I have been using the app for a few years and like it. I just got into the guided runs to become a better runner. I really liked the first two, they were very motivational. After that, none of the guided runs that I've downloaded have audio, which is super disappointing! I played around with both the settings on my phone and the app to see if something sound wise got messed up, but I couldn't find anything and the first two guided runs' audio still worked while the others didn't.

app It's a good app, I've been using it for the last days, but today unfortunately when I finished my run I had ran almost 12km and the app said I ran only 8km. I am sad because I was feeling motivated by the achievements and now I know it doesn't work well. I tried to contact the support, but it is a twitter account and I am not on twitter. It wasn't syncing my last run to my challenge too. Then, I tried to edit, but it didn't work.

  3. Allysa C-avatar

apple watch A decent app for what I need. I use it for the feedback on pace and distance while I'm running. There are some times the location does not track for no apparent reason. Reviewing the location and speed also does not quite match up sometimes.i also am very upset it does not connect with the fitbit app. Overall I have had very few problems. Its good for tracking my run.

speed run Exceptional experience! However, there is an error when combining Coaching programs with Challenges. The milages earned during Speed Runs (required in the coaching programs) do not count towards mileage in Challenges. I recently discovered this error and had lost over 50 miles being applied towards my Challenges. If this could be remedied, I would greatly appreciate the extra motivation! In fact, the gamification combined with the Nike community is my favorite aspect of the app.

  5. Dylan Largey-avatar

kosten I have lost 20 pounds in just 3 months of using this app, and ran over 250 miles! It's a great way to track your progress, and very motivating. It's also nice that you can see your friends scores too, as it adds a competitive edge to running, which can also be a motivating factor. Great app, and I have had zero issues and complaints.

benchmark Hello, I am Prakhar kureel I am a user of NRC and NTC since 2018. Yeah it's been two more than two and a half years i am using this app and it was really good . The only and I think it's a huge problem that gps is not working correctly . I might think that it not get linked to the app software correctly. I am having issues in this. The gps tracks the distance but, the app is not showing it. It definately count the distance by gps but it is not showing the track coverd during the run.

kostenlos Good for tracking your own run and connecting the app to the nike store. However, this isn't a good app to set challenges together with your friends. We have been having problem with seeing each other's leaderboards. I also have been having issues with setting plans, it keep saying connection issues when my connection is completely fine with other apps.

login This app is my only true friend that wants me to be my best at something. Love this app. After being a quality analyst i don't wanna mind about the bugs in it because of it's perfect, cool and a very attractive interface! But I analysed that the distance calculator shows a minute difference for the same distance if i run multiple times, that may needs to be addressed.

  9. Elaina P-avatar

strava This is everything I wanted out of a running app. I usually set goals and have trouble sticking to them, but after the first guided run I was hooked. I really feel like I want to stick to running and make it part of my routine and this app is really helping me! Very motivational and provides good instruction, and surprisingly free! I was expecting attached costs and was very relieved to find all the content was available without spendy money. Incredible app! 🏆

  10. Eddie Lovelace-avatar

garmin The guided runs are awesome. I wish there were more. The planned workouts are a little hard to understand, particularly how to execute them in the app, especially the speed runs. I looked for instructions but couldn't find any. I will keep using it, though, even if not for every run. Edit: the coaching from the guided runs is amazing. The regular runs are great other than custom speed runs. It can run along with my other tracking aids, too. Very grateful for this.

  11. Emily Rhine-avatar

I've been using this app for a few weeks now, and it is excellent tool for tracking my run. However, every time I try to build my own plan under "My Coach," I put all my info in, submit - and now this message pops up that says, "Connection Error, please try again." This has gone on for a week or so now, and I am so sad... Update (6/4): I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and it works amazing now (it has been a couple wks at least). This app has been a great tool!

  12. Andy Lona-avatar

While the interface and overall features of the app are great, especially when comparing runs. The fact that the NRC app absolutely cannot sync with my Google fit app is infuriating. I can't keep running with my phone on me, that's why I have a fitness tracker. It's fine that it's not supported by the NRC, but that means the integration with Google Fit should be seamless, but it straight doesn't work. If NRC can't sync with Google fit, then I don't have any other reason to use the app.

  13. Ahmed Haque-avatar

This is an incredibly good running app. The guided sessions are phenomenal. For those of us who struggle to get motivated the sessions truly work. Most running apps just track you. This one does that AND offers high production value mental coaching. I did my first run with the app and I just ran farther and faster than I have in a very long time. I found myself getting into a zen state instead of the usual whining, complaining, and giving up that I usually do. Really worth a try!

  14. Quentin Thomas-avatar

I downloaded this months ago but didn't really use it. After picking up some quarantine weight I decided to go for a walk and I used it. The achievements are simple but very fun to try to get. Plus the community aspect is lit too. Shows all the shoes they're coming out with if you wanna stay clean on your run. This is a great app. 5 stars

  15. Charlie Green-avatar

Love this app! Downloaded it to keep me and my dog active during quarantine, and it has done its job. It's a great option to be able to name your run, or keep them separate to other runs. One note, is my shoes aren't on the shoe list. I was really excited to use that feature but couldn't. Overall, really great app, just want to expand on the shoes. Mine are the Women's Metcon 7s.

  16. PretinhaCampos-avatar

Could be the best app ever. But the fact that doesn't allow me to connect with Spotify and my Samsung watch it's a bit annoying. Also I have problem to have my route completed. It's so frustrating. I already take my phone of the power mode and even so it's not working. Other than that love the guided runnings

  17. tetsujin-misfit-avatar

I love it, the tracking is accurate. The community is awesome. The coach is motivating. There as much use as you could get out of it and it's all free. This app honestly just gives running a whole other feeling of accomplishment and enjoyment. It's almost perfect, I just wish it'd support metric measurements better (for example in the accomplishments). Also that it supports Anghami music. But nonetheless, I love it✌🏾

  18. Ana Verdia-avatar

I've always loved this application, its helped me stay on track and analyze my runs. I only have one complaint, because location services can only be set to "when in use," whenever the screen is locked, the mapping and miles can be a bit inaccurate. When the screen is locked if I switch directions or turn a corner, the application will not log it accurately and when the screen is unlocked the distance ran is instead estimated by a straight line from the last point logged.

  19. Brian Chang-avatar

I've been using NRC for more than 5 years now. When I'm checking my past activities, the app becomes incredibly slow and freezes so often that I've actually become accustomed to pressing a button and waiting for a response for a couple of minutes (that is, if the app doesn't crash). Nike needs to fix this problem.

  20. c3-avatar

No cadence❌ No 400m voice feedback frequency (250 and 500m only)❌ No custom 400m splits nor automatic 400m intervals/laps. In distance mode, splits are fixed at 1km. In Speed mode, you have to mark your laps manually, which is extremely troublesome to do while running and impossible if you don't have access to a running track or physical distance markers. Furthermore, the lap button goes away when your run is paused.❌ Great map + graph visualisation✅

  21. Ram Gautam-avatar

I love this app, it's great, guided runs are amazing and Coach Bennett is an awesome person. However, I'm not able to share my runs, the app freezes while taking a picture or choosing one from the galley, even if you are able to choose a poster or a picture, there are no options showing up to add any stickers or the run information. I deleted the app once and redownloaded it but, the problem persists. I hope this gets fixed soon.

  22. Reval Aryana-avatar

This app is very useful for me due to the fact that it has many features that help runners to track their run and even be their running partners. But, there is a little bug in this app like when I start running, the map doesn't track my distance where I am running through even I have turn off the low power mode and completely turned my GPS on. It still gets crash for some reasons. I hope Nike is able to fix this bug because this app is very helpful for me to stay motivated in running. Thanks!

  23. Miles K-avatar

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS APP!! I'M HOOKED!! Look I'M not going to go on and on about how great this app is (because it really is fantastic and I use it everyday and challenge my friends). However, here are some things you could add or improve on: - Please add more levels/increase the level for Volt (literally anything please) - Smartwatch support (None) - Add more achievements or ability to create challenges and make our own achievements. I could go on... But great app and PLEASE update sooooon ✌👍

  24. Alex Marie-avatar

Excellent for basic run tracking BUT anything more technical you need more e.g. it sets a plan for you including interval running but doesnt actually track the intervals. So if you have to do 10 x 400m sprints, it doesnt notify you when you have run 400m or when you need to start again. Running plans are pointless if the app doesnt have features to do them effectively!!

  25. Roshni Kaushik-avatar

Great for tracking runs. You can set a distance goal, time goal, or just start running. A great feature to add would be to allow for warm-ups/cool-downs: either automatically detected or manually entered. You could then see statistics about pace/speed/distance for just the main run or with the warm-up/cool-down included.

  26. April Billips-avatar

I like the app but unfortunately it's very glitchy. I cannot view my achievement or the challenge I am in, it continues to give me and error message. It doesnt record properly when in motion in my hand and I have uninstalled and reinstalled 2x. I dont want to delete it but it's annoying to not know what's happening in an app that you are supposed to know. Please fix this!

  27. Lucy Truelove-avatar

God app, use it everytime I run. problems are now arrising since the update, map of my run is often running directly over a lake and doesnt show my route which is a little irritating but not the end of the world. Does need sorting though. UPDATE: I don't think it's being very accurate, I've been running with friends and they use this app and others and mine seems to be 300 metres ahead for some reason which is frustrating because I'm not sure if my previous runs are not correct

  28. Mycca Sims-avatar

This app helps me feel like I am working towards goals, rather than just running. I love the feeling when I finish a run, and see my times complete with one another. Also the tracking seems to be rather precise, even on military bases and secluded areas. Best running companion I have used yet.

  29. Nuala Dunn-avatar

Great so far (used it for a week)- love the guided runs, achievements and challenges. Really motivating me!!! Now 2 months in and still loving the app. Working through guided runs - extremely motivating and rewarding. Love surprise awards eg running on Chinese new year. Lots of challenges to conquer too. This app has made me love running!! Now to enter a race and get a real medal!! Now 6 months and still loving app - it helped me recover from hamstring injury by having coached runs from 1k to 5k

  30. Laura Kate-avatar

This app would be great if the coaching feature worked. Every time I finished a coached run, it wouldn't sync so the adaptive features that made the coach program appealing didn't work. Before you ask, I tried logging out and in, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, leaving and rejoining the program, creating a new account, and only syncing on wifi. None of these worked.

  31. sunil kumawat-avatar

I really liked guided runs provided in it. They motivates me to run extra miles.I started loving this app . But now i am facing problems. The same distance this app used to show accurate now showing less kilometer. I don't understand what's wrong with it. Some day it will show same distance 8km and other day 6km . It's really frustrating.

  32. Sebastien l.-avatar

I used the app for several years and was quite satisfied. But recently, my runs are not tracked properly, with significant errors on the mileage (>10%). I can see on other reviews I am not the only to face such issues. Accuracy is a basic. So, I will just stop using this app.

  33. TheMikeyPANDA-avatar

I have been running for 10+ years, always searching for an app with everything I need. I've finally found it. Great guided runs where the coach talks you through the importance of running and technique. Can't get enough of all the features, activity tracking, achievements, break down of splits etc. Highly recommended for all skill levels

  34. lynn west-avatar

I have used this app to keep up my activity, I watch the videos from the trainers/coaches, but mostly I love the tracking/mileage when I walk, not in the run stage yet. Just fyi I'm over 300lbs. And this works for me. Currently in a 5k challenge let's me know where I stand among others and that motivates me even if I move up a couple of spots. LOVE THE APP! Long time "member"

  35. Deno Muhammad-avatar

This app really motivate me in doing my morning jog. It has this achievement system that rewards you for making great progress such as (the longest distance, longest workout session, fastest 1Km, etc.) And it can play your favorite tune as well! It really is a helpful workout device. I love this app. Great work!

  36. Debbie Brotherton-avatar

    Debbie Brotherton

For someone like me who has done a little bit of running then gave up, was never very good but then trying to do it again, this app is a godsend. Free, guided runs for every level with amazing coaches who really do help you to feel good and make progress. Perfect as far as I'm concerned.

  37. Dave Scalz-avatar

Good but fails to track the course 1 in 3 times it gets used. I love the community aspect but not being able to see the route makes me question its use everytime it fails. Make sure your phone is on optimal performance because maybe that's the fault. Or maybe you can't use other music resources like Google Music player or other podcast apps. I haven't had this issue with MapMyRun, so maybe there is page to taken there as to how it functions.

  38. Kristina Andrä-avatar

    Kristina Andrä

It would be nice if the coach/training plan would acknowledge workouts tracked on other devices. I track my runs with Garmin. The run is synched to the overview of Nike run but in the training plan it shows as not done/checked. Also the workouts from Nike training app don't show as done in the Nike run coach plan. Would be nice to synch that better. It's demotivating if it is not getting marked as done.

  39. Russell Long-avatar

Please fix the bugs. I have been using this app for over 5 years and it has been excellent up until recently. The app has stopped mapping most runs correctly. I have tried on a Galaxy S8 and a Note 8, on different wireless carriers with no luck. Recently the coach function has been unable to correctly keep track of the runs, it intermittently loses them and says connectuin error when I try to update. It is also disheartening when you run PB benchmark but only 70 percent of it was captured.

  40. David Dale-avatar

The idea of app is great, but there are bugs that spoil the whole experience: 1) When there are problems with GPS around me, it defaults to the nearest airport, and the app displays that I ran 50km in a minute. 2) When I start the new Coach plan, the setup form refuses to submit with some weird "connection error", whereas both Wi-Fi and mobile networks work perfectly fine. 3) The interval mode in Coach doesn't work: the "Lap" button starts a new interval instead of a pause between intervals.

  41. Lidya Elizabeth Saragi-avatar

    Lidya Elizabeth Saragi

The counting isn't accurate, and plus the results in the challenge are not automatically counting, so it makes us looks too far behind, so if it's for real challenge, i don't think so this app is accurate counter. I think you guys need to really fix that problem to be able using by real runners.

  42. Kim Morrison-avatar

I haven't run this consistently in a long time. This is certainly the first time I've felt this good about it. Note: it doesn't look like the app has a feature for saving guided runs that you want to do in the future. You have to browse to find the runs you want to do every time. It would be nice to have a "favorites" list. It also doesn't show what guided runs you've completed, so it's hard to know where you've left off.

  43. Lisa D-avatar

I've been using the Nike run club since March and I've been enjoying it, however I downloaded the iOS version for my iPad just today and I'm a bit disappointed. I noticed that there are additional weekly runs in the 10k running plan on the iOS app that don't show on the android version of the app. Obviously now I can incorporate the additional runs into my plan, but I'm in week 9 of the 15 week plan, and only now am I finding this out. I hope the developers can make the Android app like iOS app.

  44. k vermeulen-avatar

Really annoying that there is no guidance in the speed and endurance runs in the my coach module. The coach should tell you when you did your lap and when the rest is over. For me this is a reason to switch to another app. Tracking individual longer runs works well.

  45. Charlie Thang-avatar

Loving it so far, except for one bug that seems to only appear in the android version. When looking at the leaderboard in group challenges, the app does not allow me to scroll to the next page and only shows me the top 10 scorers in that leaderboard. Meanwhile the apple store version is able to do this by default. Also it would be great if the developers took a page from the book of Asics with its runkeeper app and added some interesting voice packs!

  46. Nicholas Krug-avatar

I've used this app for a couple of months as I train for my marathon and loved it. However it has started to not record my distance acutely anymore. It will record my time but not my mileage. For example I do a run I know is 4 miles and it will record it as 3.5 miles in 30 min, I end the run and start a new one and my return trip is listed as 4.3 miles in 32 minutes. This has happened the last 4 times I've gone out running and I will no long use this app

  47. Titus Ponrathnam-avatar

    Titus Ponrathnam

It works fine. But then there is this issue where if you have a programme in the fitness app it keeps promoting youthat you have this program when you try and start a new one. Deleted the training app, ended the existing plan, same issue. Wouldn't let me start a new one. Very annoying.

  48. Logan Williams-avatar

I first downloaded this about in 2019 and only used it a couple times and didn't run for almost a year afterwards. I've picked it back up and it is so helpful to have a plan already made for you that provides accountability as well as a reasonable starting point based on numbers you plug in. It also challenges you to go just a little bit harder than you normally would. My problem has always been running too fast or too long which makes running miserable and burns me out. This app fixes that.

  49. Daisy Rdd-avatar

I have been using this app for three years. It has been a good motivator. Lately - since December 2019, i am having problems with it not giving me credit for my runs in the Challenges area, despite them being listed in Activity tab. I learned the hard way a few years ago that you must put the GPS locator on before the run, so I always am sure to do that. My Challenges are now 15km short despite definitely running that 15km, as my activity shows . Bring back Just Do It Sunday + more!

  50. Gabby Valdez-avatar

On my last three runs I noticed that the app would freeze after 3 miles and wouldn't continue tracking my run. So I would keep running more than I normally would (knowing my route completes a 3mile.) And it still wouldn't sync. 😢 There's some kind of bug!!! The only reason I use this app is because RunRocknRoll uses Nike and not Strava for their virtual races and challenges. 😒

  51. Timothy Tomashuk-avatar

    Timothy Tomashuk

Constant connection errors. Barely usable to track my runs as the mile distances constantly changes from day to day. Seems like the app "trips" from time to time and mile distance will change. Training plans don't provide pace updates due to connection issues so it's not helpful. No access to challenges or achievements.

  52. Guillermo Wenrich-avatar

    Guillermo Wenrich

Whenever I run intervals all of the lap features work great and all up until the last lap. I have found that the time between pausing and stopping will get included into my time for the last interval. This is extremely frustrating as it can ruin a bunch of my run data if I forget to immediately terminate my run after my last lap, which has already happened a handful of times. I also wish there was a feature to pause the run as you hit lapped it, so I wouldn't have to always do both sequentially

  53. Adam Moore-avatar

I really do enjoy the app, however sometimes when im doing sprints and try to resume the workout after a lap, it stops tracking me. Also I finished one of the my coach plans. But as i try to set up another it keeps getting a failed connection. The rest of the app still works, but i cant set up a new plan.

  54. Phil Kraatz-avatar

Unfortunately bot reliable, some runs won't be tracked! My last two runs have not been tracked; on the first one it only counted the kilometres but not the time and crashed upon completing the run and today it tracked the run normally but crashed when I finished the run - both runs now don't show up in my activity history which is really upsetting because it runs my progress

  55. Hannah Belcher-avatar

I love this app and how it's helped me stay motivated. The guided runs with the coaches have really helped me achieve my goals as well as change the feelings that I've had towards running. You can also log how many km's you've ran in your shoes which I think is really neat.

  56. Michael Trigiani-avatar

    Michael Trigiani

Started a training program because the app claims to learn you and develops a plan based on your performance. However the app has a mind of its own. Constantly changing old runs, removing them from your training program. Assigns long runs as speed runs and deletes your old history. Get a different app.

  57. Mariana Higashi Sakamoto-avatar

    Mariana Higashi Sakamoto

Lately if i edit my schedule on the training and run using the coach star button, the run is not recorded in my plan. Update: now it seems to be ok. It asks you to mark the train after you run. The only thing that is not pairing now is the NTC it used to mark done after you completed the exercise in the other app.

Have been using this app for several years now, it makes the run even more motivating. Their guided runs are killer!! :) The only thing I would wish for is for them to partner with Fitbit (and others) for the heart rate measurements, they only have partners who no one I know uses.

Great app except that looking at the map of my run afterwards, its way off. Seems to capture the correct distance and time, but definitely not the route. The route looks much shorter than I actually ran. I can clearly tell because I use intersections as my relay points. The route on this app can cut off whole blocks, but the distance seems right. Weird.

Love the app. I have had a glitch lately though where the 'nike run club is completing your run' notification persists in the notification tray. The only way to remove it is by restarting your phone. Pls fix. Btw it would be good to have a way to report glitches like this in the app. There doesn't appear to be another way to report an issue without leaving a review.

Dear NRC, Why is your app now saying I cannot connect to your servers? I have all my runs stored on there and had to uninstalled and then reinstall as the my coach part had stopped working. Can I still rely on what is normally a great app? Just emailed you and got an automated response saying that your emails are unmonitored.....what is the point in the email address then? Regards

  62. Finu Lukose-avatar

I liked the feature that builds a customized schedule based on your previous running experience; however it doesn't work anymore. It is super frustrating and if Nike were taking it away, why didnt they remove it from the app? The interface glitches up and displays the wrong units or wrong time every once in a while. The location tracking (which may be device dependent) is not hyper reliable.

Using this app more than 3 years ago, worked perfect since 20th of April 2020,till my last run, after crushed, cannot check the last run details and so on,just kicked me out straight every each time I tried to check,by any chance for some solution if not I have to change after 3 years, all my details, runs, infos ...... Thx App got back to normal, can use it again ok.

For some guided runs, the coach voice-over doesn't work when I'm using my wireless headphones. Sometimes it's completely silent, other times I hear the music soundtrack but not the coach, defeating the purpose of the guided run. As soon as I disconnect my headphones and play it again, the coach is heard. Very odd. I encounter this problem any time I want to do a speed run and it's frustrating EDIT: the app is useless for me right now, with no coach voice-over

This is a winner, I've never run before in my life and I have crappy knees and carrying too much weight and a chronic illness but these runs get me excited to do another one and another one and in a few short weeks I have gone from maxing out at 2 min runs to now 15min straight and 1/2 hr in intervals and today I just decided to try and run up my local mtn. I didn't make it, but I am psyched to give it another try soon. Highly recommend

Great app, despite a few issues. I love being able to track my runs, mileage, follow training plans, etc. However, there are a few issues I always run into. The app freezes everytime I try to share a run and go to my Gallery to add my own photo. It also sometimes freezes on guided runs, which is irritating to have to interrupt my run to fix it or end up restarting. Now that I know I have these issues with the app on my phone, I just dont use those features, but it's a bummer because I'd like to!

Not Efficient. This app used to show DURING the run; average pace, current p, distance, lock and unlock ON run page. NOW I only get one of these or map w/no features? I have to pause to see my distance then go back to a settings page to lock? Disrupts run flow. I like checking my distance against my pace at 1/4 miles or 1/2 miles. Especially trying to know if I'm consistent in my stride, sprints or that last 1/4 goal. So sad. Wish I could upload screenshot example to this review.

  68. Sahil Ali-avatar

Doesn't actually track by GPS. It simply records the time for first interval (250m, 500m etc) and extrapolates. For example if you complete the first 250m in 30 seconds, for every 30 seconds you run it will add 250 m to your distance even if have run for not more than a 100m.

  69. hp pie-avatar

Great concept but seldom works consistently...doesn't capture my distance or may glitch at the most inopportune time...I like that you can be in several events concurrently! More importantly, it brings people together and gas done me wonders in building my confidence to do more each week. Cheers!

Sooo disappointed in this up! Nike you could do SO much for users if this app but seems that you completely dropped the ball on this one. Let users see friend's activity & runs, mileage, time etc just like many other apps do. My setting is set for Friends but we can't see each other activity. Wake Up Nike before you lose all users to other apps.

My first run app. This is new to me and so far I enjoy it. I would like to see my pace as i go, not just afterwards. I think this app is good for what it is. The map is not always showing properly and the measurements are not entirely accurate. For example I can run the same route but it will show different distance, a bit annoying. Also, I can not synchronise my heart monitor although it did in the past. Hence one star down.

  72. Brian Paul-avatar

Want this app to work, but it doesn't. NRC worked perfectly on my Samsung Galaxy 8 from August 2019 to January 2020 - it hasn't worked very well from the beginning of February and seems to be getting worse with each update. GPS is not functioning, runs aren't mapped, and run times and average run times are now inaccurate. Daily failure rate since mid-April is now more than 50%. Reinstalls have no effect. Hate to lose my history, but will switch to Strava at the end of May.

A great app helps you achieve you goals and change your behaviour. The Nike Run Club has done that for me. Started using this app in April, midway through the Covid19 lockdown. And now in a quicker than I imagined I can run 5K consistently weekly. It also helping making which I hate part of my routine.

  74. Oliver Kerr-avatar

Great app...except keeps messing up distances. E.g. I will run halfway, then exactly the same route back but is makes me run an extra 1km beyond the starting point to get the "same" distance. Or I'll run 1km at a decent speed, then the next km at same speed but the app checks out and somehow thinks it takes me twice the time to run next km. Without fixing this it's pretty unusable, which is a shame because most the other stuff like custom training plans is great.

  75. Robert Sanders-avatar

So...many....bugs! But it took 2 minutes off my naked 5k. It's a fantastic app. Nike have created something very powerful in terms of a genuine training app. Loads of functions, narrated workouts etc. Just a shame it often fails and has to be completely reinstalled. Usually it retains your data. But I did a 26 week pre run training and it refused to correctly log my race day!

Does what I need it to do - records time, route and average pace and allows me to set the goal for the run - time/ distance etc. And best of all its free (did trials of Strava and Addidas app, but didn't get any more from them). Dropping one star as the app stopped at the end of one run, without recording any details - annoyingly my fastest pace to date - grrr!

  77. Amruta Jadhav-avatar

It's really good app but sometimes it behaves wrongly like it doesn't calculate calories properly or if you are wishing to use it while running on your terrace... It doesn't work properly on small places.. you need big space or ground or track to run for properly tracking your activities by this app.

  78. Andrew Macadam-avatar

The guided runs are fantastic. Coach Bennett is phenomenal. Would be great if there were even more guided runs as I can imagine in a month or two, they will be a not stale, but for a free app, I have not found better. Also love that it links to the Nike Training Club App, so that I can keep all my activity in one place

  79. Tom Dale-avatar

Generally good, but with one annoying bug: it sometimes stops tracking my run part way through. I'll continue to get audio time/speed updates each km, but when I finish I'll see that the map shows only the first half-ish of my route. On my last two runs it stopped in the same place, which looks to be under a bridge. I believe the distance/speed calculations after that point were wrong too - seemed way too generous to trust. Will have to switch apps if I can't reliably trust the tracking.

  80. Jennifer Caulk-avatar

I really like the active parts of the guided runs. The coaching had been really useful for me to learn about recalibrating my effort on each run which allows me to enjoy running more & hopefully it'll stick as a habit now. I'd like the guided runs to have coaching the whole time and/or pause my music in Google Play when the coach is talking. Sometimes it's too much competing noise because although it does make the music quieter, sometimes it isn't quiet enough. I'd like distance to be in miles.

  81. Ako G-avatar

Great app. Not sure why it doesnt record my elevation though. The updated speed run seeting doesnt not allow for seemless interval training as done previously. Before you could have ran a lap rested and then ran another lap. The setting no longer allows for this, once you click lap a new lap automatically starts

  82. Alok Nag-avatar

Great app. Unlike other apps, this is free and without any advertisements. I have been using this for past three months and loving it more and more. It has good set of different guided running sessions for all level and lengths and unning plans for for all level of runners. Together with Nike Training app it helps you to create a plan fitness perfect for you.

I really would love to give this app a higher rating because I know it works on other phones but it just doesn't work on mine. I'm doing a plan with my fiance and he does it on his phone but mine won't track distance properly and the lock screen doesn't work at all and I don't get any of the voice cues he does when I have all the settings turned on. Really a let down because I want to use it but it isn't compatible with my device. Going to keep trying to get it work but will probably uninstall

  84. Chris Rinaldo-avatar

Guided runs are fantastic, the coaching is so incredibly positive and encouraging. When paired with one of their training plans it makes for a great training tool. I wish it would allow direct connection to other social tools such as Strava.

  85. Dickson Lehari-avatar

I have seen some improvement from the app. Id like to see a bit more. For 1 id like to aee it have smartwatch support, it gets difficult to always jog with your phone. The feed is also quiet bad, its not as social as the feed on the Strava app. You hardly see how other runners are doing and so forth. Seeing them helps with some sort of motivation

  86. Navid SE-avatar

Used to be great app but not anymore. Now I have been trying to get new plan for my coach run for about 2 weeks and still not possible, always connecting error. Not sure what to do to solve the issue. It has been really glitchy recently

  87. Zaahir Ghanty-avatar

Great running, tried a few but settled on this one as it is great for tracking and analysing workout with relatively good accuracy. The free version has everything I need including built in plans. The music function usability could be improved but not a show stopper. Well done.

  88. Tammy Malone-avatar

I've had this app for two weeks and all it has done was frustrate my enthusiasm to get fit. I've walked 7 miles and had this trash app record only 3.69m. It functioned the entire 2.5 hours I hiked but failed to acknowledge my full walk. My calories count is only recorded for half of my hikes but when you pause that is it your calorie count is also screwed

What gives this 5 stars for me is the personal training programs customized to meet my personal goals given my current ability. I've been using the app for every run for the past 3 months and while the pace is a bit different than my treadmill, I generally use timed runs which solves this problem.

  90. Ashley Lewis-avatar

Nice setup but I keep losing my miles. I've had to call the customer service number to get it corrected since I was in the middle of a challenge at that time and now I'm on the second day of another challenge and my miles didn't sync for today. So I'm pissed!!!

Love this app! Except for 1 major thing, in the coach workouts it doesnt always tell you when you hit your mark. Example: i was running a 5x1000meter interval run which was supposed to have a break in between. But the app doesnt let you know when you hit 1000meters. Unless you pay very close attention you could miss it!

  92. Chris Garcia-avatar

I LOVE this app. I started using it about 2 weeks ago, I was inactive and had no endurance. It evaluated what I wanted to do and developed a training plan for me. I dropped from 228 pounds to 220 IN 2 WEEKS!!! (I'm also doing an 18-6 intermittent fast) I'm still going at it. I look forward to my continued training. It does need a few tweaks but nonetheless, a great app.

Nike Run Club has transformed the experience of running for me. That sounds dramatic, and it is. I really needed the coaching advice and guidance, and I can tell my form is better. I'm running farther and faster than ever. But the best part is the stories, like that of Lopez Lomong. I look forward to runs now because I know I'll get to feel inspired and probably get a little choked up. It's an emotional experience, and I'm realizing now what athletics are about--the journey to be better.

Why I need to sync every run after I finish even though if I was connected to internet, plus why I can't end the run if I had a long one, I had this issue with three long runs and because of this bug I keep missing goals even though I met it already but it's not recorded !!

  95. Sheick Omar Bittaye-avatar

This app is excellent except that it doesn't automatically record and save my runs e.g. when I press the stop button it ask me if I want to discard that run, no other option to save. I'll have to manually add the run or lose it totally. Aside that I love the app.

  96. Gabrielle B-avatar

i love this app! i use the plans they have to keep on track ans i like the feature where you can free run, but select a goal, like a goal time or mile selection. i use this in conjunction with the Nike Training Club and i have nothing but good things to say. I've been consistent with my running and i enjoy the variety of exercises that are provided. 5/12/2020: I've been having trouble with the distance measurement . It doesn't track my routes accurately

  97. amit arora-avatar

Really like the experience while using the NRC. However during run, if you try to use the pause button a few times, pace gets messed up and it shows weird results. Work can be done on improving the gps accuracy. However, I like the app.

I can't use the Coach function to build a marathon training plan. After I fill out all the details and hit 'build my plan' I constantly get this error message: "a connection error has occurred". It has been like this for about 3 weeks. I would love to use this function to train for my race.

  99. Ryan Godfrey-avatar

Love. After using Couch to 5K to get up to speed, I transitioned to this app for more variety. It's great. The only thing that seems busted is that the "coaching" mode won't work for me, I put in all my details and when I "submit" it tweaks out. Been like that for over a year. That said, the guided runs are great and quick runs, too.

  100. Ali Angco-avatar

I used this to keep me accountable with running. I depend on the My Coach plans a lot so I can create a schedule. But I noticed that everytime I start a new plan, get an error. I retry many times but the only solution is to redownload the app. Hope that get fixed.
