. I've been doing it for one month exactly and I've already lost 5 pounds!

    noom healthy weight program I have loved a lot of the reading, no question there has been a lot that I have processed and will always be of huge help in the future. Other than that I have struggled, I have never had any luck keeping the app connected to my walking device, I've struggled with the calorie charts because they need updated to the food calories on the packaging, the bar code rarely works. When I have reached out it's not been very helpful. Not certain if I plan to renew after 4 months previously paid.

    noom healthy weight program reviews This is my second time using Noom and just like last time, it works so much better than I expected! My body really responds to this kind of weight loss/get fit program and I am loving it. There are a few things that could use improvement--a searchable food database without having to "log" it, a few typos. But overall, this method works. It's education and awareness, the most powerful way to effect change.

    noom healthy weight program cost I went through the questionnaire and paid a small fee for the supposed free trail. It directed me to download the app, which I did. Then it made me do the questionnaire all over again and asked me to pay again. When I contacted support, instead of trying to resolve the issue and get my account synced up, they just refunded what I paid and cancelled my trail. Don't waste your time with this app!!! I was really looking forward to trying this concept and it is anything but a free trail.

    noom healthy weight range It is a great program. I would give it a 4.5 if I could. I have had problems with the pedometers accuracy (it goes up when I am driving but varies depending upon which hand I am holding it in). Also, I would like to be able to edit food choices easier from my already logged foods. But I do like the message and it is keeping me engaged so far.

    noom coach health & weight I rated this app at a 3 for a few reasons. I will start with the positive first...The information/lessons are very good. I've been able to change my thinking and behavior as well as can new habits related to health, eating, stress, etc... from what I have learned and put into practice. The app itself is problematic: the food database is incorrect most of the time causing a lot of extra time tracking food, you cannot use the app on multiple devices, plus many other significant issues.

    I installed and uninstalled this app twice on my Galaxy S8. Maybe it's an older device and that's why it didn't work, but it crashed my device twice, causing it to automatically restart every time I tried to use it. Frustrated, I gave up and forgot about it. Then the company charged me $99 for a subscription. The only way to cancel is through the app. I had to reinstall, uninstall, and reinstall again and it finally worked, but they won't refund my money since the trial had ended.

    I have only been doing this program from 4 or 5 weeks and it is easily the best "diet" I have ever considered. For me, I knew dieting was never the answer but adjusting how you ate was. My problem was getting there without feeling like I'm being told I can't do or have something and even knowing what was ok to eat an abundance of. With Noom, you get a goal specialist to help you with one small change at a time, you pick your learning style (stern v encouraging), and you get a supportive group.

    I've lost more weight with this app than I ever did going to the gym! Easy to use. Lots of great information to help you. I love the food analysis option... Tells me what I should be eating more of! Not restrictive at all. I lost 3 lbs in the first week, 10 lbs in the first month (with no exercising). Others have lost more who incorporate exercise! Moral support from group members and your personal coach. Totally worth it !!

    Great experience with the psychological part helping you to reevaluate how you look at food. The logging of foods needs some work, the personal trainer/coach doesn't check in very much, personally there's a lot of unnecessary daily readings. I get that they're trying to be funny which is okay at times but it's almost like dad jokes. If it was more informative then that would be different, however the unnecessary articles need to be weeded out there's not enough time in the day for all that.

    Easy to use, encouraging, helpful lessons and quizzes. I would appreciate a seperate section to log water as its difficult to keep track of with out reviewing each food log. The calories are not always correct, and you have to adjust the amount you consume so the calorie amount is correct. You are able to report inaccuracies, however i have not seen any corrections.

    I can't believe I downloaded this app, used it once, and realized a year later it was automatically charging me over $300!! I had no idea and can't afford this awful thing. To cancel your subscription you need to have the app installed, text your personal coach you'd like to cancel, and then they send you a link confirmation. Wow what a waste of money.

    Overall a good experience. The calorie counts aren't always accurate, however. The app said that plain pulled pork was 180 calories per cup. That didn't seem accurate so I looked it up and it's closer to 275. I have found discrepancies with other foods too . Nevertheless, the overall concept of green, yellow, and red foods plus the calorie count is extremely helpful for me. I have also connected with someone in my group and we encourage each other daily. Most success I've had in a long time.

    Pros: 1. Easy weight tracking. It gives you real time tracking toward your weight goal 2. Tracking foods and meals is easy. It really does make you aware of how many and what kind of calories you're eating Cons: 1. Information is presented with so many (parentheses) and #hashtags (#NoomLovesHashtags) as to be distracting 2. The 'coaches' only offer canned responses. I think they're bots 3. You can't create a recipe and add it to the database. All ingredients must be tracked individually

    Having a great time using this app! Very easy to use. Love that it tackles psychological issues with weight loss as well as other key points. Only downside is it does not have a lot of Canadian food for logging but Noom makes it easy to log it into the system. Great job!     Very good app, but there's space for improvement: • Noom allows for somewhat aggressive, fast-paced weight loss. They don't underline how important it is for you to only lose 1.5 lbs per week or LESS for a sustainable diet. • Color coding is misleading: necessary, healthy dense foods can be "red". I wish they were labeled "blue" calories or anything not associated with negative feelings. • Database is not very reliable and doesn't include non-american food. External research is required.

    I really love this app! It has changed the way I think, feel, and use food and exercise in my life. Everything is psychology and science-based, which I love! I have never been able to stick to a "diet" to lose weight before for longer than a week, maybe two, but I'm on week 7 of Noom, I have already lost over 10 pounds, and still going strong! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the app itself has some really minor glitches here and there, particularly with the messages section.

    Edit: I was refunded promptly 🙏 I'm torn. First off, I really really like this app! It has been easy to use and has helped me lose weight. I also thought that $24 a month was reasonable so I kept it going after the 2 week trial. Fast-forward a few weeks, when I realize I got what I needed out of the app, and went to cancel, and realized hey charge you 6 months at a time. I'm sure I could've read that somewhere, but I missed it. I just don't feel they were up front about this.

    I've already lost 5 pounds in the 1st week! At least give the free trial a shot and then decide. If you like quizzes and fun facts and to-do lists (like myself) then this is perfect for you! And honestly I really haven't changed that much in my diet. Just becoming aware and losing weight quickly has been my motivation. Paying for 2 months instead of the 4 month commitment and I'll let y'all know how it goes!

    Great psychology insights, but could be better - the following improvements would be great: 1) Ability to easily refer back to the goals/big picture. Currently, you fill those in, and then they just get saved (aka lost) somewhere and it's hard to remember what I wrote on day 1, 8 weeks out. 2) Better food database. Even better, an integration with MyFitness Pal. Currently no way to quickly reuse previously logged foods , meals, or recipes. You have to look up each food or ingredient- inefficient

    I've done all sorts of different diets in the past. Never paid for anything and always on my own, using "research" from friends and the internet. I've tried to log my food using other apps. Nothing ever worked that well. I am 1 week into using Noom and down 7 lbs. This is the first time I've successfully logged everything I eat. It's changing my thinking also. I've caught myself checking how many calories are left before I get seconds at dinner or to help decide what kind of snack to have.

    I really like that this app and program focus on psychology and habits. Every day there are short articles to help you improve and keep you accountable. Focusing on my lifestyle and not just another fad diet has made this a game changer for me. I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because the app doesn't sync with my Samsung smartwatch and the scanner in the food database isn't very sensitive.

    I've been on it a week and so far I love it. I never realized how even healthy foods can contribute to weight gain! I am learning better food choices and how to plan if I want something that's unhealthy ie something sweet or an alcoholic drink. I do agree with the other reviewers that the app itself needs work and I was Disappointed when It took almost 2 days for my "coach" to get back to me. I will update my review as I progress.

    I had looked at this app in the past and really didn't think it much different than any other. Then a friend of mine was using and getting great results. My first assessment of the app was so wrong. It really has changed the way I think of a diet. I have tried Adkins and Keto and always felt dissatisfied with the food I could eat. Never lasted long on those diets. This diet is different. You get to eat normal food. All the things you like. You just have to watch your calories. It's amazing.

    I've used this app for years and loved it but now when I do more and start my walking or bike riding it doesn't calculate my miles, calories, GPS, my track... None of that.. It's all blank after I'm done my work out. That was the main thing I used on the app. Please fix because it is useless as it is now. I've Uninstalled and reinstall and still didn't help

    Wonderful, fun program for anyone, even me! If you need to lose a lot or a little, this is the way to go! I'm on my 7th week, lost over 10 lbs. and will continue...Great incentives, like a step keeper, monitors your steps all day, keeping up with the way you eat, logging in your meals and snacks, also fun reminders, information about health and challenges, try it, you'll Love it...

    It looks ok. Information is limited, foods are often listed incorrectly or missing, very restrictive low calorie diet recommended, the psychology and articles are ridiculously bad. Tracking weight and foods maybe helpful but there are free apps that do this. The price is ridiculous. If you do use this and cancel during your trial you'll be offered a reduced rate for one month.

    I've tried many apps or weight loss programs and nothing has been more engaging or helpful than Noom. Talking to real people, both coaches and others using the app, is super important to keep yourself accountable. Also all the education about creating a more healthy lifestyle as opposed to a 'quick fix' diet really sticks because it comes at you in little chunks every day. Awesome program!

    Overall I love noom, but the app could be better for tracking food. I find that several of the pre-entered recipes have errors (discription does not match the recipe). Also, i wish there was a feature to add recipes. I find that many foods in their database are inaccurate so I have to enter the calories manually rather than neing able to just choose 1 serving. Overall tracking food is not great compared to other tracking apps I have used.

    Terrible and unevolved health app. It's no more than a calorie counter with some articles attached. Like weightloss in the 80s. Doesnt tell you anything about the nutrients or micros and macros in your diet, despite logging all this info in your food diary! Lazy programming? And the coach is bot-like at best. And when I tried to unsubscribe after my £14 trial there is no way to do so in the app! I uninstalled and the next I heard I had been charged £75 for the full programme! Yay!

    I'm afraid as a UK user this doesn't work for me. Measurements are American cups etc and most foods in their database are US. Hardly any food bar codes scan. Non of the pep talk scrips have been translated for the UK with many US references that just don't work here... And it feels very juvenile and patronising in tone. I didn't really learn anything in the trial period that wasn't common sense. I'm afraid I won't be going forward to a paid plan. I'll go back to using My Fitness Pal!

    The app has great articles sent daily and is also good for tracking meals (although it only tracks calories not nutrition). Unfortunately the goal specialists and coaches only interact with you once a week or so and have very generic replies. The app is easy and fun to use though so Im sticking with it. If you ask for a monthly price its $20 CAD/ month

    Daily tracking is good. Software has many errors. Many days I am finding dduplicate lines in the communication. Info is OK, pretty much the same as other online services. The additional services are expensive for.what you get. Total cost is not.the good deal I originally thought, but the daily meal and weight tracking is useful.

    I've tried many programs. I'm still early days with Noom. But it is. By far, the best weight loss program I've done at the 4 week point. I'm never hungry. I'm losing weight. And the daily reading is interesting and entertaining. Well worth the small amount you pay. You'll save far more than Noom costs by giving up the fast foods and ice cream. I'll try to remember to update this when I'm farther down the road. But at 4 weeks in, it's an enthusiastic 5 stars from my diminishing self.

    I'm seeing a huge change after using Noom for only 5 days! The only challenges I've had so far are things others have said online: the food database is not as robust or accurate as other apps. This is a hurdle when first starting out. The devs can fix this by 1) allowing us to edit a db food's nutrition value when tracking it and 2) letting us flag food as incorrect to get the db updated globally. Other things I'd like: water tracker & ability to modify db recipe ingredients when tracking

    Great app that is very helpful in losing weight, however you can not input and save any recipes on Android. You can suggest one, which is what I have to do every week, but next time you want to use it, you have to do the same thing because it won't save it. You can on iPhone, but it's not like Android is a new thing. Get your programmers to work, you have enough money.

    This has helped me lose weight and keep it off. You can eat anything but with help from a goal coach and your team, daily short lessons, recipes, and food logging you will learn to make small changes one at a time until you are routinely eating healthily. I have enjoyed using Noom and it doesn't feel like a diet to me. Only downside is the step counter doesn't always work on my phone.

    Well worth it! Noom has been so helpful in my weight loss process. For me, Noom has worked better than any other weight loss program I have used. The only negative comment I have is regarding several of the list of food item calories, which are incorrect. Because of this you may see the same item listed a couple of times with different calories. You can add new items with calories so be careful with what you list. Still a great program.

    a good app and easy to keep up with but when there is a food that has yet to be logged in the app, it would be good if we could describe what's in the food (ingredients, measurements of ingredients) because sometimes if we make it ourselves it'll be different from the measurements placed already.

    Excellent content. Noom is the only nutrition system I've found that is about changing your thoughts, not just your behaviors - and helping you every step of the way. Very doable guidance. The UI could use some work - food logging is tedious with any app, and there's a few things Noom could do to make it less so.

    The most helpful tools Noom provides, that has helped in my weight loss, are the food logging journal (with associated calorie counter) & the short but effective daily education articles based on scientific research covering all aspects of the mind & body & weight loss. I have dieted a lot & have been surprised by the new information that Noom has given me to help not only with weight loss but, for me more importantly, maintenance of that weight loss. I also value the peer & specialist support

    Excellent app if you take it seriously and commit to the program. Has helped me understand eating and hunger better, and lose weight in a way that I feel is sustainable, without cutting out foods I love. In the last 7 days, I've eaten taco Bell Mexican pizza, qdoba chips and queso and a burrito bowl, Tim Hortons sour cream glazed donuts and a tres leches pancakes stack with syrup and butter from ihop and STILL lost 2 lbs thanks to portion control and eating techniques I learned from this app.

    I started Noom a week ago. I really like this path for weight loss. I am not hungry and I dont feel deprived. Everyday there is information and an look at what I have eaten and in what category it falls in. I have a "coach" that checks in with me and gives me an thumbs up or might ask a question so Noom can help me more. If you have tried and failed other programs I urge you to try Noom

    This app breaks down everything that I didn't even know I needed to know. Help me figure out what my long-term and all of my short-term goals and makes sure that I understand the physiological aspects of why I succeed, fail, or have trouble with food commitment. I also love how integrated it is. It connects to my Samsung health account and keep track of my steps, automatically adds 300 steps whenever I reach my step goal for the day, tracks workouts, and also sends reminder for meals.

    Noom is REALLY great. (I have a free trial and wish I could continue after that.) I've used other apps and failed. I've been overweight my whole life. Noom is different, they don't focus on something negative you done - (i.e: turning a macro red because you went over by 1.) Noom celebrates what you done right - you ate more fruits and veggies, met your step goal, etc. It's different and its motivating. I love reading my new "steps" each morning, it's the first thing I do. I've lost 5lbs so far.

    It works. Losing 10 lbs a month the healthy way. I can still eat whatever I want, in moderation. It is important to have a scale to weigh yourself daily, and helpful to have a food scale (grams or lbs. & oz.) to weight some foods during meal preparation.

    I love the Noom app. Educates & gives helpful insight on the psychology of why we do what we do. Can use that information to make healthy lifestyle choices. Love the one in one coaching and the food color system definitely is insightful. Pretty clever (and humorous) daily lessons as well. I'm just in week 2 but feel highly motivated to lose weight and have better health. In the Covid19 era, not much could be more important.

    I love it!! The way they have you track food is different from other apps I have used. It actually works. I lost 7 lbs the first 2 weeks!! I'm still surprised when I step on the scale and the weight remains down. I also love the support of the coach and group.

    Am losing weight! Great programme which is more like a psychology course, but helps you to examine how and why you eat how you do, with hints, tips and tasks to help you change. Good support via a group and a coach. The app works well, allows you to log food and has a comprehensive food library. Exercise can be logged, height n weight and daily cals count down as you add food. I would recommend this app if joining the Noom programme.

    I was sceptical at first if this would really work or if it was just a big waste of money. But 8 weeks later and 15lbs down. I've been telling literally everyone about this. It's not as much weight loss as it is teaching you how to have a healthy relationship with food. I think everyone should be doing this, it should be taught in school. Everyone can benefit for it!

    This app has taught me so much without making me feel like a guilty idiot. Incredibly helpful. Did you know that a serving of Jameson is only 1.5 oz? That was a bit of an eye opener. Also, it's not just about overall calorie counting, but does a very good job teaching you WHAT to eat to fill up those calories. I've lost about 15 lbs after a month of use.

    This has been the best, by far, weight loss program I've ever done. My husband, daughter, son (is joining soon), and I are in this together. It's more of a life changing journey than a weight loss program. Of course we're losing the weight but also learning how to eat better and healthier. Reading the articles every day is very helpful and explains things that I'm feeling. Sharing helps out to. My daughter and I were shopping yesterday and found the bar code scanner. AWESOME.     I use the Noom app much of the day and every day. It is a little sluggish on my older android but that's the low point. Good features. Well structured daily tasks. Good ancillary resources laughable from the app. Plus communications with your coach and group. It does a lot and does it well.

    I am losing weight. I have lost 20lbs at the end of six weeks. I have a new relationship with food and that informs my decisions every day. I like the information. I collect data and synthesize. It's how I process. I am not a huge fan of the attempts to be cute, with all the hashtags and nerd references and I would be a higher score without the noise

    It's a useful tool with a TON of information in it. It requires daily use and at least 10 mins of reading to acquire that info. It has it's own calorie counter. My only real issue is with this piece as not all of the info is accurate. You're able to flag incorrect food entries though, which is good.

    Noom is a fantastic help for those who have difficulty managing meals. I am 67 and have been on every diet imaginable. But Noom isn't a "diet", it's a way of life. The daily reading is on target, and the group support, and individual coaching is superb. I have been on for 19 weeks (the past month with no phone and no Noom 😪), and have lost at least 22 pounds.

    This is a total rip off. They would ask you to put the credit and start a trail for 1 dollar then you forget to login and today $159 was charged to my card. They claim it is for next 4 months. Why would I need for 4 months if I did not login a single day. This is straight RIP OFF.

    I have been having a great experience with noom. It's a program that helps reform your thinking around total health. Not so much pressure that it's a turn off, but enough pressure to help create a paradigm shift and help develop healthy and realistic lifestyle changes. Daily accountability, coaches, and groups are all helpful in keeping you engaged. It really doesn't that much time either. I really like it and highly recommend noom!

    Great for those with office jobs! The group setting is great, at least my group is and really they're your only support system because the goal specialist is nowhere to be found. Unless you enjoy taking 2-3 weeks to get a question answered.

    At first I wasn't totally on board, but it was the beginning of quarantine. I already had a bunch of food that I bought before lockdown. About one month in I was able to shop for better choices. I started to see good results, and the daily verbage had more meaning. Wish I had started before I went to shop for weeks of groceries in lockdown. I might be further along. It's slow going, but I am learning good habits. I don't feel deprived.

    Good to have the coach, both virtual and real. Noom trying to be cute and funny all the time with their coaching is growing pretty thin. Makes it seem pretty immature. Calorie tracking and activity tracking can all be done for free with other apps.

    I really like Noom a lot!! I enjoy the App and feel that it does what it should. It does glitch every other day where it doubles everything it's telling you. I love how it hooks up to my Renpho scale. Every morning I weigh myself and automatically puts it into Noom for me.

    The app crashes often, the program is mediocre at best with no real results. Been using it for 3 months lost 10 pounds two months in (because I stopped following their "program" and did my own diets) and no new results now that I'm back on their "program."

    This really sticks with you. The app makes it easy to log and the lessons take no more than 5-10 minutes a day. The direct connection to the group is cool. If I could add anything, it would be the ability to add my own recipes and get the nutritional info.

    Not the app for weight loss. I read an interesting article, answered a questionnaire downloaded the app just to start all over again with the long questionnaire and even still after that don't see how it could help... Definitely an error

    Noom is the first weight loss app that has actually worked. It is very informative and helps you change your relationship with food for a lifetime. I've lost 13 lbs in 4 weeks. I believe if you are committed with Noom, it works. Worth every cent.

    Do not sign up or use this app!!. I signed up for the trial period. The day the trial period ended I cancelled. It didnt work for me. They still charged me $129. I contacted them, asked for a refund. They said they would get back to me 2 hrs. Its now been 6 hrs no reply. This is a scam. Do NOT use it!!

    I'm loving this app but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let Android users have access to the recipe builder feature!! I home cook all of my meals and literally guess the ingredients in my serving. It's very cumbersome and knowing there is an easier way that I don't have access to makes me upset.

    I really like that all the lessons I learn are at my fingertips so if I need help it's there. The coaches are lots of help and it's great to have a calorie count of food before I eat it. Even my kids were impressed with my effort and I don't think I would be doing this well if it wasn't for Noom. Eat the food I like but you guys let me know how much I can have.

    This diet don't accept keto options and it is the same as the old diets: restrictions in calories. Considering high protein or high fat to be fat. Just like the old diets we know that won't work: Calories in calories out. Keto and tasting works way better.

    I have just started this program. What I have learned so far is that weight loss is not only exercise and counting calories but of a mind set. They have helped me see where I need to work on to lose the weight I have putted on over the years. Here is an update; In over a month and I have lost 15 lbs. But it's not so much the wiegh that I have lose. It is what I have learned. That you can lose weight, but you can do it the smart way.

    There are a lot of things to think about and consider when starting this program. It takes a little time each day and planning/thought given to your meals. However, if you are ready to find some answers to why you allow food to control your life this may be the program for you.     It's been a week & I really like it so far. There's a lot of helpful, interesting, educational material written into the app. I think this could be more effective in the long term than other weight loss/fitness programs I've participated in. I was just looking for a free meal planning app, but there's so much helpful lifestyle- mindset- habit-changing support and nutrition/shopping tips, etc, that I think I may buy the 4-mo. plan. Plus, it's fun & I like the graphics. And I've lost 3 lbs. :)
